That being said, looks like the cleaning bug has caught your mid-western friend as well...the house is empty (for once) cept for stelly and I. I rearranged, kitchen and living room, swept and mopped every room, rearranged my room and went through stel and I's clothes...we officially have nothing, lol. I got rid of anything and everything that doesn't fit either of us or that we will not wear, time for a clean out change. washing my bedding and doing several loads of laundry, heck - I even cleaned out under the kitchen sink....I am in a mood, guess crash is coming, I always know when I get clean fever.

Glad you are still biking it T, are you cooking tomorrow? Ash your menu all set??? How is fo fo liking being back? How is your theatre room, you using it alot? the weather has turned here, icy rain and very cold. still plan to go out tonight, I hope it doesn't get too crazy, will see I guess..

Looking at some boots from American Eagle, check em out if you want, they look like Ugg's...though half the price. Funny because I used to think uggs were the UGLIEST things ever, now I can't wait for a pair just like them. I just bought stel a pair the other night, so adorable.
Well, Kate is picking her up to go shopping the girl has nothing for winter....so that gives me time to tan, run errands and find something to wear. Leaving for KCity Sunday but back and forth through the holiday and weekend so I will check you two cuties later.
T- it's not that I haven't been texting you - I just dont text much anymore, it's not free...it's been a real adjustment let me tell ya.

CHECKING IN

Still just lounging trying to get over this second wind of sickness. I am on my 4th glass of water and 4th cup of tea.

Jina--How could I forget our anniversary?!?! T--you get included too, no matter of you "official" one year. We all have been through thick and thin, literally, good and bad, and I feel we are all the better for having each other. Thanx!!!

That concert is whipping you into a fun frenzy isn't it, when I am going away and crash, I always get "cleany" too, it must just be a girl thing huh.

So T, what kind of Porky are you doing, sugar glazed with pineapple,lol. I so remember that from childhood.

for lunch I just had a slice of roast beef and a few cucumber coins, back to drowning in liquid.

Dinner is on the stove, some sauteed chicken breasts with veggies and sour cream, soup on the side. Feels good to actually cook something from star to finish, seems like it has been ages, being sick and all. E just called and said the health dept. cruised in for the 6month check-up, just as he was leaving, making a short day into a long day, darn for him.

Maya did well at school today, I am so glad. Easy school week for her, only one day, yikes.

Oh, I forgot to say, last night I actually did get some exercise, E and I practiced salsa turns for about half an hour. I was wheezing but at least I got up and moved. We are getting pretty good.

I'm done with all the hard stuff. The boys helped out so it went smooth. I'm so on schedule that I'm even able to squeeze in a spa tub I'm gonna jump in the tub and listen to some music for about 30 mins. I've had some brie cheese, cabernet and red grapes so breakfast was awesome

well, it was going swimmingly, and then E called, and said that Fofo and Rodolfo wanted to invite themselves to dinner....well, I was just making small time stuff, since there wasn't a fresh turkey to be had and ham was hard to find too....frustration ensued....well they called from the store and said they were bringing Carne Asada. Great, we had Mexican food on the most American holiday in the world, oh well, I have everthing preped for tomarrow or the next day when we will be having our feast. It turned out ok afterall...now we are just waiting for Maya's pie to be done and we will be set.

Any Black Friday shoppers? I usually am, I get most of my stuff today cause of all the good deals, but this year, I just can't. Go shopping yesterday, took so much out of me, whoa, I couldn't believe it :P But I am up early to look at the adds anyway.

We had a very good evening last night, we watched some funny movies, played with the kids, had fun.

T, did everybody have a good time last night? Any traditions you always do? That was so nice of the boys to help out so everything went well. How bout Taylor, is she not a kitchen person?

Jina, how was your Thanksgiving? Strange now that you can't eat just anything huh? I bet Stella had a lot of fun with all the family and friends.

good morning. I have a turkey hangover. Went out Wed. night and ended up w/ a bloody mary hangover to boot. WINK. I love, spicy bloody marys. WOW your eats are making my mouth water. I did have a great day, bran came to mom's we picked for xmas, she is included, of course and we ate. I ate everything only a couple bites over the hours.....pie too. It felt just fine - I was happy. had wine w/ bran's fam in Dbq last night, they are the sweetest bunch.

SO that's that. No black friday, I am working til noon but donor Mike (stela's donor-) is in town from DC and coming to visit, I am getting my tree and house decorated and then going to Kohl's for these cute shoes...they are clogs, look like a cable knit sweater w/ fur around the opening and chocolate brown. Excited.

Sounds like much fun Jina! So glad it was all fun! Yep, it is time to get out the Christmas stuff and get in the spirit. That is great that yours and B's family are embracing new people and changes so readily.

Morning ladies,

First time ever that I don't get up early and go shopping. I'm usually out the door by 5am but not this year..deals just aren't good enough for the crowds.

Yesterday was nice thank you. T likes to watch but doesn't really get her hands dirty...Ry likes hands on. We don't have any particular 'thing' we do except we do always pray when we sit down.

Hi G..nice to see you..glad you had a good time..bloody marys are yummy when they are made just right. Cool that donor M is coming to visit. I am not a fan of fur..not around the neck, in lingerie or shoes..just me Any specific color you are using as decor this year?

Ash carne asada is always a good thing..the company is the most important thing anyway. Talk about shopping starting earlier every year..we have a big outlet about an hour away from my house (stores like coach) that opened at 12am. No thanks..just not worth it for me but you should have seen the people lined up.

R had to go into the office for a couple hours this morning but he just called to tell us he has luxury box tickets to see the mighty ducks. They are a hockey team here in Orange County if you didn't know. Anyway, I may just let him take the kids so we'll see.

Wow, lux box tickets to see the Mighty Ducks, LUCKY!! I HEART hockey, don't ever get to go to any good games, but love it none the less. Actually when we went to the zoo earlier this week the local team was there, the kids got to see their mascot and give em high fives.

Wow, so I wonder if the coach store here in the new Cali mall opened up that early too? Not like I'd go, but it just always amazes me what people do. Sounds like you had a wonderful day, I am so happy for you. Funny, I didn't even think about the scale today, I guess that is a reminder that I really need to get back on the ball when I am done being sick, haha. Still have my deal going with E, although I am sure he has already forgotten.

Mmm, I love spicy bloody marys and spicy red beers, they are my thing, sometimes a dirty martini. I haven't had one in a long time.

I opted to stay home and let R take the kids. They called to let me know they were having a great time and that I should have come. I'm sure but I wasn't in the mood to drive to anaheim (1 hr no traffic) so I opted for a quiet afternoon alone...was nice.

Hey did you hear about the Kimkins controversy? She gained all her weight back and people want to sue saying the diet is dangerous etc? I knew it was dangerous but desperate people need something..just as dangerous as surgery I guess so pick one of the two.

Well I am glad you had a good quiet afternoon. Anaheim is an hour away form you..I guess that is just about perfect to make going there an actual trip (Disney/Knotts other stuff) but close enough you can go anytime.

Hey I was watching Deal/No Deal the Thanxgiving version, and the at home winner of 100k was Teresa from Cali...that wasn't you was it? I thought of you and wished it were!

So I haven't heard any of the Kimkins diet hooplah lately. Main room gossip? I'll have to check it out though. So who are they going to sue? Yeah, I agree, pick your poison, surgery can be scary but so can a crash diet. I think a diet that doesn't teach you how to eat for the rest of your life isn't worth much, it's doomed to fail.

Well I am up, the kids are beating the bushes to go to the Dollar Tree, their new favorite store, and I have to decide if this is settling into a sinus infection. One side of my face feel pretty solid and last night it wasa feeling like someone had punched me,lol. But, yesterday, I didn't drink that much, and we were out in the dry dry cold last night, so i have HUGE steamy tea next to me, and I am really going for the water today.

We found The Never Ending Story, so we are watching it, perfect for this cold day here. I think it is only like 39* outside. For lunch I had some turkey that E brought from work, mmm, it was so good. He made a creamy pumpkin gravy to go with it, yummy!

I had a terrible nights sleep..bugg! Both R and I were up at 3am watching tv. Maybe it was the scoop of ice cream we had after our japanese dinner. I guess we're getting too old for sugar laden dairy.

Hey Ash..in the small amount of time I slept I had a dream about you! I drove to your house (from san diego) go figure but when I got to your house is was late and there were toys in the driveway. You ended up crying..you were really sad about something and then E came home..it was weird. Funny huh?

Good morning!!

Well I just got back from taking the cat to the vet's. I was dreading it all day yeasterday. I thought for sure he had broken his leg and we were going to have to spend a big chunk of fun money to mend his leg just before Christmas. We were lucky this time, the vet said it was probably a bite and so now he is on antibiotics for the next week. Big sigh of relief!!!

Me, I am feeling much better, still pretty stuffy, but I am not so darn tired. I am actually planning to walk with E today...even though it is so cold, 32. Breakfast was an egg and a sausage patty, some cheese. I am still drinking a bunch of water.

T, that is funny about your dream...one day we will do a road trip, but we will only cry tears of joy,lol. Yesterday we a pretty good day, E had off, and we went to do a tiny bit of shopping. E's cousin will be here soon, so we got a few things ready for her.
