Any low carb pen pals in the Pensacola, Fla. area?

Hi! I am not in Florida, but I am only about 40 miles from Pensacola. I live on the Eastern Shore in Alabama.

I am just joining back up after a long and carby absence. I really need the support. I did atkins very sucessfully about 5 years ago and since then I have eaten much better than I used to, but not like I should, hence I now have about 25-30 pounds to loose. I am determined to buckle down and actually get started again this time with no excuses. I am reinducting on Saturday after I go to the store and stock up! I am ready to feel better and look better.

I just started back to work after the summer ( I work in an elementary school office) so once the kids come back next week, I will be eating at my desk again, so much easier to avoind temptation when I can't get out.

I would like to have the support and friendship of others to help me through this.

Hi Dawn, nice to meet ya.
I have alot more to lose than you do but I know its hard to lose no matter how much you have to lose.
I stay home alot due to bad arthritis I have and exercise is limited to so I don't burn much calories up like I need to lose to much.
I do plan my meals and eat healthy though.
I was wanting to see how many of us low carbers are here in my city but so far only you have replied to this post so I guess there is not many of us here.
Where in Alabama are you?
We were in Mobile for awhile before moving to Pensacola.
