Ok that's it i have had enough of myself...i'm tired of the excuses i make and the reasons i eat...i'm tired of being fat, tired and always feeling depressed and sick...i'm tired of not taking care of myself but always being there for others. Time to take back the control and get serious...i don't know why or when i lost my way but i need to get back on the path before all the weight i have lost is...well lost, then found...and I don't want that....so ladies lets get back on the horse..saddle up and get serious again...you girls have been doing so well lets not blow this.

I had a dear friend who years ago went on a "diet" with me. It was fun because we tried to reach goal together. but it almost became a contest. We really enjoyed it though. I guess thats what I would like, someone who would challange me to lose. And to stay at it. Be accountable to...and be able to cheer each other on!

I'm 5'4" 220lbs.
Someone dont have to be those but my idea is to reach goal together.
I do have a unrealistic goal for June 15th. I started Feb 15th 07 and till now have lost from 239 to 220lbs. My goal is to be around 175 by June 15th. I may be pushing it. But I think I can do it.. Anyone up to the challange?
We can start a post somewhere and keep up stats, etc .

Hello Christy!~
Welcome!

I'm still struggling.. it seems as winter comes on, so does the weight. I, like the rest of the girls have been battling it seems like the last month or two.

I'm trying to re-induct but keep messing up... today I started with a steak for bfast. That should hold me till noon. I found some on sale. Sad so many farmers are having to take the cattle to market because of droughts but sure looks good in my freezer.

Sorry I havent checked in... this has been a long weekend, good but long.

Justine, I know how you feel. I wish I could just think thin therefore I am... LOL~
Its so easy to slip junk in... I made some choc-nobake cookies for one of the guys my husband works with... you know the cow patty cookies!... anyway I made more for the girls and ended up eating them too and ruined the rest of the weekend! I get so mad at myself. I guess its just a take it one day as it comes. Im with you. Im tired of the weight.

Christy, whats the ages of your children?
I have one left at home thats 13yr. We're not doing very well in the homeschooling department. Neither her nor I can get motivated. She started doing subject by subject instead of a full program of 7 different subjects. She has finished her spelling for the year but reading will continue all year, Now she is on biology/science. I hope this works better for her this year. She barely finished last years subjects and got behind.

Okay ladies, hope everyone is good.

John finally got a Buck! Nice 10 pointer. I wasnt with him, I was at home getting ready for church, it should have been mine!!! I did see a few Does Saturday and just made my heart patter! But it was buck only weekend. He is going to mount this one. So I guess I will being saving some $$ to pay for it... LOL.. Im so proud of him. I will try to post a head shot when I can get one from his phone..

More later!!!

I have also been trying to get on track. I am going to stop the fruit for a while and see if that helps. I have finally gotten back to exercising on the rebounder and gazelle, but it is too cold to do the walking...although the last couple of days have been real nice.
I hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving and stay on track...I am going to sure try. I'm on my way up to the recipe dept. to pack up on Lowcarb recipes and ideas. Hugs...>^.,.^<

Happy Thanksgiving Ladies! Welcome Christy!

Ok, I am hopping back on track today. Been way off track for the last (month) or so. I am back up to 167.5. That is a 4 pound gain that I once again have to lose. DH, got after me because when I quit checking in here and holding myself accountable (in other words, avoiding the scale and avoiding the site) I let the diet go and therefore, the weight has started to come back. I am here to apologize to you ladies and to apologize to myself. The excuses are gone and I am back.

I really don't know with all of the holidays and holiday parties that are here how much I will be able to lose by the end of the year. So, my goal is to lose the four pounds that I have put on, play racquetball for an hour at a time at least three days a week, and come up with a plan that will keep me a bit more in check when I am not at home to fix my own meals. I need to hold myself responsible.

I hope that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We did. We had friends over (family really) that came and ended up spending the night. It was so much fun. There was so much (HC) food made and leftover. I think that tonight I am gonna do a LC turkey potpie (need to find the recipe on here).

Gotta run, but I will check back in tonight.

I survived Thanksgiving. Did nibble on some stuffing but didn't go overboard. Today's a new day and I'm back on track. Didn't gain any weight. That's a good thing, huh? Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving.

Didn't do the pot pie last night. Told everyone to eat leftovers so that I don't feel the urge to nibble on them. Had DH take a cheesecake to work that one of our friend's brought over and left. I am down 1 pound today. 166.5. The holidays are gonna be a lot harder than I had thought they would.

BTW, Paula, your cow patty cookies, we call them dinosaur poop.

Alrighty, beginning of day 3 of being back on track. What is really bad, though, is I have been lots better, but not really as on track as I should be, and I am down another pound. Which tells me, I was REALLY off track. Not that I have been that bad. Had a croissant roll last night. One of those that you make from the can kind. I think something like 11 or 13 carbs. Wasn't near as bad as it could've been.

I want to sit down today and come up with a menu for the week. I need to keep it as inexpensive as possible. Payday really can't get here fast enough. Tonight, DH is grilling T-Bones that I just took out of the freezer. I am also gonna make some leftover broccoli casserole to go with it.

Hope that y'all have a great day.

Wanted to drop in and say hello...

Stacy, just keep it up.. you can get those pesty extras back off.. and the racquet ball sounds like a good idea.

I've been horrible but could be worse I guess.

Im around 194.. so four for me too..

Each day I try to start over but end up failing by mid day... I have been trying to stop eating by 4pm... by that time Ive over ate anyway.

I'll be back on Monday.. we did our dinner today.. just a nice relaxing day.. no frills or fuss...

Have a good one!

Just wanted to drop in real quick. Got a busy shop day ahead of me. Had a very busy one yesterday. I left the house at 11am, got home at 7:30pm. I was up in the Denver metro area. Drove about 185 miles round trip. Got caught in lots of stop and go traffic, it took me almost 3 extra hours to get home. So, finally got home and DH and I decided to go get dinner cuz neither of us wanted to cook. Got home at almost 10pm, then I had to do paperwork. That took me until 1:45 or so in the morning. Then had to be up bright and early this morning. So, I am tired, cranky, and not looking forward to the day. Also, I have another super busy day tomorrow. Yeesh! And to think, I brought it all on myself.

I weighed in at 165.5 again this morning.

Afternoon Ladies!

Hanging around the house today, trying to get it cleaned up. The house has really begun to suffer with my being out and working so much lately. Today is a pretty laid back day. Been doing laundry. Lots of it.

Still haven't been real good with eating properly. Been lots better. I have had several restaurant mystery shops and that isn't helping me much. I have two more of them this weekend. I have not scheduled any more of these. I need to back off on how many of them I do. Today I weigh 165.5. I am ok with that.

Dropping in while I have a chance. This week will be busy. I have 7 petticoats to make for girls. We're having our 50's party a week from today. I got put behind because our heat had gone out and we had to replace our heat/ac unit.. we went from gas back to ele. I cant take $250 gas bills anymore.. but now we are in debt for a new unit. oh well.

I have a bunch of girls coming out today to get fitted for poodle skirts and slips, so while they are here they will be cutting out black music notes for the decorations.
I have cake in the oven thats a car shape. Im gonna try to make a 57 chevy out of it.. if it goes well I'll do it again next week.. I was gonna do bumper cars but it would have been too much work and details.

Thats what Ive been up to in a nutshell!
I'm back down to 189. I'm going to have to watch my calories for awhile if I want to lose. I think my body isnt being fooled anymore.

Okay ladies.. have a good week!! or weekend.. I forget what day it is!!!
Hugs ya'll

Hi Y'all! It looks like it is Tennessee's day to check in...Hi Paula.
We replaced our heat pump last year and DH wanted to go to gas...I got the final vote and we stuck with electricity. From the sounds of your post, I'm glad I did.
I am holding onto my 5 lb loss. I lost it before Thanksgiving...not all at once but a little at a time. When I do eat I am able to stay on track with lowcarb.
OK kids, I am off to clean the camper up. C-ya later...>^.,.^<

Stop drop and roll.. thats what I feel like... stop in kitchen ,drop a few morsels of this and that in mouth and roll back out again! I'm just not on fire!

I cant seem to get myself back in gear... too much holiday stuff on the tv tempting me to visit the fridge and cabinets.

I'm planning on enjoying myself this weekend.. so I know I will pay for that.. I was hoping to do good this week so I could splurge a little.

Everyone have a good week!
me!~
