Sounds like you scored big with all the things you picked out, and you found a wii before christmas, that is luck!! Did you have to wait around in lines at Target? I have looked everywhere for an extra remote and I can't get my hands on one...oh well, maybe for El Dia de Los Reyes....Couldn't find a dumb extra control for the VSmart..go figure.

Oh things in my world can ALWAYS be better but I wont complain. Especially when I have that baby girl. SO excited for her Christmas. As for me, I am doing really not much as far as finishing up shopping the next two days- stay outta my way!! I am going to remember that it's Christmas, I have money to spend on people I love and a close parking space or someone retarded that gets in my way or irritates me is out doing the same...chill is the name of the game.

Still so much to do. Patients have been bringing in fruit baskets left and right. Rebecca (who has lost 70 pounds btw!!) and I told our patients a while back, dont bring junk - just dont. SO they have been bringing gifts and fruit. Gift cards, bath and body works stuff and nuts. It's been good.

Love the new car T, white is my LEAST fave color for a car though....lol.

Alright...off to do something productive.

Early evening,
E has started to get up with Maya twice a week to get her on the bus to allow me to have some sleep time and him some time with her, it has been so great to know that I don't have to get up every day. So today was day #4 of that, and then we all got ready and went to have breakfast and check out food options for Xmas. I thnk we are going to have chicken breasts stuffed with cheese and ham, not breaded, and some good salad, some potatoes au gratin, ensalada de noche buena (an interesting concotion of fruit and veggies) and pie of cake...I hope one of E's cousin's husband brings cake from his work, he works at a really yummy american bakery.

So yesterday, inspired again by T's lc'ing, I did a day of lc and again today, I would like to keep it that way until xmas so I can enjoy the cake a few beers...get ahead of the game Lots of water, but it seems hard to remember to drink all day long for some reason...I wonder why with all the goings on of this time of year.

Yesterday I made some skinless chicken thighs that I browned in my Ikea pan and then simmered in a little lemon juice, garlic, salt pepper, and whole cumin seeds. They turned out very tasty, and the sauce that it made was perfect for over rice for the kids and on my broc.

Other than that, not too much to report. Any plans for New Year's? Ash

Jina that is so great that the patients actually listened to you and didn't bring in junk. Rebecca has lost 70 pounds already, that was really fast, good for her! I bet the old people have to clean their glasses when they come to make sure it is still the same two people,lol. A.

GOOOOD morning. Ready for a break from this place, after noon today I get 5 days off!! HORRAY!! So, I did shop last night, went well....decided to get B a really high thread count sheet set and new down comforter, the icy silver blue sheets are gorgeous...I am having them monogrammed w/ her initials! I paid extra for 2 addtl. cases, I hate that you only get two generally, who only has two pillows?? SO, I am buying Jena a wine refrigerator today, excited for that...finish up stela and some little things for my girls, bonus was more than last year, YAY! SO, all is going well here...getting lotsa snow this weekend.

Yes the patients do double takes and know we are up to something. It's been really nice.

As for your menu...awesome!!! I am HUNGRY!

Weighed in today at 280, finally getting out of those 80's - can't wait!!!

Hey guys how are you this morning?

Yesterday was another busy day for me but R and I had much needed alone time that was very nice. We even came home for a quickie before we had to get the kids. I know..TMI

Ash I didn't know I could inspire you You like white...I like white too but I wanted black (my first choice) but it is R's car so... No I didn't wait in any long lines..forget it man! not me! I knew they would be getting shipments in after the 15th so I waited then called two targets and one by my house had um in so in 8 mins I had my Wii. The same thing with the car we made a phone call and the car was ready and then signed papers and left..too nice! My kinda business!

Hey G - I bet you are excited for Stel..so cute when they are that little and the toys don't break the bank right? What is the big ticket item? I always loved to get the kids (when they were about 2-3) that plastic little tykes type desk that has the alphabet magnets..too fun. Doe she have the blue rocking horse?...also a good thing. What about the special girl in your life? How is Bre doing? I think about her and those babies...

Ok well I hope you girls have a great day..it's a short one for me..the big kids out at 11 and little one out at 12:45 so we are off!

good afternoon girls,
we got up early today to take Caro and the kids to the zoo, she was amazed at how well the animals were kept and how clean it was. It was a good long walk through the zoo and it was only36 degrees, then we went and warmed up with a bowl of hot soup and now I am going to do my dance lessons that I have on tape again.

How has your day been so far?

Well Maya just got home from school, vacation has officially started. I need to find a dress for xmas even dinner and dancing at a fancy club tomarrow. Caro got invited by one of E's cousins, and I told I would go along...keep her from getting trouble, haha.

Stela is getting a really beautiful pair of earrings for xmas from Santa, that's the big ticket item, she has too much crap that just gets broken...I do want to get her a shopping cart too though!

I had my Mom give me money for the stuff I found for myself at American Eagle, settled on clogs there, cable knit, gray, beautiful....and new underwear, I am throwing out all my old bras, socks and undies...it's time for an entire new start w/ that crap!!

As for today, out of town for the down comforter before the weather starts and then to Dillards for that wine refrig for Jena....its a cuisenart (SP?) and BEAUTIFUL!!! She is gonna die....

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE!!!

Hi there girls, omg has it been crazy, sorry haven't been in but just today was I able to unpack and unclutter the computer desk to see the laptop.

Tonight we are going to E's cousins house for a big party and everyone is sleeping over there, so we are going to do the whole open gifts thing before we go tonight. We let the kids open one thing this morning, it is keeping them busy while I make all the stuff for tonight that we are taking.

hi girls. big storm here today. I am so irritable lately, not too sure why, everything bugs me....I hate that.....anyway,
Christmas was amazing.....stela was so delightful and FUN!! She was so spoiled...she has this little dirt devil vaccum, like mother like daughter, she was tearing up the hard wood floor cleaning...lol. I got so much great stuff, Jena bought me the flowerbomb perfume, my victoria secret lip plumper and gloss, a $50 gift card to the Buckle (it's like an american eagle) for new jeans...a digital photo key chain that holds 50 pics, SO EXCITED!!! and a miggity mac bottle of Patron. Also this collectors wine glass from a really nice dept. store here....all in all, WAYYYY too much. She is the best. I got the Covet perfume set from Bran, also the nike running watch I wanted and DIAMOND earrings! Princess cut, 1/2 carat...gorgeous. She is too much!
More clothes and other goodies, her family was so good to me and stela as well...Bre ordered me this hot sweatshirt from Hollister (t, I know your kids know that store) but it was too small so I picked out another one...now I am on the hunt for a new purse....I want a really nice one, which is weird, because I am so not a purse person.

Christmas eve was very nice..it was just us..we went to dinner and came home and sat around the tree..very mellow. The kids were happy and we scored with B's new electric guitar - I call him my guitar hero I've always spoiled my kids at Christmas time so they were happy. Oh and I've been looking for a purse for 2 yrs now. I have a Coach bag with a long strap (don't like the short strap purses) and I just haven't found one I like to replace it.

M and J are coming in Feb to celebrate their 40th birthdays. They are having a big party and both will be here for about 5 days. I am looking forward to that.

Ash I have been bad..not watching at all what I eat or working out. You would be disappointed. How are you? Please come and tell us what you've been up too and how the kids' liked their gifts?

hello out there I have been down here at my mom's for a few days...and feeling guilty everyday I get in bed and am falling asleep and realize that another day has gone by without getting online here.

Looks like you both had very nice christmas, we did too, as always the kid got way too much stuff...how does that happen?!?! E and I and his family had a great party time christmas eve, a great bunch of dancing.

Now we are about to head back up to portland to get home just in time for New Year's. Mom is staying with kids and E and I have plans to go out Salsa dancing with Fofo and Caro and a bunch of people.

Food wise, I have totally been off track, way off, but I figured since T and I were going to focus on exercise, I have been doing pretty good with all the dancing and exerciseI have been getting in. A new year is coming and I will get to my second goal of 145 this year....I have been farting around too much already,hahaha.

hi!!! Glad you both are doing well. Ash, the kids always get too much, right? I am excited to see pics from your salsa night out??? YOU taking camera??? T, I am totally happy for your visit w/ the girls...OMG it's been too long. So, M didn't come home for Xmas??? How are you adjusting anyway? Getting easier??

That guitar looks awesome...what a great feeling being able to make our kids happy right?? As far as the exercise and dieting goes for you two...you are both doing well and let's face it, other years, lotsa gain goes on....at least you two are still working on it! KUDOS! As for me, well....yes. Tomorrow is my first running day. Powering up the mp3 and figuring out my nike watch today so I am good to go tomorrow. I might do the eliptical for a half hour, we'll see....I am nervous about actual running, but I honestly cant wait. Just not sure where I would do it.....inside the house used to work but now my sister is down there. Hmm...will work it out.
Jena just got a new coach purse, everyone seems to have it, the brown one that is cloth like....I like Kathy VanZealand bags....but we'll see. I have that shower for Rachel this saturday w/ the bridal party. that wedding is like, 7 or 8 wks away, can you believe it?

Kate and I are starting to take every other weekend and a night through the week w/ stela. she is very sick and I was tending to her for 48 hrs on fri and sat. Kate has her finally yesterday afternoon and today, but wants to bring her back already, I was like...um...just because I am off today doesn't mean you get to bring her back early, your not having her for a while. I take this weekend AGAIN and Kate has new years eve plans. Whatever.

SO, we went out last night as an early new years eve.....it was fun, this hole in the wall bar, with our friends....they had a Wii there...OMG I want one. That bowling was SOOO fun. We played pool and darts and even karaoked...I think I sang My Girl. Anyway, here are a few pics. That guy GG is awesome, a real sweetie...we were dancing to Michael Buble, "save the last dance for me". My one and only dancing w/ the stars moment...
