hi, that will be cool. Where in south texas are u. I was raised in Houston, Aldine to be specific. Moved from there when my kids were in elementary. Lived in Colorado for years, moved recently to Georgia. Let me know how you are doing. I just started, so, not much to brag about now, but hope to soon. Tell me a little about yourself. I am married, 2 grown kids, 2 grandkids, and one pup, a yorkie, spoiled rotten. I like to read, work in the yard, and I like music. I am currently learning to play the mandolin. It is pretty cool.
Hope to hear from you soon

Hi there. I live in San Antonio. I moved here about a year ago from Virginia as the company I work for has a larger office here. I have not been to Houston yet but want too. I am single w/ no kids and one doggie who happens to be a yorkie as well. I love him so much and he too is spoiled.

As for hobbies, one of my new found passions is beading. I am addicted. I have been making many nice necklaces and earrings which I am so excited about. I also like to listen to music, read, and write poetry.

The first time I started lowcarbing I had reached an all time high weight of 283lbs. I did Atkins for a few months and loss about 30lbs but then I stalled so I decided to try low fat which was a big mistake because I gained 20lbs back of what I had loss. Learned the hard way that low cal/lowfat was not for me. I have been back on Atkins for about 2 weeks now (starting weight 272.8) and as of this morning I am 262.6.

Well I think thats enough about me. Hope to hear from you soon.

hi

sorry it took so long to get back to you. I have been so busy. We are home 1 more week, and then we are gone again. My daughter and grandkids are coming next week to visit. Cant wait to see the kids. They are fantastic. I have totally blown the diet, before i even got started. But, i am still comitted to doing it. It sounds like you are doing good. Keep it up. I know it will be sooooo worth it.
San Antonio is beautiful. I have been there several times. I love the river walk. When the kids were little, we went there every year in the summer and went camping and tubing on the guadalupe river. A lot of memories there.
So, let me know how you are are doing, okay. Hope to hear from ya soon.

I have to lose at least 100 pounds. I'd love to keep in touch with you!

Do you travel for work or pleasure? I'm a homebody. Work to home and back. But someday I hope to get to travel, once the kids are grown up and moved on their own.

Hi

Tavel for work, unfortunately, but it is still better than a time clock. My biggest dream would be to get to go somewhere that food is all prepared for you, and someone is always there to kick you in the butt, to make you get going. I know that aint gonna happen oh, well. I would like to just like to be able to stick with it and not go crazy doing it. Anyhow, this week didnt go anywhere for me. I had the grandkids visit this week for spring break. I really enjoyed it, but i got no dieting done. Anyhow, let me know how youre doing.

Hi I'd like to be your penpal too

hi I'm 49 with one grandkid in the oven.
My goal is to reach 120 by my birthday in November. I am currently at 167 and have a mini-goal to be at 150 by June 21st. Weight has really been a health issue for me and I'm sick of it. I have hypothyroidism and I don't know what came first the chicken or the egg. Did weight cause it or did it cause weight. Well anyway, I've started the hot flashes then have started induction with Atkins and now the hot flashes have majorly subsided. Even with alot of coffee drinking. I feel so much better. Now my doc says eat the healthy fat, go low carb, but eat the healthy carbs. So even on induction, I'm trying to concentrate on olive oil, flax oil, and avacados for fat. And go a little lean with the meat. So that's my story.
I'm here if you want another penpal
