Hi Strangers!!!!
Hi Everybody!!! ![]() Long time no talk! We had a great time at the "Bikes & BBQ." We did get a downpore-rain a little later on, but it cleared up again. The band was inside, so that's good. Good band........got my happy feet on and did alot of dancing! My sister-in-law got sooooooooo drunk! Hahahaha!!! She has quite a mouth on her when she gets like that! Luckily, she (we) didn't get in TOO much trouble! There was a Chinese Auction too. My husband won 3 things! And 2 of them were $20.00 gift certificates to local restaurants! Cool!!! Then on Sunday we went to my friend's 50th birthday party. Was nice. I was still recouperating at that point, so I just had coffee! LOTS of coffee! ![]() They had a DJ and more food! I did have some sweet desserts. I didn't gain anything! THANK GOD!I'm back to my "200." And it's scale thingy is starting to go under the 200. Yes, I have an old old scale. My grandmother's. I think I told you that before. Pretty accurate though, as long as you set it in the same place every time. LOL! I don't have a digital, and I don't even keep track of tenths or anything like that. I really don't feel like I've lost until I hit another 5 pound mark. But let me tell ya, it really stands out if I GAIN a few pounds! So far all is good.Went to the doctor (routine checkup) on Monday. He was happy with me losing the 15 pounds. BP is good......perfect actually......120/80. I have high blood pressure, so he keeps good tabs on me. Soooooo..........Eve, you asked about the "new" challenge......I proposed only a 10 pounder by July 4th. I think that's really very realistic and we don't have to push and go crazy too much. We can secretly shoot for more, but I think we'll all be happy with 10 pounds. How does that sound to you girls? Now, I've got to get back to WALKING! I've slacked off and somehow I've got to get going again! Last week it was cold and raining.....like 50 degrees with alot of high wind. So, the wind chill was probably in the low 40's. Like I said, I don't do cold. HATE IT! I've absolutely got to get out there after work. I'm having a small sciatic nerve flare up, so (not making excuses), I've been taking it easy for that reason too. Hopefully it'll be gone (again) very soon. Sometimes walking helps it though too. Soooo.......maybe I can get the get-up-and-go thing going on and shoot for a walk on Thursday. I have to take my Mom into Buffalo tomorrow to a neurosurgeon for her feet. She now has "Charcot foot" due to her neuropathy in her legs and feet from the chemo. It's very difficult for her to walk. Her right foot has turned way in. I know the doc will say surgery, and she will say NO surgery. I think she wants to try a leg/foot brace first. Well, she doesn't even want to do THAT, but SOMETHING has to be done. She can't go on like this, that's for sure! So, that's what I'm doing tomorrow. Eve, so glad you got the boat slip! YAY!!!!! ![]() It's going to be sooooo much nicer for you. The boat will already be there and all you have to do is get in and go! No more screwing around unloading, etc. I'm so happy you got it.......will make it alot easier! And I'll bet you guys will go more often, now that you don't have to load up each and every time. You're going to have a great summer and lots of fun!!!!!!!! You're making us bracelets???? REALLY?????? Awwwwwwww, you're great! I bet something like creams, browns and blacks together would look rich! I like the way those colors go together. And it's neutral where you could wear it with anything!!! I usually look for 8 inch bracelets so it hangs a bit. One of these days I've got to check out and figure out the private message thing. I'd like to send you guys my e-mail address. I get some pretty cool jokes and different things that come in. You'd love 'em! Can we or can't we post our e-mail addresses on this board??? I guess I would have to get yours too, in order to send them to ya!!! ![]() Stacy....you really got your kids moving! (Cleaning)! Gotta keep 'em in line, right??? Good for you! About the cheese.......yep, since you crave it, your body must need some dairy. Our bodies do a good job at letting us know what we need. Of couse sometimes it tells me SWEETS! And I have to tell it NO!!!!!! But yes, we do need to watch that we get all nutrients in there from time to time. I should talk......VEGGIES. YUK! ![]() I don't mind the higher carb veggies though........carrots and corn. IT FIGURES!!! Eve, your car sounds nice........even though I don't know what that make looks like! I will have to do a search on it eventually..... Love the tinted windows. I also have tinted windows, but yours sounds really dark (I like that look). My windows are a light tint. Very light......like a light gray-ish kind of. I find them hard to clean. Seems you really have to get it good so it doesn't smear. It's worth it though. My friend Donna and hubby and a few others are putting together a 50th birthday party for me for Saturday, June 14th. So, Donna wants me to get a list of friends together and let her know and she will send out invitations. I'm soooo glad I'm not getting a surprise party. My birthday is on the 18th, but gotta do it on a Saturday. I told her I didn't really want no big hall rental thing and crap like that. Sooo......... We are going to go to a bar (where else)? There is "Power Hour" from 7-8:00 p.m. They serve cheap eats during that time. Hubby will pick up the tab on that. Will have cake. I also think that there will be some other munchies people will bring in. I don't know ALL the details. They told me to just show up. Great! Then at 8 or 9:00 there is a good band. They play 80's rock. Alot of Heart, Loverboy, Kansas, Journey and things like that. So we'll all hang out together and DRINK again.....hahahaha!!! Get some happy feet going again too I'm sure. This bar is nice because it's across the street from Lake Erie and the back is totally open. So we can put some tables together outside if it's nice. Then there's a volleyball thing and like a Tikki bar in the back. Then of course the big bar inside. Should be fun. So I HOPE I can lose a few pounds by the 14th! I was hoping for 5, but we'll see. I definitely have to start walking to help with that! Well, that's my book again for now. Had alot to talk about since it's been a few days. Hope you girls have a great day tomorrow. Where are the other gals?????? I was just getting to start to know them, and "poof" they're gone. I hope they check in soon. Talk to you later! Betty Lou ![]()

The chaos in the Walker house never ends. Yesterday, I had my son load and start the dishwasher. He and I left to go to Wal Mart to do some shopping. When we got home, the kitchen floor, under the sink, and the laundry room downstairs were flooded. The pipe connecting the dishwasher to the sink had somehow come undone.
So, got that cleaned up and taken care of. There were minimal casualties, thankfully. We lost a couple of rolls of paper towels and my electronic scale. Yup, no weighing myself today. Or for a little while. Let's see what happens. I am gonna have to go by what my clothes are telling me instead of the number that shows on the scale.Went out to dinner last night with some friends. I had a huge mushroom swiss burger...ate the bun even. It was really good. I felt good eating it. Enjoyed it a lot. And I am done. Every now and then it is nice to blow it- even nicer the following day when I don't feel the need or desire to continue to blow it. ![]() It is quite rainy out today, so I am not leaving the house to work. Will do that tomorrow. I haven't worked at all this week. Last week had me feeling so stressed out that I really needed this week to unwind. I am working on figuring out a way to have the boys stay with our parents in OK while we are in MI. So, far I have talked to my mom and she is ok with that. She said that she and my dad would be thrilled to have the kids, but warned me that they are gonna be quite busy with work, so the boys may be a bit bored. So, today I am gonna call my brother and see if he will rescue the boys for a couple of days. Once I get that taken care of, I am going to call my in laws and see if they will be able to also keep the boys for a week or so. It should all be good. I will feel a lot better if the boys have a place to be while we are in Michigan as opposed to being home for a long weekend by themselves. I will check back in after a bit. Gonna play on the net for a bit. ![]()

I am in such a bummed mood.
I went into the kitchen and heard water going to the ice maker continuously running. Didn't think too much about it. Made a mental note to check on it again after a few minutes. Went downstairs to do some laundry and once again, the basement is flooded! Yesterday it was because of the dishwasher, so the left side of the laundry room was all wet. Today it was because of the refrigerator and it was behind the louver doors where the pipes, hot water heater, and the furnace are. So, I got the water turned off, got it all cleaned up. ![]() Just got a phone call from DH. They are cancelling the MI trip and rescheduling it for Las Vegas in July (the 6th-8th). I am incredibly bummed about this. I need to go to bed and hide under the covers. Not having a good day. ![]() |

Boy, I'm thirsty. I think I want some W A T E R !!!!!
![]() BUMMER though Stacy......really! What a way to spend a couple of days. Once is not enough.......but TWICE?????? Ughhhhh!!!! Sorry that it happened to you guys......hopefully that is all fixed up soon!!! And also bummer about your trip! I hope you can spend some time in Vegas with hubby and have some fun! Maybe it's supposed to be......like maybe you should put a few coins in and make some big bucks! Well enough to pay the plumber anyway!!!!! ![]() ![]() Ok, sorry.....you can yell at me for being a wise-*ss!!! I'm just goofing around though......!!!!I don't think a lost even a smidgen. Ugh. I've been "good" with the eating, but I think I might have to knock the calories down a few steps. Not that it's that high, but I need to eat more veggies... ! Seems that is the ONLY way I can lose, is by eating GREEN veggies. Weird. I didn't have any time to make anything for supper tonight. I went to Wendy's .... to the drive-thru. I got a spicy chicken sandwich and ate the chicken only. And an oriential salad. Ate only 1/2 of that. But that chicken was breaded. I forgot about that. And I'm sure deep fried (calories). So, see......? I gotta get back alittle bit to the foods I hate. I was shooting for minus 5 by next Saturday, June 14th. Nothing has budged though. Gotta really, REALLY up the water intake too. I did get a walk in tonight. It's REAL HUMID up here today. About 85 degrees and 100% humidity. My doggie Blaze (tan one in the pic) was really panting. I found him some water in this really small creek thing. Not even clean water. More like drainage. Yuk. He went right in and laid right down. Oh my God, the MUD!!!!!!!!! And he kept doing it. I couldn't yell at him though cuz he was so hot. I thought, what the hell? You're younger than me, and I'm not even that bad or thirsty. But I know dogs don't sweat, so that's a big thing. The heat really doesn't escape them like a it does a person. But we had to trek on as I was only half-way back to my car. Then we sat down for about 10 minutes. Then he got real playful again, so that was good. When we got home I had my husband wash him down with the hose.....boy he was all muddy on his underside. My Mom's doctor appointment went pretty good. I guess. She does NOT have Charcot foot. It's her neuropathy from the chemo that somehow is now causing arthritis and her bones in her feet to become deformed. I feel so bad for her. If it wasn't for that, she would be really active. She got fitted for leg/ankle braces. I think it will be doable. They aren't big bulky braces like I had in mind. It is more of a smooth plastic. And it they will fit inside shoes. The braces will be ready in a few days, so she will probably drive herself to Buffalo and pick them up. I hope my brother takes her though......but she says she's not an invalid and she can drive herself. Buffalo is pretty busy ...... hmmmmm....... Well, ladies, that's about it. Eve, I hope you're not TOO BUSY at work! Boy you work some long hours......but it's nice having all those days off in a row! See ya, Betty Lou ![]() |

Finally
Okay i made it. This took me about 20 minutes to get on. Evidently the fine print with my satellite connection says if you use too many minutes, then u get kicked to a slower server, unless of course you pay for the fast one all the time. Another way for them to stick it to ya. Well my ds is going to have to cut back on his on-line game playing. Te he
He isn't going to like that. Well we never made it to the Marina today. A down pour started and dh decided to try tomorrow. Ran to walmart and got a few things for the boat. Going to Indiana Jones today then get some groceries and get stuff ready so we can leave bright and early tomorrow. Sorry to hear about the pipes breaking on ya Stacy. I hope you get out of your funk. Sorry about the changes to you trip too. And the scale oh my that is just terrible. I would have to break down and get me a new scale. Glad you had a wonderful time last weekend Betty Lou. Sorry your dp Blaze got overheated. Glad your mom is getting her braces. Hopefully that will help her. I have done just terrible this week. Very late work days on Wed and Thur. I didn't get a chance to work out at all and of course stress makes me crump and then i eat horribly. Oh well water under the bridge. Not going to look back and just go forward. I haven't gotten on the scale but i have a feeling it ain't gonna be good. Well gotta go. Hope you all are doing good and ttyl

Hello Ladies!
Well, this morning, the scale said nothing! But, I believe that I have done well so far the last couple of days. so, it is all good.My funk is disappating a little bit. Still here, but no where as bad as it has been lately. Worked a bit today. Got the paperwork to do still. Not too worried about it. Eve, I am sorry you didn't get down to the marina. What a bummer. I hope that Indy was a nice replacement. I still haven't had a chance to see it, but boy, I want to! Betty Lou, are there any green veggies that you like? What ones do can you not stomach? Are there any that you haven't tried that you would like to? Let us know and maybe we can come up with a couple of recipe ideas for you. Shoot, maybe that would help us too. I love green veggies. Veggies in general. I have to watch out, because I will overdo them and gain weight. |

Hi!
Hmmmmm.......let's see. Any veggie that I might be able to gag down. Hmmmmm....... I say "green" because those are the lowest in carbs and calories. I can do carrots, and I absolutely LOVE corn on the cob!!! Of course I love it with real butter and alot of salt! I can do veggies (kind of) with butter and salt and holandaise sauce and stuff like that. But then here come the calories. That's the problem. The good stuff has calories. I am not exactly dieting like you guys.......very very low carb and alittle higher fats. In fact, I'm probably on the wrong board!!! ![]() But I've gotten to know you guys and now I can't quit! And I also say that we are all in this weight loss thing together, no matter what diet we are following.Anyway, I do have to watch the calories and fat intake. I just can't lose at all if I am eating REAL high fat things. Yes, I do have fat, but I have cut back. I do have "full fat" (I guess you could say) on certain things, as we all need fat in the diet. But I have to be careful. I like....ok, not like, but tolerate...( ) green beans, yellow beans, cauliflower. If there was something lower fat I could put on them, and that tastes pretty good, I could handle it. Now that I think of it, "cold" veggies are good. Tomatoes, radishes, lettuce, cucumbers, celery. It's the "hot" veggies that I don't care for really. Thanks for trying to help out. Now you know my story of veggies! ******************************* We just got in from the outside. Washed the deck. We have vinyl decking and I mixed up some oxy-clean and water, let it sit, and Ken took the large flat broom thing (like janitors use) and scrubbed. Then I followed behind him and pressure washed and rinsed it off. Looks great. Finally getting someplace! Tomorrow will do more stuff outside........hope the rain holds off. On Sunday I have another 50th birthday party to go to. I have to bring a dish. I think I might make salami roll-ups. They are delicious! It is hard salami with cream cheese and pineapple inside -- rolled up. Or you could just have cream cheese. But the pineapple sweetens it up alittle bit. They don't sound good...hahahaha.....and they don't even LOOK good. But they are DELICIOUS! Always a big hit. Something alittle different. I'm sure I'm going to have a few as I make them. So that will have to be my fat for the day! ![]() Hope you guys have a great weekend. Anything good planned???? See ya, Betty Lou ![]() |

Oh, Guess what I'm growing? CATNIP! I saw it at the greenhouse a few weeks ago. I said.......eh, what the hell.......I'll get it and see what happens. It's pretty hearty! It's growing fast! I have one cat right now (always had 3, but......well, they are gone now). There is a certain way you have to prune it so it will grow bushy, instead of tall.
I've taken some of the leaves that I pruned and rubbed them in my fingers to get the leaf oil out. Then I go up to my cat. IT'S HILARIOUS! This stuff really works!!!!! And it's the real thing. She loves it. She does some funny stuff. She's high! ![]() Hahahaha! I'm not going to do it often, but I just had to test it out. When the plant is ready, I will make some toys with it and give to some of my friends with cats. ![]() It's a perennial, so will come up every year. I have it outside in a few pots (growing a couple). Have to have it up high so she doesn't get at it. ![]() Betty Lou ![]() |

My daughter has a cat that is way funny when on catnip. I wish it worked for me too.
![]() The salami roll ups sound really good! I make ham roll ups with cream cheese and either pickles or green onions. We love those! My mom makes a corn salad that I love. A couple of cans of chilled corn, drained, chopped onion, bell pepper, and tomato. Mix it all together with mayo. Season with salt and pepper. I love the stuff, but DH doesn't care for it. Any time I go home, I secretly hope that she makes it so I can have some. Needless to say, it has probably been 12 years since I had it last. ![]() Roasted green beans are awesome. Toss with a little olive oil and some sliced onion and garlic. Throw them in the oven (a bit too hot for that now) and season with sea salt and pepper. I like balsamic vinegar on top of mine. I make a cucumber/green bean salad often. Slice up a couple of cukes (I use English cucumbers), some chopped onion, a can of drained green beans, some halved cherry tomatoes, and capers. Toss it all together with a vinagrette made of canola oil, balsamic vinegar, and Italian seasonings. Let it sit for a bit. Done. My DH grilled some tomatoes the other night. We drizzled them with olive oil, put some fresh basil, fresh rosemary, oregano, salt and pepper on them before throwing them on the grill. Those were quite good. I love fried cabbage. Chop it up, fry it in some bacon grease with bacon and onion. We all love grilled squash/zucchini tossed with a little butter and greek seasoning. Slice a spaghetti squash in half, scoop the seeds out. Place in microwave safe bowl, cut side down with about 1/4 cup of water. Cover with plastic wrap. Cook for 12 minutes. Remove the "spaghetti" strands with a fork. Toss with butter, parmesan, salt and pepper. Sauteed peppers, onions, garlic, and mushrooms are near the tops of my favorite list. Chopped broccoli and/or cauliflower with green onion, tomato, and Ranch dressing. Bacon is good with it also. Could add shredded cheese. Here are some board recipes that I have tried and enjoyed. There may be something that you can try- or tweak in order to try. I have thought of a couple of things to add back into the dinner rotation. |

I broke down and had DH dig out the other scale. It is not an electronic one. I hid it forever ago because it reads a couple of pounds higher than the electronic scale did. I forgot about that last night. When I was on my way to bed (I always weigh once at night and once in the morning. Can you say addict?) I stepped on the scale and it read 165!?
So, on my way to bed, I asked my DH what his weight is and his ran about 3 pounds over normal. I need to get a hold of some weights or something to see how right on or off the scale is. This morning the scale said 160. A lot better than the 165 it showed last night.I have been trying really hard the last couple of days to get on track and stay on track. I gotta admit though, my name is Stacy and I am a sugar and cream in my coffee addict. I love my coffee. What I am attempting to do is after a mug of it I drink a bottle of water before getting another one. This way I get my water in and can still have my coffee fix. In fact, right now I have a fresh mug of coffee waiting for me to finish up my bottle of water. My DH and I are gonna go out to the movies tonight. For Christmas, our daughter bought us movie theater gift certificates. We still have about half left, so it will be a cheap date. We are gonna go see Don't Mess with the Zohan or Indiana Jones. After that, we are planning on coming home and hanging out in the hammock in the back yard. For dinner tonight, I am going to do some baked "fried" chicken and gonna boil up a pot of greens and also gonna make some rice. I just got a recipe through email for sauteed zucchini that looks easy to make and sounds really good. Sautéed Zucchini Serves: 4 Garlic gives this zucchini divine flavor. The simplicity of its preparation gives it its healthy character. INGREDIENTS 4 cloves of garlic 3 medium zucchini, sliced 2 tablespoons olive oil DIRECTIONS 1. Peel and dice the garlic while heating the olive oil in a sauté pan over medium heat. 2. Add garlic and zucchini. Stir occasionally. 3. Cook until zucchini is lightly browned. NUTRITION INFO (per serving) Calories: 84.7 Fat: 7.0 g Carbohydrates: 5.3 g Protein: 1.9 g While I am thinking about it, I should do some sun tea also...sorry, just kinda went somewhere else all together there, didn't I? |

Oh, quick story...
We have two dogs, a male Golden Retriever and a female German Shepherd. Well, Annika, our female is in heat. We have decided that we are gonna let them have a litter of pups. After this we are going to get them both fixed. Last night I was cleaning up the kitchen and my 8 year old son was in there talking with me. All of a sudden he informs me that Plato (our male) is driving him bananas. I asked him what he was talking about. He told me that lately he has been trying "harder than normal" to get Annika pregnant. ![]() I kinda think that means the dogs have gotten together. It wouldn't have been such a funny conversation if my son hadn't been so matter of fact about the whole situation. Gotta love little kids. |

HI Gals!
Grrrrrrrrrrr!!!! still having problems. This totally sucks cuz i so like hanging out with you gals. LOL this boat seems to be more problems that it is worth. Oh my gosh we couldn't take it on Friday d/t a serious down pour. Like a cow peeing on a board. Okay so we try to go today. No go. the boat gets stuck in the mud as we pull it out of the barn. The truck tires kept spinning. So we run down and visit the marina anyways and pay for the slip cuz we told the lady that we would be there. We come home and see if we can get it out now since we didn't get anymore rains and hopefully it is dry enough now. Yippee we got it out. So now the plan is to go down tomorrow brite and early. I got the cooler stuff ready to go. sandwiches made and of course the beer is chillin.
Sorry to say i have totally blown my diet. I am stuck at 197.8. What do i expect though with not working out and now I am on my 2 carb loading days. Next week is a new start and I am going to stick to it. I have T-W-Th off so I will be working out those days instead of trying to do it on days i work too. Betty Lou your bracelet is coming along so nicely. I got my loom out and boy it goes so much faster than doing it all by hand. I mean i still have to do it by hand but the technique is so much easier and faster than the square weave method. I hope i have it sent to you by your birthday. Stacy those recipes sound so good. I am going to try a few of them. I run out of ideas of stuff to make. Have you ever used any Dana Carpender recipes? She has a cookbook out that i am interested in. Well i better get this sent before it feels like acting up again. You both take care and hope to talk to you all soon |

Another down pour. I can not believe this weather. I swear it is just like seattle. Well i have never been to seattle but from what i hear about it, it is always rainy and overcast. This is so unusual for MT We are usually pretty dry and sunny. Temps are usually in the high 90's or 100's by July. It has been cool and no higher than mid 60's. I feel like my summer is already almost gone. Well I am just so disappointed and depressed about this boat thing not going well. Sorry for unloading. TTYL

You know, Eve, we would gladly take some of that rain off your hands. We sure do need it. I know that it is even more of a disappointment when you have plans. That really sucks.
We went and saw "Don't Mess with the Zohan" last night. Cute, but I coulda waited til it came out of DVD. I ate popcorn. Lots of it. And, it was good too. ![]() Eve, I have tried a few of Dana Carpenter's recipes. I have her book. I am a cookbook junkie. I read them as though they are novels. Love the cookbooks. ![]() Well, we are on our way out. One of the local biker bars is having a birthday bash that includes a free pig roast. Can't wait to see how bad it hits the scale tomorrow. ![]() |

Hi:
Busy weekend! Went out and about yesterday and ran into my brother at the Jamestown Mall. Cool. Then we both went out to........hahaha....RED LOBSTER! The restaraunt is directly across the street from the mall. Ate a late dinner (9:30 p.m.). I didn't pig out, so it should be ok. Then we hit Wal-Mart after that. Bought a really cool lawn chair. Zero Gravity. And he will hopefully buy me another chair (matching set) for my birthday. They only had one left at Walmart in Jamestown. So, he'll see what our Walmart has. Then he came to my house. It was like 2:00 in the morning and we woke my husband up.....stayed up till about 5 a.m. Had to get up early today as I had to make the salami roll-ups for the 50th birthday party. I was rushing like a mad-man! Ken went to the store to pick up the salami this morning, and I had already bought the pineapple cream cheese. I asked Ken if he would help me as I still had to get in the shower! We were both rolling fools! They came out good. Then at the party I told everybody......."these things look really ugly, but they are delicious!" Hahahaha! I didn't want to come home with any. There was a TON, and I mean A TON of food. Yea, I did have some fattening stuff, was I was actually very good! I didn't eat alot! Just picked alittle bit and I did take alot of veggies (veggie platter). The party was really fun. They were singing Kareoke......also had a Roast for they guy (Ed). Saw a couple people there that I haven't seen in like 30 years! So it was all a good time. Eve, sorry that you are having crappy weather!!!!! I think we are having your hot/humid weather up here!!!!!!!!! I hope it turns around for you soon and you can get that boat going!!! Stacy: Wow!!! Thanks for the veggie recipies! Awesome!!! I'm going to try some of those. I'm interested in trying the couple with the basalmic vinegar. That's the problem. I eat those veggies plain. ![]() ![]() I need to dress it up alittle! You took alot of time in putting that together. THANK YOU!!! ![]() Well, I got to pick up around here. There's stuff all over the place from me flying around this morning. Then back to work tomorrow! ![]() ![]() See ya, Betty Lou ![]() |

Paula, my friend, how are ya doin' girl?
![]() Had a busy workday. Haven't done the paperwork yet. I will work on that later. Did a couple almost million dollar homes. All I have to say is, there are some people with way too much money. ![]() Gonna do paperwork tomorrow. Will probably be busy this week with work. I am planning on taking the kids to OK next week to spend some time with my parents and my hubby's parents. I am looking forward to it. |

Hi Everybody!
Hope everybody's doing great! Tuesday night I had one heck of a sweet tooth! I was bad...but then again not really. I have to make a dessert for a retirement party tomorrow, and never made this particular thing. Easy, but I wanted to try it first. Since I'm dieting, hubby doesn't get to really eat any junk food/sweets, as he knows I'LL KILL HIM!!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! ![]() ![]() Nah, not really. But it does help when he eats his sweets out in the truck! ![]() ![]() ![]() I made an angel food cake with crushed pineapples and topping is Marichino cherries/low fat cool whip/few sprinkes walnuts. I definitely had a few pieces. I thought I was going to blow it on the scale. But surprisingly.......no! I got lucky. It's very high-carb, but very low fat.......so I think it evened itself out somehow. Or at least I can pretend! ![]() Nothing else too exciting going on. Same sh.t, different day. See ya, Betty Lou ![]() |

ah, I have a few mins to myself to post a little. how's everyone holding under some of our strange weather? We are dry even though we did get a little rain, the heat just sucks it all up. I'm having to water any veggies we put out... and my tomatoes arent ready...so we'll be doing without them for awhile. I have plenty of leaf lettuce, I need to eat it before the bugs do!! STacy, you'll get a kick out of this... I did a real stupid thing... 1st I sold my 4wheeler... wasnt using it, rode Johns mostly , so I got rid of mine... Then....bought a motorcycle... I DONT KNOW HOW TO RIDE ONE!!! hubby informed me after he got home that it was too small for me!! I guess so, but I need something to learn on. then pass it on to the next dummy. So STacy, your gonna have to help me out... what size does a woman get???? THis is a kawasaki 125 Eliminator... yeah its small but it fits me. JUst wont pull John up the hill, which really disappointed me. I figured with gas prices, he could drive it to work.. not gonna happen.. There's one Im suppose to look at this weekend, HOnda 1100cc. but |
