Yah T, it was a good feeling, I am really happy about it. Still have to find a top but whatever I wear, I know it will look good...I am at that stage of thinking now...how can it keep getting better?

It's cold and rainy today, only 60 or so...YIKES, huh? I love it!

YAHOO!!!! Jina that is so WONDERFUL it is just about dam cryable!! Doesn't it feel great!!! I am so happy for you!! And Kate trying on a 6, holy sh it!! I say bring on the hugging too!!! If I ever get to a 6, my dream size, you can bet I am going to be wearing everything I can possible get away with.

T, looks like you have been having a good time with J! I have been having a blast with mom and the kids, we had .99 root beer floats today, yum! I love Sonic! Then we went to the swap meet and saw a bunch of junk, I am looking for some outdoor stuff, that isn't really outdoor stuff, the things that make outdoor rooms look cozy, inviting, and lived in, nothin yet. Dinner was some simmer pork chops in green sauce, not my usual fare but was really good.

Mom bought a chocolate cake to celebrate the babies birthday and then is planning on buying my favorite lemon torte cake for my birthday on Tuesday, so that is hard but I'll make it with just a slice......or two,lol, somebody slap my hands. Last night I did half an hour on my mom's Gazelle while watching TV, which just reaffirmed that I really need to get some type of exercise machine that I can do while watching tv, it makes it go by so fast and is erfect when we get into winter with all our rain.

Good early morning ladies. I went to sleep early and R got me up early. We are peas in a pod that way..we are both morning people..we enjoy getting up early and spending time before the kids get up..hey I just realized that's probably why we're morning people..for the last 16 yrs this was our only peace together LOL

Ashley..I knew you were out having fun yesterday. I am sooo glad I don't have a sonic around me they have some good stuff. Your bday is around the corner huh? 26?..ahh what a great number that was. You so deserve a big slice of lemon torte - enjoy!

How are you? Ash, BDAY= HORRAY!!!!!!!! I am excited, if I could be there I would take you to the most fabulous restaurant and we would chat and cocktail it up all night long. Tear. It sucks being away from you two. Last night was awesome, I felt really good and looked it, if I do say so myself (and I do say so!). Lotsa drinks - wow. BUT, hangovers aren't so bad anymore, a little water, coffee and tylenol...voila!

It's been cold, gray and raining allllllll weekend...ughghghhghg!

I am not the morning type T, but it's cute you and R are....get the moments together when you can, right?

Just a quicky,lol, before the day gets off to a fast pace here. It is so beautiful here at mom's house, she lives on 13 acres and her house is situated up on a hill and her view is off the vally and tree tops, it feels like we are on a cloud, and it is 75-80, so perfect weather, pretty cool for here. Wish I could send some of this perfect weather you ways!!

I went shopping again today..bought some more stuff for the house (always fun for me) I am going to grill steaks tonight and swim with the fam..it's really nice and the pool is warm..somebody needs the exercise right?

Ok..out of the pool and just finished dinner and ready to lounge and watch a movie.

Dinner was fabulous (definately not "dietish") I made a tomato, cucumber n avocado salad along with the steaks..they came out great (I had a small one)

How are you 2? T, those kids....you can see the love between them, it's awesome. How's it going w/ T and her appts? When is J moving? Excited for the wedding? Lots of fun stuff coming up, I love weddings!! Did you get something to wear yet?

Ash, how's it going at Mama's house? Her house sounds amazing and I already know it looks amazing from the pictures...if your house makes it into a magazine, your pretty much the coolest cat in town. Love's it.

Birthday girl - almost...what are you doing other than torte? When are you going home?

Well it was rainy and weird so I didn't get to walk. Shucks. I wanted to do the new route...I am re-digging Eminem's "shake that ass for me"....and other oldies but goodies.

Precor? YUCK. Maybe I can get some good swimming in tonight at Stel's lesson. We went to the Holiday Inn yesterday to swim w/ Leigh and some friends...brought the kids, it was nice. Played sequence and mini golf (it's a really nice hotel w/ 2 pools and a game room and golf thingy)...got home late and right to bed, I was so freakin tired...
This weekend is our float trip. Girls. Cocktails. Inner tubes. Sun. what more could you ask for?!

Morning girls..

The kids J..definately a love hate relationship T has her appt Wed and everything seems to be going well. We got the news this morning..her bf booked the final flight...she is here (she came last night) so she comes over to me and sits down..looks at me with this face and said, July 17th. That's the day! I won't even think about it. I am excited about the wedding and still am wavering on what I will wear and whether or not to color my hair so we'll see.

Float trip sounds super fun! You can't ask for anything more..well

We are all off to shop so I'll see you two after lunch.

The big 27 tomarrow I am feel old already!

And if ya didn't already know, US beat Mexico in the Gold Cup yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yahhhooooo, I just love it when I can call E and joust him a bit,haha!

We hung out this morning and did nothin much, put some color in our hairs, made breakie, swung on the swing, talked, very relaxing.

Tomarrow, we may go to a movie, maybe a jet boat ride down the Rogue River, not sure yet, but low key and fun.

Yesterday we went and rode mini trains at a train park, that was fun and free, can't beat that.

Jina, sucks it is rainy still, but swimming sounds good! Today I am going to do the HUGE circular driveway at my moms house, it is a BIG hill so that ought to be good, a few times around there and then Gazelle tonight again. That float trip sounds super fun, I love being on the water.

T, glad Tay's appts are going well. And the wedding, soon, oh what fun! Can you believe that the time has gone so fast!?!?! Wowzers!

Funny cuz he just asked me if I wanted to go..I am not too interested unless it's football or baseball It sounds like your day will be fun if you head out to the river. Well I was getting bummed, Kate works tonight and we are supposed to work til 5pm so I would have missed her (that has NEVER happened.....) and not seen her til tomorrow (or when she wakes me tonight, wink -wink)....but DR got sick and left, so did R, and I sit here as long as I want to .....playing on the computer and doing BS work. Think I will leave about 2:30 or so...I do so need the hours. Tomorrow we are off...not sure if we'll keep this new schedule but I am telling you what, I do love the idea of having a mid-week break. YAY!

SO, I forgot to tell you I worked out yesterday at lunch. Pilates (KICKING MY AB MUSCLES and my ass today) and arm training. I must get these arms under control and it will ONLY happen w/ weights. I read the best ever move for firming a tush and legs is the one w/ an exercise ball...against the wall you slide down....hold it, and back up, can add arm weights too it for an extra burn. Those kill me but will do them tonight. SO, I will repeat that routine today at lunch. The new route this morning was a KILLAH, OMG----it's about 2.5 miles and there was about 90% humidity at 5:30 this morning, having a super hot day and then a cool/rain off tomorrow (my day off, it figures). It feels just like standing in the bathroom after the hottest shower....gross. BUT, it was good...I like it. There are woods on one side of the path most the way and then a creek on the other side, if I ever come up missing----look for me there.

Damn ghost town in here. My abs and arms are killing me, how sad to be this out of shape. Pilates-man, I used to be the queen and so freakin limber...now it's like square one. OH WELL, I'm doin it! Float trip is postponed....Kate and I both forgot it's her family reunion this weekend, and lots of them haven't seen the baby yet. Much less, seen Kate since surgery...aren't they in for a surprise. Besides, the river is always there. Gives me more time to be bathing suit ready.

Well, just checkin in, gonna do billing detail and then leave I think. It's quiet now.

Just read Stephen King's Everything's Eventual (short stories)1408 for the second time. Kate bought me this book 4 yrs ago when I managed the shoe store and traveled to Chicago area stores, reading in a hotel ---not the best idea. YIKES! SO, since the movie is out (I am so excited, right up my alley!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) I wanted a refresher....that Stephen King, one twisted mutha, ain't he? The Shining is one of my all time favorites though. You two gonna see the movie?

Sounds like you've been workin your booty lately..good for you! Last night J R and I were sitting in the backyard by the firepit and the song "big girls don't cry" came on and I totally thought of you. J and R both like the song too.

You'll definately enjoy that mid week day off..your weeks will seem so much shorter.

Thank you both so much for all the birthday songs and wishes!!! I lOVE you girls so much! I wish I had better word to express how much you both mean to me!! You both have given me a reason to change and stay on this new path of life that has made me a better me!!!!! THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!! I can't think of a better gift than great new friends.

So, it has been an awesome day, we drop the kids off at day camp, and mom and I headed out for some shopping, we got to go antiquing(if thats a word?? :-) and junk shopping. I bought a chunky wood plant stand, a cool vintage 4 tier pie stand that I will use for plants as well ( and maybe hors d'overes) on the deck and then a neat metal chandelier for over the patio table. Then out to lunch to some cheesey Italian food and we shared a piece of lemon cheesecake, the bakery closed before we could go and get the lemon torte, darn, but the cheesecake was gooooooood! Now we are home to kick it in the sun and read awhile on the deck, workin' on my tan

So Jina, cool beets on the pilates, I so need to get back to doing the pilates, I sure wish I had brought some of my DVDs with me, but the gazelle is working out great since I haven't made it to curves yet, tomarrow I promise. You know what I also did to get my arms moving in the right direction (that would be, not moving, lol) I put my 5 pound weights by the tv, now when I actually find time to sit and watch, I do arm curls the whole time, you would never think that you can get so much done, but the next day you feel it big time!!

I can't wait to see 1408!! It looks so good! And I love John C, he is so funny!

T, that is funny that R's gparents live in RR!! What a small world, and mine live in LA, ha. Lucky him that he has box seats , E would love that!! How has your exercise been going?

Exercise is going ok..slow but ok. I have been consistent with my eats so that helps me stay focused. I'm glad to have been here to witness true dedication and your huge weight loss..

Must say I am digging knowing tomorrow is an OFF day for me. Love's it. R and I are meeting on the bike path again...it should be good, I am excited....actually excited.
I was looking through pics of just before my surgery, what a difference, even I can totally see it. I like it a lot. Knowing those pounds are forever behind me is a very liberating thing, I have never felt this good.

Ashley, I wish I were on your bday excursion...it sounded super fun and right up my alley. Kate is not so into antique things...she is definitely a modern taste but I have some really nice pieces of my gmas, that I treasure.
It was 99 degrees today, wow - right? That humidity didn't go away either, it was suffocating (?). We swam for an hour or two and then Stela and I took a 2 hr nap. I NEVER do that.

I just rearranged the living room, it's part of my OCD, I have to clean under the furniture...the thought of what is settling under things makes me a bit crazy inside. Yah, freakazoid, I know.
