Hi girls..where r ya Ash?

Hey Jina..I can't believe E. K. is going to be 1 already. I wish I could be there for it..bet it's going to be so cute. The decorations AND the sweets yum!
It has been a while hasn't it? The time flew..I knew it would..so disappointed in myself but I've learned some valuable things here with you two.

I'm really bummed..this morning I went to trader joes and while I was inside someone hit my car. When I came out I didn't noticed because it's on the left side bumper (no paint was hit thank God!) but some lady tapped me on my shoulder and said, "was that damaged there before?" I said it's a new car of course not..anyway she was a real weirdo and ran me around the parking lot. I think the only reason she stayed for me to come out is because some people called her on it..I think she would have just driven away. My luck huh? so instead of going shopping I had to take the car to get an estimate. $1300 to replace the entire bumper..what a dumbass..I left plenty of space (cuz I'm anal and I don't like people to hit my car with their door) but she still hit me.

Ok..well I'm trying to have a good day but now I have to go to the bank and run some errands I don't want to do..eek. I hate going to the bank, getting gas, and washing my car...the worst!

Talk to you girls soon.

T.

Hey girls! Today has been a busy day. The kids and I did a ton of running around while E went to business meetings and an auction. We moved moneys around and now it's all waiting for the final signing of the purchase of the restaurant. It has been a stressful day, with much to think about. Until now I have been in no mood to really do much talking or extra thinking. We finished the day up with a visit to a new park and let the kids go wild while we looked through a great new cookbook. I hope you girls have had a good day. Tomarrow is a day of new beginings and I can't wait to get to sleep. Much love to you both, Ashley

Okay so there wasn't much to catch up on but that sucks about your ride T!! I am so anal about people running in to me too! I would much rather walk a long a s s way in a parking lot than squeeze between some (I hate to say it, but white trashy looking cars, lol) cars.

Jina, glad you found some peace today, and I can just imagine your beau tan, lucky girl. The only place I see getting tan is the tops of my feet despite my all the shorts I have been wearing, short shorts, for me at least.

Hi

T, that super sucks. I so hate people parking that close to me too, very irritating....and then you walk by sometime and notice a new little ding in the door, I mean-who does that? DO you NOT hold the door so it doesn't swipe others?? I even have a kid to load in the car and never do that.
UGHIGHGHGH! I feel ya on those errands. Thank gawd Kate does that stuff. Gas in the car, the worst. Hate it.

Ashley, congrats on the new venture. Oh, how exciting for your family. About time he get's more fruit from his labor. YAY!

Not a lot to report. Stela's lesson was great, she is really getting the paddling thing down....it's cute!!! My Mom and Dad came and watched and were snapping pictures and clapping when she did something, proud gparents...gotta love it.

SO, tonight I do the private care again and I am off tomorrow. It's Bre's bday so I will probably take her to lunch and maybe find a new shirt for going out this week. We'll see what the day brings, I love being off work on Wednesday's.

Good morning! I was wishing to be in a better mood but duh, I don't know what I was thinking, I know it is pms to go along with everything else, sigh! I was so frazled yesterday I didn't hardly eat, and when I couldn't sleep at 1 in the morning, I came down to get some slices of cheese and a diet coke. My stomach calmed down after that and I finally fell asleep.

A very happy birthday to Bre! And it is almost inconceivable that little Stel is going to turn one, I think about it and it boggles my mind, since we did start talking when she was just a new baby. Crazy fast how time goes!

Well I just had a slim quesadilla with a lc tortilla and a tea, glugged down 36 oz. of water (didn't drink anything yesterday either) and the kids are harping on about getting their big blow up pool out, one of those ones from Costco with the slide. It is going to be 100* today, at 10 am we were already at 81. I checked out your girls weather too and looks like it is a hot one all the way around.

TTFN, Ash

Hello my Hoe's.

How we doin'? Lunch sucked. We picked one of our most favorite places, Lone Star steak house. We ordered, me a delicious grilled shrimp and rice lunch....waiting for it, so excited....trying to call it in at 11:00...the number was dc'd. WHAT WHAT? We just had it not THAT long ago. I guess it's outta business. Damn, I loved that place.
SO, it was too late to pick another so the rep went to Jimmie John's (gourmet Subwayish) and brought a sandwich. NOW, I asked her to stop by HyVee (grocery) and get meats/cheeses, veges and fruits and chips. NO, she gets sandwiches. I had a bite of turkey meat, 5 mini bbq chips....and a bite of a cookie. So not what I wanted.
I made some more paper flowers for Stela's party, and that's how I spent my lunch break. Now we have 3 patients, 2 of which have come and gone, and then NOTHING TIL 5PMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM, WHAT?

Kate called, Bianca got groomed...she looks adorable, I hear. Bow's in her hair and all....a spa day for her raggedy ass. I said tell them to shave that mo'fo and trim her nails COMPLETELY DOWN, they drive me nuts on the hardwood.
Ash, PD is coming, eh? I am wrapping up mine....they only last a few days now, it's nice. Ever since Stela was born.
Thanks for the bday wishes. She is 25 tomorrow...I can remember changing her diapers, seriously. It was always us, no matter what, me and Bre...
alright, back to no-work, work for me.
Hugs and stuff
GG

Nobody till 5!!! What the frick? I hate the idea of waiting around for people and then half the time they don't show, my mom is always juggling her sched around for that reason. Bummer about lunch. I really dislike eating things that aren't what I want, I always feel so jipped, lol. Yeah I checked out your weather and then how much a ticket would be to fly out your ways, wishful thinking A

Just peeking in to see if anybody was around. Hey GG, so did you get your new Vue yet? I was just thinking about you on the way home when I saw a new Vue. You would have said so, I like the Vue, I looked at them when I got my first new car but at the time they were too expensive for what we wanted to spend, lol. Anyway, we are still enjoying 101 degree weather. HOT! Ash

Hey

Morning. Busy here too...Ash it's an ION, a car, not the VUE, I did like those too years ago when they first came out.

With gas prices, a car is better for me, for now. I will be getting something fabulous once this is paid off. It's less than a 2 yr loan, making big payments...saving for a bit and then maybe my Jeep Wrangler. Hey, you only live once, right?

Hope you two are fantastic. Enjoy your day, it's a mild one here. Love you girls!

Oh, ION, what the heck was I thinking, I still must not be fireing on all 8,lol. Anyway, those are nice too. And a Jeep Wrangler, those are fun. I hear ya on gas prices, yesterday our gas was down to $2.83, what are both of you paying?

So today I checked and they turned the heat down a bit, only supposed to be 93. It is so weird this year, I actually love it when it is mid to high 80s, 90s even 100s are doable. Never in the past was I able to make it in the 90s, I would just sit and drip, lol. But now, E keeps asking me when I am going to turn on the AC. Right now I would much rather be a bit warm but have all the windows open and screen door open than the AC and have to keep it all closed up.

Okay, so I just had a LC quesadilla again, they hit the spot in the am, and I think we will go walking to the library or something.

Have a good morning! See ya soon, Ash

Afternoon mateys! Well, we just got back from the lake and I am seriously starved! I am chomping some shrimp and greens now. I need to go to the grocery store and buy some food, we are out out out, lol.

How has the afternoon been for you girls? I hope good! Dinner is going to be something summery, but I don't know what yet, I really hate not knowing what's for dinner, makes it to easy to go out and waste money A

Wow, I finally made it back from the grocery store, on the way home I had to dig into the sliced ham, I am so hungry today, I don't know what it is. Usually in the heat I am less hungry!?!?! And dang, my fave store didn't have London Broils on sale, what?? Every other store in the free land has it on sale. Oh well

goodbye my loves

Hey Ash...funny that you are the one that's always missing now you're the one around

I have been working all day with a million little things to do. I have 2 hrs left and I have to get to bed. I have to be out of the house at 5am to make my 7am flight.

This is it girls..the time I've waited for..I still can't believe I didn't lose the weight I anticipated..just 20 more lbs but I didn't do it. I don't get myself.

Anyway..I'm going with the attitude of having the greatest time so that's it. I will check in on you two with my iPhone.

I just wanna say I love you two like you don't know!

HI!

Sorry I didn't check in much yesterday Ashley....it was a busy shopping day. Did find 2 new shirts and a pair of cargo (girlie) capri's, so it was a good day for me. Cake and dinner at Moms. I cut the cake, licked the knife and called it a day. It was double choco cake w/ triple choco frosting, even choco chips in the frosting, I love chocolate! It was enough though. Bummer.
Did get an entire ear of corn down though, that makes me happy. Sweet corn on the cob in the summer...what's better than that? Oh maybe the 7 lite beers I had last night, yah, I am hanging a bit. This is my morning to snooze later and do you think I could for the life of me? Oh heck no.

T, I miss you already. You will have the nicest time!!! I can't wait to see some pictures. That Iphone, perfect timing, right? How much was that thing $500? Do you pay more than a standard bill for the phone, I mean you can use itunes, which you pay for at home, right? And the internet, oh. it's probably all in the one bill. Yikers, I can't afford that s h i t but I would LOVE it.

Our gas is $3.19. Yes ma'am. Isn't that insane in the brain????? I keep meaning to say too T, I don't like that Beautiful Girl's song either....that voice, YUCK.
Ashley, it's probably your pd causing that increased hunger, right? I am glad to be wrapping mine up but I am still retaining so much fluid. Yuck.
Well, I have another movie to watch tonight, The Messengers. What do you think Siskel and Ebert?
It looks scary and Kate works tonight so I might wait til the weekend. Haha.
Have a great day, T, I hope your flight and arrival was very nice and smooth, have a fantastic day - both of you.

I love that new picture of you and Estela! She looks soooo much like you! And look at you, melting away! I mean just look at that face and neck, skinny girl, nice work!!

Mmmm, chocolate cake with triple choco frosting, what restraint, lol! I love corn on the cob too, have you ever had it with mayo, lime, hard Mexican cheese, fresh chile powder and lime. Yum-O! Ahh, shopping, and you actually broke down and bought some inbetween stuff, it gives you a big boost huh? So glad!! The Messengers, it was so different than I expected, bordering on strange, but what scary movie isn't, actually it wasn't that scary, deff watchable alone. Siskel and Ebert, or any critic for that matter, I read what they say but don't usually follow their advice of to see or not. You? I have yet to find that reviewer that has the same likes dislikes as me, although LionsGate films are almost alway hits with me.

As for me, no pd yet?!?! I bet it is looming though, that has got to be why I was so hungry. Man I was drinking water yesterday by the liter and not much was filtering through, lol. Sigh!!

T, hope you have a wonderful time! How can you not though right. And that iPhone will come in handy! That is so cool to have a mini computer right at your fingertips. Do send pics asap Can't wait to see the whole fam all glammed up!

ahhhh lunch.

What a nice 2 minutes of eating. Ordered a chicken quesadilla and chips w/ guac and sour cream. Yes, I am am your gastric bypass less than 2 months ago friend, doesn't sound like it, does it??! I had about 6 blue corn chips dipped into pico (LOVE IT) and guac. So yummy. Just one taste of quesadilla....I can't do the tort. but it was good.

That corn (Mexi.) sounds so freaking good, gonna try it. Have you done the real butter, chive, thyme and salt wrapped kind? YUMM-O! I am going to try yours, maybe add cilantro, god I love that stuff.....SOO good.

I was referring to you and T as my Siskel and Ebert, haha. I never follow any critic, I never agree. I will watch it tonight.

WELL, my hangover is wearing off a bit. An ice cold pepsi sure sounds good...or better yet, Vanilla Dr. Pepper.....I miss pop sometimes. Hey, do you two say soda, instead of pop? It's definitely a mid-west thing, when we were in NC w/ my Cali cousins they kept making fun of us saying "pop".

Have fun today.
PS: Thanks for the compliment, I am feeling a lot better looking these days, lol.

Mmmm, never did corn with fresh thyme and chives on the cobb, but that sounds really good, I am going to try that next time, haha, we totally just did a swap!

Oh I get it, us as S&E, I am such a goof, lol!! Pop, I say soda sometimes but I grew up saying pop, maybe cause my mom is from PA and lived in OH for a good while too. Yeah, CA'ians don't say pop, I think they think it's too country bumpkin, lol. We'll see what T thinks? Have you tasted the new Pepsi Summer Mix? I sure wish they'd make it in diet. I have been hooked on SF Fullthrottle. I get one every few days.

I just finished typing up E's (and mine) new summer menu for La Prov, everything sounds so good, think I'll have to 'pop' on over soon and have some seafood soup soon!

heart, A
