The wrestling party sounds like it was alot of fun and you were so good with the food D. I bowled years ago but can no longer do it even with the lite baby ball because of my back.
Smoking - the fact that I stink to some non smokers is not a motivator for me. At work i use hand sanitizer after my smoke and febreeze myself if I have to go to a meeting with other people, I have diffuser reeds in my office and if anyone pops in they say it smells so nice. My partner in my shared office is an ex smoker who could care less. When i did quit I had a pack of smokes on me all the time and made sure they did not get stale. Not having them on me made it worse. The grouper cakes are yes fish...like crab cakes - they were no good. Shaw's makes shrimp cakes too and those are decent. My weight loss for the week is zero - stayed the same as predicted. I ate a little more than usual and had the Kielbasa and Brat for 2 meals. I stayed within points ( used some allotted flex pts ). You gals see what i eat every day and I dont think its a whole lot. These weeks will happen no matter what I think, but i do believe I have to eat little to lose and or exercise much more. Where is that good site again that counts your calories - I may try that this week to see exactly what im doing calorie wise. |

too bad so sad
Sorry that you didn't drop anything this week YH!!!!
Makes it so hard to keep going when you don't even drop a single lb! Maybe it was the lack of exercise this week?? And it could be nothing, we all know that 1 dead week doesn't mean it's not working for us. No excuses to cheat this weekend D that nite sounded like lots of fun!! What a great family evening!! You did so good w/the eating. That's how great I did on my vacation last fall. Just ate the new natural way for me so I didn't feel cheated or like I was on a diet on my vacation being all deprived. Then came home to all that stress & fell right off the wagon...LOL Anyway I digress--you did great. And am sure the Curves will really speed you along!!I have a baked bkft dish in the oven & when I get off the 'puter I'm going to make up a couple other dishes so the fridg will be ready for me this week. Am going to be at my moms Wed nite & we'll be at the hospital on Thurs as my dad is having a laporscopy (sp?) so that will be a bit iffy for eating. But my mom hates the wgt I've put on so I can just have salad & she'll be happy with me! That quitting smoking is about the hardest thing I've ever done I think!! YH I did that behavior modification thing too & we had to sit in that awful room & smoke one after the other--they had us light the next one off the one we were putting out....man it was terrible!!!! And I didn't smoke for about 3 days I think... Congrat's on it being 5yrs D!!!!! That is so great!! I also quit when I was pregnant & thru the 9mos that I nursed & then for 2 more months--then we hit an extremely insane time of our marriage & I bummed 1 from a friend & the rest as they say is history....smoked the next 25yrs. Am so hoping that I stick with it this time. Well I need to go change laundry loads & pick up a few things around the house & clean a couple toilets.....just so much fun on ones day off, how do I stand it??? Hope you ladies are just doing fun things today! YH hit that pool for me would ya??? Please!! I love the pool! Just float around & think of poor ole Corris off in MI watching the snow blow by the window........... |

I haven't weighed-in yet (waiting for the coffee to kick in) but I'm predicting pretty much no loss this week. I'm the same as you YH with the amount of calories I can take in to lose weight. I limited myself to around 1000 per day the last few weeks and lost great. Second-guessed myself and listened to others and upped my intake to 1200-1300 and added more fats, and it made a difference. The scale didn't move like it had been doing in the past. I know my body and I know what it takes for me to lose weight. I personally need a lower calorie and fat intake. I'm determined I won't lose sight of that this week.
The site is FitDay.com. Go to the free weight loss journal. If you have time to plug in your daily food intake everyday, that is great. I am near a computer most days so I go there after every meal. If you don't have that time, at least you could look up certain foods. It gives you the calories, fat, carbs, etc of each food item and adds them up for you as the day goes on. I input everything that goes in my body, including spices and drinks. You don't realize that even the tiniest things have calories and/or carbs. It does help me to stay within my limits. It also tells you how many calories you are burning with each activity. And it even keeps track of your weight loss and tells you how many lbs you need to lose each week to reach your goal. It's a really good tool to use. I haven't bowled in years either. With my health issues, there's no way I'd even try now. Only a couple of the dads and the 2 coaches bowled. It was mostly the boys...ages 14 to 18....that bowled. Lots of testosterone in that building last night LOL. Corrisann, I think we're both looking forward to swimming this year. Darn this snow!! Today is gorgeous here but I won't brag too much because who knows what it will be like tomorrow, since it snowed off and on all day yesterday.I'm so glad we're staying home this wkd. I know that plays a big part in my weight loss, when I am on the go too much and not able to drink my water and take my water pills, or even keep to my planned menu. Hopefully the week ahead will be a more successful one. We can do it!! ---D Last edited by Denise78 : 03-08-2008 at 07:50 AM. |

Correction
Corrisann, in one of my previous posts about the 1500 calorie intake, I wrote, "someone your size." I want to clarify that I meant you were much smaller than me so you didn't need to be quite so drastic as me. I re-read that and thought, oh no, I hope she wasn't thinking I meant the opposite!! Sorry if it came out the wrong way
-- not what I intended. ---DWanted to add....hope your dad is okay and it's nothing serious!! Last edited by Denise78 : 03-08-2008 at 07:42 AM. |

Down a little
Okay, I got on the scale. Down 1.5 lbs. Well I guess that is better than gaining, but I do need to tighten the belt this week (both figuratively and literally!!), so I will be paying closer attention to what I eat and hopefully exercising more! Oh BTW, I hit the 15 lb mark. My next goal is to get under 300. Might take me awhile, but I'm determined

C - Im gassing myself about me and you in the the "behavior modification" room - that was so long ago but I remember too that you had to light the next one with your butt. Hope your dad is ok. My mom always called me fat if I was over 130 lbs - she was naturally thin. I cant decide which toilet I want to clean first today - the darlings are still sleeping and its almost 100pm.
D - Hurrah on the 15 mark and your 1.5 loss ! Im going to check out FitDay this week. I went to the gym this morning. While I was walking on the treadmill I got halfway thru a Jorge Cruise book called the 3 hr. diet - according to what I read so far we are all in trouble ! Ha! Low carb is no good, Atkins very bad, South Beach lousy....I did not get to the diet part yet but im sure ya gotta eat every 3 hrs. ![]() |

yup that's what I thought
Yup D I did think you were referring to my size, but since we are in the same boat I wasn't offended. Now if you were a size 4 or 10 & said that I would be very hurt. But part of our support to each other is honesty. So don't worry about it.
Congrat's on the loss D!!! ANY loss is better than the smallest gain!!I have my 2 meals cooked & cooling on the counter to go in the fridg. I also did 30mins on my air walker. It sits in the foyer & there is a table an mirror there so I did it in my underwear and watched all my rolls bounce..... ![]() well that will sure take your appetite away LOL!!!! Have to remember that trick! No one here to get repulsed but me. Good deal on getting to the gym YH!! Yes sir I could do the pizza every 3 hour diet!! Now the half a cuke every 3 hrs diet holds no interest for me... Ok I have checked several things off my to do list but must get on with it. If I stay stopped too long I won't get back to it & will be so sorry come the middle of the week. Next one is to put the cd in the 'puter & figure out our new insurance & locate a doc.....I hate doing all that!!! And then once a year it changes & you get to go crazy going thru it again. Dh always leaves it to me to do.... Still snowing....falling all gently....one of those pretty snows....sure wish I was going out to the pool when I got with all my duties..... ![]() |

Air walker - just looked that one up - I saw a Wesler air walker and it rated good. Good for you C ! Your a brave soul- mirror and underwear. I'd probably end up in the ER if i did that. I see the people at the gym on the epiletical (sp) machines and i tried it for about 2 min. - too much twisty on the back.

Of course I had to search online too for what one of those air walkers look like.
My ex-mother-in-law had something similar. I'm guessing it doesn't impact your knees/feet?? Good for you C, to exercise in front of a mirror. I haven't tried that yet but I should...would be a great incentive for me to lose weight!!I did good today. I'm really gung-ho on losing more weight this week. I'm hoping another trip to Curves on Monday will help. Today's menu: B-1 scrambled egg w/spinach, 1/2 tsp salsa, coffee L-"taco" salad -- 1/3 shredded chicken breast (no skin) in salad of lettuce w/2 tbs salsa and 1 tbs guacamole D-3 grilled jalapeno peppers stuffed w/cream cheese and wrapped in bacon, 2 grilled pork chops (fat trimmed off), 2 tbs butternut squash, sugar-free jello S-1 pickle, 2 tbs cottage cheese, sm pc of chicken (about the size of half dollar) w/buffalo wing sauce on 1/2 lettuce leaf I guess I was in the mood for lots of spicy things today! Dh found the Girl Scout cookies (he ordered them, not me) so I ran out of the kitchen because even though I'm not a sweet-eater, I LOVE GS cookies, especially the thin mints which is what he was eating. Better to just leave the room when he's into something like that! ![]() Hey YH, just a few more posts and you become a Senior LCF Member. I think it changes when you reach 45 or 50 posts. Ds2 is at a party tonight so I'll be waiting up till he gets home at midnight. I think Ds1 is going to the movies with friends. Dh and I are spending a quiet evening at home and I hear him calling to watch tv in the bedroom so off I go! ![]() -----D Last edited by Denise78 : 03-08-2008 at 04:45 PM. |

You have some great willpower too!! I think you can freeze them, can't you?
Dh ordered 3 boxes without telling me till after they came in, the sneak, but ds1 has been helping him get rid of them. I totally forgot they were on top of the refrig till he pulled down the box after supper tonight. That is really great that you are planning ahead and making up some meals, Corrisann. I bet it will be nice to get home from work and have your meal already made and all you need to do is heat it up. What did you make? I need some new ideas for this upcoming week -- preferably chicken!! Halfway thru the wkd -- hope everyone is doing okay with their WOE! ![]() ---D Last edited by Denise78 : 03-08-2008 at 06:37 PM. |

Those GS cookies-BF really wont eat them-he does not like thin mints and neither will s3-that BF's hoarding mind - I'll get rid of them this week because I am sick of looking at them - I cant have 1 - ill eat the whole sleeve-yep you can freeze those. BF is a cookie monster, loves bakery, ice cream- I buy that stuff weekly and S3 needs the Doritos, chips, etc. so that junk is here too. So I have to have the willpower with all this junk in the house. I am at the point that it does not bother me.
Planning - you guys are so good at that - I have to learn how to do that with the food but its hard with the dinners-never know if s3 will be around-no one eats at the same time, BF's work often brings food in for them plus he goes out to lunch everyday. I throw alot of food out and im getting tired of it. I am up so early on the weekends and can't make noise ( like cooking meals for the week in the kitchen ) , by 200pm im done for the day and they are just waking up. Saturday - went to gym Am- yogurt and nectarine Midday- 1 sl. of swiss cheese ( lowfat) Dinner - 1 1/2 pork chop fresh asparagus Snack - 4 animal crackers/cookies fruities-2 I looked up the slice of cheese pt. wise and 2 pts. for once slice - not worth it. The animal crackers ( Publix)are good if you can just eat a few. Publix is the main food store here, dont know about the Barnum Circus ones in the adorable little box-I love those. How tall is everyone ? Im short 5'4" I am actually getting used to the taste of the Crystal Lite - that took awhile coming off reg. Coke and Pepsi's. I hear the work splenda alot - is that better for you in the diet stuff ? I can't drink diet pepsi's, cokes, give me nausea. I started dry brushing my thighs, butt, belly, and upper arms. This is suppose to be good while losing weight for skin tone and cellulite. Have a great Sunday. |

Same prob here. I buy some meals for dh and I and some meals including ds2 and then I have to ask every morning, "Are you going to be home for supper?" Lots of times the answer is yes and then he is not anyway. I hate wasting food.
So I cannot cook days in advance, but have the meals in the back of my mind. I like when ds1 is home from college because he's not going to pass up home-cooking if he has the chance. We have all that junk food in the house too. I think it goes with raising kids and you get used to it all. We don't have Publix out here but my dad lives in Sarasota, FL so I've shopped there when I am visiting him. It's a nice big store. He likes getting their cooked meals at the deli. He gets his Thanksgiving dinner there every year (his wife hates to cook). Publix prepares the turkey and all the fixings and my dad just has to pick it up and reheat. I haven't had animal crackers in yrs. I took ds1 shopping for some dorm-room food and he picked up a big container of them to take back to school. I imagine they're good when you're looking for something crunchy and not too sweet. I wonder what the carb count is on them? I may be able to have them on my plan. I am close to 5'6". I used to be able to carry my weight well but at some point it caught up with me. I was thinking of Corrisann exercising in front of the mirror and I realized that a lot of my weight crept up on me because I don't have a full-length mirror in the house. I think when we visualize ourselves, most of us see a "thinner" person anyway so it's probably best to get in front of that mirror more often and have the truth hit me in the face. ![]() I haven't had a diet soda in a month. I loved them but my MS dr told me that the aspartame is like poison, literally. Something about how if aspartame gets heated up (like sitting in a warehouse before being shipped to stores) it turns to some kind of ethynol. I've also read a lot of stories about it not being good for MS patients. Plus it makes me retain water and the aspartame does make me hungry. So all in all, it's best that I quit drinking them. I don't like the flavored sodas like Shasta, even the ones made with Splenda. They have a funny aftertaste to me. I drink mostly water all day long now but do have those Wyler's sugar-free lemonade to-go's (just like Crystal Light) and also some sugar-free green tea to-go's. No one in my family likes that stuff for me to make a big pitcher of it so I use the little pkgs and make up single glasses when I want it. I only use 1/2 a pkg because they are too sweet for me full-strength. So you use a regular hairbrush to brush your skin? Where do you find out about all these latest techniques? I feel like I am living in the stone ages...never heard of these things! I like to try new things too, you never know what will work so hate to pass on anything these days. Ds2 is going on an overnight school trip today...FFA competition in a town a few hours away. Ds1 will be heading back to college at some point, probably later tonight. I defrosted a small roast and will cut it up and make swiss steak for supper. Ds1 asked if I'd make that hamburg/cheese/salsa dip we had at the wrestling party. It didn't raise my sugars so I think it's something we could have at lunchtime today and I'll just have mine on lettuce while they have theirs with tortilla chips. I'm trying to work some chicken into my menu but will have to wait till ds2 is back from his trip. He and I are the only ones that love chicken so I'd rather make it when he is around. Well that's my boring plans for today. Have a good one! ---DLast edited by Denise78 : 03-09-2008 at 09:14 AM. |

Sounds like a nice weekend at home.
Now I got the Crystal Light in front of me and I see it has aspartine + + being phenylalanine - I have three canisters of this stuff. Ha ! Just google dry skin brushing and you'll finds loads of info. Health food stores usually have the brushes but I buy everything online - except weekly groceries. Publix used to do the online groceries and deliver for 5.00 but the selections were limited. I have not been to a mall in probably ten years. I went to the gym this am - did the treadmill for 30 min. and 10 min. on a recumbant bike ( thought I would "try" something different). The bike was alot harder for me than the treadmill. I also did 20 min. of Callanetics. So exercise wise I was a good do bee. Now its Movie Time with BF ! I have Beef Stew in the oven. |

I think it's just the liquid aspartame not the powdered so you should be okay. It's something about the liquid when it gets hot that it changes properties.
Wow, great exercising today! You are going to do amazing this week, I can tell. What is a recumbant bike? My dh just found a Beverly Hillbillies marathon so off I go. Just great ![]() Last edited by Denise78 : 03-09-2008 at 10:52 AM. |

Oh boy a BHB marathan.....we did a Mash marathan about 3 weeks back. Had a great time---& of course I snacked terrible thru it.
Nice lazy Sunday!!! Haven't had a nice lazy anything in a loooonnng time. But it's 7:30 already...in 12 more hours I'll be on the work to work I got 3 of my drawers cleaned out! Like to open the drawer, reach in, get what I want & close the drawer. These were all in a jumble & it takes 10 minutes of vauluable a.m. time looking for the right bra & socks....LOL!! Let's see what other great things. Oh I went thru all my email & got messages either into folders or deleted. Just those little things that can drive a person nuts when they build up ankle deep LOL!! Very sunny again but still quite cold.Sat. nite we went to dinner & a comedy play with friends. That was fun as we haven't been out in a long time. Screwed up a bit on the food I think but it was a honest be it stupid mistake. I got the seafood spinach raviloi. When they sat the plate in front of me the bell went off & I realized that of course it was made with flour & was a starch that had spinach in it to. When I ordered it I just quickly thought oh good spinach I can have that....it was very good. The air walker doesn't bother your joints at all that's why I got it. It is a Tony Little Gazelle that was advertised on tv for so long. Got it for $50 in almost brand new condition. Had another one that I used for years til it finally died. Use to be that I would step on it off & on all day as I had 10-15mins here & there, but I think I blabbed on about this before. Also have the Leslie somebody Walk off the Pounds dvds. They also are very easy on your feet & joints & work real well---when you actually do them. The 1 mile had gotten too easy & the 2was great. Hadn't gotten up to the 3 mile yet. If I couldn't do any cooking ahead for the rest of the family YH then I would have to get my food , made or bought, set in the fridg w/ a general plan in mind for them if they happened to be around. Just grabbing gets me in big trouble. I'm not huge on sweets but GS cookies would be a big no no.....thank heavens for the first time ever my dh (who has quite a sweet tooth) said no to ordering cookies. Our budget is on recover still. So thank heavens none in the house this year!! Did make some brownies out of my Comfort Foods Diet Cookbook this afternoon and they came out quite dry. So they won't be a temptation to me. Gave them a large spray of whipped cream & dh said they weren't bad that way. The animal crackers are great & should be a nice treat on WW's. Don't think they would work for LC Denise. YH have you tried the baked Lay's?? They are actually quite good & also work well point wise as a snack on WW's. Learned about them from one friend that lost 80lbs on WW's. They are big hockey watchers & so she would keep her points to have 2 lite beers or wine coolers and some of the baked Lay's to keep her happy, part of the group & out of trouble. My favorite is the sour cream & cheddar ones. The bbq ones are pretty good too. Dh's cousins from way up in Canada called today to say they are coming down for the Easter weekend. They weren't able to come at the time of his dads funeral. So that raises a variety of problems & food & cooking for them is one. Am so dreading it all.....family can be such a big problem!!! I'm talking about dh's mom & sister not the cousins, they are very nice. I am 5'6' or 5'7" depending on who measures me. Dh is 6'2" and ds came out 6'4" or 6'5", again depending on who measures him. This height & having a large bone structure made it so I could pile on the wgt for years & not start looking like I needed to loose til I got to 200. So it was not to my good that I carried the wgt well. And I really am a large bone structure--know lots of women say that but even at 140lbs wearing a size 10 I needed a size 8" bracelet & 7 ring. Don't remember the inches for sure but you can find them on line---what you do is simple, measure your wrist & then look at the chart. Well it's now 8 so I guess I best get off & pack lunches etc for tomorrow as I want to be able to sit down at 9 & watch a movie til 11. Have a great Mon!! Hope Teresa is having a good time and not having too many desserts! |

I was really hoping Teresa would be able to pop in and say hi while she was gone. I think she is coming home on Wednesday. Miss you Teresa!!
![]() The comedy play sounds like fun, Corris. Too bad about the ravioli but it does sound delicious! Will dh's family stay with you? I bet you could make meals that are low-carb and they'd never know the difference. Especially those buffalo chicken or chicken parmesan recipes or maybe a ham dinner for Easter and just make some low-carb side dishes. Somehow I think it's not just feeding them that is stressing you out though. Well, just remember we are here if you need to vent!I made some chili for lunch but I was the only one that really liked it. I used low-carb black soybeans so it's an acquired taste but hey, they were only 1 carb per serving compared to regular chili beans which are 14 carbs per serving so I enjoyed it. Dh and ds1 liked the hamburg/cheese/salsa dip much better and they had that with tortilla chips. Supper was delicious. Swiss steak. I cut a roast into steaks and simmered them in canned whole tomatoes, tbs of spag sauce and sliced onions for a couple of hours till very tender. Mmmm. Ds1 had his over rice but dh and I ate ours without. How was your beef stew, YH? Today's menu: B-2 scrambled eggs w/spinach, coffee L-hamburg/cheese/salsa dip on lettuce leaves, 2 cups low-carb chili D-1 sm swiss steak w/tomatoes and onions, lettuce w/low-carb dressing S-none Ds1 went back to college. I miss him so much already! He'll be back at Easter, so that's not too far off I guess.Tomorrow I go to the gym, which I'm looking forward to. ![]() Hope everyone is ready to start a new week! ---- DLast edited by Denise78 : 03-09-2008 at 09:27 PM. |

I know what you mean about visitors-I dread it-my little brother and others has been coming forever since i moved to Fl.-that was fine until I moved to a condo -now its impossible since s3 moved in. But...he has the nerve to ask me if s3 will share his California king bed with him, s3 wants no part of that since we all went north last spring for mom's funeral and brother had the nerve to complain about all of us staying at mom's big house that she left to 2 of my brothers by the way. He even made the statement to me that mom's house is not going to turn into the summer Florida crash-pad-after he has stayed with me for like 25 years and i cooked, entertained, and washed his underwear. Other brother in the home would love for me to visit but i am very bitter over the comments from little brother last yr. Another reason im not gung ho about going up for the wedding. My Florida company from the north thinks we just sightsee and go to the beach everyday, Ha ! Cost of living is very expensive in this part of Fl. Oh yeah - little brother has more money than God since he never moved out of mom's and had to call me to learn how to pay a bill at age 47 when mom died!
Mirrors-I too think we all see ourselves thinner and younger. Thats why i never takes pictures. I went on a cruise last year and bunch of full body pics taken and when i actually saw them I could not believe how big I was. Maybe ill have BF take a pic of me and put it on the fridge or where the snacks are. The pic on here is with girlfriend last Dec. but we gave ourselves strict orders - waist up only shots-ha! She is about 220 but is tall and looks like maybe 160. Being short I look dumpy and my weight shows very well. Have not tried the baked lays-looked at the tho-scared-would eat too many. I think the animal crackers are like 100 cals. for 12 or so. Yeah C, thats like I ordered the fish at the rest. and it comes with spinach in a lovely bed on angel hair pasta ! Now I remember the Tony Little infomercial clearly now-that looks like a workout and glad you can do it. Infomercials-I have this huge box sitting in my living area unopened-no room till I attempt to make some, I got mesmerized one day and ordered this thing called the Fluidity System..It weighs a ton..Ha! I got my underwear and clothes for work in the living area as I have no room in drawers plus cant make noise, turn on a light, to get ready for work-Ive been wearing the same old every week. Thats a major undertaking and cant get motivated and need the place to myself to even begin. I like the Hillbillies too, BF wont watch, during the week ill watch including Mayberry and Little House on the Prarie. Enjoy your Curves today D ! I am a bit sore today, the recumbant bike is a bike that is low and you sit back on it - better for your back. Stew was good - did not eat the potatoes, just the celery, onions and mushrooms, reading bad info on carrots now for weight loss. Need a diagnosis: for the last month everytime i go up steps ( like more than 4 ) my right knee gives out with no warning. I noticed it did it a couple xs on the treadmill this weekend too. Sun. yogurt and shrimp (no sauce) Beef stew Animal crackers (12) 1-100 cal. pack 1-fruitie |

Quite the scare
Well I had quite the scare in the middle of the night. About 1:30 am, I heard dh get up to use the bathroom (attached to our bedroom) and when he came back in the room, I asked him to turn the light on. I didn't feel quite right. Very shaky, dizzy, sweat pouring off me. He got my glucometer and I took my blood sugar. Keep in mind that 70-100 is normal range and anything under 60 could be dangerous....I was 50. And dropping! So I needed sugar in me. Now here I am, scared I'm going into insulin shock, and I'm telling dh if I have to eat something with sugar, make it a Girl Scout cookie. I wasn't thinking straight because low sugars do mess you up. But hey, I got to have 3 GS cookies and a bite-size Milky Way without feeling guilty! Anyway, I stayed up till I had reached 84 and then went back to bed. Whew. That was a little scary. I have been cutting back on the insulin because I've been eating so low-carb but guess I need to cut back even more. Which is a very good thing so I'm happy about that.Well you know I'm going to ask...what is a Fluidity System? ![]() I like some TV Land shows...I Love Lucy...Andy Griffith...MASH....but I can't do a whole day of Bev. Hillbillies. That's more dh's style. So he finally switched over to some episodes of Cops and then we went back to Bev. HB again. I am more into the reality tv shows, Big Brother, Real World, High School Reunion, which dh hates. I have one brother, 5 yrs younger, have not talked to him in over a yr. He's a pretty selfish and negative guy, everything is ME, ME, ME, always whining/bragging about the bad/good things going on in HIS life but never took the time to care about anyone else's problems/successes. I cannot stand that kind of selfish attitude. Too bad but life is too short and I don't need the stress. My sister, who is a yr younger than me, and I get along great. No other siblings. Maybe that's a good thing. ![]() Possibly you need some glucosamine for your knee?? Could be an injury or soreness from exercise or could be that you're eating differently and not getting enough nutrients in you. I can't remember if you said you have arthritis?? I've heard that glucosamine is supposed to help greatly with knee joints so it might be worth a try. You might need a knee brace to exercise if it continues to give out on you like that. Carrots are a vegetable I cannot eat because they are high in sugars. Dark leafy green veggies are the healthiest and I try to stick to them although I do miss corn and peas a lot, which are also too starchy. I like you gals' pics on here and hate mine but I don't let people take my pic so I don't have much to choose from. Mine is from Christmas. |
