Hey girls..I'm just checking in before movie time. I took a nap again today after shopping..maybe I'm just making up lost sleep but I needed it and I feel better.

We are going to see Mr. Brooks tomorrow..Surf's Up is a great kid movie Ash.

I opted for a 6in subway sandwich for dinner..no drinks bcuz it was too warm out in the backyard.

Well nighty night girls, I am going to get the kids settled and then it is relax time for me. Today was a wonderful day with the kids! Can't wait to do it again and again this summer. Busy here in Iowa today. Very hot too T. I feel ya, almost too hot for anything. Got in the pool for a bit today, it's small but ok.....I just had so much to do I had to get up and going.

Going out tomorrow, Kate is working at the KK for a bit and Rebecca and I are meeting her and Leigh down there for Buck Cherry. Do you two know them? Alternative music. Pretty decent. Bad Company is down there tonight and next weekend is Candlebox, I just loved them in high school.

Great job on the weight Ash and a pound down T is better than up...how lame and tired of saying that (and you hearing that) are we?!??!

Time for a drastic change my friend, it's just not been working all these months. I know you dont cheat more than what you post and your menus should def. give you a good pound down every week. I dont get it.

Tomorrow will be busy-going to Mom and Dad's for his bday and fathers day cookout....will be hot and uncomfortable but I want to get some sun so we'll see how it goes. Making choco covered strawberries, a fruit tray (watermelon is delic right now!) and sweet deviled eggs (his favorite). I might make this dip that has cream cheese and other goodies in it...meat/olives/pickes...a garbage dip. YUM.

Hey girls..how are you this saturday morning? I did 30 mins on the bike and had my eggwhite omelette and strawberries..it was actually good.

I have no excuses for not losing 40 lbs by now other than the lack of exercise. We've heard this all before and frankly I don't want to talk about it anymore...I'd rather just do it.

We have no father's day plans..maybe go to the lake tomorrow. R wanted to go camping but we'll prob wait till next weekend..we'll see.

Jina your eats for dads day sound yummy. I love bad company's "feel like makin love." I haven't heard of Buck Cherry but I asked T and she knew ha!

Yep, I ran/walked down to the store to see if I could find any cute shirts and pants in case we go out to dance. The bad news, I tried on 9/10 pants and they were all tight, too bad, cause most my pants here at home are 12 that are too big and 10s that fit just right. Anyway, I ran back since I wasn't carrying anything 250 calories gone, yeehaa! lol

I haven't heard the name buck Cherry, but I might recognizzze a sone of theirs. I like candlebox when I was in the early years of high school too!

How are you? I am doing great....a very nice day here. We went to my Mom and Dad's he loved his gifts, the pic of the kids too....TGAWD that is over, 4 little ones=no when it comes to photos. We had the best food ever, ribs, bbq'd pork loin and hamburgers, I did appetizers and fruit, and rice. We had german choco cake (LOVE) and sweet tea...then virgin pina coladas....sounds like a lot, right? Well it was. The first real family gathering since surgery. The great thing is as soon as I walked in my Gma, Mimi who is notorious (?) for saying the wrong thing said to ME, 'Hey skinny minny'. WHAT WHAT? Then my mom in the kitchen said, "god Jina, how much weight have you lost??!??!!?!" LOVE'S IT!!!!!!! I dont see them every single day so it's nice that someone is really noticing.
I had a few little tastes of fruit and cake....a bite of potato salad and one small taste of ribs. Sipped about 4 oz of pina colada....for the first time ever, I was just fine with that. Not depressed about it, not hungry...just cool w/ it. I love that.
SO we came home and got in the pool that was the perfect temp. Nice. Stela is sleeping and Kate went to work. Out tonight. Buck Cherry sings a popular song "crazy Bi tch".....you'd know it if you heard it.

Alright sistas...looks like things are good for you. T, I am happy to know R got a job. Awesome. Ash, weird about the pants, no two things ever fit the same, right? HATE'S IT!
About that, went to Steve and Barry's today....fell in love right away...my new SJP line is in. (MY new line? LOL)....gorgeous things I just cant get enough of, bought a few. That store's sizes kinda suck...xxl is like a jr's L but somethings were ok...it will just keep getting better and I like that. I also bought a sassy new pair of shoes, tall heels with a metalic band of gold....feeling spicy tonight. Actually I am just feeling great. Really, things are really taking shape and life is getting so much more manageable, I love it.
So far this gastric bypass is the best thing I've done for myself. I mean come on 20 pounds already this month?

Hey girls! Happy Father's Day to all also!! Didn't get home from my friend's BBQ till like 10, it was great, they made ribs too, and chicken and spicy sausages, so LC was no prob. I made banana cake with carmel frosting, it flew out of the 9X13 pan with none left over, I had 1 bite just to make sure it was good. Everybody wants the recipe, super easy, so I am going to email it to people today. Jina, this is the perfect recipe for you cause it is so simpe, starts with a yellow box mix.

I am going to hunt for a phone for E, he has been wanting a new one, but his is through his work. Jina, so glad you had such a wonderbar time yesterday, the eats sound so good! And WAHOO that everybody noticed how skinny you are!!! Feels soooooooooooo good!!!

Happy Father's Day to your's as well. Long day here....man I just painted my nails yesterday and they are already chipy. I hate that. Last night was fun, we sat in front of the KK and watched people go by while we drank way cheaper and didn't have to pay $25 to get into the fence. It was a good concert.....I would have rather listened to Bad Company -but it was fun. Out late. Up early. Pool today. Got a new chocolate suit from Bitten collection and a couple tanks, razerback ones from SJP collection, they are really nice. Set out looking for a cowboy hat I should have bought from AEagle a few wks ago and didn't its gone now. Shucks! Going on a float trip end of this month and need a hat. It was blistering today but the pool (which is quickly turning into a hot tub) kept it nice.

Hope you two had a good day and weekend. Off to exercise. My back was so jacked up all week after jogging, I didn't exercise yesterday. Yah, I will make those minutes up....I want to.
That cake sounds good Ash, sure send me the recipe if it's not too much trouble. All about semi-homemade, box cake sounds like a great start.

Hi there! I just got home an hour ago..I was lounging..was out shopping all day..and went to a late lunch. I had buffalo wings n ranch dressing..ok by atkins I know but definately not ok by me

It was cooler today..only 84 so that was nice. No "real" exercise today but we sure got a good walk in. R is off to work in the a.m..will be weird to finally have him gone from 8-5.

My walk this morning (went for 40 min) was good...it was very humid it's gonna rain today. I put some more music on my mp3 so it always gets me going a little further if I have something new to listen to.

Off to have a protein shake. Monday is going along just fine so far.

Morning morning!!! Wow, sounds like great weekends! The KK sounds like awesome fun, even if it wasn't the fave band, getting in for free and drinking cheap and then laughing at all the sheep is sooooo much fun! Kate looks so sassy in the B&W, very cute!! And look at those skinny arms!! Lucky duck!! And Miss Stel, well isn't she looking fine in her swim gear,lol! Those new cloths sound cool, and they'll help keep ya cool on all that hot weather. 40 minutes of exercise, nice work!

T, shopping too, always good! And R is back in action today, I bet it will feel like a long day with him gone, huh? Ride that bike hard girl, make up for yesterday, good good!

Me, yesterday I made E chiles rellenos with the tomato soup, I baked him his fave carrot cake with pineapple, raisins, pecans, again box doc'd, I tasted some again just to make sure, but other than my chile relleno yesterday, all I had was a roast beef rollup in the morn. Wasn't that hungry, my exercise was working the yard all afternoon. I mowed the lawn, picked up all the toys, got the deck all spiffed up, rearranged furniture, all is neat an tidy. Some hard work, but fun! Today we are out to find something to do for the first day of summer, maybe a hike.

How you be? Just me checkin in before I leave today. Been racking my brain over Stel's party and finally found a solution. We are renting a public pool for a private evening party! Yay! It's a month away and the temps are already high 90's w/ 90% humidity, I just cant have family, friends and little kids hanging in my backyard in those temps. Besides, Stela loves to swim and it is all about HER, isn't it? I am going to look at it tonight just to make sure...it's not really as expensive as I thought. They have tables, grassy area and life guards....I am hoping I like the looks of it, never been to this one before.


Alright, just checkin in. Ashley, looks like you had a great day of working out and cleaning, killing 2 birds, love's it.

I'm glad to be home..I'm going to do some paperwork. I've got the house in great condition since T's bday..I feel good about that..now if I could only get myself in order I'd be ok right?

I feel like a cold beer and the couch but I won't. Jina sounds like the party is going to be a hit. I think it's a good idea to have it away..you could come home to a clean house and relax..by the end of the day you'll need it..and so will baby! I hope you like the area..sounds like a great way to celebrate.

Ash..yeah it's weird to have him gone..I've been spoiled by having him around so much. Hey..you've really been working your booty off huh? good girl..you're about to see another little whoosh soon.

How are you girls. Ash, no later check in...must have been busy. Any more leads on your catering? Surely word of mouth will do some business for you. How's curves going, working towards another goal there? Another t-shirt? You're the best!
T, better eats than you could have had, right? How is the exercise? Nice to have R back to work for the $$$ but kinda sad too, I know whatcha mean.

I didn't walk today, last night at the game Stela started feeling warm, by the time we got home she had 103 temp so we medicated and she went to bed...2:30 am she woke crying, burning up....tossed in our bed til after 3:30 and then repeated that around 5am. LONG night. My baby never got sick before...she doesnt have any other symptoms just fever....weird. If no better today Kate's bringing her in here. Poor baby. SO, I was tired as H E L L! I can do pre-cor tonight though, or outside walk at home.
The pool was a NO. It's kinda junky. The park behind our house is new and nice, will call about that shelter today. T you are absolutely right about wanting to come home to a clean house, never thought of that.

On a bad note when we got home last night I had a slice of shaved turkey meat....didn't think and just ate it normally cuz I was starving. It settled right down my esophagus.....wasn't moving, had to puke. Worst feeling ever. Wont do that again.
On an up note as we left the game last night my friend Jane said, 'wow Jina, since I saw you two weeks ago the weight is just melting off...you look great!'. NICE!!!!!!!!!

Good morning. Up early since R is getting ready for work. He came home yesterday with a some new toys (a new laptop and a blackberry) I just look at that stuff and think..oh you're way too connected. He had a good first day and we went to dinner to celebrate.

I know my dinner looked heavy but you should have seen the portions..very small halibut..2 tiny avocado rolls so I was ok. R asked if I wanted a beer..twice. I knew I couldn't have it so I wasn't even bummed about it.

Poor Stela..really sucks to see the baby suffer with a high fever like that. I hope she gets better real soon. Sorry bout that scary episode..I know you weren't thinking but I'm sure you'll be more careful next time You do look great..can totally see a big (oops..smaller) difference!

Tuesday morning! Hey girls! I am playing catchup now, we did go out yesterday for the whole day, took the new GPS on an adventure in to the boones and found a fishing pond. The kids had a blast! We caught about 8 fish but only reeled in 5, Rainbow Trout, so that is fish on the barbi today, yum! Mexican style, split, and jalapenos in vinager, onions, mayo shoved in there, double yum! Anyway, we got home late yesterday and we were all just pooped,lol. And our other news is that we got a kitty. We told Maya when we were back from vacation we would talk about getting one, so on Sat and Sun we started looking in the paper and nothing too promising. Well where we went fishing, just happened I was talking to the owner and petting her cat and she said she had 8 week old kittens ready to go to new homes, and she had a grey fluffy one, a boy, everything we wanted, and he is playful, not skidish and already comfy with the kids, it was ment to be! Funny how things work themselves out.

Catering, yes actually, when we got home last night there was a message on my machine from a lady that went to the piano thing I did last weekend....was it last weekend already?? Fast. Anyway, it is for this weekend so I need to call her today, the thing is I am leaving on Friday to go to mom's house with the kids (no worries, she's got 2 computers with DSL access, so I'll still be in here) so unless it is for Sat and I could drop it off early, I'll have to pass, bummer, but Rita said she gave my number to a few people so I am sure I will have more people calling

So sorry about Stel being sick, I hope she gets better fast!! Yuck to be hot in hot weather. Glad more people are noticing about you melting, LOVE'S IT!!! The turkey, isn't it weird how old habits die so hard, man that suck to throw up from a stinky piece of turkey, but you'll get there, soon enough. Pre-cor tonight, oh yeah baby!!! Curves, I didn't go yesterday, but we walked a ton for exercise yesterday. I have to see what shirt I can aquire next,lol!!!
