Romans 15:13

I am glad that you expressed yourself yesterday. It's good to take a look at ourselves to make sure that we are expressing our beliefs with God's love and not being too critical. I can be too critical because I just cannot understand why some people can believe as they do.
I was going to tell you about that thread. Kab actually was looking at it last night, and he could not believe that so many actually didin't know what they were talking about! I still haven't looked at it. I'm glad that you posted on it.
I wanted to post again last night, but Kab was on the computer, and I didn't want to say anything to him. He is gone all day, then he worked outside for a while, so he didn't get on the computer until after dinner, which is usually late. That's why sometimes I don't post in the evening, then it gets late, and I assume that you have probably given up on me!
I'm glad that your squash casserole turned out. I have some zucchini that I need to use. I saw a thread on the recipe suggestions by Gary about a zucchini pepperjack or something like that. It sounded good, also. Last night we had a taco salad with my salsa on top, Kab and I ate too much, and we really enjoyed the salsa on top! I love meals that have everything in one bowl! The salad, meat, cheese and topped with lots of salsa.
I am surprised that you have not lost! I hate to admit it, but I am still trying to get down to where I was from my "fiasco". What was I thinking?!
I did get some response from The Christian Gang about my post, and they were fine. I'm sure there are a variety of beliefs on that thread, too, but, at least, we can state clearly what we believe. On that thread, so you will know, everyone waits until LeahIA (Leah in Iowa) starts the thread for each day. I didn't know that and posted yesterday, so it was moved to where it should have been, if that makes sense.
I have a little trim work to finish today, and I want to really clean my bedroom before putting everything back. I need to clean everything as I put it back. I am making some custom rods from some 1 1/2" dowel rods or closet rods that I have. It's hard to describe, but I have two windows in each corner of my bedroom, so I want to mitre the rods and hang sheers from those clips over my blinds. Did I lose you? It's hard to picture without seeing the room, I'm sure. I bought four sheers at Wal-Mart, and I am going to half each one, hem them and hang them with a slight gather. Hope it looks like I picture it!
I will try to post a picture, if I can find one I like. NOT!
Then I have to figure out how to do it! I have a scanner, just need to work with it more.
I will talk to you again soon. Don't apologize for asking me anything, sweet girl. You weren't being critical at all; in fact, asking about it shows that you are very sensitive to others! I think God gives us a caring heart and an awareness of others' feelings, don't you?
I need to get busy. Can you believe August is almost over? Of course, you can; you take care of the books!
I will check in with you in a while!
Love ya, LadyRae

I agree with you about the parmesan! It doesn't smell good at all! Also, I do not like the smell of chives.
I can't remember if I told you about a book I made up for my family members called "How Well Do You Know Me?" I thought there are many things that family members don't know about each other from their favorite color to why they believe they are saved. Do you mind when I ask you questions? I want to really know you. So, what is your favorite color? (I will always tell you mine, so you don't have to turn around and ask what my favorite is) I love pinks and blues, especially teals, turquoise, aqua, and all of those shades.

Page 10 !!

Wow, our pages are upping?
You know what, that thread isn't there not about the bibles, I can't find it. Isn't that weird? I just checked it again and now I can't find it. I was surprised to see it yesterday because I never there before.
Strange?

Listen, I know what you mean about the computer, you don't ever have to apologize to me about that. I feel bad at times too because John is watching tv and I see him there, so I like to post my last to you and then go hang out with him. Just because I may post last, doesn't mean you have to respond back if you can't. I totally know and understand!!

Ohh your taco salad sounded good! With the salsa on top, yummy!! That Zucchini PepperJack Casserole is the one I used. I liked it because it called out for pork rinds or Almond flour mixed with parmesan cheese to be sprinkled over the casserole with some butter dotted or poured on the top. It came out nice and crispy.
You know what I had for lunch yesterday besides my salad. I had put some pepperoni slices on a plate and threw some mozzerella cheese on top and microwaved it. After I made it I found some left over pizza sauce I made for that dd pizza last week.
Maybe today I'll do that again for lunch.

Well, I'd better go so you can work. I'm going to lurk around and see what else I can "stir" up lol. Between you and me, we're going to do just that, right!!

God Bless!
Love,
Diana

You can ask me anything!!!

Hello, Good afternoon!
How are you doing, I hope you're not working too hard. I just got back from an errand and it is so bloody hot out there! Today is going to be a hot one, for sure.

So ask away, LadyRae! I'll offer some info. As you know I like lilacs and lavender colors, I also love red. I love to wear deep red lipstick when in the mood. I also like to wear natural colors too. My DH say's I don't have to wear any make-up, but for some reason I just can't quite believe that.

Clothes wise, I wear alot of tank tops, naturally with the weather and all. My favorite colors to wear are the same as I listed above, plus black, white, lime green, and pink, a light baby soft pink. Oh and I love aqua too. My favorite birthstone colors are ameythst, limon, and that orange color one, I can't remember the name.

My DH and I love to go camping when we find the time. We are both home bodies too, we don't get into the partying scene. Although we occasionaly will entertain with family and close friends, but's not very often. John loves to bbq all the time, he's got a phrase the he say's all the time, "I gots to bbq"! He always talks about opening a restaurant, him with his bbq and me with my baking. What a dream!
What else, we love sitting outside at night when it's cool and look at the stars. We love to look at storm clouds as they develope. We love to wake up early when it's cool and have coffee. Of course it's decafe for me, lol. I love to make breakfast early in the morning, before the sun comes up.
We want to live out in the country. My house would be a country home with a big porch. I would hang my clothes outside to dry instead of using a dryer.
I look at everything in this world that is beautiful and Praise God for his creations. I do!
I am an observer. I watch everything and notice and analyz things. The analyzing is not always the best thing though.
I cry easy, certain things will touch me and I always cry. I cry when I get mad too. I love to laugh. I have been told that I have a dry sense of humor and that I'm pretty funny. I love humor, I love that God gave that to us. My family is the type that we can poke fun at each other and laugh.

I love to Karaoke, we do that every once in awhile. We have a pool table that we play, especially the kids. They love to play that.

I wear make-up, but if I didn't have to I wouldn't. But I absolutely have to do my hair, LOL. It's starting to get some grey around the sides, but I may just leave it. I don't feel like coloring my hair.
Boy I can't think of anything else right now.
If you think of something, just ask, I don't mind.
Okay now all the things I listed, tell me the same about you?

I wanted to tell you something. I had this dream that I was fighting this force and evil force, it was just paralyzing me and I couldn't move. I would pray and plead the blood of Jesus, rebuke it and nothing would happen, it was as if nothing I said was doing anything. I was standing in faith while speaking, but nothing. After awhile it finally succumb and I was free. But it took along time it seemed, for that to happen.
Isn't that weird!

Something else I was going to tell you too. What is it? Well if I think of it I'll write it out.

I guess I have a novel going don't I, so I'll give you a chance to read and I'll write later.
The lovely LadyRae,
LadiDi

That is wierd!

I posted two times on The Playground today, and I wonder what kind of response they will get. Someone posted a thread about going to a funeral, and the words to the Lord's Prayer had been changed. You wouldn't believe the responses! It's really disappointing! I wouldn't be surprised if they just think I'm a kook, fanatic or both and not respond to me. I wish you could get on it.
I don't know what to think about the Bible thread being gone. Do you know what a "sticky" thread is? I thought it was a thread that was rather controversial, etc., but now I'm not sure.
The Sistas in Christ don't seem to get into much theology or discussions, do they? I don't know if I would just check the rest of the threads and eventually fade off the scene or not. What do you think about it?
Is your day going well? I'm thinking of doing bacon, tomato (a little), mayo wraps. I usually put Kab's in wraps and mine in cabbage or lettuce leaves. Still great! I think that I told you that I love pizza, chocolate cherries (still thinking on that one!), bacon, peanut butter, and pretty much everything!!
I had missed heavy mayo from when we had our deli. Going from that to Miracle Whip Free was hard to take, but NO MORE!! We eat only the good stuff!!
I made a Netrition order today, and among other things, I ordered a chocolate and a cherry DaVinci's. I made out a pretty big order. Have you read about the coconut oil that everyone raves about. If you look it up at Netrition, it tells why, and it is rather interesting. I want to try that coconut bark, too.
I need to go; it's almost time for Kab to be home (already?) and my hair is in rollers!!! I roll it sometimes because it is easier than using my curling iron because my hand goes to sleep. I can roll it for a few hours, and with a little natural curl, it does fine.
Better get these rollers out, and I will try to post later for sure.
Love ya, LadyRae

LadiDi, what thread were we both on when we were replying to AmazeofGrace? I haven't seen her name and wanted to check on the thread, but I can't remember which one it was, can you?

The Lovely LadyRae,
I've been back for a while, just had this on but wasn't looking for "trouble" until now.
Boy it's really hot today. I can't wait for the fall, so I can open my doors and windows.
Oh I meant to tell you that this Friday, we're meeting at my sister-in-laws house for the pre-intervention. My sil is a Christian too and she has alot of experience doing interventions. Then Sunday is the actual intervention. I believing that this will work out good.
I've got other people I know here in AZ praying for my bil too.

Yeah, time to go home. I'm going to pack up my stuff and walk on home!! LOL
Doesn't that sound funny, walk home, I'm walking home which is across the street, lol! I have far too walk huh. I try to make the most of that 1 minute too. I squeeze my uh hmm, (Kab cover your eyes) butt cheeks, and power walk. LOL Yeah right huh for 1 minute!
Okay I'm yapping.
I'll talk to you later on tonight!
Love Ya, LadyRae!
God Bless,
Diana

Hey Pen Pal!

Just wanted to have one last word before I sign off for the night. Are you watching the Packers? I asked John if he wanted to watch the game but he doesn't get into the Pre-season games, he says the scrubs plays. Whatever that means? Not really I know.

I'm trying to think of what else I can share with you about myself. But first let ask you something. You're not with the IRS or FBI are you?
Okay I didn't think so.

Well you know that I love the rain, I love to get wet outside with the sprinkler when it's hot, but I don't do that too often because the grass in our back yard is John's masterpiece! It's grassy and green and he doesn't want to ruin it.
It's true! But I don't say anything because he works hard to make it look good. I guess Sammee's poop is the only exception.

You know I love my niece's and nephew's, they mean everything to me, I spoil them too.

I struggle self-image problems. I'm in the process of learning to love myself the way the Lord wants me to. I'm learning that since He created me, that for me to not love who I am, because He created me, who be like an insult to Him. I learning that I don't have to worry about being accepted by others because He has accepted me. I'm learning that I have His confidence and that is all I need to walk across a room.
I slowly but surely learning these things that I should have been taught in the Church when I was a baby. It's sad that we're not, it sure would save alot of us from learning the hard way, but if that is His will for us then we can't complain!

So my friend, I have so much to share with you anytime, just as I hope you share yourself with me so I can know who you are too. And I know in time that will happen.

I'm a simple person with a simple life and that suits me just fine!

Okay so I'm gonna go for now, I may lurk around for awhile though. John fell asleep, I'm still here with him, but I'm not tired yet.

I'll talk to later,
Love
LadiDi

I forgot I wanted to answer some of your questions from an earlier post.
Yes sometimes I feel like not posting on some of the other threads because I do love to talk about the Lord and I know you do too. So what if we started a thread such as, a Daily Scripture Verse. Like we can post our favorite scriptures each day or something, or a Daily Scripture Discussion.
What do you think? Then maybe we can get some of those who are believers or even those who want to know, some exposure to the Word.
Let's think about it! But still encourage our weight loss too.

Your wraps sound good! I do love to eat those too, and with lettuce. I just had 2 hamburger patties and a slice of the pizza that was left over from Saturday. Then for dessert I had sf jello with some fresh whipped cream and 4 frozen strawberries. I hope I don't gain anything, lol!

If I didn't answer all what you asked me today, I will answer them tomorrow for sure!
Okay I'll see you in the morning!

Love Ya,
LadiDi

Well I wasn't going to post first but. . .

LOL! Good Morning LadyRae, with the Son shine in her eyes!
You know what, I don't know why, but I like saying that. Hope you don't mind?!

So it is Friday, I have to do a happy dance!

Okay I feel better now.
So what are your plans for this weekend? Anything fun or exciting you're going to be doing? Well what ever it is I hope it's going to be fun. You guys already worked hard enough, take a break!

Well, of course we have that intervention, Sunday and a pre-intervention tonight.
In between that we are just going to enjoy the day and I'm sure do a little cleaning around the house.

I still haven't lost anything yet! But I have a plan, I'm going to do that fat fast that Dr.Atkins talks about in his book. I'll see how that goes.

Alright well I have to take my sister to her care dealership right now, but I'll be back in awhile.

Talk to you then!
Love Ya,
LadiDiana

How could I not like Son Shine in my eyes?!

I love it! You sound as if you are having a wonderful day. I cannot believe that you haven't lost. I am losing again, but I'm still not down to where I was. I get mad at myself everything I think of that, but, hopefully, it will keep me from doing it again.
I didn't get on here until late because I stripped our bed, moved everything back out of our bedroom and really vacuumed well. Everything takes twice as long because of little Minnie! The world is one big toy!
I have been meaning to ask again about little Sammee. Is he (right?) still playful? Sometimes that is good, but I always feel guilty if I don't play with Minnie because she always wants you to play. My other cats are old enough that they are easy, then this little kitty comes along! She shadows the big cats; Kallie takes it for awhile, then hisses at her and goes on, but Sassy isn't amused at all!
I just feel that the intervention will go well. Your BIL has a choice to make, and it is up to him to make the right one. He can stay defeated and controlled by drugs or choose to be break free of it. Of course, you know all of that, but we don't realize how our choices affect the rest of our lives. His is a big one! I pray that he will think of his family, also.
We are getting rain, and it is a little cooler, and, of course, cloudy. We had gotten so much wind all week, too, but it is nice and calm now. I hope that you get some of this rain from Hurricane Dean, I think.
I have posted on some threads on The Playground and EWB&FBS, but about three of them have not had any posts since I did. Makes me wonder . . .
Well, it's Friday, so it's Pizza day. I'm going to make my crusts around nnon and let them sit in the fridge. I have to use that zucchini this weekend, too.
I tried and tried to scan my photo and transer it to my pictures. It scanned just fine, but I can't figure out how to add it to the picture file. Whenever I look at the Help, it lists about 538 subjects, but it never addresses my question, it seems!
I'll go for now, and I will post again later. I always have so much to do, and I wonder how people have time to post and read so much on this board. I have a hard time returning all of my e-mails! I will alwaysfind time for you!!
I liked this sentence which was in our morning devotional "As Christians we have no alternative but to march to the drumbeat of the Holy Spirit, following the measured steps of goodness, which pleases God."
I thought that you would like that!
Talk to you soon! Have a good lunch!
Love ya, LadyRae

Helloooo!
I do like that devotional you posted! I love reading them, so inspirational too.

I won't take up too much here, but just wanted to check in to let you know i got your message.

I am so glad to hear you are losing!!!
And don't you worry about sharing your loss with me okay, because I get happy when you lose and you will keep losing we just have to be patient.
My time will come too!

I know you have alot to do, and I'll be leaving here around noon anyway to do my usual grocery trip. Last week when I spent too much , I bought alot of chicken that was on sale and some ground beef too. So today, I don't need to buy any meat just vegetable for salad and breakfast stuff and lunch stuff for John. Should be easy.
Maybe even pick up a treat or 2 for Sammee. Ahh, my little guy is doing so good. When Johns' alarm goes off in the morning, Sammee gets up from under the bed and starts his little crying for John to wake up. It's so funny.
Then when I'm not awake yet, he'll start crying for me wake up. John will put him on the bed sometimes and I'll pretend like I'm sleeping. Sammee will come up to me and see if I'm awake, if I have my eyes closed he won't bother me, but if he see's me with my eyes open he comes over to me and starts licking my face.
If I pull the cover over my face, he starts to take the covers off with his paws. It's so funny! I hold the covers tight so he can't pull them off, then I can hear his breath getting faster, that's when I feel bad and take them off.
He is a funny little dog for sure!

Okay that's it, I've already used up my time, just kidding.
I'll talk to you later too!
Love Ya,
ladiDi

I never told you that I liked your quote at the bottom. It speaks to me because I tend to think my best years were when I looked better, had a wonderful job and was dating Kab. Best time of my life. Not that now isn't good, but when I look at photos of me when I was a little younger, it makes me sad. Enough of this, I know we can't live in the past and must look ahead to our eternal future, but sometimes it just pulls you in for a moment.
I know that you are out shopping right now. Hope that it's not too hot! The items that I have trouble keeping on hand are the lettuces, salad stuff, and, of course, the fresh stuff. It's too far to run into Enid very often, and I hate to go.
I want to tell you about the church that we left a couple of years ago now. It's a long one, so I will wait until next week. It is really an awful and sad situation. You wouldn't believe how bad it is.
I always have so much that I want to tell you or ask you, it seems. NO, I am not the FBI or the IRS!! Although, I think that I would like to an FBI agent! That would be fascinating, I think. What gets me is to realize, whoops, you're too old to do that, as with many things.
Gotta go, and I will pray for your intervention this evening, and, of course, the real one on Sunday. I just know it is going to go well!
Pet sweet Sammee for me! Have a good afternoon and evening, sweet LadiDi.

We did watch the Packers last night, but John is right about the games being rather slow and uninteresting at times. Sometimes the "first-string" players play in the beginning of the game, but then the others play and try to do well because they are continuously cutting to get down to the final number. I know that Tuesday is another cut. The Packers lost, and Donald Driver was hurt, but I don't know how badly.
Just forgot to add this! Tell John about Driver; he is really good, and it will be a loss if he can't play.
Love ya, LaRae

I'm still here! I'm waiting for my dad's partner to get here to make out some checks.
I was getting a little bore and wanted to send you a message, but I didn't want to be greedy, lol!

Listen you are going to look even better than you did before. We are going to stick with this woe and nothing can stop us except ourselves! Don't give up the fight!!! To be honest, I don't think I ever looked good when I was younger. I was alot thinner that I am now, but I never knew how to dress to look good. Now that I'm older, I think I look better now. And I think that we always look better when we get older. You say that you were a real looker when you were younger, well I'm sure you still are!! It's just that our weight has gotten up, but we can get that down.

WE'RE NOT TOO OLD TO DO ANYTHING!!!! We can do anything we want and it's not man that gives to us, it's God. He is the one who promotes us and give us His favor to do what ever we need to do!

Well, I better go too. But I hope to hear from you this weekend.
Love ya,
ladiDi

I got your PM. I guess we're just going to have not worry about those things, just trust the Lord that He will speak to their hearts, right!
I'm leaving that to Him!! We did what we're supposed to do.
Okay I'll stop!! LOL

I may not be on here later, but I may come back later on tonight, you may be asleep though. I may lurk at night and see who's up, then again I may go straight to bed. But this is Friday!! I don't want to waste my night, so I might stay up.

That's another thing about me, I change my mind alot. That may be something the Lord has to temper with me!

Well, John will be home soon and we're just having tuna salad for dinner. I had to pick you my niece from hs and she is way out of my way. Didn't get to do the pizza tonight, maybe tomorrow!

OKay I'll maybe, hopefully, talk to you later!
Love Ya LadyRae!!!

Did you get to do your grocery shopping?

We're having the pizza tonight, and I always make two. It's nice to have some for the weekend. I plan better during the week than I do on the weekend because we're off schedule, working outside or up to something! It is supposed to be a little cooler, so I'm sure we willl be outside. Always have lots of projects. The secretaries at the church where I worked when Kab and I met called me the "foo-foo lady". I liked everything just so, I guess.
I've been thinking about you and the intervention. Where does your BIL work or is he able to?
I need to get my pizzas topped off and in the oven! Kab is hungry! Can't keep a hungry man waiting!
Hope to talk to you later!
Love ya, LadyRae

Well I haven't left yet, but in about 30 minutes.

I didn't get to make my pizza. When I came back from the store, my niece called me to pick her up from school so I had to drive all the way to go get her, it's about a 40 minute rt, that cut into my time to make the pizza.
This morning I had to take my sister to her car dealership to get her car serviced. That was an hour rt too.
She may have to drive her husband to the rehab place, it's in Palm Springs, which is about 4 hours from us.
She doesn't want to do that on her own she wanted someone to go with her such as someone he was close to. She has someone in mind, so hopefully it will work out.

My bil works for my dad, and has for about 15 years. Along time!

Oh when I went to the store, I had bought some coconut oil. I have to see how to use it. It looks like it has different functions. I tasted it, but it has not flavor. I read some ladies were saying that it was so good you could eat it by itself. So I'm wondering if I bought the right one.

Okay, I'm going to go. . .for now. I'll write later and let you know how the meeting went.
Love Ya LadyRae!

LadyRae!!

Well the pre-intervention meeting was good. My sister-in-law said everything that I had always felt the Lord showing me. I know, I sound like a know it all. I have always told my sister that she needed to show my bil tough love. If he didn't want to get help then to let him go. He needs to hit rock bottom and realize that he needs help. LaRae, I have told my sister, my Dad, who my bil happens to be close too, this for the longest time. But no they would hold on and try to help him but it never did any good. I said the she needed to give him to God.
But the synopsis of the whole meeting was what to say to my bil. Of course everything will be done out of a spirit of love and we are going to share how what he is doing makes us feel towards himself. My niece, his daughter will be the last to talk because we want her words to be the last thing he remembers. It was good!

I'm praying for the best, that the Lord will be merciful towards him and that his heart will soften to receive our words, and most importantly, the Lord.

Thank You so much for your prayers, they are so much appreciated!!

So, right now we have the Dbacks on, they're playing the Cubbies.

How did your pizza turn out, fabulous I bet! I may do that tomorrow. Oh on Sunday for the intervention, I'm bringing the condiments for the burgers and a side dish. So I guess I'll have to look at LindaSue's website and see what I can bring, or maybe a dessert. I want to do that mock brownie danish, make a big one and make some fresh whip cream, sweetened with sugar free raspberry syrup, oh that would be the bomb!!!

I wonder what's going on with the Sista's, they haven't been posting too much. I hope they're okay?

Well, I should go incase you're not up, but I may lurk around for a little bit.
Talk to you later or if not, then have a good night and a sweet sleep!
Love Ya,
Diana

The Lord brought the rain!

Good Morning LadyRae!

What an awesome day it is here, I hope your having the same. It's dark and raining here right now, I hope it continues for awhile.

Do you have a busy day today? I have the usual, laundry, vacumn and dishes. And what ever I feel like doing.
You know I just ate breakfast, 2 eggs and 3 pieces of bacon, but I still feel hungry. Or do I need to get into the word?!

The meeting went really good last night. My only concern was my dad because he usually likes to do and say his own thing. But he did listen to my sil and agreed to go along the way we're supposed too.
My sister brought her daughter with her because like I said before, she wants her daughter to be last words my bil hears. So I told my niece that when she writes out her letter or words that she is going to say to make sure she say's how she wants her dad around when she graduates, gets married and when she has kids of her own.
Then we all started talking, my brother asked me to pass the kleenex box to my niece, she was crying. I don't know if what I said did something or if over all. I'm sure it was over all, but I'm sure she thought about her future without her dad.

So I believe it went well and we are all in agreememt that my bil will agree to going to rehab.

I Thank You again for your prayers LaRae, it means alot to me!!

I am now very interested in hearing about the church you used to go to. Whenever you have the time.

I think I'm going to do that pizza, I'd better get on with the crust too.

That phrase I have on the bottom is from a song I've been listening too, is from the a singer named Daniel Kirkley. He is a Christian artist and it is a beautiful song. If you look in his website which is danielkirkley.com It will play his music automatically if you have speakers.
The song is called My New Dawn.

I tasted that coconut oil and it has no flavor? I wonder if I didn't get a good one. I know one of the ladies said she uses one by the brand called Artisana. I looked it up in the internet and those who use it say they can eat it right from the jar.

Well, I guess I'd better go for now, but I'll be back later on to check in !
Love Ya,
LadiDi

Getting ready to go outside for awhile

When it is so hot outside, I tend to literally just throw things into the backroom or on my side of the garage. So, since it is cloudy, and the rain has moved east, we are both going to straighten up in the garage, then, hopefully, work on the back room tomorrow! Can't wait to get to that!
I may not be able to post much today, but I will try to run in and out. Our garage is an oversized 2-car garage with that room on the back. I think that I told you that I want to make it a guest room/studio/workroom type room.
Enough of my rambling on that; I need to comment on the important thing. The intervention did sound as though it went very well, and I am so glad. I know it will take an emotional toll on everyone. Will your dad be able to do without your BIL working for him for the time it takes for rehab? Your BIL has so much in his favor, a caring family, his boss is his FIL, available rehab, and if he would turn to God, he couldn't fail. I PRAY that the door to his heart will open! I know that you will let me how everything goes. What time will it be? I'm sure that you told me, but I can't remember.
I can't get into the church thing today (maybe later), and I don't mean to keep you in suspense, but it is rather long, and I want to tell you all about it. Also, my mother's friend, Betty, that I have mentioned before, has a daughter named Janice, who is very nice also, but she is into this William Branham following. He has since died, but he called himself a modern day prophet. He was very uneducated and "backwards", if you will. I know that God can use anyone, but I don't believe in modern day prophets. We have the Bible and the Holy Spirit. In OT times, they did not have a Bible, and God spoke to them through prophets. Some time ago, she asked about our beliefs, and we wrote a long letter expressing exactly what we believed and why. She was raised Southern Baptist, as was I, but years ago, I wanted to know the Southern Baptist doctrine to see if that was how I truly believed, and it is. There is a book called the Southern Baptist Faith and Message that lists beliefs, ordinances and doctrine. That is our "doctrine", also. Janice was really wild growing up, and I don't think that she ever thought about her beliefs or the Southern Baptist beliefs. When she met her current husband, he had her read a book by Branham and said she saw the ball of fire (something from Matthew), etc. Anyone, she sent this response to us a week or so ago, and we need to address it again. People get caught up in some weird ideas and theology, don't they?
Also, you had mentioned loving a simple life, and we do, too. You know, the more you have, the more it has you! We are just as happy in our little home here in the middle of nowhere as anywhere else we have lived. I used to wonder why some people with their big mansions would build right on a highway, then it dawned on me that they wanted everyone to see their house! Well, probably, anyway. That's my thinking. People can be so materialistic, and it is easy to get caught up in that, but it can control you, too. I know people like that, and even though they may have money problems, they have to have the newest things. Who cares?
The coconut oil that I heard discussed was Nutiva. I ordered some from Netrition, and I am anxious to try the coconut bark. Some people just rave about it, and they say it helps them to lose weight. I'm all for that. Are you still planning to do the fat fast? I can't remember how that works, but I saw a thread on the board that someone was wanting to do that, also.
I loved what you said about Sammee, and his antics. I can just picture you with the covers over your head playing with him. There has been a stray dog hanging around since yesterday, that, I am sure, someone has dumped. She had a litter some time recently. I know we shouldn't have, but we gave her some food away from the house. She is the ugliest dog I think I have ever seen, poor thing. She acts as though she had been abused, too. We called the dog pound yesterday, but it got dark before they could find her, so they are supposed to come out today. At least she will have food and shelter. It is the cruelest thing to dump a dog, then they have to scavenge for food, coyotes can get them, they can get hit by a car, etc. I would like to take their owners and drop them into Siberia with nothing but the clothes on their back and see how they like it. Kab says that mercy is not my gift.
I need to get outside and get busy! Hope that you get lots of rain, but not too much!! Have a great Saturday, and I hope you enjoy your pizza!!
We will probably have some more today, also.
One more quick thing. When I scanned my photo, I did have the option of e-mailing it, so I was thinking that I could scan in a few photos and send them to you. I will try to do that sometime soon, I promise!
I would like to see a photo of Sammee, too!
Love ya, sweet Princess Di!

Hi,
Wow what a busy bee you are? I wish I had your ambition, if I did I'd have my whole house spic n span!
Not that my house is a total disaster! LOL

Well it looks like if my bil agrees to go to rehab, I'll be riding out there with my brother who will be driving. I'm okay with that but at first I was hoping it wouldn't be to go, but then the Lord softened my heart and I said yes!

We will leave here around 9am, it takes about 4 hours to get there, then we'll drop him and save our see you soons and God Bless you, then leave.
I hope I don't !!!
I know I will.

So my parents decided to bbq some burgers tomorrow. I'm off to the store to buy what I'm going to take over there. I wanted to make a low carb dessert but I'm having a hard time deciding on what to make. I know that I'm making chocolate chocolate chip cookies for everyone else.
But for us lc-bers, maybe fruit with whipped cream, I don't know!
I made the pizza and it did come out a little better with the dark round pizza pan. I double the recipe so it was a little bit thicker about less than an inch. It was filling, too fillng. I had one and a half pieces, I couldn't finish my second one. Plus I was munching on pepperoni slices again while topping the pizza! I confess, I'm a muncher!!!

That's what got me this size, I munch. Not too mention I eat way too much, or I used to.

Okay, time to go to the store. Maybe I'll see you here later, but if not I'll definately talk to you tomorrow!!
I'm going to email you pictures of Sammee and of John and I too.

Love You LadyRae!!

Good evening, LadiDi!

You have had a busy day! Believe me, my house is not spic 'n span; I get to doing other things, then my house is dirty. It's really dusty for some reason; I can hardly keep up with it! Truth is, I don"t keep up with it!
You have to work which takes up your time, and then all the other things that you have to do.
What time is the intervention? It must be early if you are to leave at 9am. That is a long 8 hr. trip for you. I guess that his wife would not go? When will you have time to BBQ hamburgers if you are gone? What did you decide to make? Do you look at the recipe room on the board? Also, Kevinpa has his recipe site on the board, also. He does a lot of cooking.
We are going to try to watch a movie tonight. We finally watched The Pursuit of Happyness which was very good. We had that for over a month before we got to it! So, now we have Wild Hogs, and it is supposed to be funny. Hope it's not vulgar.
I can't wait to see your e-mails when you get to it; I know you are very busy.
I will try to get mine to you soon, also!
I will keep checking the board, and if you don't have time this evening, believe me, I will understand. You do what you need to do.
I will be thinking of you and praying for all of you.
You are royalty, LadiDi!
Love you, too! You're the best! LadyRae

Hello!

I LadyRae, how are you, hope not too tired. It's been pretty quiet here today. Nobody we know are posting. Strange, but I'm sure everyone is busy.

I wanted to comment on what you said regarding your mom's friend and that person her husband follows.
I believe that when people follow someone it's because they don't have a strong foundation in the Lord. Their seed was never planted in good soil.

I'm not sure what you meant by not believing in modern day prophets. As in prophesying about Christ and the latter days, or in anything in general.
When I first went to church, it was a prophetic kind, it's called Christian International. They have a website you can look them up and check them out. They opened up several churches locally and in different states and in different countries. When I went I had no idea about the prophetic or how to flow in it. Then they taught on how to flow and listen to the Holy Spirit. So John and I had learned to prophesy, and were even prophesied over to years ago. Everything was biblically based. Jesus said that we would do even greater works when He goes to the Father, only if we believe. John 14:12.
If you get on that website and read what they believe, you'll see that they believe all that's in the bible. You won't find anything that is not biblical.
Sometimes know when I'm praying for someone to myself, I'll see something for the person, but I won't say anything because I don't want to freak anyone out. It's not alot, it's very, very little and I'm always asking the Lord if this is Him or just me. So I have to watch it sometimes that I don't say just anything.
I hope I don't sound weird to you, but remember this is what I was taught and trained.

I have a book that is called the Eternal Church written by the Bishop Bill Hamon, he is the President of CI. This book talks about the church throughout the ages and is very good and full of information regarding the body of Christ. I would highly recommend it.
As I read it, Bishop Hamon had wrote a little bit about William Branham. I'm just paraphrasing it. Here it is.

When the Laying on of Hands Doctrine was restored in the 1940's, they did do the laying on of hands on the sick. Now part of that doctrine is where Willaim Branham came along. So I guess he was kind of the forerunner for those to come who did the "laying on of hands" and the deliverance ministries but he also had the gift of the word of knowledge too.
But as he got older they say his doctrines became questionable, like you said.
But it seems like he did play a vital part in the begining of that church movement.
During this time that's when Prophecy came along too , but it was used as personal prophecy to reveal the calling and ministries of the church members not so much as the OT prophets did. During the 80's this was very active and that's when I started going to church. I know that each doctrine that has been restored are still going on now.

Anyway, I just found all that interesting and it's all in this book I have that I mentioned to you.

Okay I'd better go for now because I need to make those cookies. So please comment on anything I said, or if you don't believe the same or anything. This is what I love about us, that we can discuss this!

Talk to you soon!
God Bless,
Love Ya LadyRae,
LadiDi

Oh,
The intervention is Sunday at 2pm and if my bil agrees then we will take him on Monday to the rehab place. I'm so sorry, I write so much and I know it runs all over the place.
We will bbq after the intervention.
I think I'm going to make a Strawberry recipe from LindaSue. I don't have any ingredients for Kevins recipes.
I'll let you know how it turns out.
And I will send those emails really soon!

One more thing, if Janice is following William Branham, then the person leading these people are doing it in the wrong way. They should be lead to God and not man. I'm know you know that.

There is a need for the different functions of the church, such as Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Teacher, workers of miracles and gift of healings, administration and speaking in tongues. It's in 2 Cor 12:28
All those are still active in some churches today. Well they should be.

My cookies turned out good, John told me, I didn't eat one.

Okay goodnight and have a sweet sleep!!

Hi LadyRae!
How are you this morning? Did you get your jobs done this yesterday.
Boy it seems like it's never ending huh! John is doing the lawn right now and I'm boiling potatoes for a salad, for the no carb people today. I'm making a mock potatoe salad for us lc. My cc cookies came out looking delish, John tried one last night and said it was good. I also made some lc snickerdoodles and the Strawberry/blueberry cobbler from LindaSue's website. The cobbler looks good I'll let you know if it is. It's actually called Strawberry cobbler, but I added blueberrys in too. I'm going to whip up some whipped cream for it later.

This morning as I was making it I couldn't even concentrate on what I was doing. I couldn't remember how much ingredients I put in. My mind was on my bil.

I still haven't lost anything yet! I'm maintaining though. I'm just going to do the normal Atkins. When I tried the fat fast, I have to eat every four hours, so I have to make something to eat during those times. I don't have timet to do that. I'll just do what I've been doing and be patient and know that the Lord is with me to see me through!

How are you doing? With all the work you did yesterday, that would be quite a work out. I bet you had to of lost something!! I hope so, I know you will lose. We can do this we need to really get this going so we can meet out Thanksgiving goal.

Well, just wanted to check in with you to say Hi, I'll be checking in at times before I go to my parents house, then I'll let you know later how everything went.

Talk to you later!
Love ya
