Cool and beautiful in Iowa this morning. Stela woke me up a little after 7 am which technically IS sleeping in a bit so for that I am grateful...greatful???OH WHO CARES! Throat btw Ashley, sorry it's sore but if I can spell one word right it's definitely that one, I write it everyday at work...all those damn cry babies, and I am talking grown MEN for crying out loud. THE WORST! If they could hear what I am mumbling in my head---yikers.

SO, I have been cleaning, coffee and scrambled eggs...the highlight of today will be my strawberries and cream the lowlight will be s h i t t i n g my brains out later this evening....stick around, it should be one hellava show!

I drink that nasty fosfa-soda at 2 pm and then at 5, liquid diet from 2pm on...I still can't believe I am going in for surgery tomorrow. I really can't.

Don't know what I'd of done without you gurls to listen to my bit ching all this time (always trying to stick it to the MAN with my sneakily getting my real words in LOL!)!!! Having you two as my sounding board for - - - everything is just a blessing I NEVER take for granted so in case I hadn't said it in a while, or to use the saying from my wise friend T, HAVE I TOLD YOU LATELY you two are tops in my book.

Ashley I feel like you have missed so much and the communication is a bit off til we 'catch up' so to speak, but mostly it's as if you never left. I missed seeing you peek in through the day. How do you feel about getting back on the wagon now? Workouts and counting carb/fats......???? Hard or easy so far?
Sucks you couldn't contact T when at LAX, that's the way we felt in Detroit w/ our friend Heather (though I don't love her near as much as you two it was an hour layover but that damn airport sucks so I guess it's more headache than it's worth to meet, catch up and then jet (literally) through to meet your flight.

Kate and I are at eachothers throat's since last night, she's nervous, I'm nervous, Estela Kate has been a handful and a half this past week - first the fevers and fatigue and then just whiny ass so it's straining us w/ me getting so freaky this weekend. She is out mowing and I have cleaned crazily again....it's the best way for me to relax in a weird way, how demented am I?????????????????????
OK, off to clean the screen porch and tidy up the family room. Love to you two sweeties.

My niece, Alejandra, practicing for Quinceanos. This is the move that made her fall Matrix style. Ale's dress from the back with he chambelanes at the church, the Mercado, not such a grand pic as I wanted it to be but oh well, Ale's cake, cousins on the stairs (top is Pichi (Pedro) and bottom is Chato (Carlos) both E's younger brother's boys. PS. those stairs are the very original stairs that E's grandpa bought for the hacienda in Mex city about 80 some years ago, they found their final resting place here. They now lead to the patio where they hang their clothes to dry, still no driers.

J, yeah I know I feel like I am a bit off since I have been gone so long, but none-the-less I am so glad to be back! Tomarrow I will be back 100% to LC, I feel like I am ready, I have eaten everything in sight and have no more cravings, except for veggies and water since those are the two things lacking in the Mexican diet,lol, so bonus for me.

Sorry you and Kate are at each other's "throats" (thanx ;-P) but it is just the anxiousness of tomarrow and then add a cranky baby into the mix and it can be volitile. Hugs to ya!!!

These are pictures Kate never liked, getting ready used to be a fight no matter what, she'd get too hot and irritated to even do her hair so she wore bandanas everyday, everywhere...she even joked about wearing on at the wedding...yah, you already know how well THAT would have gone over w/ this psycho...lol. Breanne, Steph T. and Rachel - maybe I showed you this one before but T, when we talked about her beloved sweatshirts that was a xxl and it's clear it was MAXED out.
Donor Mike and Kate....her face is so different now it's unreal, I was saying the other day how we really dont know our true face shape until allll the fat is gone from it, I always thought her's was round and it's not...it's more squared off on the sides, weird huh?
Me Kate and Steph T at her bday party January before her surgery, I was pregnant and sick everyday she (there's that sweatshirt AGAIN) was just tired of the fatness by this point. We had fun, despite the no drinky for me.
That 4th pic is an appetizer party we had, it was a lot of fun, we have that night on tape and it's HILARIOUS the things that went on later that night. HA!
NOW the 5th one, it speaks for itself....amazing.
SO these are what I look at when I wonder where I will end up. I really cant wait to see.

#1Little kids in the back of a truck on the freeway. It is amazing to me that they still are so ignorant to the fact that a seatbelt can save your life. The whole time we were there I prob only wore a seatbelt 15% of the time, when one was available, so hard for me cause I am a seatbelt freak! Most the time there were 10 of us craming into a Ford Focus, just like circus clowns!
#2 One of the churches we saw in Cuautla

#4 and up close, would have love to hike up to it, but it take 2 hours and with my mom's ankle there was no way.
#5 The restaurant Los Colorines where Brad and Angelina have be known to eat. I guess they have visited this town a few times, Tepotzlan, and it is a hot spot for uppity ups for it's simple colonial style. It is pretty much in the middle of the dessert. Anyhow, this is the only place E and I and BIL Fofo got sick, we all have chiles rellenos, and then the runs,lol.

I had bbq chicken last night out with the fam along with 2 coors lite. We had a nice evening. I think you misunderstood me J..I wasn't going to OC to see J..I was referencing to her because I hadn't seen her..we were actually going to the Angels game which is in Anaheim..OC. I haven't seen J in like 12 days which seems like forever.

Ok..well, I can't wait to hear some more from you two.

Did a little more stuff and now it's time to post the dreaded "BEFORE" pictures. If you only knew how many times I have done this...it's unreal. Welp, no more-this is it. The last time, I am getting my prayers answered tomorrow and I couldn't be more in love with the idea of a rebirthing.

I am feeling really bad. Feels like the flu kinda. Very rumbly in tummy lots of liquid bm's already - sorry - it's gonna be a long night. I don't think I have ever tasted something as disgusting as that damn fosfa-soda it's like a soapy, slimy, salllllty gross medicine-ish tasting thing that makes alka-seltzer taste like a fine wine!
