LOL phew! thanks for posting. I was about ready to start posting replies to myself! Hahahahah
Hums the twilight theme score to myself. Ohhhh am so sorry about your loss Betty Lou. My condolences. I hope your friend is hangin in there. It is hard when it is expected but so much more harder when it isn't. Sending hugs and well wishes your way. ![]() Did you go to Englebert this weekend with your mom? ohhhh goody! am glad u r doing the 15 lbs challenge as well. Yep getting under the 200 mark took me a week of absolutely no cheating. I hadn't even really exercised. I am back at it hard core today though. Seems my back is tolerating it okay. I even turned up the resistance on my eliptical machine. This weight is coming off come hell or high water. Hmmm thinking about you being stalled. Maybe it is one of those things that u wake up one morning and it finally goes swoosh over nite. I hope so. Do u like wheat bread? Maybe you should try switching to wheat bread instead of white. Or limit your bread intake. I only allow myself one slice of lc bread per day. It seems if i eat more than that, then i stall. I did make myself a pizza last nite using one of those 6 carb flatout breads. It was pretty darn tastey. I think tonight i will make a white pizza with one and pack it up for lunch tomorrow. OHHHHHH AHHHHHHHH i love craft shows! OMG i have so many craft supplies that it is sickening. I took a few jewerly classes in the past and now i would like to start getting into the silver clay and make some of my own pendants and rings etc. I kept thinking i was going to have to purchase a 500 dollar kiln which i absolutely was not going to pay that much for. But, i found this silver clay that u can use a torch on. So maybe in the future i will check into doing that. Rite now, I am teaching myself how to do mosaic tiling. I have this table i want to do it on and, set outside on my patio. LMAO at the gag gift. What a clever idea. I mite have to borrow that idea from you sometime. My daughter is in the USAF. She is a dental hygienist and stationed in Japan. She has been over there for 2 years. She came home for a visit over a year ago in March 2007. I was saving up the money to go visit her in Japan but she got sooo homesick that i used it to pay for her to come home for a 2 week visit. She loves the water and we haven't told her about the boat. We are going to surprise her. I almost spilled the beans the other nite though. ![]() LOL at the tornado! I think one passed through my house too! What a coincidence That is one thing about having company over. It makes me clean my house really really fast. Hahahaha just don't open up any closets Finally got a nice day out, so i kinda hung out in the yard. Awwwwwww Stacy that sucks, How is that possible that u gained 3 lbs overnite! Grrrrrr that is soooo frustrating. ![]() You should check your scale out. Maybe u had a lot of salt yesterday? Well one thing, if u can gain it overnite, you can lose it overnite too![]() Well i best get something done around here. Talk with you girls later ![]()

Ya start replying yourself and people might think that you are losing it.
![]() Alrighty, Ladies, I have come to the conclusion after yet another heavily carb filled day- I have fallen off of the wagon and need to get back on it. I really need your help. Let's just say that tonight ended (won't even talk about the rest of the day) with a lot of fried rice and homemade pineapple upside down cake. All made by yours truly. I do gotta say, I am a pretty darn good cook. ![]() Induction starts tomorrow. I hope that you guys will ride my tail for the next couple of weeks. Especially the first few days. I need the help, push, support. I know that I can do it- shoot I started out at 231. Why is it so hard now, at the end of the journey?

Lunch was bad. Deep fried, thickly battered, heavily sauced Chinese food.
I dunno... I did after that go buy a ew bathing suit. So, no more mess ups for awhile. It is sexy; I wanna be sexy wearing it. |

Lol Stacy, I would ride your ass harder but, am afraid you mite get angry with me and kick my ass. But i will if that is what u really want. You can't get mad at me and remember u asked for it. (rubs my hands together) this is gonna be fun.
Now tomorrow i want you to start induction!!!!!!! no cheating. And.......... i want a detailed accounting of every morsel you have put in your mouth. Including coffee with creamer and even gum. Are you planning on exercising? If so, i want to know how many crunches you do and etc. Don't forget the water. Now we need to see a pic of this mysterious bathing suit. Preferably a pic of you in it after the 15 lb challenge. So you have till the end of May. Te he. You can't sass me or give me the stink eye either. Hugs BTW how was the company the other nite. |

Hi Everybody!
Went to my cousin's father's Memorial Service this morning. Took personal time off work. And guess what? It is now noon and I've decided to take the whole day off!!!!!!! YAY! It's a sunshiney day out, and I want to do some stuff around the house........house isn't too bad, but I want to get some clutter put away. Cold outside......about 45 degrees, but with the sun, I just might put on my winter coat and take Blaze for a walk alittle later.Just had some shrimp for lunch. And water. I definitely have to up the water, so I started that 2 days ago. It's not like I don't like water, guess I'm just to lazy to go over and get it. LOL! Stacy.......hope you can get back on track. Well, I KNOW you can get back on. Look at how much you've lost so far!!!!! You know, I kinda know that feeling though because after my back surgery 7 years ago, I lost 60 pounds and felt great. Kept it off for a long time. Then, after awhile, who the hell knows what happened, but I gained 45 back over a few years. And that's where I am today. Gotta lose it again. You feel and look so good right now, that it's "acceptable." Ya know what I mean? It's so hard to keep going when you really do look and feel good NOW. And we all strive for BETTER. It's hard. I think a week or two off of the diet does the mind good. Pizza, chinese, cheeseburgers, fries, and all that good stuff is absolutely fine for a little while......small amounts.....so we don't gain. But, then after you get that out of your system, then back to the grind again. I guess writing this out helps me alittle bit too! I know I don't really have to tell you this as you've done sooooo wonderfully great! Maybe a friendly push does help now and then. So, here we are to gently give you a friendly push! And I hope you guys would do the same for me when I have my days!!!!!! Well, that's about all for now.......gonna get started around the house here. Gonna crank the tunes and go for it. Oh, last month I bought these great speakers......Definitive Technology......boy do they put the sound out there, I love 'em!!!!!! See ya, Sue

Thank you! That's true enough, now it is time to get back to the grind. Over the past three days, my body has decided to add 6 or 7 pounds to it. 169.5 today. Wow! I am sure that most of that will come off if I just stick to the correct way of eating (for me). I need to get back on track so that I will feel better (been blah lately) and so that I can hit that 15 pounds too.
So far today, 2 cups of coffee, each with 2 packets of Whey Low (.8 carbs each packet) and 1 TBS heavy cream. Breakfast was 3 strips of bacon and 1 fried egg. Getting ready to get out and about to do my surveys. Will check in after a bit. Got my water; I will get started with that too. ![]() |

Yesterday: L: indian food D: cheesesteak with peppers onions Today B: cheese stick S: lc chips (5carbs) L: cheese and pepperoni 16oz dt cherry pepsi 16oz of water S: sm salad w/bacon bits ranch or caesar D: not sure yet, either asaragus or cauliflower

Way to go Stacy!!! Sounds like u came out of the gates charging
Sorry you are feeling kinda blah Maybe it is the stress of starting a new job and how u were so busy before it with the training in New York and then the bike trip. It seemed like you never even got a day to unwind before u had to wind up again. So maybe that is it. And, I am sure with you working now, you have had to adjust your home routine some. Hope your getting out of your funk![]() Okay Betty Lou, or would u prefer to be called Sue? Water does make a huge difference. It does with me anyways. I have to make myself drink it. I would rather have coffee or tea or a soda. Glad u r taking the rest of the day off. Hope it warms up for you so u can enjoy your walk. It is currently 75 degrees here. I have 3 days off and i hope it will be nice all 3 days. I would like to get outside one of those days to work in the yard. We go get the boat on Thursday. Keepin my fingers crossed that the weather does what the weather man says it will. Eliptical: 3o minutes weights: chest therapy ball: abs and lower back Haven't had breakfast yet. I slept in and wanted to work out first. gonna take your cue Sue and turn on the radio while i clean. Need to go grocery shopping today sometime and still haven't faced the issue of sorting through my clothes. I just can't seem to do it. |

Just walked in the door. Didn't get quite as much accomplished as I would have liked too, but didn't do too bad.
Decided to take DH out to lunch- cuz I was in his neck of the woods. He takes me to a sandwich shop! It is one that we had never been to before. As we were walking in, we saw a guy in uniform. The back of it said, "No soup. No salad. Just sandwiches." I thought, "Aw, crap. Gonna blow it already." Walked in, placed my order and they were able to put my sandwich fillings on lettuce instead of bread. So I had an 8" Italian sandwich sans bread. Oh- and 2 vinegar and salt chips. I have had about half of my water intake for the day. And a piece of gum.*I found the menu online. This is what I had...Real genoa salami, Italian capicola, smoked ham, and provolone cheese all topped with lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, and our homemade Italian vinaigrette. (You hav’ta order hot peppers, just ask!) |

Love beef jerky. Especially homemade.
![]() Just had dinner. Meatloaf (no bread fillers), 2 small roasted red potatoes, green beans, and loaded cauliflower. Not exactly where I should be, but a lot closer to it. So, if I get even closer tomorrow... DH and I took the dogs for a walk this evening (our exercise). It was nice. Our youngest went with us. He needs the exercise as much as I do. He is my chunky monkey. |

Well i think i did okay today
I had a lc toast for breakfast and some eggs. Water water water more water and coffee i didn't eat lunch. I wasn't hungry. I have not been getting hungry lately. Is that a side effect of low carb? I have never done it for this long before. for supper i had a salad with baby tomatoes, cheese and some of those teryaki chicken breasts that are only 5 grams of carbs. That is pretty much it. I make sure i take my benefiber and my multi vitamins daily. But I have been getting these little muscle twitches. Can't be low on calcium i eat enuf cheese. Thinking it mite be potassium. Okay gotta go. you all have a wonderful nite Ohhh btw. Anyone got a really good anti aging cream they use? There are so many out there, it is hard to choose. Good job Stacy Keep it up cutie. You'll be to your goal in no timeBetty Lou, can i keep calling you that? I am used to it now. Justine can u sneak in some nuts to your gs outing? they are portable and keep well. |

Want to stay accountable so i need to add to what i ate yesterday..
Yesterday after dinner: 2 tsp of peanut butter (pb), tuna and boiled egg, a cheese stick and sliced turkey...i felt like i was starving. I drank 5 or 6 16oz glasses of water....yeah me. Today: B: 5 low carb chips S: cheese stick L: Tuna, boiled egg and mayo Not sure what i'm doing the rest of the day...That's part of my problem i have a hard time planning ahead. Drinking water...made a deal with myself for every 2 16oz cups of water i drink i can a a dt cola...so far i have had 2 cups of water and no desire for the soda. So i'm down 2lbs since yesterday that puts me at 232. |

Great Job Justine!
Wow that is awesome Justine! 2 lbs! Sounds like u r off and running. Great job on the water too. hahahah don't u find that u r running to the bathroom every 30 minutes? I drank water yesterday, but not near as much as i should have. I stayed up late and got up late this morning and had to rush to my orthodontist appointment. Didn't get a chance to eat. He tightened my braces and my mouth is sore. It will be a lot more sore later. I had to hurry and get something to eat cuz i felt like my insides were eating themselves. Ran into Taco John's and got a taco salad sans the shell. If u r like me, if i don't get something to eat rite away when i am hungry, then i will pillage and plunder the sweets. Good job on losing that weight. I am impressed. I bet u will drop it fast. One question though, aren't u rip roaring hungry for just eating 5 lc chips for breakfast? I have to have protein first thing in the morning otherwise i feel like i haven't eaten anything. I hope u r feeling better 2. How is the two houses coming?
Well gonna take some pain killers and lay down for a bit. Get some of a beauty rest Hope u girls do well today. Be well. |

Hi! How's everybody doing? Great, I hope! Well, tomorrow we're leaving for Niagara Falls, Canada as soon as hubby gets out of work.....probably about 1p.m. Will be staying over one night in a gorgeous hotel that is connected to the Casino. Engelbert starts at 8:30 p.m. so we'll have some time for a nice dinner and play a few slots. I never win. LOL! I'm not a big gambler, but come on, I'd like to win A LITTLE anyway!!! Sooooo, my Mom is looking forward to going. I'm so glad we're all going together......it's been a while since she's been overnight in a nice hotel, so we should have a good time. Will be back Friday evening. I'm going to take my gym shoes and hopefully go for a walk. The only thing is that it is supposed to be really cold and rain! Ugh!!!! And by the Falls, it's always a little colder. It's been so beautiful for these past 3 weeks, why can't it be good weather just a few more days? Oh well. It is what it is. Hopefully I'll be able to maintain the eating while up there. I'm really into it, so I "should" be able to. You know how it is.......go out..find a nice restaraunt......good food......good appetizers! I hope my will power stays on the high side. I think I might have hit that 205 mark. If the scales says that a few days in a row, then I'll know for sure. So, that makes me want to watch the diet even more as I've put alot of work into these last 5 pounds. After all that I surely don't want to gain!!!!!!!!!! I'm going to take a few fruits and some other low cal stuff with me......not exactly sure what yet, but I'll find something. Eve, sounds like a good movie. I checked out your heart-throb. Not bad looking! I've got a few hearthrobs myself! Robert Redford (although he's looking quite old lately), and Kevin Costner.......YEA BABY!!!! The place where we're going (Avalon Ballroom at Fallsview Casino) is the same place where I saw Kevin Costner and Modern West (his band). Yup, he's in a band. And I was there and saw him up close and personal. Oh my God he's so handsome! We had excellent seats! We went this past January 4th. I've got a clip of him on YouTube. The ushers kept telling me to put my camera away, so it kind of cuts off. Eve, have fun going to get your boat. That's going to be so great when you get it home and eventually get it in the water! I love the lakes/ocean/beaches!!!!!! Can't wait for summer to get here! Oh, and sure, you can call me Betty Lou! I was getting used to it myself! ![]() Justine, congrats on the 2 pound loss! That's grreeeeaaaattt! Wow, only a few chips for breakfast? I'd PASS OUT!!! Good for you!Hi Stacy! Hope everythin |
