Searching for Albuquerque Low Carbers

I have been thinking that there must be several low-carbers here in Albuquerque and the surrounding area. It's a BIG city (at least to me

)
I would love to find out how many of us there are. I have some really cool ideas brewing in this head of mine, and would like to get a feel of how many of us there are

Hi Mary - only temporarily.

I'm stuck up in Jemez Springs (out towards Cuba on the back way to Los Alamos) until Tuesday - I rescheduled my flight tomorrow just in case the roads were still closed.

Hey, if you do come up with some great ideas, maybe some of us elsewhere in the country can follow suit, if it makes sense.

I wish I were closer! I'm about 60 miles southeast of Clovis, NM.

If you find some peeps and have a get-together, I'd be interested!!

WOW Sandra! I can't believe you were visiting SO CLOSE! Can you BELIEVE the snow? They said on the news yesterday that we have had record snowfall for the history of the state of New Mexico! I get the sinking feeling it is because we moved here

I hope you are able to get a flight out soon. I made it back from New York BARELY Thursday night.
I AM hatching an idea but I need to think it through a bit more before I present it. I am strongly feeling that we, as lowcarbers, are growing in numbers, and that there are more people out there striving to work at this lifestyle. As with any lifestyle changes, support is key to success AND to maintenance. I know that even with maintenance, there are a few people who do it in stride, but for myself, I am really needing some encouragement and even personal contact with others that are on this life long journey also.

I visit my MIL quite often in Albuquerque,every 4-5 weeks or so.Would love to have a get-together!!
