Ive been bad again and cant seem to stop... where I lost back down to 190 in the last week Im back up towards 196-8... and the worst part is Im staying sick with the things Im eating... you'd think Id stop. I thought today I would start over and the first thing i stick in my mouth is cake... left over from making anniversary cakes this weekend.
I think if I cant stop the eating i need to get my body moving and at least try to burn the calories. I just hate the weight creeping back and on my stomach. I dont think I could do a tummy tuck,,only because i have little to no will power. I think Id screw myself up if I did. I have no reason why i cant join a local gym...one 5 mins away.
wish I had room to move the treadmill upstairs but it would endup a coat rack....

more later....
maybe less@itching

I am at 163.5. I had a nice binge this weekend. I have a birthday party to attend on Tuesday and a restaurant shop on Wednesday. So, until those are over, I don't know what will change for me.

BUT, I went to the library to check out an Atkins book- to get back on track. There is a new one, The All- New Atkins Advantage. It is a 12-week Atkins approach to the diet, which can be altered to fit your needs. Try to find this book. It seems to me that it is a lot more friendly than I recall the diet being. It adds fruits, low carb breads, and gives you exercise ideas and goals. It is a great book! So, I am reading it, taking notes, and gonna do my best to work it, as it is written. I will start with the 2 week induction and move up the ladder weekly as instructed. Kinda excited about it. I may buy it. I found it on Amazon for either $10 or $15.

Paula, try these out:

Cleochatra's Best Ever Revol-Oopsie Rolls

3 large eggs
1 pkg Splenda
dash of salt
pinch of cream of tartar
3 ounces cream cheese (not Tbsp!) Do not soften!

Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

Separate the eggs and add Splenda, salt, and cream cheese to the yolks. Use a mixer to combine the ingredients together. In a separate bowl, whip egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff (if you're using the same mixer, mix the whites first and then the yolk mixture). Using a spatula, gradually fold the egg yolk mixture into the white mixture, being careful not to break down the whites. Spray a cookie sheet with non-stick spray and spoon the mixture onto the sheet, making 6 mounds. Flatten each mound slightly.

Bake about 30 minutes (You want them slightly softer, not crumbly). Let cool on the sheet for a few minutes, and then remove to a rack and allow them to cool. Store them in a bread sack or a ziplock bag to keep them from drying out.

Makes 6@ about 85 calories a piece, >1 carb per

There is a thread on those right now. http://www.lowcarbfriends.com/bbs/ma...sie-rolls.html I am addicted to these. I have used them to make French toast (AWESOME!), today I had a grilled hot ham and cheese. The other day, I used two of these rolls on a Wendy's Single and was so excited to have an actual sandwich.

All I am gonna say is restaurant shop= sweet martini, shrimp cocktail, bread, filet mignon, mashed potatoes with gravy, sauteed veggies, and tiramisu.

Note to self- no more of these for awhile. Wonder what tomorrow's scale will bring...

164.5. These 160's have been really trying on me. It has been completely my fault, though.

TOM is here, feel like S***. You know how it goes.

I am starting the induction phase again today. 20 carbs or less. 2 weeks. Then gonna start working my way up the carb ladder. I have never taken that step. I guess it has always been all or nothing.

So, my hopes are between TOM and induction, this week's loss should hopefully look wonderful.

Well, if we don't make 15 by Valentine's Day, who cares. Remember that this is a lifestyle that we will be living with for the rest of our lives. As long as we try, we will eventually get there.

I have really missed you on here.

Try those rolls. They are super easy to make. I have made several batches of them so far. Gotta make another batch tonight. For dinner we are going to have grilled chicken sandwiches. Mine will be on two of those rolls. My DH's may be also. Figured we can really do them up. My DH wants bacon and an egg on his. I want bacon, lettuce, and tomato. Gonna do some fresh veggies and ranch with it.

I have had bacon and eggs today. For breakfast and lunch. Just cuz I haven't been to the store yet.

Was really good yesterday. 2 slices of bacon and 1 egg for breakfast, 3 slices of bacon and 2 eggs for lunch (cuz I was busy), and for dinner I had cleo rolls with spray butter and SF syrup. Also had 2 mozzarella cheese sticks for snack.

Didn't get a chance to make my chicken sandwiches. Will do that for dinner tonight.

For breakfast today I had 1 egg and an Italian sausage link with cheese in the middle. That was pretty good. Quite impressed.

Scale said 162.5.

I am doing what I can. Believe me, I shoulda hit goal a long time ago. Tonight I took one of those rolls and sprayed whipped cream down the center, rolled it up and it tasted kinda like a homemade twinkie. :-) Those things are so versatile. People are coming up with wonderful ideas to do with them.

And, hey, just so we are clear, we are in this together. Always.

Weighed 162 this morning.

Had a grilled chicken sandwich last night between two rolls. Winner! Today made some more rolls and turned one into a twinkie again. This time added a few sf chocolate chips down the middle. Helped to take care of the sweets craving I had going on.

Getting ready to get in the kitchen. Gonna do chicken fajitas tonight, so I need to put some fajita seasoning together. Also gonna make some guacamole and pico de gallo. We are possibly having company tonight (dunno for sure yet), and I do know that we will have company tomorrow, so I will make extra dips so that everyone can snack.

So far today, I have had raw veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, and cherry tomatoes) with Ranch dip and 1 homemade twinkie. Not too bad. So far.

I woke up and weighed in at 161. I think that I am finally losing fat weight instead of water weight again. Sure hope so.

Got a cold with a nice, deep, kill your chest (and back and sides) cough. Blah. I feel like I have been sick a lot this winter. I have issues or something. Went and played a game of racquetball with DH this morning and it hurt my chest so bad when I started breathing a little heavier.

I put an exercise bag together to keep in the car. There have been a couple of times that I have thought if I had the stuff with me then I would go exercise, but having to go home to get my stuff and then get back out was too much work. Hope putting the stuff in the car will help. My DS8 is getting kinda chunky. So, we are gonna go play racquetball this evening. I figure if we can both get out and play a little bit, that will help us both.

Made praline pecans last night. Praline Pecans YUMMY! It made the entire house smell so good. They will be difficult for me to stay out of. I am going to send some of them to work with my husband.

Tonight I am going to do some fake shake n bake pork chops and fried cabbage.

I have some loose skin on the area at my thighs and butt. Looks like elephant wrinkles or something. I have started dry brushing my body. I read that that is supposed to help with loose skin, cellulite, and such. I really hope so. Will let you know. Also have lots of extra skin in the stomach and waist area. When I lie down it looks horrible. Maybe that will help. Even a little would be nice.

I am really missing you on here, ya know? Good or bad, would love to see you on the thread a bit more often.

Justine, Mary, and Christi, where are you ladies at also?

I am down to 159. For a day or two anyway.

DH and I are both thinking about becoming insurance agents. Big career change for the both of us. Really scary. But, what we are doing now is not working anymore, so we need to do something.

I'll post more shortly. Gotta make breakfast. I want coffee.

OK, I am back for a minute.

I am still sick. It is horrible. I wonder if it has something to do with dieting? Maybe I am not getting all of the vitamins that I should be. I need to fix that.

I made some more rolls today. Actually made two batches. One regular and one with vanilla, cinnamon, and sugar free chocolate chips. Those ones I am going to top with SF pudding and a little whipped cream as a dessert.

Working on getting our income taxes in order so that I can put them together.

Getting ready to take the next step into becoming an insurance agent. DH got his check today and this is month 3 that we can't make bills. Time for a change. We are actually thinking that maybe he will jump into becoming an agent and I will go out and get a job that pays hourly for a bit. Until he gets a little established we will have some money coming in.

According to the BMI calculator on here, I only need to lose 1 more pound before I finally fall into the healthy weight range. I was talking to DH about that. He is great; so supportive- always. He was telling me that when I hit 150 it may be time to stop losing, work on maintaining and toneing. I have a lot of loose skin on my stomach and thigh area. If I could get rid of it, I would almost be willing to bet I would be down at least 2 pant sizes. It looks horrible! I really should exercise (on a regular basis). I don't know why I keep putting it off.

Being so close to my weight goal but not yet being there is so frustrating. I think that it is worse than being further away. I wonder if the frustration ever actually goes away.

diving in with out a life jacket

Hi Everyone and anyone,
hello anyone out there? I want to find a pen pal but don't know how to go about doing it. I don't even know how to fill out my profile! I am sending out an SOS in hopes of finding an/a individual/individuals that could take a newbie into their lifeboat. This site is cool but a bit daunting to me. I am not new to low carbin it, but am still learning a lot about the low carb WOL. I am a very positive upbeat person and could be a great supporter for others.
Sincerely, Eve

Thanks Stacy,
wow that was fast! Great to get some feedback sooooo soon.
I have read a lot of the posts and I agree, everyone seems down to earth.
Just made myself a awesome sandwich. Called the superbird. You grill it like a grilled cheese with tomatoes, bacon, swiss cheese and smoked turkey. I use low carb bread. I have been trying really hard to drink my water! Ugh never was much of a water drinker. I have found it helped the cravings. I got up this morning and right away i wanted something bad for me, so I downed a glassfull of water and ate some cottage cheese. Viola! craving went away.
A little about me? Here goes. I am from Montana. Have two children one daughter and one son both over 20 whooo hoooo party time! hahahahha
going to Vegas the 18th of this month for my husband and my 24th anniversary. Trying to shed a few more pounds before i catch that plane:aprayer I am 44 and have decided to make LC my WOL. Thanks again Stacy for replying, it really made my day!

take care and be well, Eve

Kids are over 20, huh? I am counting down til mine turn 18 and I can kick their butts out. It will be a happy day around here.

Went to lunch today. Had a few more carbs than allowed. It will probably hit me real good tomorrow. Not gonna stress over it too much. Tonight I am making hot wings and LC coleslaw.

Eve, that sandwich sounds awesome! I am going to steal that from you to try this week. I can't wait!

I will post my weight tomorrow. Hope that I don't do myself in today!

I am starting this week out at 159 pounds. I am very cool with that. I liked being at 158 for a couple of days, but I know not to beat myself up. Just keep rolling.

Well, had some pepper poppers at lunch yesterday. They were good and spicy hot. Last night hot wings. Went to bed and my stomach was on fire! It hurt so bad. Nothing seemed to help it. Guess I won't do that combo again anytime soon.

Thanks Paula. Glad to see those numbers move, too. Part of it is because I have gone through a lot of these posts and have been inspired. We have really kicked some serious butt on here.

Been busy doing taxes today. They have me uber-stressed. Ready to go and crawl under the covers and hide for the night.

I am going to make the cleo rolls tomorrow, i can't wait! Had 3 margueritas last nite. Think it is out of my system for awhile. I started at 200 2 weeks ago but I am not getting on the scale till i see some drastic results. I don't want to obsess over the scale. My goal is 130 lbs. Have a bet with my daughter that i can run a 1.5 mile under 14 minutes. my daughter is in japan and is coming home in june! I better get busy with exercising.

Take care and be well, Eve

Do you normally run? I would like to, but I have never been a runner. I have looked at the Couch-to-5K running plan. Well, I am still on the couch- and my butt shows it.

I didn't try the sandwich yet. It is on the lunch list for later this week.

Alrighty, I will check in tomorrow. Have a wonderful evening.
