Stress eating SC, I can understand that, I gained so much when S3 moved back with me, BF said you'll never lose weight with him here but I proved him wrong. Hopefully things will work out and you can visit beautiful Colorado.

Ok T, so we got to start yelling more, BF will just love that im sure, cant say if I got a low thyroid or not-was never told that. I could hear ya over here yesterday ! I must be a screwball as I like doing stuff by myself-but my life has been so full of mayham maybe thats why. Screamin away the pounds I only found 2 dresses in 1 box that were do-able T and I have not gone thru any other boxes, the one is that beaded dress I have hanging in the bathroom that I did not even bother to try on again as 2 inches has to be off the belly at least unless those undergarments I ordered do it for me. I am not going to go crazy looking thru the boxes because I just cant. The other is a plain black cotton long dress that fits. I dont leave until the 4th. I really dont want to spend the money or go shopping for a new outfit for the wedding. At least I wont be wearing the fat dress I wore last yr !

Now how far do you have to drive C to your Canada destination ? Sounds like a grand time ! Hated your snack idea by the way, I am still not good about drinking water altho I do get a hot glass of lemon water down in the am. Bought limes this wk as the lemons are so pricey now. Which reminds me of something else I read......article said to drink hot beverages with all food never cold as that will solidify fat ! Went on to say thats why Japanese thin-because of the hot tea will meals, hot melts fat, cold makes it like a fat snowball Horray for getting the tight jeans out !

I looked for the cheese yesterday D but I could be blind, did not find any WW cheese so I got the babybel light. The t bones sure sounded good and what a nice day you had Sat. despite all the walking. I know what you mean about Curves, I could tell I was out of it not going for a week plus.

It was 96 here yesterday with stinkin humidity ! I did jump in the pool early and did 20 laps, also did the am/pm Callanetics dvd. Back is so so this am.

Bought a new snack yesterday in the baby aisle, Zwiebeck(that lil hard toast stuff ). I figure I could put a little smart balance on that-I loved it as a kid and its only 35 cals, 1g fat, but has 6g carbs. I put snapper on the grill Sunday and it was a disaster, did not even look or taste like fish, it was "on special", if I had the energy Id take the receipt back to the store and make a stink..BF could not even eat it and he's like Mikey. Dumped all the fish and then made burgers.

Sun
am-grapefruit
dinner-1 plain hamburger and green beans
snacks-2-fruitis, 2 -100cal. snack pacs

I tried the hot water w/lemon a few times YH but in this heat, coffee is about the only hot drink I want. I read an article that it speeds up metabolism and weight loss if you drink cold water. Can't win for losing. People out here moan & groan about the humidity. I tell them they don't know what real humidity is till they've lived on the East Coast!! Would be nice to have a pool to splash around in. I miss my pool. I think the plain black dress will look very nice at the wedding -- take a picture!!! Sounds like you are doing great with your exercising! I remember the Zwieback. The babies would gum it till it was a soggy mess. Hope you are a little neater.

We are going to an awards banquet tonight for ds2. I have to bring a dessert so I will make a carrot bundt cake w/cream cheese icing this afternoon. Ds2 won a trip to Evan's Plunge (a place where they swim in natural hot springs) for perfect attendance, which he is going on tomorrow. Tonight they will give out letters for sports and awards for highest math grade, English grade, etc. He is counting down the days -- Wed is last day of school. Hooray!

Tomorrow I am picking up a couple of my sorority sisters to go decorate the hall for our luau. You should see the things I bought. Bright yellow tableclothes, hot pink and lime green dinner plates, bright orange cake & appetizer plates, napkins that have all those colors with palm trees and beach scenes on them. Straws with bright colored parasols attached and "flamingo" pitchers for the drinks. I have tons of little plastic sea creatures, crabs, lobsters, starfish, to strew on the tables, tiki torches to line the pathway outside and little "beach-scented" candles for inside. Grass tableskirts. Large 9 ft inflatable palm tree. Bright-colored banners and orange, yellow & green crepe paper to adorn the walls and ceilings. It should look very festive!

I am dying for coffee but I am fasting this morning and only drinking water. Of course dh made a big pot so I think I will take some in a travel mug with me and drink it after I get my blood drawn, on the way to Curves. I need to get stricter with my diet this week. I ate too much over the wkd and feel very bloated this morning. I really want to be in a smaller size this summer!!

Happy Monday!! D

Oh D you're killing me with all the party cooking you do!!! Carrot cake w/ cream cheese frosting...yum yum You're luau sounds like it should be fun. Anyone of the other sisters helping you w/the set up??

A simple black dress is never wrong YH. Do you have some nice jewlery or a scarf to set it off? The main thing is that you are going smaller so they can heart their snide little hearts out

I don't read all the info that I use to cause it does change from article to article & will drive you !! I did see headlines on an article Sat about the vitamin D & breast and other cancers. With the way I have to avoid the sun maybe a small dosage would be helpful. Again we're back to everything you add is another cost to the budget. And w/my lesser hours I'm trying to keep such costs down. I'd rather spend the extra $'s on food specialty items like the Babybel & SB bars. It's bad enough it cost us $60 to fill our car yesterday....& we don't have a big truck or suv just a car!

We had a very good visit with the friend from Japan & meeting her mom. Went to TGIF for dinner & they had a nice ck & cheese dish w/broccoli. I did have a warm garlic breadstick w/my salad. But we all passed on dessert. DH got one of their large fruit marguritas & 5 straws & we all had a sip. Is fun to watch someone experience new tastes. The daughter & ds went to hs together & she's been in the states doing schooling of some sort or another most of the yrs since hs. She's stayed w/us & also w/ds in his apt when he had one. DS went to Japan & stayed w/her family in 2006 & they treated him like a prince. So we were very happy to meet the mom. We're hoping some day to go to Japan & stay w/ them for a few days--what an experience that will be!!

YH I got the Wasa crackerbreads awhile back. They are great for ww's. Not too bad for lc. Good for protein & fiber. I even got the natural pb to spread on one as SB allows a small amount. And of course the laughing cow wedges are good spread on them. The bran ones D ordered are lower counts but these I got on a really great sale in a store & didn't have to pay shipping. They do satisfy that cracker need. And if this is a lifestyle not a diet I need to fill my addiction food areas LOL!!! Love any kind of bread & crackers. And D---you ate a bran ckr while the family had birthday cake With that kind of will power you certainly can be in a smaller size this summer!!

Well it's time to get off here & start getting eveything laid out for our suitcases & the car. Canada is not far from here YH. We have several places we can cross over. You use to just go but since 9/11 we have to have passports & go thru customs. Sudbury Ontario is quite a distance, I've forgotten how many miles but it's around a 10hr drive. But it is beautiful & once you get out of the Toronto area it's very unpopulated. Very refreshing trip.

Ok I'm gone--I'll be checking back through out the day. I see we didn't hear from T last nite---think she was welcoming dh back home

I would love to go to the hot springs D - I just love that kind of stuff, there is one in North Port, Fl called Warm Mineral Springs, big eastern European crowd and tons of old people going in with all the aches and pains, wish I lived closer. Your luau decorations sound so nice, it will be a big hit im sure. I did not care for the lime that much in my hot drink this am but got it down. No coffee, fasting...ughhh.

Your Canada trip will be fun, C. I lived in Toronto for a yr. in the early 70's. I think I tried the Wasa crackers way back when - if I remember correctly I was not thrilled. How nice you got to meet the mom from Japan, someday you will go visit her. The garlic breadstick sounds divine ! I am not going to tell you to watch yourself on your trip because thats something I cannot do but you did say you did ok with the food on a prior trip.

Well the back is acting up again, im sure I overdid it on the weekend. So I got a pork roast in the oven, taking bath in epsom salts, then pills, and BF must have 6 dvds in the bedroom so just going to rest. So aggravating. My Cape Cod potato chips were on sale this week and I must have stared at them a good 5 minutes in the store, I wanted to woof a bag down so bad. Those were a major contributor to my weight gain. I thought of C and the Blazin Dorritos !!!! I swear it was like I was having an attack. But I got my baby Zwiebeck's to try...

I'm back from Curves. Friend can't go again till Thurs or Fri, which is fine with me since I have so much to do for luau before then, but I don't want to skip another day at Curves. I really needed the workout today!

Sorry to hear about your back YH. I just read in one of my magazines that a soak in epsom salts is one of the best cures. Hope it helps!

Just getting ready to make a cake when I realized it had started raining so I ran out to get clothes off the line. Of course it's stopped already and the sun is out again, but oh well, at least the clothes are dry. I almost stepped on a big snake this morning when I was hanging them. Wasn't poisonous but hey, a snake is a snake!

I Cape Cod potato chips. We used to vacation on Cape Cod and take the kids on tours of their factory often. Best part was the free chips at the end of the tour!

Tonight will be a challenge for me. The school is having a potluck before the Honors Banquet and is serving bbq beef sandwiches and chips and asked every parent to bring a dessert. I should have made up a fresh fruit platter. Now I don't know what I'll eat. I certainly can't eat the cake I'm bringing. If the beef is not coated too much with bbq sauce, I'll have to dig it out of the sandwich, otherwise I may be waiting till I get home to eat. I hate when I don't plan well ahead of time. It's not like I love bbq beef sandwiches to begin with and if I'm going to cheat, darnit I want it to be on PIZZA or a BAGEL, not this crap.

Stopped at the dr's office this morning to get my blood drawn. Dr and nurse kept going on and on about how good I looked and how proud they were of me. It sure did boost my spirits some, especially knowing I have such a looooooong way to go before I even get close to goal.

C, sounds like fun entertaining your guests from Japan. My sister & I had a friend growing up whose father was transferred to Japan for several yrs and when they came back we used to laugh over the customs they had picked up, sitting on the floor on mats to eat, taking shoes off before entering their house, etc. That would be so awesome if you could go to Japan to visit them someday.

T, boy that must have been some welcome home dh got last night to have you MIA for so long!!!

Oh shoot, just remembered I bought some flowers and left them in the trunk of my van. Hope they haven't keeled over and wilted on me. Better get going here, that cake is not going to make itself either! Hope everyone is enjoying their Monday!

D

Wow, where is everyone?? I came home thinking I'd have a few posts to read and...nothing.

So the potluck was pretty scary for a low-carb eater. I'm in line watching everyone walk by with a beef sandwich on a big hamburger bun, scoops of baked beans and potato salad and a big handful of chips. I told dh there was nothing I could eat and he suggested eating just the sandwich. But did I really want or need that hamburger bun?? The whole time I stood in that long line, I thought and thought about it. Terrible how much this consumes my life these days. I got to the front of the line and asked the server to give me a couple of slices of meat only, no bun, nothing else (fortunately it turned out to be plain roast beef, no bbq sauce). My plate looked so bare but there amidst all the cakes and pies and yummy desserts was a dieter's dream come true--the fruit platter!! Woo-hoo!!! I had 8 grapes, 1 sm wedge of apple and 1 little section of orange. I was starving by the time we got home at 10 pm but at least I could snack on legal things then.

Today's menu:

B-nothing (fasting)
L-salad w/diced chicken
S-1 sl WW cheese, olives
D-roast beef, grapes, apple, orange
S-meatballs, 2 sl WW cheese

I was so proud of ds2 tonight. He received ELEVEN awards, both academic and athletic, including an Outstanding Service Award for his work with a Down's Syndrome classmate. Sorry if I brag too much but I wasn't involved when I was in high school and hung out with the wrong crowd, so I'm just amazed that I could produce a kid who not only gets good grades and is athletic but also is very popular with his classmates and teachers. Just a very well-rounded student.

I have 2 sorority sisters that will help me set up for the luau tomorrow. The other 2 I asked couldn't do it but I think the 3 of us should be able to get it all done.

Well I guess I am way too chatty today so I better keep quiet and let the rest of you get some words in edge-wise. And please -- get some words in!!! I want something to read with my coffee in the morning -- YH, I am counting on you!!!!!

Goodnight gals! D

Always wanted to go to the Cape Cod Potato Chip factory-must have read the back of the bag millions of times. Good thing s3 eats the barbecue ones or I would be in trouble. Congrats on the awards your son rec'd-be proud-you did a great job. Some ordeal in the food line but you managed to do good. You have enormous willpower as you are constantly in these food situations-I would have trouble and have removed myself from things that involve food because I have to. Good to hear the dr. and nurse are applauding you-you certainly deserve it. We are here for you D all the way, so happy I found you guys. Got myself into a snack binge last nite again !

Mon.
am-red grapes and cantelope
lunch-oatmeal w blueberries, grape tomatos
dinner-prk roast and green beans, 2 bites of stuffing
snacks-zwiebeck-2, 3 fruities, 2-100 cal. snack pacs, ice cream, few pretzels, few animal cookies.

I think I will make a sign in front of or remove my snacks from their location which is on the floor next to my bed so I can reach over and consume, I keep them there so S3 won't eat them on me . BF said I was sleeping the other nite and reached over and ate some he does not want me to choke and croak on the snacks. I have a big variety this week and I want to try them all, so bad. I am so tired by the time I get off work, make dinner, that I think I deserve this crap while watching tv. Its like I get into a frenzy and consume this junk within an hr. time frame. Its legal stuff but its way too much.

Fast good morning! I know what you mean D--feel lonely when the posts are few!!
Congrats on doing so well at that meal!! It's amazing what we can do when we are in the mode!! When I'm in the "mode" I will have a little bag w/15 nuts in it or a protein bar in my purse & go to the ladies room & go in the stall & quickly eat my salvation! I have some things that will be in my toiletries bag that will be in cousins bathroom so I can go in & sneak my will power Family always tries to so over feed you when you visit!
I understand what you're saying about the snacking YH. It's not the eating that's at issue it's the lack of control. Think you should put them in a drawer or something in the bedroom where you have to get out of bed to make your next selection.
Never had Cape Cod chips....gee how did I miss that brand
LOL!!
That's so great on your son D! Be proud, it's our badge of honor as a mom!! Lord knows we have to eat it when they do stupid stuff--we need to be happy to revel in their glory days too!!
Ok have to run. Have a great day ladies!!

Woo-hoo!! Posts for me to read!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I was thinking the same thing, YH. I snack way too much. It's legal things like you said, but too much of a good thing. I need to set some boundaries. I shouldn't snack after supper. Nights are my worst time for it. I didn't drink that potion yesterday because I was on the go all day and night, and I could feel the difference. I was so hungry last night and snacked more than I should have. That protein powder really curbs my appetite. I think I will have it this morning and really focus on eliminating a good portion of the snacking today.

I laughed about your side of the bed, YH. I am guilty of that too! I usually have some bags of sf candy on my side. With dh's stash of candy in the headboard, I figured it was time I fought back with a stash of my own!!

C, you got me going again when I read your post. Sneaking into the bathroom stall for a snack. Look what we are driven to -- eating in our sleep and snacking on the toilet!!!!

I have so much to do today. Ds2 promised to help clean for his party but nothing got done over the wkd and we didn't get home till late last night and now today he is at that hot springs deal, which is several hours away, so he won't get home till late tonight. I need to clean 3 rooms thoroughly, livingroom, kitchen and bathroom. I better get that music blasting!! Dh loaded up my van this morning with all the decorations and things for the luau. That helped getting all that junk out of here!

I am so sore today. My feet especially. I woke up with them burning in pain. I don't know that I did too much walking yesterday but dh thinks it's all the sitting at the awards last night, from about 6 pm to after 9:30. Note to self -- do not take a water pill before a 3 hour long awards ceremony!!! I totally forgot that last year they split the academic and athletic awards into 2 separate nights so I wasn't prepared to sit there for that long time. Boy was I jiggling by the end of the night!!

Dh and I sat with next year's new wrestling coach, who just got hired this week. Ds2 is big into wrestling so I was glad we got to introduce ourselves and chat a bit. Ds2 told me later that another wrestler's mother had already sang my praises to the new coach, telling him if he needed anything baked, driven or chaperoned, I was the one to get in touch with. Great -- there's no hiding now!

Speaking of hiding, T, where you at??? Hope you'll stop by today if you can.

Well I better start tackling this house. Looks like a tornado ran thru it!!

Have a great day ladies!! D

Have I been gone that long? Wow, I guess dh's welcome home lasted a lot longer than I realized--you gals must have been psychic or something, or no, just WOMEN! Well, enough about that!

So much happens when you miss a day--C getting ready for Canada; D getting ready for luau; Y on a snack attack--you've all been busy! Me, I had a bad binge, sorry to report. After I reported weight up from Chinese food on Sunday and resolved to not eat it anymore, a dear friend calls at last minute all excited because she passed the bar (after having failed it earlier this year); and invites us to go celebrate w/her and other friends at guess where--the same Chinese restaurant where I got my food I just resolved not to eat anymore! What was I gonna do? Actually I only ate meat and vegs, but the sauces are so salty and oily! So weight up again in am!

Then I got so depressed I couldn't shop and cook dinner Mon. so dh says lets go out to this new Italian restaurant I've heard so much about...am I gonna say no to that? Ha! And...I blew it at lunch because they had my absolute favorite banana cream pie... So I am out of control already. So we go eat at this new place, and it's incredible, and dh asks me if I want dessert..OMG! I don't have to tell you what happened next.

So, I am going to try a new tactic which I started this morning, which is, like you C, I got out a pair of designer jeans I bought last Nov. when we were in Palm Springs, and which I have not been able to wear yet. And I put them out on top of my dresser to put on every day until I can zip them up and wear them. The bad thing is, I could zip them when I bought them, and can get my hips into them, but my stomach is so much bigger I can't zip them now. Ugh. And I'm quitting weighing myself because it just makes me depressed and then I tend to binge more. So there!

I also called my dr and said I want to go off the neurontin because it's making it impossible for me to lose weight and I also think it's making me depressed. So they gave me a tapering schedule, and told me I might want to try Cymbalta if I'm still having too much trouble and depression. I asked about the nausea and the nurse told me she takes it and did not have that problem, it doesn't affect everybody that way. So we'll see. The good thing is that since I have been keeping my blood sugar real low, the burning pain has lessened. I'll just take xanax or Ambien to get to sleep.

So I am really going to try to eat a lot less until I get into those jeans and then I will wear them for awhile, and order another pair of designer (yes, they have to be designer or I won't care--so spoiled!) jeans, and try to do the same thing. I will probably go crazy from not weighing myself since I have done that compulsively for years, but I need to make some sort of change because what I have been doing has not worked very well!

So here's a nice long post for y'all to read! Well maybe not nice, but certainly long!

D, you have been amazingly busy these last couple of days, no wonder your feet are sore! But what fun you've been having! Where on earth do you get all those decorations? A 9 ft. inflatable palm tree? You gotta be kidding me! I wish I could be there to see all this, it's gonna be incredible! Also, what is incredible is how you could go to the banquet and come away only having taken a couple slices of meat and a few bites of fruit! You have unreal will power! And congrats on getting all the kudos from your dr's office. How lovely was that! And congrats to you on all your ds's awards--that must have made your heart sing!

Y, I can understand why you would be wanting to snack when your back is hurting you so much and all you feel like doing is lying in bed watching tv. Sounds like the epsom salts bath was a good idea. I don't suppose it's possible they ever got the hot pool fixed at your gym? It would be so nice if you could go relax in one. Do you suppose you might need surgery for this? A friend had it for a couple of bulging discs she had, and it took care of the problem for her, but I know it can be risky. What does your doctor think? Hope you feel better soon!

C, what a nice time you had with your friend and her mom! I have a friend who loves Japan and has been there a number of times through our sister cities program. They go over at discount rates and stay in people's homes and get shown all over. Maybe your city has such a program? Hope you have a wonderful trip to Canada. Are you taking your laptop? We loved it when we got details of your trip back east!

Well, I have been much too long here, making up for lost time. But, one last thing--I see y'all really resonated with the yelling thing! So, here's to screaming away the fat! Love ya! T.

Sorry about the Chinese and the Italian binge T ! Let us know how you do on the cymbalta, I think the prozac is starting to help but don't think that will help with your pain/nerves. Ok, now we got 2 scales in the pot We have C's in the basement and where is yours T - do you have a basement too ? Ok, you and T are trying on jeans that don't fit.....I get depressed when I look at the maybe beaded dress hanging in my bathroom because with the off and on back I dont think I could make it on time. Anyway we are here for ya !

Just love the idea of your toiletry bag in the john C - my relatives would snoop thru it. Are you going to be able to post when you are gone ?

I would of pee'd my pants D at the dinner - more D willpower ! I can tell when I dont take my potion too. I have all the stuff at work and not too good about it on the weekends. Hope you burned those calories in the house today.

I managed to go to Curves after work-skipped a couple machines. Off to make dinner now-whoopee, plus BF did not go to work and is asking me already what the dvd lineup is

Good evening ladies! Can't believe it's 9:30 already! Boy the day did fly by. But I got lots done. Like D I was a tornado today! Everything is packed & ready to put in the car Wed nite after I get in from work. Then we will be up early morning Thurs & on the road. Really looking forward to going. Tomorrow is my 2 client day so I'm not home til 7:30 and I'm tired and don't want to finish the packing or cleaning out the car at that point. We will not be taking the laptop so you will not get the blow by blow of this trip.
Will miss the support....last vacation it was fun to tell you where we were at & tell how I was surviving w/all my food tricks LOL!!

Glad you made it back to Curves YH. At least you have the one plain black dress, don't stress over the after 5 dress. And my in-laws are famous for going thru your stuff when you're not around....was so shocked when I first encountered this w/them. Once I went to sil's & there were pillows on her sofa just like the ones I had?? So when we got home I got into the closet & looked on the top shelf where I was storing 'em til the baby was bigger & wouldn't mess 'em up--and sure 'nuff they was gone Another time went into mil's kitchen & she was mopping up a spill w/a rag that I recognised as one of my dresses. Poor husband is a nice normal man & living with these nut jobs has been a real stress on him over the years. Think my mom thought I had lost my marbles the first several times I told her the things my dh's family were doing.

T I tell you I just am not bringing the scale back upstairs. Weighing has triggered me many times over the years. If you need it to be designer jeans so be it---I remember when you got into those jeans & were so happy...but you'll get into them again. I packed my 2 pair of just fitting jeans, and since I will have nothing else to wear I won't be able to stuff my face & bloat up and not be able to zip them---I can't borrow a pair from the skinny minny cousin and can't walk around their house unzipped with my tummy hanging out. So I think I will come home in good condition.

Yeah D how crazy is it that you have to sneak off to eat something healthy??? Got into doing that when I first did lc & everyone was so critical of Atkins. It really helped me thru some tight spots though & I was able to be cheat free for many months & lost a good amount of weight.

Well I will be able to check in before & after work tomorrow, then I won't be back till Mon nite. You all have a good holiday weekend!!

C, I am going to miss you!! I hope you have safe travels and a wonderful time in Canada. What a courageous thing to do -- taking jeans that you can't wear if you over-indulge. I applaud you!! I know you'll do fine while you're gone. You've been doing so great lately and you know how far you can push those boundaries so that you enjoy your vacation with some indulgences, but can still zip those jeans up when you get home!

T, well we all slip at some point, don't we? Important thing is that you realize you can't keep doing that and you're making some changes. If there's something that's not working for you, find what does. Sometimes we need a change to give us that boost of motivation or inspiration. You were doing really well there for awhile -- you just need to get back in the zone and you'll do fine.

I can't give up my scale. It's like an appendage at this point. But for me, it works to keep close track of my weight, to make sure I am not gaining and if I do, to make sure that I make changes to get those numbers back down again. But if you guys can do it without the scale, all the more power to you! Whatever it takes to lose the weight, right??

I was busy enough that I didn't snack at all today and I'm happy about that. I got enough protein in me at supper that I should stay away from the snacks tonight.

Today's menu:

B-drink potion, coffee
L-1/2 protein shake
D-2 burgers, kielbasa

Dh had to go back to work at 8 pm and said he may be out all night. They are upgrading telephone lines and like to do that late at night, when ppl are using the phones the least. Ds2 hasn't come home yet from the hot springs trip. So I am all alone. But I'm tired and need the break, so I don't mind. We got a lot done at the hall -- spent 3 hours putting up the decorations this afternoon. Tomorrow I will spend the day cooking & cleaning. I need to work on my costume too. I had a terrible revelation today. Ds2 is having a party with all his friends here and I am going to be coming home in costume as a freakin' TRIBAL CHIEF!! Ds2 will never be able to live this down!!

So here's the funny part about today. I borrowed this 9 ft palm tree from After Prom. Actually, one of the ladies that helped with After Prom dug it out of the store room for me. Anyway, my sorority sister spent a good 30 min huffing and puffing and blowing it up. Poor thing -- it took forever!! Then when she was almost done, she looked at it and said, "this isn't a palm tree, it's a cactus." Oh my! The lady gave me the wrong thing! I felt so bad for my sorority sister and I thought she was going to keel over, she was so out of breath. When I got home I told dh how it took her so long to blow it up and she was so out of breath, and he asks me, "why didn't you just use the air pump in the van?" I forgot we had a built-in one! So I called my sorority sister and after we stopped laughing, she told me that she will never again let me forget I have one of those in my van!!!

C, I can't believe your in-laws are such nuts!! Wow -- did you ever confront them or just ignore it? I don't know that I could deal with ppl treating me like that!

YH, glad you got to Curves today! I really miss it when I don't go. It definitely lifts my spirits.

Well ladies, guess I should call it a night here. Just love chatting with you all so much, it's hard to leave sometimes!!

Have a good night!! D

T - what is the brand of jeans you are waiting to get into ? I keep seeing these "not your daughter's jeans" on ebay and they get alot of bids.I guess they make you look 10 lbs smaller-built in tummy thing. I have jeans somewhere in a box, im sure they are small sizes but I have not worn jeans in 20 some yrs. because they are very hot for Florida-I would like to find some in a very lightweight material with some stretch. I have looked online but hard to tell. You are brave C to take the 2 pr. that fit, its not that long of a trip so you should be ok. I took 3 diff sizes of the same short on a longer cruise once and good thing, I was in the bigger ones half way into the trip.
Well, just have a grand time on the trip and take notes for us as we want a full report. If you and T are going to gauge your progress by the jeans thats great, whatever works is best ! The palm tree blow up story was too funny D-are you going to use the cactus anyway ? Would love to see you all dolled up as tribal chief I am still going to use the scale although I have not been off and on much lately because of stall with back-really screwed my month of May gung ho plan, oh well. You did great with the food D Tues. !

Today work will be horrible, I am being forced to go to a meeting with all the big wigs and be introduced as peon of the week, some stupid idea to make big wigs look good-being introduced after 22 yrs-so stupid and then they will talk for 2 hrs about crap that does not mean anything to me. I tried to get out of it but was told its mandatory and I will get written up if I refuse. I suppose ill have to wear something that fits snugly and suffer all day on top of that. Ughhhhh

Tues.
am-orange and grapefruit
lunch-salad w babybel and 1 egg
dinner-plain meatloaf and gr. beans
snack- 2-100cal snac pacs, 2-fruitis

great story on yourself D!!! Built in pump is a good idea--we have a small unit that we always carry in the trunk & it has come in handy more than once. Now we're onto the catus that came to the luau.... I'd just put it out & see if anyone commented!

Well the ducks & bunnies are in the backyard this morning. T I just have a regular backyard in a regular subdivision. I put a variety of seed out for different birds so I get a few other creatures too. There are quite a few animals that have acculmated to city life along with the rest of us The city I work in has a large population of deer & wild turkey & you see them all over. The wild turkey are a hoot. Hey D we're still waiting on your pic's

Now YH enjoy being employee of the month!! After 22yrs you deserve to be recognized! Just look at the 2hrs as a long lunch break & let your mind take a mini vacation to some place pleasant while they discuss all the boring crap. Think how it will tick off nut job that you are being honored

I haven't bought a pair of jeans w/o the 2% spandax in many years. Even when not heavy they are just so much more comfortable. Same with all the nice cotton shirts for summer--they must have that little bit of spandax. Would like to try on the jeans w/the tummy panel!

Ok off to shower for work

Congrats on person of the week, YH. Quite the honor --- enjoy it!! Like C says, it's a long lunch and won't the witch hate that you get out of work for a couple of hrs today!! I think you should make up one of those Miss America sashes and put on a tiara and walk into your office with your hips sashaying all over the place. She would die!!!

Ds2 got home from his trip sometime after 10 pm last night. I don't remember when dh got home. He called to say he was on his way but I answered the phone in my sleep. I think it was after midnight. I remember someone coming in the house but I just mumbled hello and went right back to sleep, good thing it turned out to be dh.

I did so good last night -- no snacks at all. And the scale was down this morning, which was good because it did go up after the Chinese dinner and steaks this wkd!!

I am still wearing my baggy jeans but I look terrible in them. I just can't see investing $$ in another pr till I lose more weight.

So much to do today but you know I'll be checking in on my breaks.

C, if I don't catch you later -- have a great trip and take lots of pictures. Maybe by the time you get home, I'll have figured out how to post them!

Happy Wednesday, ladies -- halfway thru the week -- we can do it!

Taking a break

I am wearing myself out with all this cooking & cleaning. I swear -- if I am not burning calories I will never clean again!!!

I made a tropical chicken dish. Browned and seasoned some small chicken tenderloins and tossed them in my crockpot with a can of fruit cocktail, pineapple chunks, mandarin oranges and a few maraschino cherries. Used the Splenda fruit as much as was available. I sprinkled sesame seeds onto it and it looks good. I'll make my strawberry-spinach salad later that includes slivered almonds and maybe I will toss some mandarin oranges in there too. Trying to make everything look like luau food if I can, but still be healthy enough that I will be able to eat it too.

Weather is like a hurricane -- fierce gusting winds. Not a day for tiki torches to stay lit and forget about ds2's bonfire unless the winds die down later. It's been perfectly gorgeous weather lately and the one day we have plans, it acts up!

Sorority sister who is playing a hula dancer held up her grass skirt yesterday and I thought to myself, geez, I could maybe fit my right thigh into it. I had to order TWO plus-size skirts to put together because there was a 1" gap with just the one. How terrible is it that I can't fit into a freakin' plus-size grass skirt??!! All the more motivation for me to lose this darn weight, that's for sure.

Hey YH!! Are you enjoying your special day?? I bet witchie-lady is just loving all the attention you are getting.

Okay, back to cleaning -- bathroom floor should be dry by now -- time to scrub sink & toilet. (I HATE cleaning!!!!!)

D and C - im ready to slap you silly - I was PEON of the week forced to go to meeting to make bigwigs look good. I took 2 xanax prior and got thru it

My super control top pantyhose arrived and the shaper, I put the pantyhose on today with the tight black pants as I figured I should not go to that meeting like I was from the hood, anyway, they did not feel as tight as 2 weeks ago. Not sure if its me or the hose. Did not try on the shaper yet.

I understand about wearing the baggy jeans D, I have some smaller clothes out but there are a size away and I dont want to buy current size. I got these neoprene shorts now and ive been rubbing sea wrap clay on me and wearing the shorts with the mud on, cheap-on ebay. , like an easy body wrap.

I was feeding the birds but they really bring on the rats here as I am on the water - the pigeons all live in the neighbors roof somewhere, we have wild parrots too. I still feed the giant lizards. They take giant dumps on the dock tho, never knew that lizards had big bowel movements

Enjoy your trip C !

D - your luau menu sounds great and have fun ! Glad the scale is moving ! You just motivated me to jump in the pool and I dont want to !!!!!!

Okay, just sitting down to cry. I took the grass skirts out of the bags and they are literally falling apart. There's raffia all over my livingroom floor. I called the company and they will give me a credit but it doesn't help me for the party! So I called my sorority sister and she suggested taking the grass table skirt off the luau table for me to wear. OH GOD. Now I am wearing tableskirts. She said we might have to wrap it around me several times and I told her that sadly, we probably won't have to.

YH, sorry we jumped to conclusions about you being employee of the week. Thought it was an honor, not a punishment!!

Yes, lizards do make big poops, don't they?? Ds1 has a big iguana and ds2's friends were fooling around, shooting each other with nerf guns when one of the styrofoam bullets went into the cage. The iguana immediately gobbled it up. I was a nervous wreck because the tip was rubber and I thought the poor thing was going to have a blockage so I fed it olive oil for 2 wks straight till it finally pooped out the nerf bullet, completely intact!

Okay I am talking too much when I still have so much to do!!!!

I know, I know -- way too much posting today -- sorry!!

But just had to share that I am saved! I remembered that FIVE yrs ago ds1 had bought a grass skirt to wear to a luau the high school put on. Darned if I found it in his closet! I am so excited. It not only fit me but it isn't even a plus size!!!!

Okay I'll shut up now.

OMG I can't stop laughing
Dh thinks I have lost it & really need this vacation!
Between the iguana pooping nurf bullets & the grass tablecloth I am losing it
How on earth did you remember that you already had a grass skirt D??? Who owns 2 grass skirts I am such a "not pack rat" that baby would have been gone from the back of the closet 4yrs ago.

And then YH---we so got your meaning confused---here you were just being forced to go to the meeting cause someone had to & we thought you were being employee of the month.... Better wait on the new shaper stories as I don't think my sides can take anymore!!!

So great to come in to such belly laughs!! Thank you thank you
I have to go--can't stop laughing enough to think & type

I must agree w/C here, gals--these posts read like a sit-com! I swear, Y and D, your escapades ought to be written up and sent in to the networks--hilarious!

But laughs aside, congratulations are in order--D, on the scale being down and Y, on the black pants fitting looser than 2 wks ago! Yay!

Y, my fancy jeans are Elie Tahari's. I do like them because they are lightweight, but dark-colored. But they are not as forgiving in the waist and hips as my regular jeans, so even tho I can squeeze into a 14 in my everyday jeans, the 14 Elie's are going to take quite awhile. I saw the not your daughter's tummy tuck jeans online thru Nordstrom's and have been thinking about trying a pair. If they go on sale I may do it. All my jeans have to have spandex in them or I can't wear them.

I had the problem with the rats eating the bird seed here once. I was outdoors one night, and just like in a horror flick, I saw the silhouette of a giant rat scurrying across the top of the fence in my backyard--Creepy! Needless to say, we did not put any more birdseed out for a long time.

My scale is in our garage, and I'm not planning to toss it because I couldn't possibly lift it--it's an old-fashioned dr's scale and weighs a ton! I don't know how long I will actually be able to keep myself away from it since I am addicted, but every time I go out there and am disappointed I feel like giving up and bingeing. So this way if I don't know, maybe I will not go off the diet.

D, so glad you found the grass skirt. Your menu sounds fabulous! Maybe you can sneak into the house or change at the hall before you come home, although I bet your son won't care a bit--it sounds like your family is quite social and happy-go-lucky, and he loves you a lot! Hope you don't wear yourself out too much doing all this, but it does sound like you're having a fab time! You're doing so great sticking on your food plan while doing all these things, too!

C, I guess you are probably going to bed early tonight, so maybe you won't see this, but just wanted to say have a great trip, and, uh, maybe you should take along locks for all your suitcases! Sounds like visiting these folks will be quite an adventure! We'll be looking forward to hearing all about it! Good luck!

I did good yesterday--without the scale, and trying on my jeans twice a day, I think I am eating less. Went to the gym, rode the bike after dinner.

B - egg yolk, 2 walnuts, spinach
L - caesar salad w/ahi tuna
S - 2 pecans
D - halibut, veg stir-fry (bell pepper, onion, gr beans, zucchini, mushrooms,
S - cheese, almonds tomato, carrot)

Take care, gals! T.

Ok I am under control now....

T do you think you could try the protein powder? Not all the greens & extras that D & YH adds to theirs, just the
plain drink. I've been thinking about getting some when I get back. Mainly cause they have both talked about how much fuller they feel when they drink it once a day. Thought I could do bkft & lunch, then late afternoon drink it & maybe eat a lighter dinner & not have to snack at nite. Would get the choc I'm sure. I know when I eat a protein bar it really satisfies me for a number of hours. Was thinking the drink would be less calories & less cost over the bars. Just an idea since you & I struggle more than they do. Congrats on doing the bike. And the scale...well that one doesn't lie that's for sure!
What brand powder are you two using?? My one client drinks it each morning but I'm pretty sure that theirs is expensive like their prepackaged meals....LOL!!
I've never heard of that designer....guess I'm giving myself away LOL! I know Jones New York etc. I know you can also be measured & have your jeans made. Wow think how great those would fit. And actually when you think of the number of years you wear a pair of jeans it might not be all that expensive over the long haul.
Don't want to know about any rats at my feeders at nite--
ignorance is bliss ya know! Love my feeders & don't want to take 'em down. Or have nitemares about big ole rats sitting on my patio relaxing while I'm sleeping!!
Oh T it's my in laws (motherinlaw fatherinlaw sisterinlaw) not the cousins. They are all perfectly normal. Wouldn't be visiting them if they were dh's folks LOL!! Them I was stuck with, but cousins like that you could avoid. These people are very nice & treat us like visiting royalty when we come--some of the same folks that were at my place this easter, except we had to let dh's pitb mom & sister join us then.
Wish we were taking laptop as I don't want to miss all the fascinating stories for 5 days

Home again -- finally!! I did take off my grass skirt and headress before I came home (yes, I had a headress !! Dh had gone to New Orleans if you remember and he had brought me home this feathered headress that looked just like what a polynesian chief would wear -- it was perfect! I also wore a tiki head necklace, and flowered wristlets and anklets & the infamous grass skirt). Anyway, still had my "fierce-looking" makeup on but ds2 had warned his friends and they all got a big laugh out of it. I didn't get home till almost 11 pm and so there weren't that many kids left by then anyway since most of them are going on an FFA field trip in the morning and leaving at 5 am. The kids were so good and all jumped up and unpacked my van so I didn't have to carry anything in other than my purse, which I appreciated so much because I had a TON of boxes and bags to bring into the house. Ds2 said about 15 kids were here earlier and dh grilled them burgers and made them those pizza roll snacks in the oven, along with the pepperoni, cheese & crackers, chips, cookies, donut holes and other goodies I had left for them. The wind was too strong for a bonfire but we have an elementary school across our little dirt road so the kids went there & played basketball for a little while, then came home and watched movies and played XBox 360. They are a real good group of kids and I was kind of disappointed that I missed the party!

The luau went over amazingly! We laughed so hard. Ppl really got into dressing up. We had one gal that was playing a scuba diving instructor and she came fully dressed in a wetsuit with snorkel, mask & fins!

Everyone was full of compliments -- food was delicious -- decorations were great -- game was so fun to play. I hope I'm not boring you by going into too much detail here. But I really worked hard to get the feeling of a real luau. We had Hawaiian music playing in the background. Ppl were greeted at the door with a name tag that I had printed up with their name in Hawaiian and they all had their flowered lei's that I had passed out at the last mtg. We had a table set up with appetizers and drinks. We had straws with flowered parasols attached in the glasses. I made a pitcher of my version of Mai Tai's, which had pineapple juice & orange juice, rum & triple sec and a pineapple & cherry on a toothpick. Another sorority sister made a Tropical Rum punch. And we had a non-alcoholic peach ice tea. We served strawberries stuffed with home-made whipped cream laced with Amaretto. Mmmm. And a huge veggie platter with 2 different kinds of veggie dips served in hollowed-out red bell peppers. For our luau dinner, I had made the Hawaiian chicken and strawberry-spinach salad. The other gals made a tropical pork dish, steamed veggies & rice, and Hawaiian bread. We had a dessert made with Twinkies, bananas, whipped cream and vanilla pudding, looked very tropical but I was good and didn't partake. I kept to the meat & veggies only, along with my own special carb-free Mai Tai mix.

We had beach balls strewn about on the floor. Our tables were decorated with seashells, loose flowers and little sea creatures. I even had beach-scented candles lit, that we put in tiki torches around the room. We used masking tape and made a "chalk outline" of the "victim" and since he was supposed to be a private detective, we had a toy gun, badge and pr of handcuffs laying inside the outline. So funny. Those of us playing the murder suspects had booklets to read our dialogue from and we played a cd that told us when to go onto the next round and so forth. I had decorated 7 coffee cans to cast our ballots in, six of which were for the suspects and the 7th was for Best Costume. At the end of the night, everyone voted and then the cd announced who the murderer was. What fun -- only one gal guessed correctly so she got the prize, an ice tea jug with watermelons on it and matching glasses. I almost won best costume -- lost by 2 votes to the "swimsuit model." I had lent her a blonde Marilyn Monroe wig and she wore a bathing suit with this little Tinkerbell cover-up and a huge pr of dark sunglasses. Very out of character for her because she is a quiet, conservative gal, so we all got a kick out of how "hoochie-mama" she looked!! She won a chip & dip set.

The gals chipped in and got me this gorgeous wooden frame that is like a shadow box and it has a poem about a True Friend on it. Just a thank you for being their president. This was our last formal mtg of the year. We start up again in September, with me president for a 2nd term. I will meet once a month with my Executive Board during June, July & August, but nothing formal till the fall so things will slow down a little for me now. Ok, enough about that. Hope you skipped ahead if you got bored!!

C, the protein powder I got is called Chocolite Protein. I bought it from Netrition.com. It cost $12.99 for a canister. It says 2 scoops with 8 oz of water at only 150 calories, 3 carbs, but I've only been using 1 scoop in 8 oz the past few days and it is still so filling at only 75 calories and 1.5 carbs. Very very filling. To the point where I don't even want a snack. It says right on the canister, "great for all diets including WW, SB & Atkins." I don't use the greens blend everyday, just when I know I am home and near a bathroom. But the choc powder doesn't have that affect on me, so I can drink that everyday, no matter what my plans are. It says it strengthens the immune system, so might be something good for you too, T. I definitely recommend it. It says there are 11 servings in the canister but like I said, I am cutting it in half and it works great so I am getting 22 days out of it for $12.99, which is a lot cheaper than buying 22 premixed canned shakes or protein bars.

C, don't ask me why ds1 held onto that grass skirt all these yrs but I totally forgot he had it till the last minute. Ds2 came home from school and we went into ds1's room to look for it, but he just moved back from college so he had totes and bins all over the place. I almost gave up but there, peeking out of his closed closet door, I saw 3 little green strands and realized I struck gold!! I was so happy not to have to wear that darn tableskirt -- how humiliating would that have been???!!!! Made me think of that skit that Carol Burnett put on yrs ago, making fun of how Scarlett O'Hara had made a dress out of draperies. Only when Carol Burnett did the skit, she left the curtain rod in the dress and it was hysterical.

Wow, can't believe I am so chatty tonight! All day actually. Oh well, had to give C her fill of laughs today and I guess she will have to wait till next week to hear the rest.

I have to tell you YH, I was laughing so loud and hard when you said you were going to slap me and C silly. Just cracked me up on how much we misunderstood you and got carried away with it.

T, your menu looks great. Walnuts are supposed to be very good for Diabetics.

Oh I better stop and get to bed. Have to wake ds2 up at 4:45 am to go on his field trip and here it is after 1 am already.

Have a great night ladies!! D

Have a great time C ! The brand of whey I use is Optimim Nutrition Whey Gold, 120 cals. 3 carbs 24g protein. I use vanilla and the taste is so so. I grilled the guy in the store for what its worth on all the diff. powders and that weight loss was primary concern, watch the ingredients as alot of them are for the bodybuilders. I still think I feel fuller on the Slimfast Optima than this stuff but drinking 2 of those a day not cheap either-I also heard there is one plan called Dr. Tabor's where you drink the 2 shakes a day and people are losing weight fast. Google it - may be pricy tho. I agree-if we could drink 2 shakes a day and have one meal the weight would come off faster, thought has crossed my mind. If I could have have one shake for dinner and no snacks that would be good

We have descendents of Willard here with the rats, they sit on the railings, fence, and like to nest by the grill, I always bang the grill cover because the princess neighbor gal opened it to cook and a big one jumped out and she flipped out and was screamin like a banshee, quite humerous as she is such a princess, real bold too, they sit and stare at ya. But none of us have them in our condo's, thank goodness.

Whew D, glad you did not have to wear the tablecloth and fitting into young men's clothing is a good sign ! You have to fill us in on the event ! Good thing you still have your memory on that skirt.

I can tell when I wear bottoms now that I am not comfortable unless they have some spandex, even if they fit, alot of my stuff is so old in the boxes that when I get to them im sure the spandex phase was not around then. Most of my stuff is all cotton because of the heat, I did buy a few tops in this climate cool material in the athletic dept. and they are actually pretty good at keeping the sweat off you. You could put an old sheet over the scale T and pretend its a ghost for the time being- a friendly one like Casper. Now I have to go check out your Elie jeans Now you ride a regular bike ?

Wed.
am-red grapes and cantelope
lunch-oatmeal w blueberries and grape tomatoes
dinner- WW frozen entree (sirloin w veggies) - geez they are small portions
snack-1 fruiti and small bowl of popcorn, few quaker cakes

exercise-22 laps in pool

I think we were posting at the same time earlier D. Well the luau sounds like it was a big hit - you are a good writer - ya know you could make money doing these events ! Glad you had fun. Well your protein mix is better than the one I got it looks like, when i use it I only use one scoop also. I got a 5 pound can so it will last awhile. Ughh...back to work.

It's amazing how chatty one can get after imbibing in a few Mai Tai's. Sorry about that ladies!!

I was up before 4 am getting Ds2 off on his field trip. Finally fell back asleep after dh left for work at 7 am and slept till 9:30. Wow that is very late for me. But I was really tired!

I tried my shake later in the day and I didn't eat as much for supper and didn't snack at all later. I'm going to try that again because the snacking at night is what's holding me back, I'm sure. I like the choc supreme flavor and am going to order more today so I don't run out at all. My biggest concerns were the weight loss and low carb aspect and this powder covers both. Those Slim Fast shakes never really suppressed my hunger, moreso just replaced a meal for me, plus they are high in carbs. This powder I bought is 90% whey protein isolate (24g protein) so I imagine that's what is filling me up?? It also says something about the fact that it burns the fat as fuel instead of storing it so it aids in weight loss, promotes a healthy digestive system without the gas/bloating and strengthens the immune system. Sounds good to me. I think my can is only 1 lb though. How much does your's cost, YH?

So T, with your scale being in the garage...does that mean you stripped down like the rest of us to weigh in?? Just wondering what the mailman would think if he peeked in your garage window.

My scale moved down again. Just a little. But enough to encourage me to stay on track for the rest of the week. Hopefully.

Yesterday's menu:

B-sm pc kielbasa, coffee
L-protein powder
D-chicken, pork, carrots, salad, strawberries (all very sm portions)

Have a lovely day ladies and next time I have a few drinks, someone pls shut me up!!

D

D - you are not too chatty, I enjoy your posts so dont stop. Your protein mix is better than what I have I think, the next time I will try yours, I cant remember what I paid for the stuff I have. I was debating on Curves today and there was a detour so I did not go - bad girl - I feel weird today as I doubled the prozac dose and very thirsty. I would love a real Coke or Pepsi. Then I could not stop thinking about a bucket of original KFC.......I am home now and I just plan on watching dvd's, its raining fierce but we sure need it, the grass is all brown. I am alone so thats good and not cooking feel very lazy. So I will make some eggs or there is one hamburger patty. Watched a good dvd last nite if your into this type of film " Hitler - The Rise of Evil ".

I think I am having the same kind of day as you, YH. Raining here too and dh said he will be home for supper but then has to go back to work again, probably all night like last time. Ds2 is on his field trip till Saturday and ds1 doesn't come home till tomorrow night. But I am enjoying the alone-time. Catching up on emails with my 60's music blasting. Maybe I will watch a movie tonight. Yes, I love history movies and books, etc. That sounds like a good one. I should re-join Netflix and get dh to move the dvd player into our bedroom so I can watch movies when he is not home. He & I don't have the same taste in movies at all. He likes those slapstick comedies. I don't mind a good comedy but it has to be mature, not silly, for me to enjoy it. Historical events are much more interesting to me, especially dramatic ones like that Hitler movie.

Oh I meant to tell you that I had my first diet pops -- one yesterday and one the day before -- since February. Gave them up for Lent and never did go back to them. I think they make me hungrier so it's best I cut them out. But ds1 had left some Diet Pepsi's in the refrig and even though I'm more of a Diet Coke drinker, boy did they taste good on those hot days. I think I need to give myself something like that for a treat once in awhile. Then I won't go off plan and cheat on something non-legal. I try so hard to keep my "cheats" to over-eating on legal things -- at least that is better than overindulging on pizza or some other yummy treat, I guess.
Pretty pathetic when a diet pop is your cheat, isn't it??

I think I've gotten a second wind about losing weight. I saw some pictures of me in that grass skirt last night and darnit if I didn't look like the west end of a football field. Just fueled my motivation even more. I went online and ordered some more protein powder and will drink my potion shortly so that it hopefully will carry me through the evening. I skipped breakfast and kept to a small lunch and hopefully will do the same for supper. I think tonight will be ok with snacking since all my guys will be gone and I won't have to watch anyone else eat.

Hope you will level out with the meds YH. Be careful -- maybe it's good you are staying home if you are feeling "off" with the prozac. Can't see you getting a good workout at Curves if you are falling off the machines. I couldn't go to Curves today either. My feet were hurting badly this morning. My MS acts up when I do too much sitting/standing at one time and I was on the go a little too much this week thus far. Talked to friend and she said she hopes we can go tomorrow, she'll call me in the morning to confirm. We went on Monday so if we go tomorrow, that will be 2 days this week. Maybe now that our schedules are slowing down a bit, we will be able to get a 3rd day in now and then. I think it is helping me -- losing inches but also motivates me to keep striving for weight loss each week.
Biggest motivation of all is you guys, that's for sure!! I don't think I'd have gotten this far without you all. Thank you-thank you-thank you!!

KFC - now I don't think that is motivating me, best to stop thinking about that one!

P.S. I type over 100 words per minute, maybe that is why my posts are so long?? I know it can't be because I am a big-mouth!!

D
