Trying to cut carbs for the first time, buddy support in cali?

I just joined this site and have been reading the amazing success stories. Mine may not sound amazing, but losing weight (about 20 pounds) a few years ago (which I had never, ever been able to do), made me a great deal happier. I have not however been able to lose anymore and I have tried, even worked with a personal trainer and I am a little discouraged. I am trying to cut the carbs for the first time. During the year I am a teacher and pursuing a degree at night, so I am really stressed and have a hard time finding time to exercise and diet. I would like to make some real progress this month.

Hi deliza !

WoW! You have made great progress - 25 lbs is a lot of weight - don't get discouraged!! It sounds like you have reach a plateau - that requires you add or do something different with your current routine. Your carb counting will help. Does your current workout routine include at least 30 minutes of nonstop cardio? I don't know if you run/jog, but if you can get it a 30 minute jog 3-4 times a week - that might be something to consider. I am trying to get about 20 lbs off myself. I currently weigh about 151 and would like to reach my goal of 130. Would you like to try to reach our goals together?
