![]() Here were are in the month AUGUST, a month of new challenges and a new YOU. Summer is here. It's time to forget about the mistakes that were probably made last year, last month, and start fresh with a new resovle to get our goals met....and to those of us who made great strides, let's continue them throughout the new year. Today is also a good time to re-read the Atkins book or any other plan you may be following...to refresh our memory, to remember what worked for us...and to stay strickly on plan. It's also important to remember to drink our water and to exercise. ![]() One of the main ingredients to being successful in losing weight, is to be accountable. Posting daily or as much as you can will help you achieve that. Being supportive and motivating other's will help as well. Journaling is also a helpful tool in helping to keep you on track and accountable. ![]() We must love ourselves first before we can expect others to love us the way we deserve. We teach people the way to treat us....So, Queens...treat yourselve like the Queens that you are, and you will be treated like one...Demand respect and settle for nothing less.... As always, keep in mind that you are beautiful, important, special and that you deserve the best. Lose the weight for you and not because someone wants you to...Make this year your best one yet Queens.... ![]() ![]()

Good Morning Queens
Sorry I've been MIA. I still haven't gotten my computer running like it's supposed to but for the time being, it's running ok. I"m still in the process of moving. The biggest headache is throwing out things I don't want/need...16yrs. of stuff.
![]() This will be a new beginning and a fresh start. It's the same approach I'm taking with my weightloss. I've been overwhelmed with everything that's been going on in my life the last couple of months. I'm not dealing with anyone else's problems no matter what it is. It's going to be all about me and me healing myself. Making myself better, whole. I haven't read all of the posts, but I will. I wish everyone the best. well ive been sick for the last 3 days.. the weather is changing slightly and i always get sick when it does.. so of course ive been craving really not so good things to eat.. ive been snacking alot on chocolate.. but i haven't been eating large meals cause i don't have that kind of an appetite.. im drinking alot of hot coffee so i don't get strep.. i have to only drink hot stuff right now. i hate getting sick.. argg

Good Morning Queens
I cant really write much. Im having a bit of a family crisis. My brother did some horrible things to my parents and I must be there for them. Im so tierd of being involved in all this family crap. My brother is such a screw up, steals from them and they still give him a second chance well this time he did way worse. Anyways im also getting 2 new windows installed in my house so i have that going on.....im stressed out Anyways ive been working out like crazy, doing weights for toning, swimming and hiking. I could be eating better but im not completely out of control. I will post more after everything calms down,Love you guys Lizett ![]()

Ok well I have no idea what to do about my eating.. I try stricked I blow it.. then I try to just eat better.. and I guess my better consists of bacon cheese burgers and tots..
so this morning im making up some charts to keep on my fridge so I can write exactly what Im eating, so I can see it and keep track of my carbs.. Im gonna try back on strict, if I can do it for 3 days im hooked.. I did this when I first joined and seeing what ive ate for the day just made me want to do better the next day. So here we go again on the rollercoaster.. Im addicted to food again and I need to get out of that state of mind. Im gonna start posting everything I eat right now. Till I can keep myself accountable.. so..breakfast: Im eating bacon, eggs w/cheese and tea w/sweet and low. I already had a cup of coffee this morning

Im doing ok, I didnt eat well yesterday at all. With the whole parents situation...im trying to keep calm. Its not a good situation when a son steals from his parents. Anyways im dealing with it. Im just glad Miles was here to help. Miles is now back at work and his schedule sucks so i wont see him for 10 days but I will deal with it. Hope all is well with everyoneLori: I know how it feels. Ive been trying to stick to plan but for the last 4 months ive really screwed up. Im lucky i havent gained any more and am staying at 175 Lbs....I really do wanna be 155-160 Lbs for my wedding next year sometime. |

Hey Queens
Ok i started a food jounal as of today....im trying hard to get back downt to 160...15 Lbs seems so little but damn losing 100Lbs was easier i found. Breakfast 2 coffees 5 carbs 2 pieces toast 5 carbs Lunch: Grilled chicken with salad 5 carbs Tea and 500 ML water 0 carbs Dinner (planned) steak and salad 5 carbs Snack: Cucumber pieces 2 carbs so total would be around 22 carbs...i hope i can do this ![]() I will also try to walk 45 mins today...and do 15 mins weights |

lizett: I know... It seems like the 46 I lost was so much easier than now.. and its stupid cause i know the consequences.. its so frusterating.. all i can blame it on is last time i was in a bad marraige and thats what i took my frustrations out on was eating right and venting through excersize..now that im completly happy i know my dh loves me for me.. I don't feel like i have to work so hard.. but i don't want to go back to feeling horrible..
breakfast: eggs w/cheese bacon 1 cup of coffee dinner: stirfry = steak with onions & pepers not a lot of it cause its filling supper same as dinner.. no water only in tea and a diet coke i bought some pork rinz today so hopefully that will help cause i get introuble when i just want to snack and don't have anything.. thats when i stumble.. so we will see.. ive had a prety good day but no excersize.. cause ive been sick but im back to it tomorrow.. lovely night all |

DAY 2 INDUCTION
B]Good morning[/b]
well I did better than i thought yesterday, I ate on plan...only ate around 20-22 carbs. I also did a hike for 1 hour and weights/ab roller for 30 mins....so 1:30 for exercise. Im pretty happy. So far today i exercised 45 mins (threadmill) I have had to eat: Breakfast 1 coffee (medium) 1 pc LC toast and some quiche 7 carbs Lunch: Planned salad and pot roast 3 carbs tea 1 carb Dinner Planned Fish, salad and veggies 5 carbs Snack: cucumber slices 2 carbs Total 18 carbs Im also planning on exercising again tonight..... WHERE IS EVERYONE????? LORI: Im glad your on plan, I know the feeling but i refuse to get past 180 Lbs NO WAY NO HOW.....i gotta stick to 160...or less. Hope your day goes as planned |

breakfast: 3 scrambled eggs w/cheese, 4 bacon 1c coffee
dinner: lemon pepper chicken w/mixed veggies and cheese, tea supper: 1 hamburger pattie w/mayonaze snack: pork skins, diet pepsi I have stuck with my eating schedule prety well today.. I can feel my appetite going away slowly.. but Im still craving chips.. but i have my fried pork.. yummm ![]() i got in about 30 minutes of excersize this morning, it wasn't much but it was something... where is everyone.. no one is posting.. lizett: It really encourages me to see what you eat.. it gives me some ideas keep it up.. and good luck with your eating as well |

Hello Queens. Can you believe that I haven't seen ANY updates via email? None for last month. stupid thing. I am here....been having a hard time staying OP with food but I have been exercising. Some of my other coworkers wanted to extend the date of teh weight loss challenge at work. I don't know if they've just not lost weight and want to try harder. That's the feeling i'm getting. So I've got another month to drop some weight and inches. I need salad, so i think i'll have to stop by safeway this morning. yippee skippee...grocery store in the AM woohoooooooooooooooo Ok, i'm better, honestly ROFL I hope you ladies have a better day ![]() |

Good Morning
Well i exercised a lot yesterday did 1.5 hours and burned 800 calories. I also ate really well...only 18 carbs i believe. Im in step 2 of ketosis...and i havent eaten any bad foods or eaten anything after 7 pm YAY ![]() I hope all is well with everyone. Im keeping busy with exercise. Miss miles alot as he is gone for 7 more days ![]() Lori: Good job on the eating and exercise, Looks like its just us *L* and HT ![]() HT Im glad your doing well...hope w eboth can lose some inches and weight in the next month ![]() Talk soon |

Ok so im super sad right now my dh isn't here over night.. he took halaynna to see her grandparents and he went to see his grandma cause she is really sick.. im glad he is going to see her.. im singing
w/my mom and sis tomorrow at a memorial service so i couldn't go w/him.. this is our first seperation since we have been married.. so its kinda hard.. i felt like crying but pulled my cry baby self together.. my ex has the kids for the weekend so im here staring at a thing of crunchy penut butter and syrup i mixed up earlier and almost cheated w/it but my mom called so we could practice singin.. so yay.. saved by the phone.. so now im making some chicken and veggies and fixin to chow down..Breakfast: 3 eggs, bacon, 2 cups coffee dinner: bacon snack: pork rinz and beef jerky mess up: 2 spoons of pntbr 1 with syrup supper : chicken w/chees and veggies i didn't excersize today cause i had a monster headache and i couldn't get rid of it so i couch potatoed all day.. ![]() well im gonna go pig out gracefully on some low carb chick and veggies.. ![]() |

lol wtg avoidin the cheatin foods! I worked out today at lunch and am doing some reading for my online classes
i got my transfer credit letter.....I am only needing 3 classes I thought wouldn't transfer So I should be done with school by Nov 2009. sounds like a long ways away, but I'm only doing one class at a time ![]() |

well i did fine yesterday on eating.. today this is what i had
breakfast: 1c coffee dinner: chicken tips w/onions and pappers w/a little bit of ranch, I had one onion ring and tea and a couple of french fries.. this was our dinner out with my grandparents supper: chicken and veggies hopefully ill get some excersizing in tomorrow with my mom im gonna try and do some running on the treadmil |

Good morning
Hi Queens well im doing ok with eating and exercising. Im still in medium ketosis so i know im burning fat. Im exausted from the family drama. Its ruining my life....im scared to sleep alone and my mom is also freaking out. Hopefully my brother will go into rehab or something. Im eating really well, Im proud of myself. My mom made this awesome portuguese feast with portuguese sausage (LOTS OF FAT AND CARBS) I didnt even touch it. so i avoided temptation. Keep up the good work HT and LORI LORI I know its hard being away from the people we love but trust me it gets easier. Is hould know my fiancee is never home ![]() HT Good job on the exercising, keep it up ![]() |

Hey everyone.......sorry I have been MIA.....I went to doctor today because of my swelling issues and he has decided I am obese.......yep he came right out and told me. I almost started crying......so he prescribed to me phentermine 37.5 for one month to get me going. I have no energy, I sleep almost all the time. I am eating right and trying to get exercise in............Will keep you all posted.

Heya Queens
Well im doing good. I exercised yesterday for 1 hour and today for 1 hour. I did well with eating. I felt the munchies so i ate some chicken bacon and cheese and it kicked me outta ketosis...how wrong is that???? ITS CRAP!!! I checked thec arbs and they were only like 4...i just had one tablespoon of SF fat free yogurt so how could that do it? Anyways im really frustrated with the whole induction thing...its not working for me this time....I feel skinnier but the scale says NOOOO NOOO NOOO. anyways i will continue for one more week and see how it goes.DEB: Glad to hear from you. I agree leave the roller rink job, no one needs that crap. Lori: Your menu looks somehwat like mine...any loss??? imf inding my body no longer responds to induction...Im worried ![]() HT: Hey hope all is well. Hows the headache? Hope its better. I know its hard keeping eating in check...ive been eating less and im on induction..so far not too bad i try really hard and im dispaointed with the results...hopefully its TOM or something. lizett: Im not realy worrying right now if im losing.. im just trying to break the chain of craving everything all the time.. ive never even done the ketosis check.. but I do find that its alot harder this time around to lose weight esspecially if im not excersizing like crazy everyday.. so i started on my diet pills one in the morning and ill have like 2 cups of coffee and thats it.. i figure if my metabolism is up hight enough its gonna burn whats already there if i don't eat for a while after i take the pill.. im letting myself get hungry and waiting like an hour to eat drinking lots of tea usually cause hey its alot of water also.. but im hoping that will shrink my tummy.. and then eating a small supper of whatever i want.. i just started this yesterday really.. my pills are all natural so its not harming me. Ill let you know how that goes.. ill probably weigh in next wednesday.. so we will see
nothing has changed.. im cleaning for winter going through every single space so thats my excersize for now till im done |

Well im doing ok, still eating good, ate a LC bread with hamburger patties so not bad. Im a bit frustrated i was suppose to go see Miles tomorrow. Im on standby on his airline but seats are FULL!!!! i hope i get on so i can see him its been almost 2 weeks since Ive seen him. I really do miss him so if i dont post tomorrow its cause im gone visiting Miles. Hope all is well with everyone |

ok well today is another cleaning day.. i have one room left.. my back porch area with everything and probably a lost dog in it.. but im gonna be so relieved to get all my cleaing for winter done.. everything is organized and in its proper place. I told my dh lastnight that when i get it done i can finally concentrate a little more on running on my tred. cause then it only takes like 30min /day to straighten up the house. plus the kids have their chore chart they do.. but after everything is clean we are gonna have the foundation estemated for a fix.. cause we plan on building up so the foundation has to be strong.. anyways.. its chilli today which im glad.. i really would like to leave the ac off from now on and have a month or two with a small bill..they we are gonna get it on an estemated mth-mth pmt so its all the same.. plus we need to insulate.. but this check is the last catch up one.. so hopefully we will get ahead..

Good morning everyone........I still taking the diet pill, so far lost 2.5 lbs. Hopefully it stays off. I am eating a lot better then what I was.....The last time I did low carb I lost like 25 lbs. But this time around it wouldn't do anything for me.
I have been walking 3 x a week for 20-30 min. Hope everyone has a great weekend. |
