Beautiful Sunday

Woooooooo Hoooooooooooo!!!! D You should be so proud of yourself!! That is fantastic!! To be in the 2's! I know that is such a boost! We are all so proud of you. Gives me so much inspiration! My husband and I were married 8 years this past Feb. We went for a great steak dinner too! It was delish. That is probably my favorite thing!

The countertops look great. My DH is even impressed! He came in last night from work and was blown away. He never gets excited about house stuff, just says "if momma ain't happy, nobody's happy"! But even he was excited. The new faucet is so cool too! I am going to see if my brother can help out today so we can get hooked back up to the water. We had to wait 24 hours for the sink to set. That way dh won't have to hook up at 8:00 tonight! It was definetly worth it!

We are about 150 miles from MX. Don't go too often. There are a lot of problems down along the border for about the last year and a half. Drug lord fighting, actually trickles in our country, kidnappings and shootings . We do go to Progresso once in a while, I have a lot of friends who go for meds and dental work. But that is about the only place they haven't had horrible things happening. They have been able to keep it fairly "safe" there.

Our grandson is due May the 30th, but I seriously don't think she will make it that long. She is already getting milk in. This is my dh 1st blood grandchild and he tries to act like it's no big deal, but I think it is just his annoyance with the whole situation. It is getting kind of exciting, I must admit!

Where do you live D? Still snowing ? That is so crazy............we are already starting to get that high humidity and hot weather!. I am so happy it even rained here, we have been so dry. No flooding or leaks or problems except a little puddling along the street where the kids park!!

I have not made it to the track yet. I may try this morning since it is still quite early here. The sun is just comming up now. I know it is a matter of just doing it! I am so lazy when it comes to exercise, but as you all are proof, it is good for you! If C can do it, so can I ! ( I am so proud of you!) Where are you C ? We are all anxious to here about your tests!

I am not going to overindulge today at the lodge. I have been getting mentally prepared for this journey. The drinks will be the tough part! I cheated and bought store stuff for the food part. They had these great looking frozen spirals (stuffed sliced tortillas) and all you have to do is defrost. How simple is that. I didn't have a kitchen sink so I figured it would be acceptable!

T- you look great for 59!! Never would have thought that by your picture! Actually you all look good for our age group! Who new 50's would look so good! That means 60 will even look better with the weight off!! Sounds like your B'day lunch with the girls was nice. We are having one next Saturday, thank goodness we aren't going for Mexican food. We're going to a place that has salads, steak, chicken and burgers. I already know I can stay on track there, lots of choices! BTW bangers was something I had never heard of them until a resturant opened here that sells Bangers and mash! Haven't been there yet, I saw the menu and had a hard time shelling out 15-17.00 for sausage! We just do then at home for that price! The gym and buffet sounds like a great place, eat and work it off or work it off then eat!

YH Glad to hear bf is comming around! Sounds like you had a great day relaxing around the house after all that exercise! Is skinny girl back yet? Love the name........... wish someone would call me that and then if they did, I would have to smack them Maybe someday...............

I am off to boil eggs for the week and make some Rev. Rolls so I can have burgers and sandwiches for lunch this week. I might even make some Taco soup. It is induction friendly and I really do like a hot lunch. I hope everyone has a wonderful relaxing day!

Happy Sunday, y'all.

K, I noticed you were in Texas. Hello from North Texas area.

T, and all, so good to be back. I have lost a total of 18 lbs, have atleast 21 to go. That is my first goal. I am short w/ small bones unfortunely, so every extra lb looks like 3-5lb. I sometimes envy those of you tall and bigger boned folks. I can't believe you are 59 either, you look great.

Since I am feeling better today, I am going to try body flex and a short callenetic's tape for abdomen/waist.

Otherwise, we are staying home today to rest, (usually church, etc) and catch up on stuff around the house let go last week when sick.

It's rainy, humid, today, but actually a bit cooler for us.

Menu: planned:
eggs, bacon, few grapes
leftover homemade chicken veggie soup
baked chicken tonight, brocoli, green salad.

Good morning ladies! It was so great to see all these enthusiastic posts!! Just what I needed this morning.

Our dinner last night was ok. Food was very pricey but good so can't complain too much. We had NY strip steaks. Dh had hash browns with his but I stuck to the salad bar, which included cottage cheese, so I made believe that was my potato. Service was terrible. Having to ask why people who were seated after us were eating before us, begging for a cup of coffee and then having to ask for cream/sweetener too, that kind of thing. Won't go there again. Got in a little spat with dh on the way home because he thought I shouldn't have left a tip. Well geez, I asked him THREE times, what do you think, and if he's going to say "I don't care" then darnit, you better not care when I leave something!! So that kind of soured the end of the evening. I'm a grudge-holder. Dh is one that forgives and forgets in 10 seconds. So he got the speech today, probably similar to YH's, and he's full of apologies and on his best behavior too.

Yesterday's menu:

B-2 string cheese, 2 pc beef jerkey, coffee
S-3 mini dill pickles
L-kielbasa, lettuce w/low-carb dressing, bran cracker w/soy p'nut butter
D-steak, salad, cottage cheese, coffee w/cream
S-4 sm pcs sugar-free candy, 1 string cheese, 1 babybel lite (stress eating when we got home!)

K, I have given up on ordering alcoholic drinks when we're out because they raise my sugar levels too much. Is it possible to bring a mixer into your lodge? It sounds like such a relaxed atmosphere so maybe they would let you. If so, check out Netrition.com's Baja Bob's mixers. Zero carbs and zero calories and they're around $5-$6 each so not too pricey. I bought a margarita mix and it's pretty good. I plan to buy a mai tai mix and bring it with me to my luau party. Most alcohols are zero carbs, and not too many calories, it's the mixers and the beer that are loaded with carbs. Just a suggestion. I hope you have fun today! What do your countertops look like? When we moved to this house 6 yrs ago (was dh's childhood home that his mom left him when she passed away), we renovated and put in all new countertops, linoleum, carpeting, enlarged the kitchen, added on a bedroom and bathroom, etc. What fun I had decorating!

More snow last night. This snowfall stuck so we have about 1/2" on the ground this morning. I'm in the panhandle of Nebraska. Crazy temps here. Usually we go right from winter to summer and then back again to winter. Very little spring or autumn weather for us. You watch, soon it will hit over 100 degrees and I'll be complaining about how hot it is. We live in a very dry climate so the ranchers are happy when it snows because any moisture is better than none.

YH, glad you got such a great workout in the pool. You're really going gung-ho with the exercise!! I'm sure you worked off all your snacks, especially with those big hand gloves and zoomer fins. The visual is quite comical. But I'm sure it gives you quite the workout too, so good for you!

T, I live with hunters. Dh and ds1 love to go hunting -- deer, quail, dove, rabbit, etc. Ds2 doesn't like hunting but he will eat the deer steaks and jerkey dh and ds1 make. Me? I stand firm -- my food has to have a price tag on it or this lady ain't having any of it!! Your convention hotel sounds great. I actually like a buffet much better because then I can load up on the good things and skip the bad things altogether.

SC, sorry to hear you were sick but glad you are back with us! Your menu looks good. I'm tall and used to be able to hide my weight well. But let's face it, when you're 300 lbs, there's no hiding anything except for wrinkles! I think when I get down to the low 200's, that's when I'll be able to hide it a little better. But -- thinking positive here -- would be nice to get down to the 100's and not have to hide anything at all!!

K, I made some of your Taco soup awhile back. You had posted the recipe once. It was awesome!!! Dh and ds1 loved it too. Save me a trip thru back pages and post the recipe again if you have some time this week??

How exciting for dh (and you) awaiting the arrival of your new grandson. May is such a nice time of year, the weather will be perfect to go out for long walks with the baby carriage. You and dd can walk off the lbs together while enjoying that adorable little baby!

C, hope you are having a wonderful wkd with dh. Maybe another nature walk??

Well I am really rambling this morning, aren't I? Sorry 'bout that!

Have a happy Sunday gals!! D

Hi SC
Didn't mean to leave you out last post, I just started rambling on and on!

D-This is off of Linda Sue's web site, she has lot's of good thing to try. Usually when I go out I drink Vodka and Diet Pepsi so the carbs are 0 but it still does stall me. The counter tops are a beige backround with gold and dark brownish or even cranberry and black, lots of color! I think I am going with a dark backsplash to really make them pop. I haven't decided yet. Will have to make the trip with a piece to see what I like.

The taco soup recipe

Happy Sunday, Ladies--

Sounds like everyone is rarin' to go here lately!

D, glad you had a good meal, but too bad the service was so lousy! Also too bad you had a little tiff on your anniversary... but isn't that the way it often happens! Been there! so, two of our guys had to have the speech this weekend! I once read it is the job of women to civilize men, how true that is! And congrats D on just sticking to steak and salad bar! And double congrats on only eating legal snacks while feeling upset! That is superb! Hope that snow leaves soon--you need another opportunity to wear your capris, huh? I ROFL'd re your comment on your meat needing to have a price tag in order for you to eat it! I have to say, I don't like to think where it comes from either!

YH, congrats on swimming all those laps! You probably burned off any extra carbs you ate watching TV and snacking. Also, congrats on passing up the McD's--that's not an easy thing to do! I have never heard of the Moon picture--will add it to my Netflix list. Glad bf improved after he got the speech. They all need that once in a while! Nice he will go out to movies and dinner w/you, too!

K, the counters sound gorgeous! We can tell you are having a delightful time picking out the decor! Thanks for the taco soup recipe; it does sound delicious. Yes, having a new baby in May will be such a nice time of year to go strolling! Incentive to get out and walk! What were the spiral tortillas stuffed with? Have fun at the lodge tonight, and we'll see you bright and early for the start on the diet tomorrow!!!

SC, glad you are feeling much better! Congrats on losing 18 lbs. so far--that's awesome! Almost halfway there! I sympathize with the difficulties of losing weight being short; it's very tough! Not that it's easy for anyone, though...

C, we hope you had a great weekend, and are feeling good!

I did not do great yesterday and my weight was back up this morning, but I am doing good today, counting carbs again. It looks like I really have to do this on a regular basis and not eat any fruit, not even berries for now. I re-read DANDR and have gotten motivated to go back and try very hard to get going on this! And thanks to all you who complimented my picture on not looking 59--yeah, it's blurry; I naturally put it up because it makes me look younger... Y'all have a nice evening, now! T.

Sun.
am-yogurt and 1 sl. turkey breast
lunch-blackberries
dinner-prk roast and green beans
snacks-goldfish,few pretzels, fruiti, lc icecream sand.
exercise-treadmill at gym and am/pm Callanetics tape

S3 and skinny gal showed up at 600am to sleep all day so I hightailed outta here at 800 and went to the gym, walgreens, and grocery store. BF worked 4 hrs. He was home by 400 and had dinner fairly early and watched a movie " War Dance" -good.

Sorry the steakhouse stunk-don't you just hate that-pay all that money for lousy service and then the tip - glad you did good there with the food.

What is the bodyflex SC - is that your cardio-I don't hide my weight well either-I am 5'4" but I think the Callanetics is really helping with the inches, you should post a pic if you can.

Im glad dh noticed the countertops and hope you did ok at the lodge with the food. Today is the big start day for you I would get the dental done in MX too if I lived that close.

Glad you got the book out again T - so you think its the fruit. Geez-I eat so much fruit but then again I am of doing WW modified and a pc. of fruit is only 1 pt. for me - I can't eat much meat on WW. Fruit and veggies.

I keep forgetting to restock the slimfast - that really did help to curb the appetite. The case of protein drink I got does not curb as well as the slimfast-then reading a book at the gym on osteoporosis that said protein ng for bones-need to up my calcium intake - yep - all that info can make you crazy, so then I bought some calcium supplements. I am hoping to build some bone with Curves. My tests are all scheduled at the hospital on 5-7, don't know how the labs turned out - curious about the choles. since my diet changed dramatically.

Hello ladies!

YH, so you escaped the drama yesterday -- lucky you! Good exercising once again. I was wondering about the Slimfast. Haven't seen it on your menus since the hot one. I'll be curious to see how your labs turned out too since you've been eating so healthy! I had blood drawn on Friday for my A1C blood sugar levels. I'm thinking it should come back really low since I've been cutting out so much of the carbs and sugars.

T, good luck starting induction today -- that seems to work best for you and I know once you put your mind to it, the lbs will come off!

K, today is your big start day too, woo-hoo! I hope you will post your menus. I am running out of ideas. Did you get your revolution rolls made? Thanks for the taco soup recipe. That's the one I made and it was so yummy! Those countertops sound gorgeous. I did a navy & white kitchen. Wanted something dramatic so I went for the dark countertops and lighter backsplash. I love interior decorating -- it's the cleaning I hate!

Our snow was gone by yesterday afternoon and it was so warm that we cooked supper on the grill. Such crazy weather.

Yesterday's menu:

B-coffee
L-2 string cheese, almonds
S-1 babybel lite, 4 sm pcs sugar-free candy
D-2 grilled pork chops, cabbage soup
S-3 sl provolone cheese, 1 flatbread, pork rinds

Off to Curves this morning. I love starting my week out with that. Always motivates me to do better and makes me feel so good!

Glad to see we're all getting geared up for the start of a brand new week. Here's to a successful one! D

Hi, Gals--

Looks like you got a great start to your week, D, going to Curves, and so did you YH getting out early and going to the gym!

Y, it amazes me how you can just eat something like blackberries for lunch, and D, how you can only have coffee for breakfast! No wonder you are losing so fast--I wake up so hungry and eat breakfast then am starving by lunch! I have not been so hungry yesterday and today tho since I started back on very low carb, and no more fruit. It's so great, Y that you eat mostly fruits and veggies; it's so healthy for you!

I bet you both will see good results from your lab tests from the change in diet. My glucose has been lower the last couple of days and I hope it goes down even more, cause I'm really hoping the neuropathy will go away if I can keep them really low.

D, glad the snow left. How fun to grill outdoors, especially with your beautiful view! Does dh do the grilling or do you? Pork chops sound yummy!

K, did you start to get back on track today?
SC, hope things are going well for you.
C, hope you are OK!

Yesterday's menu:

B - egg yolk, sausage, spinach
L - Greek salad, grilled lamb skewer, lc choc
S - lunch meat, almonds
D - strip steak, green beans, zucchini
S - string cheese, almonds
Walked 20 min., rode bike 10 min.

Nite-nite, everyone! T.

Good morning,

Glad you got back on the induction T, I think that will work for you. You cannot eat egg whites ? Yay on the exercise. How did it go at Curves D and your Monday ? Is dh better with the tooth ? Hope you are ok C ! And hello K and SC. K-how was your start day ?

I force myself to eat the fruit and have the drink potion in the am and that is around 1000am,then my lunch around 100,then off at 200 during the work week. I am not hungry in the am except when on vacation, then I love big breakfasts. Everything you read says have a breakfast and I force it in hopes of being better with the evening snacks, I would be fine just drinking coffee but eliminating the breakfast did not help me with any weight loss in the past. Felt lousy Monday and today will be another bad day - sleep again- on the Ambien CR 12.5 trial now and it is no good. I figured the controlled release would help with waking so early but a big no.
When i got home from work Monday I made myself go in the pool, did 25 laps with just fins, felt better then - decided i must buy slimfast and went to target-bought the target version " compare to optima brand ". Your right D, my slimfast vanished-maybe skinny gal drank it

Mon.
am-pineapple and cantelope - drink potion
lunch-kashi puffed cereal w blackberries and lf milk, tomato and cuke.
dinner - WW chicken frozen meal
snacks- popcorn, 2 fruities, 10 animal crackers.

I really need to get off the crap snacks at nite, the exercise to burn these is really alot for these stupid snacks. Its a big silly ritual for me with the tv.

Such frustration this morning. I had a long post all set and just as I was about to hit submit....my internet went down. Of course it is dh that is in charge of that so I called him at the office and he said they were working on it. Then I had to wait for 30 min before it came back up. Ugh. So here we go again....

Another gorgeous day here! Think we will grill out again tonight. Dh does the grilling --- gives me a break from cooking and really, things just taste so much better to me on the grill.

K, you have me thinking about tomatoes now. I love them fresh from the garden! I am looking forward to lots of tomatoes in a couple of months -- dh plants a huge garden every year. Never thought of tomatoes as something bad, though. Are they not on Atkins? Of course I had to look up their properties now that you said that. One thick ½” slice is only 6 calories and 1 carb so that doesn’t seem bad at all. Unless you are eating a whole big tomato??? You did great on your 1st day back and good that you posted so you stay on plan today.

YH, I think skinny gal must be sneaking your Slimfasts --- that’s why she is so skinny! You get off work at 2 pm? Did I read that right? That is wonderful, esp. living in Florida with all those nice temps. You can run your errands and still have time for a swim in the pool in the afternoons! Sorry the sleeping meds didn't work last night. I am having trouble with the night-time snacking too. I need the willpower to just give it up altogether. Last night dh was in tremendous tooth pain (still -- his appt isn’t till Monday) so I stayed up later than normal. Ended up snacking at 11 pm, which I definitely didn’t need!! I wasn’t hungry or craving anything -- just bored.

Yesterday’s menu:

B-coffee
L-salad with diced skinless chicken
S-sm pc sugar-free candy
D-beef roast, carrots & onions, lettuce w/low-carb dressing
S-pork rinds, 2 sm pcs sugar-free candy
Late night snack-leftover pork chop, almonds

T, I used to eat breakfast every morning -- scrambled eggs & spinach -- but if I eat breakfast, I find myself wanting a snack before lunchtime. For some reason, it just makes me hungrier. Plus, on the days I go to Curves, I meet my friend at 9:30 am so I don’t have time to cook breakfast. It hasn’t seemed to hurt my weight loss so far by skipping it, so we'll see. Your menu looks great! And all that exercise! I know that’s a struggle for you -- but I bet it helps your weight loss this week. Keep up the good work!!

YH, my friend stops and talks so much at Curves and is a such a slow-poke, that I find myself finishing up my 3 rotations a good 10 min or more before her. Rather than do 4 rotations, which I think would be too much for me, I do some Callanetics while I am waiting for her. Most people do stretching after their Curves rotations anyway, so it doesn’t look odd for me to be standing there doing my thing. I do the one for the neck and the one for the flab under the arms. I am going to watch the tape again today to see if there is another easy one I can do while waiting on her to finish up.

My sorority is washing the mural this afternoon since it was too cold to do it on Friday. There are 14 of us in our club but I doubt everyone will help today.

C, where are you hiding? I hope you are feeling ok and just been too busy to post. We miss you!

Well I better hit submit before I lose this post too! Happy day ladies!! D

Lab results

P.S. Got my lab results yesterday. Three months ago my A1C blood sugar levels were 6.1. Now they are 5.3. That's a good drop. The nurse was so excited that I got them that low PLUS am losing weight.

I think you are on to something D, I am not hungry until I eat the am fruit then I want lunch immediately. I am so happy those blood sugars are down for you ! Yes, I get off at 200pm but I start at 530am - its wonderful-I asked to start earlier but they said no as I would not have a babysitter long enough. I get most of my appts. done, etc. without having to use sick or vacation time. Thats funny about your friend at Curves - 4xs would be too much but glad you are doing a few Callanetics. I do the same thing after - a couple stretches and then the hip/butt and abs. Just got back from Curves and did some Callanetics too....they gave me a sample of a shake mix they are selling-Juice Plus mlm. They sell Curves clothes there too and push that also. The janitor who roams the bldg. asked me if I was ok as HE noticed my weight loss - gee- a guy noticed The wearing of baggy clothes worked for a long time Congrats on your Start Day K ! Tomatoes - they are good for alot of things - the lycopene is great - I would think you could eat mounds of tomatoes. That is so great you have a garden D !!! Not sure what im making or not for dinner - have not seen s3 since Sunday - tired of throwing out food - BF dont care. I contemplated the thought of completely eliminating the snacks too but could we actually do that, I would have to stay out of the bedroom and tv and have nowhere to go but out My Callanetics class is cancelled tonite so thats good because I would not have made it - hopefully I will sleep tonite.

How is your day going T ? I hope C is ok.

Hi, y'all,

We were so busy at work yesterday, I came home and rested. I am finally feeling better.

Y, Body flex is sort of an aerobic breathing /yoga like tape that will really get your heart rate up and tone you up. Greer Childers is the creator, she has a website, BodyFlex Official Website for Body Flex - Your Inch Loss Solution with great photos.

I will have to get my camera back from our son, then I will learn how to post a photo of myself. I have wanted to post a photo for several months.

Well, off to eat on plan for dinner.

Will check in with y'all tomarrow.

Woo-hoo YH!! The men are noticing!! Bf better watch out now. Someday you are going to post a new pic and let us see how skinny you are!

We are having such beautiful weather. We got the courthouse mural and tiles all washed. Perfect day for it, esp. since the word is that we're in for another snowstorm on Thurs & Fri. So yep, looks like May snow afterall. We'll go to Curves tomorrow just in case the weather does get worse later in the week.

I wore my jeans, which are so baggy on me now, and one of my sorority sisters pulled me aside and said she was so proud of how much I've lost so far. First person to really and truly notice without me saying anything, other than dh & my sons, so that felt good.

Dh is grilling burgers for supper and I'm reheating some cabbage soup to go along with it. Sliced tomato too since Kathleen got me in the mood for one. Every year dh makes his garden bigger and bigger. He plants lots of good things -- zucchini, butternut, acorn & summer squash, bell peppers, tomatoes, eggplant, radishes, carrots, turnips, onions, jalapeno & chili peppers, cucumbers, basil, thyme, chives & other herbs, etc. I don't have the strength to work in the garden so it's his own project -- I just get to reap the rewards.

I hope you get some rest tonight, YH. I don't know that I can do away with snacks altogether either, just know that's what I SHOULD do. I have done really good with eating today so even if I do snack tonight, as long as I snack on legal things, I should be okay.

Have a good night ladies! D

P.S. guess we were posting at the same time, SC. Yes, please get your pic up!! K, you need one too!!

No ladies I did not croak from all the tests--nor have I given up (though I have considered it)--just been really busy. Between work & all the testing & then ds came home on Sat & is here thru tomorrow nite. Had both my parents over for dinner tonight for their combined birthday dinner. Went to the dentist & had teeth cleaned today. So that's everything humanly possible I think & I can now move on to the hand doc....

Ok here's the deal. I went w/o eating from 10pm Wed nite til Fri afternoon about 2:00 & then just ate a few bites. Then had a small meal that evening. When I got on the scale on Sat morning I was up 3lbs....well that just fried my behind to put it mildly!! Thought I would be down a couple lbs. So emotionally I have really struggled with my eating the last few days. I kept hopping in & reading the days postings real quick before I buzzes off to the next whatever. It's always a delight to read all your posts & is the only thing that has kept me from just throwing in the towel! Keep thinking how right D is that I would eat myself up to 350 in no time if I quit now. But I just have no humph at this point.

Glad to hear that you are having a hard time hiding your wgt loss YH!! That is grand! Good exercise still too--course that is why you're still losing. Since you are doing so well I think it wouldn't be a good idea to drop your legal nite time snacking. You've got to have something or you will start feeling deprived & cheated and that might lead to trouble. I wouldn't try to cook for everyone w/ all their different schedules cause you do waste so much food. I quit that not long after ds graduated hs & had his own life schedule going on. Made things so much easier.

D your jeans must be falling off with all the lbs lost--and congrats on the getting into the 200's!! That is so great! And all your #'s just keep dropping & dropping. The main thing about your friend going is that it's support no matter how slow she is LOL!! I wouldn't have made my water class last nite if my friend hadn't been waiting at the pool for me. And I'm glad I went as I can really feel it in my stomach muscles & upper thighs today.

T you keep plugging away & I am so proud of you for not giving up Fruits & desserts....what are we gonna do?? And so bad for your sugar #'s! Made a Snickerdoodle cake for tonight. Remember snickerdoodle cookies?? Use to make 'em all the time years ago & you could never make enough as everyone just scarfed 'em down. So it's a nice lite cinnamon cake & mom wouldn't take any home with them! So now I have this half a cake sitting on the counter. Think I will put a piece in dh lunch tomorrow & put the rest in the freezer in individual servings.

Glad to hear that you are on track today K!! You were doing well before so I'm sure you will fall back into place quickly. Your kitchen sounds great. Having the veggies & a bit more fruit is the reason I got all the SB books & read them. If I stand any chance of ever succeeding I will need to be able to enjoy things like tomates & an orange.

Well I can't comment on all the post as I missed too many days...everyone have a great Wed.

I wasn't going to post again tonight but then I read your post, C, and felt I wanted to just say a quick back. I know you were only gone a few days, but it feels like much longer!

I know how frustrating it can get when that darn scale is not cooperating. But don't give up just yet. You're doing so good with the exercising -- you're bound to lose inches if nothing else. I'm always up during the first part of the week and then the numbers move down by the end of the week, maybe that is happening to you. In any event, when you don't do great one week, the following week is usually a good one, so hang in there!! The important thing is that you are back and you are facing reality -- no denying that this week has been a stressful one for you with all your tests and b'day celebrations, etc. But remember that tomorrow is another day and let's face it....that 3 lbs could turn into 3 more by the end of the week, and 3 more the following week, if you don't stay on track, so keep a positive attitude and keep coming back to us!! We all hit plateaus and struggles, every one of us, and it's important that we seek each other out for support so that we can get over those hurdles without giving up.

Excellent idea about freezing the cake in individual servings. That way you won't be tempted by seeing it everyday. (I love snickerdoodles!).

Anyway, get on your gazelle tomorrow or jump around while you're at your client's. Just keep moving and eventually those lbs will start falling off!!

D
