Hello all,
Well breakfast was a small sf pumpkin latte, and lunch so far has been a few slices of cucumber. Haven't felt that hungry...I know it will hit me tonight and I'll be craving all sorts of junk....still haven't found a way to avoid that one. I think I'll try preempting that by making some sf jello. I have some roast been in the frige but it just doesn't sound good. Finalized Rita's catering order for Saturday and checked out her directions. It is just going to be a small little wine and cheese thing for people to come and see her new house. I like small caterings, not too much pressure. How was the bike T? I didn't get out to do my exercise this AM, but I have new motivation from E. We are going to see who can lose 15 pounds first. My prize, he'll cook and clean for a week, that I'd like to see, his prize...I forgot, but nothing as funny as seeing him do all the cooking and cleaning. LOL. Check back later. T, I see your green light ![]()

Hiya T! So did you go for a walk too? Good job! I am done with a bunch of cleaning, I am just going to sit down to some soup before I continue with the laundry. I know, it seems like I am always doing laundry....I am....boring. My cough is so annoying right now, it sometimes gets this spasm in it and I just can't stop, I had to leave the library today cause it felt like I was going to die trying to hold back my coughing. I actually managed to make the most hideous noise with my mouth trying to hold it in, it sounded like a huge FART that came out the side of my mouth. After that I had to go. LOL. TTFN, A |

Morning, we are back to grey and cloudy here.
I am just trying to get some stuff pulled together here, then I might go out for a walk before E has to head out. They are going to get moving on Alberta, they have been waiting for permits, so finally they can move on. I ate really light yesterday. So today is the 15th, my goal day. I am not sure if I should weigh myself or not, probably not since I lifted my own sanctions. my cough kept me up a lot of the night, my chest hurts. I moved over to L's room, and he went to my bed. E didn't once say anything but I know I was waking him up to. A |

THURS
I typed this long note to you from my car yesterday and poof..I lost it all.
Good morning Ash..hope you feel better soon. I'm sure you'll beat E at the game Yesterday was the first day I attempted to eat well and exercise. I think I'm over my bitter party. What are your plans for TG? My mom went back to TX so she'll be gone so it's just my family and my brother and my dad. I am keeping the menu simple..no turkey for us..we're all sick of turkey. Well it's hb eggs for bfast (eek) and some form of protein for lunch. I'll get on the bike and mill in a couple hrs. I read here on the site that this woman lost 71 lbs in 3 mos and her husband lost 80 doing some protein modified fast diet? That's insane. Ok I'll be back. T. |

Wow, 71 and 80 is a lot!!! In a way though, if you can just say yes your doing it, and stick with it, 3 months is nothing, then you have all the time in the world to maintain. Good for them. You looking into it T? Maybe I should do that for 2 weeks and lose my last bit of weight. We could try a 1 week challange...something to think about.
![]() Turkey day, we aren't doing anything, two days ago I counted that there were 9 days left, and usually by this time I have a whole menu planned and charted out. I can tell this year there is something out of whack, my favorite thing, to plan and make fancy food, hardly matters....go figure. Anyway, E will probably have to work in the morning and then he'll come home and we'll have dinner. We don't have a big table to lay stuff out anymore, maybe that's the problem. I may make turkey, but don't really feel like I HAVE to, a ham might be nice. Sausage stuffing, that is the one thing that is a NEED to, but with all the bread, it is hard to bring myself to eat it after I make it. Pumpkin Crockpot pudding yes. I had a tiny salad for breakfast, still not hungry, think I am going to be having chicken broth today and tea. Some protein in there somewhere. Ash |

Good morning how are you? Where the heck is G? I didn't weigh in this morning. How bout you? I have a busy weekend..dinner with a friend tonite and friends on sat then B's 13th bday on Sunday. My home is now officially filled with teenagers ![]() I had a terrible nights sleep this weight thing on my mind I guess. It's really bugging me more than ever before. I did look at that diet..it's kinda like weight loss surgery..very very limited eating..all protein. Well I hope to hear from you. T. |

Weigh? Not yet, I might, but I don't know what for, I didn't work for anythinng this week being so sick, so I am sure I am the same.
I write quick posts a lot like that and then forget to post them because we have some sorta "crisis" and when I get back, there it sits. It's a mom thing. ![]() OMG, three teens, what will you ever do. Nah, you are such a great mom, I hope I can be as great as you are when mine are older. What is B doing for his Birthday? Just friends over, gotta keep it cool huh?!! So the diet you looked at is like voluntary wls eating. We know eating a little bit at a time, lots of protein works, Jina did it. The problem is getting past those cravings. If you are like me, if I have a craving now, it is all I can think about, and very hard to put aside. Last year when I was just starting out and was VERY narrow minded about what I would and would not let myself, it was easy. So the problem becomes how to deal with those feeling before they happen, so you have a plan in place. T, if you can copy and paste the link I would love to read about their expirience. I just got my new MP3 player and it allows me to download books to it. It has been key for me the past week or so to get to sleep, or when I wake up in the middle of the night and my mind is racing. It distracts me just enough to let my mind rest and I fall asleep. Maybe you should try it. Yeah, where is Jina anyway?? I left her a message on myspace too and she hasn't been there yet I don't think. Miss ya. Hugs T, Ash xoxo |

Wow, it is pouring outside now. I am waiting till Maya gets home and then we are off to the market to get my catering things for tomarrow. I wish I had made a list of the rest of the stuff we need for the week. Guess I'll have to do it on the fly.
T, do you plan out your meals ahead of time? I usually try to do that, but I'd like to do it on a grander scale, maybe cook once for two weeks then freeze. If I could get that organized, I would be so happy. I think it would make eating more of a non-issue, cause everything would be ready, just heat and eat, no time thinking about making food and instead just choosing on the go unhealthy stuff, like E likes to do. later, Ash |

Was thinking to go see Beowolf in 3D IMAX, it's at 10:15, we'll see if I can get Juanito to come stay with the kids tonight.
Mmmm, sushi, it has been a long time since I had that. I love Todai, you like Todai T? I eat all the lobster I can eat first and then go for the King Crab and then the sushi, YUMMMMMMMMM!!!! I got some fun stuff at the grocery to make fun dinners for the kids, potato volcanoes, and dogs in a blanket. I needed some comic relief :P Post it up girl, you only got 9 more to go to become a major, lol! Love ya, Ash |

Well, I have already delivered the canapes and am back home. Today I am feeling much better, but poor Maya, she has what I had, she has been sleeping all day. Strange since she is not at all a touchy-feely child and spends the least amount of time with me out of the three kids.
What's new, we have another kid party to go to, Luke has been really excited about going, E may just take he and Alexis since Maya is so tired. Lunch I had a spicy chicken soft taco with a LC wrap. And now I think I'll take some me time and have a tea and read my book by the window. It is windy today, fun to see all the leaves floating by. Hope you two are having a great day, Ashley |

Happy birthday B!!
How are you two? Everyone feeling well, all those bugs going around. Ash what book are you reading? T, how is gram and J??? M adjusting to married life? The kids all excited about Tgiving break? The forcast calls for snow later this week. That will put a quick hault to my DBQ trips- I don't drive in crappy weather. This weekend I leave w/ Jena to go down to Em's school and we have tickets to see Dane Cook on Sunday SOOO FREAKIN psyched, I LOVE him!!! SO, this week will be busy but a short work week.....wed. morn doing the ped's thing again and then work here til noon on Friday, that's a first for us-but its ok cuz I will be gone...WELL, the weekend was fun, had a great going away party for Brandy's friends in DBQ I fell in love w/ their house...very modern and very much my style...they did all the work themselves, it sits on this stone hill (the 60 steps to get up to it sucked, otherwise AWESOME)!! They took out a 3rd bedroom and built the biggest spa tub I have ever seen, all the sinks and counters in the house are pebbled concrete....the office has a master bedroom loft that Anna built a floating bed into....awesome......she is a master carpenter. In the powder room on the main level (it was a closet) they used an IKEA bowl as the sink base, just had to buy the proper stopper and fittings for it...just very inventive. Sarah's mom's husband is a french guy, very cool(Anna and Sarah, the couple moving) he is the most amazing artist -EVER, his art moved me, just MASSIVE colorful paintings of the coolest people in the coolest settings, I am not a huge art buff or anything but it was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He said he doesn't do it anymore, but if he does he gives it away because he cant put a price on it. I said he should never stop painting, it's an amazing gift to have- to share. Anyway, met some cool people there...it was a great night.I really want that house. OK tootsies, off I go. |

Happy belated birthday B! I feel bad I didn't come in yesterday, and not till late today. E decided that from now on he would be taking Sun and Mon off instead of Mon and Tuesday. So we had a lot of fun actually having a real day off on Sun and then took the kids to the zoo to get some fresh air today. Maya stayed home sick today, she still had what I did but I thought she could really use the fresh air too, so we all bundled up really well and walked a lot. Then came home to get warm and let the kids rest. We went to Hillsboro, where I've look at a job on the net, and wondered if we'd pass by it, wouldn't you know it we did. And it was way out of the way and would have never found if we were looking for it, we were looking for a unform place for E. Wow, along with all the chef coats and pants, this place had the cutest scrubs in the world. I thought of you GG.
Breakfast McMuffin, not the best, not the worst though Lunch, chicken breast and salsa and few bites of beans and rice Dinner, pumpkin seeds, passed on the yummy sounding pizza I need to get back to my exercise now that I am feeling better. See you two in the morning, Ash ![]() |

Morning
![]() Hey Ash..don't feel bad..I'm glad you were having fun..you needed it. You really are considering getting a job? What about the kids..or do you mean when the twins go to Kinder? I think some part time work out of the house would be good for you. Jina oh how I love art..although I'm a novice I can still appreciate a beautiful piece Some homes are off the hook aren't they? I've been in some multi-million dollar ones..just breathtaking. I'm not a fan of sleek cool contemporary...I like traditional..cape cod with white shutters and dark hardwoods..wainscoting..yummy!B had a good time..thank you both. Gram is now home but her condition is unchanged. My mom is there and so is a couple of uncles and one aunt. She is good care right now. J is in Chicago having some fun. M is closing down her office in NY..she has a month off so she is excited about that. Here's what I had yesterday on my non diet b - sm chicken breast (leftover from cheesecake) 1 pear l - pasta w/meat sauce d - green salad w/lowfat ranch s - toast w/cinnamon I didn't exercise yesterday but I did get on the bike this morning for 35mins. Off to the shower I go. I hope you two have a great tuesday. Teresa |

Mmm, your food sounds yummy to me. Pasta and meat sauce is my ultimate comfort food.
Yeah, I think part time, still not sure though T, E's cousin should be here next Sunday, She is the sweetest woman, and all my kids hit it off with her and her two boys when we were in Mexico. She will be helping watch the kids if I do ever decide what the heck I'm doing. LOL. And E's mom is coming to visit soon too, so that will help, and it will be much easier when they go to kinder...only time will tell. L, Ashley |
