hey

I did precor for 15 minutes and jogged (non-stop) for 6 MINUTES! Don't know the distance, but according to my other route (which I jogged the same pace today) I jog .30 a mile in 3 minutes...so .60 mile!?!
Probably? Anyway-who cares, 6 minutes JOGGING is amazing.

Also decided to give this Kimkins a try. It seems strict and it just might be the exact push I need for a serious woosh by next Friday. Don't know if I will weigh this Friday or not, kinda want a big result. Oh, knowing me I will weigh !!!
I had the 2 hb eggs, 1 coffee
sausage
delicious roast for dinner
plan one tea for snack later...not a lot of food, but trying to get deep into ketosis.
go to my picture on my sig, click above it and visit my profile, there is a pic from New Years Eve....that is one of the reasons I am so diligent, I cant frickin believe how BIG I am. Well, not for long.
OK, on a hunt to find my arm weights...have this kick ass 6 minute arm/ab routine DVD I want to do later.
Love-Jina
PS-check out my journal, its about the other part of my new found motivation from the other night.

after dinner check in

Where are my girls at? Aren't you guys 2 hrs ahead of me? I'm just checking in to say I worked out again twice today. I had a couple cheese slices with my glass of red wine at dinner but I did really well today. Let me know how you both are and I'll talk to you in the morning.

Look at us go.....9 pages and counting!!

I think we just moved up into the 3 most active thread slot!! Yahoo for us!

Jina, if I am the Curves Queen, you are the Running Machine!!! How do you do it?!? You are awsome!!! I'll catch up soon, I promise! Good Job!!! You are doing great on your eating and I can't wait to see your results tomarrow!! And if you do Kimkins, I am anxious to see how it works! FabYOUlous!! 15 minutes on the Precore, wholly S!!!!

T, you are doing so well. I must admit I didn't hold much hope for you the way things were going before. It was discouraging, but I am so glad to see you are serious about this now. 2 workouts again is awsome, it really is going to bump you up to the next level! And I am happy to see you are eating on your WOE. Pat on the back to you! And how did you post your pic within a post? Me being a comp grad I should be able to figure it out I am just lazy about doing it.

Ok, some new things I have found. Soy Slender, choco or vanilla, both are just 1 net carb and 70 calories, 1 cup. I like soy milk, but finding one that had less carbs than regular milk was proving to be a pain in the ass, but finally this one taste good and is good for you! Oregon Chai Sugar-Free, it goes really well with the above soy milk to make a mean cup of chai tea, as good as the Star Mart's! Yum!!

Last night E and I did our 30min cardio and then did some weight training to Denise Austin, total of about 20 minutes! I can't believe we did 50 minutes of exercise at 11pm, we are crazy!! That is another thing I was going to let you girls know. Did you know that at 4:30am our time T, Denise Austin has 2 half hour exercise shows on lifetime. I have been Tivo'ing them for a week or so, now I have workouts anytime I want without having to put in a DVD, great alternative! Jina, check 'em out cause she really does easy to do (in the sense of not having to have all sorts of equipment) toning exercises.

Allright girls, my mom is at work today so I will be able to check in more often today, yeah!! Big hugs, Ash

Thursday good morning

I just finished working out and breakfast. Jina..girl..it was so easy but I just went back to double check how I did it and I tried to post another pic and it wouldn't let me. I just went to the user control panel and clicked option 2 and clicked a file from my computer. It originally uploaded and posted..but when I went to to do it again it said no file..maybe cuz there is a pic already? I don't get it either. I've seen other people post pics in their postings. I'll get my 14 yr old daughter to figure it out..she is a pic posting fanatic. I hope you girls have a good day.

Thursday

Good morning. Busy here today....I am looking forward to the scale next week. So far I am liking this KE thing.....I think it's good to stick to basics for a bit.

I am spreading out my food throughout the day, at least 5 mini meals, but not hungry at all and I stop all foods (PERIOD) by 7 which I have done this week-and it hasn't even been a challenge.....love it! I guess habits are hard to break, when I sit at night to watch tv or whatever-I feel like I need to have something-even when I am not hungry-so I don't but its really weird.

Couldnt find my arm weights, that sucks...guess I will have to buy new---doing it w/o just isn't enough for me.
Another 50 degree day here today and we are walking w/ jog intervals. Very excited about that. After the 6 minutes yesterday I am totally pumped...will keep it 6 min. again and then see what happens!!

T- what WOE are you doing? Cheese and Wine? I never lose weight eating that way! Guess your double workouts will kick it into gear for you.

ASHLEY! Hows it going w/ mom? How was yoga booty?

Didn't get to Yoga Booty last night, darn, forgot. We got into the other workouts, will try to get it in today. Plan to walk this morning with E, couple of miles, I am going to put on my pedometer.

Woops, I must have skimmed over the wine and cheese part, of your post T. You should skip the wine and just go for the cheese!

Thong undies..........Do either of you have (day)dreams of looking good in thong underwear. Maybe it is not about actually wearing them, but more about if I wanted to I could. LOL!! Right now if I put some on they would just restrict blood flow to all my nether regions, and below :-D And not like I ever feel like I need to floss my butt, but if I lose weight, the fact that if I wanted to I could. I don't know, just a funny thought running through my head, I am silly!! Ash

WOE for me

I know you girls would both get on me for the wine n cheese/ or wine or cheese Anyway, don't worry..I had 2 baked chicken strips with zucchini and that's it. I had a glass of wine with hubby and I was still hungry so I grabbed two slices of havarti cheese. I know I have to cool it on the alcohol since the body has to burn it off first. My WOE is basically anything that is a whole food..no box stuff or artificial stuff. I eat lean protein and veggies most of my meals but I do believe in fruits..the benefit outweigh the carbs in it. I mostly do berries and kiwi..stay away from other high sugar fruits. I don't do milk cuz I believe it isn't that good for you and besides..way too much sugar in it..oh..that's also something I avoid completely and have no problem..EXCEPT I do have a square of %72 cocoa dark chocolate once in a while. You guys are great..keep on me. I tell my sister when I'm bad to stab me with a fork

ashley!!!!!

You are HILARIOUS! I have once, a long time ago---tried the thong......not for me. I would though, like to wear bikini underwear or low rise undies and make them look GOOD! I have too much going on to leave unattended to, so I wear FULL COVERAGE (AKA-granny panties!) but they are cute Victoria Secret ones, not Mama's Family ones.....

Well, I did the unthinkable but needed to be done thing last night. Put on a size 18 slim fit Old Navy jeans. 2 years ago I was down to about 225 and I wore them, and they were very roomy, probably could have been a 17 if they actually made that size. ANYWAY-I have since gotten up to a size 22 from their womens dept. (the 18's were from the general area) and have a pair of 20's that are pretty good now. BUT-I want to get into those 18's by Feb. So I put them on, thank god for the tiny bit of stretch they do have, I managed to finagle them over my booty and all the way up but there are SEVERAL inches left to spare to get them closed. Instead of me crying about it, I was really MOTIVATED by it. Kate was like, "you are crazy-why do you do this stuff?!?!?"
I did figure out the way to upload pic, its actually at the bottom of a reply to thread - and it was pretty easy, but the pic was TOO big. Will fiddle w/ it later!

OK, so the great news---I am SOOO not hungry today. Have eaten leftover roast at 7a and 10a and now salmon, blackened (and grilled) and some grilled shrimp.
We walked today---it was windy. Our 1.whatever mile route takes us 25 minutes usually. Today it was only 20 minutes and I jogged 6 of those minutes.... part was all uphill!!
tonight I will do pilates w/ my sister---its always a great workout, we dont hold back!!!
How are the workouts today girls??!?!?
Did I mention how good I feel w/ this low low carb lower fat plan?! So far---awesome and I am even still waiting for my period....that always drains my energy....things are looking great!

Bundles of Energy here TOO!!!

E and I just finished, well and hour ago, a three-mile/45 minute walk with weights! Yahoo, I feel so great and energetic!

Jina, you go girl!!! Since you ran today I am going to run also! I am going to try for 5 minutes, so send me some of you running vibes

I thought you might get a kick out of my under garmet thoughts! You want to hear something embarassing!?! About 2 years ago when E's mom came for her visit, she brought everyone undies, and me she brought those granny-front-butt-holder-inners, I was mortified!!!!!! But, they did work well!! I guess it is customary to give corsett type undies to newly delivered women! Oh MY!!! Anywho, I have many woes about underwear, I would just like to look good in some. No cottage cheese!

Well, I had my turkey gyros for brunch, and plan to have some roast pork and broccoli for a snack later. Pilates for sure tonight, already made it a date with E and we will do our cardio kick box to warm up.

I feel great and happy today!! Sending happy vibes to you both!! Ashley

Hey..

So Ash..you really were gonna give up on me? maybe cuz you don't know me well I knew I was going to do this for real and I had no doubt even though I was messing up here and there. Funny you talk about thongs..I tell my sister if you are over 150 lbs..your thong..isn't a thong anymore..it's a WRONG! lol I can't even remember the last time I put on a pair of jeans. That is my goal..to look good in jeans..when I do..that will be the weight I will maintain. Probably around 155. Heres what I've eaten today...

B - steel cut oats w/almond slivers
S - green tea
L - halibut w/veggies n small salad with ginger dress (went to lunch w/hubby)
D - will be having a turkey burger n grilled onions..yep..that's it

great!

T- are you at work, or where are you w/ mid day check in about working out???? Glad you felt the about the cheese and the wine. Great for Cholesterol (LDL), bad for burning off before burning fat!!!!

I must say, I am still realllllly satisfied. The more I read in that KE/Kimkins thing----these people have INSANE results. As long as I keep up w/ exercise so as not to lose the muscle-I can drop a ton of weight really quickly.

The lady that started the thread never drank water and never exercised and she lost 160 pounds in 9 months. It equates that of a gastric bypass patient, which my Kate has lost about 130 in that time frame......amazing.

Day 2 of the Kimkins plan is going swimmingly---but I dont know if I should weigh tomorrow-after the weekend and holiday of CHEATS FROM HELL I was back up to...get this: 258. I am sure several pounds of water, since I am still waiting on TOM, but it is amazing how you can gain when you reintroduce carbs or have some cheats. Anyway- my point is- I want a big number since my sig. already says 250 and I know it wont be that, or lower.....will be looking for your weights though girls!

Well, I don't like to sugar coat things so if you hadn't started to look like you were really going to give it your all, I was going to let you fade. So that is why I am happy to see you really working for your goal! Your menu today looks good! Halibut, yum!

The thong/wrong thing is so funny and so true! I see too many people with "Whale Tail" that have no business being in a thong.

No jeans, whoa, I would die without my jeans! I really need to go shopping though, my size 18/17's are way too loose and 16's are roomy, but I am affraid to go try on a 14, what if it doesn't fit? Maybe I'll wait another 2 weeks or so.

Jina, I think you should weigh. It might bother you all day if you don't. I am glad that day 2 of Kimkins is going well, and 2 days of Kimkins eating and exercise is probably all you need to get back to where you were or less!

Ash

hey!

Well, winding the evening down myself....feeling low but I wont hog the post w/ another novel of mine-i'll kick it to the journal.

Anyway-bad ass diarrhea today, I am feeling so bad-----everything running through me. This usually happens the day before and first day of my period so that is good...get ON WITH IT ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
T- I to am believing you are serious now. I had my doubts, but you are coming around and I am proud of you. You should be seeing the scale move, weighing tomorrow right? Hope to hear from ya early, I cant wait to hear the news on Fridays.
T- you ROCK for doing the bike! Is that one or two workouts for you today?!
Ash-the thread.....go to where you search up top (to find destinations here on this site) go to OTHER PLANS (OK, like I needed to all caps. that!?! HA!) and got to KE/KIMKINS links, there are sooo many posts, girls...its amazing.

I ate a little bit of roast and a huge glass of h2o making me a water baby today-for sure! Then a cup of chicken and tomato broth. 1 carb, 15 calories, diluted it to half for sodium purposes.

IF you go to my journal, you'll find out why I am kinda down and hopefully upload that damn jeans pic.
Ash-wait just 2 more weeks, for the size 14's. That way there are NO if's and or BUTT's!! You're gonna rock them!

You make me laugh!!

Jina, I think we are much on the same wave length with our humor, you are so laugh out loud funny!! I love ya for it!! And in 2 weeks there won't be any if's or butt's about it, E says that is the part he is really missing about me, now that I am losing weight, LOL! He is a butt man for sure! Which has always worked out for me since I have always suffered from a severe case of J.Lo butt! haha!

T, you make me proud!! Good job on sticking with it!

Awsome Awsome! I am off to read your journal Jina, talk to your girls in the morning! Ashley

Yipee!!! 193 flat! Wow, after bites of things here and there early this week, I was hoping for at least a 1 pound loss, so a 2.something loss is great! A good way to start the new year! Haven't read your posts yet, can't wait to see!! Ash
