Afternoon T

That was nice of J to pick up dinner and T, I bet you girls had a nice relaxing evening!

Well this morning we went to the zoo to do their Easter egg hunt thing, but it was yesterday, so we just had a nice walk through. Then we went and had rotisserie chicken for lunch. We just got back and Lex left a message on the machine, wow she sounds so small on the phone! Now I have her and Maya(from when mom took her to Disney 2 years ago) on the machine saved.

Well, it has turned grey today, it was nice and sunny in the morning, but now we are off to go shop some more, what else is there to do,lol.

Last night the BBQ lighter thing wasn't working on the main part, so E will have to look at that, I George Forman'ed the chicken, it was good on a little salad. Then I did 1 hour cardio with weights. Then E got home (usually around 9:30/10) and we played tennis for awhile and then we went up and did a 3 mile cardio walk, I opted out at 25 minutes since I had just finished up my other exercise. I peeked at the scale this moring and the number is going down again, yeah!

Alrighty T, I'll check in later, have wonderful Easter Sunday!! Much love to ya, Ash

Hello!

Hey Ash..yeah..last night was nice..we sat by the fire and had some wine and talked till midnight..always relaxing ya know? We did get up this am for an hour walk though.

George chicken sounds great..same thing right?..still gives ya that grill taste. You played tennis last night?..nice...good de-stresser for both of you..and fun! I love tennis..haven't played at all cuz I'm just too fat..R and I played religiously before we were married.

It is so ugly here today..cool and gray as heck. I really have no desire to go out anywhere. A friend might stop by so that is about it.

Hey..did u call yesterday around 11am?

Grey and Rainy

Yep yesterday finished up the same way here. Ugly but it was kind of nice, me and Luke and Maya sat up in my bed under the covers, opened the blind on my big bedroom window so we could see the weather and watched the free HBO channel, we watched the Dreamer movie, it was a perfect no brainer movie. I ice and heat packed my knee and jaw. My knee was just feeling tight and a bit swollen still from all the running last weekend, and my darn jaw has been semi-locked for three days. I can only open it 2 finger widths, haha, it has helped me stay on track with what I am suposed to be eating, cause eating a slow affair. I am trying to get in to the Dr today, but what are the going to say, it is dislocated?? In that event I am not looking forward to what they have to do to put it back, lol, yuck and ouch!!

I thought about calling you yesterday but couldn't drag my butt downstairs to get my phone number book, how's that for lazy, lol.

So what's on the menu today? For me it is:
an egg with cheese and ham, asparagus
Lunch: probably Pho soup
Dinner: Sausage and kale stew, julienne veggies on the side

So you and R used to play tennis? Is it something you'd like to pick back up? I really enjoy it, but I remember when I used to try to play a few years ago, I would just get so out of breath. Anyway, you are doing so well, pretty soon you'll be back in the swing of a million things!! So did the kids have a good Easter, I imagine it wasn't like the little kid Easters anymore but still it is always fun to have candies.

Alright girl, I am off to take a walk between showers, it is so weird to not have Jina in here. Have a good day and I'll be back this evening. Ash

MONday

How funny..we both logged on the same time. I am really sorry to hear about your jaw..that must hurt like heck. It sounds like classic tmj issues..ya know I have tmj that I deal with..when I was about 18 one day my jaw 'clicked' and it was never the same again..and when I was dating R..remember the new makeout sessions?..oh man, my jaw used to really hurt. Anyway, enuf of that I just hope it goes back into place and you feel better. You should go to the dentist and have it looked at..especially if it's locked. Your knee will have to just heal..no more running for a while.

You are lazy you should of called...I thought about it but I know you have those little ones and they are time consuming. Excuses excuses..we should just talk!

I have to confess Ash..J totally sabotaged me yesterday..you know she was with me until 1..then I got in the spa tub and was relaxing..for like 1 hr and she called and said..come over and lets go to downtown disney and to dinner. I was wavering thinking I should keep my butt at home but my kids have been locked up all day so I decided to go...well, I had a beer and a carne asada burrito w/chips for dinner..what is that..like 2500 cals? I didn't even want to eat it but I did..I thought I was over cheating but I guess when J said she didn't care..I went along..now hows that for sabotage? Oh well I can't blame her..only myself. I don't feel guilty about it I just know now that I don't even like cheating anymore. Anyway, it was a beautiful night last night in OC..there were alot of people with kids out.

Ok enuf..I hate super long posts because I don't want you to get tired of reading too much info.

Lots of love Ashley and I hope you have a great day. Call me when the kids are being good..if you don't have a cell..then call me when you're free and I'll call you back so you don't have to waste the long dist. on your house phone..k?

T

TUESday

Hey Ash..yeah I peeked in and saw that you hadn't been around so I figured I'd just wait till the morning.

I had my boring eggwhites for bfast and am going to have a chicken breast n salad for lunch. I totally feel bloated from eating that crap on sunday night. I have no desire to exercise today but I will. I'm going to OC to help J with her classroom stuff then we are heading back.

Hope you are having a good day today and I'll talk to you later.

XOXO

Evening T

So today was a long day, driving down to pick up Lex and driving back. I feel like a total slug for having to just sit all day. :-P

I feel ya on the splurge, there are times that I just get so tired of always being on gaurd, lol, and I just want to be able to eat something off a menu and not feel guilty/or think about it. Anyhow, most of the time I don't feel guilty anymore, but I don't enjoy it like I used to. Funny how things change. Well, yesterday I was good, but today I was just tired and not in the mood to cook dinner so we got take out chinese, I had rice and a few pieces of sesame chicken...along with the kung pao, it was good but more like it just filled the spot. Sigh.

Well, I hope you had a good day today, talk to ya tomarrow.

BF: 2 poached eggs, 1 ham steak
L: chicken on salad with parma
D: that darn chinese, 3 donut holes

Ash

PS. Dr gave me a muscle relaxer and put me on 600 mg of Ibuprofen ever 4 hours to reduce inflamation, it has felt better but I still can't open all the way . That is funny about the new love make-out sessions, but so true, I even remember my jaw being sore, maybe that is where it all started, lol, E can be my scape goat Alrighty now I am off, Mwah!

nite sweet nite

Hiya sweet! I know it was a long day for me too..just peeking in before I hit the hay in about 30 mins..J is crashed out and I am next. R is keeping me up but I am tired. I know about the little cheat but if you exercise..no need to feel guilty..just do better the next day..that's just how it works right?

I waited too long today to have dinner (a bbq chicken sand from carls jr) J had one too..but we waited too long...had 2 glasses of red by the fire to relax but definately still kinda hungry. I ended up eating a spring roll and a diet coke (just plain junk) but I did so anyway..

I'm glad that you just peeked in..still knowing your awake I hope you sleep well my dear...those ibu's should take care of that!

Talk to ya in the morning!

T.

Good Afternoon T.

Hey there, I am glad you are having nice weather, here we are back to the same rain, what else is new huh?

I got up and went to Curves this morning, I felt like I had been slackin since I didn't go Monday and yesterday was to busy to get there. I feel so much better for the day when I can get some exercise in early. I know you know that, and good job on the early walk, I think by far, walking is still my favorite exercise! Especially when it is sunny. Last night E and I did a 30 minute cardio and then a 10 minute ab routine, man my abs are burning today!

This morning was a little soy milk and then a small piece of ham and a bite of egg salad. I am really hungry now, and am going to have some chicken.

See ya later girl, Ash

THURSday

Good morning Ash..sorry I didn't log in yesterday afternoon. I went to type and the keyboard space key wasn't working. T spilled some water (that I didn't know until I started to type) so I had to get another keyboard. Now I'm ok.

I have been a slacker all week..exercise just hasn't been what it should. I haven't been chowing down but it really affects me ya know?

How was your evening? I had a sm pork chop green beans and 3 choc chip cookies..they actually gave me a stomach ache..I never learn.

This a.m. I rode the bike until I burned 200 little cals but I will go for a walk today and come back and get on the bike again for another 200 cals.

Afternooner again

Hey T, so glad I wasn't the only one that didn't check in last night. I have been slacking this week with the posting.

Last night was good, I made a little chicken and veggie stir fry and then did cardio and then the ab routine again. My abs are so sore again today, finally I am doing crunches the right way and not pulling on my neck. My jaw is slightly better, I can open another centimeter. I am a little worried that I won't be able to open big enough for my dentist appt at the end of the month. But today I heat packed it again and that really does help a lot. Today a had a tiny amount of ice cream, but for lunch I had salad with chicken on it. Break fast was a LC yogurt, and 2 slices of turkey. Dinner is still up in the air, Maya want a dinner out cause it is a 3 day weekend, but I am not convinced. Still seems like we celebrate everything with food, when all I want is food to be a non-issue, argh! LOL.

Everyday I am a little more excited about vacation, it is coming up soon, and yesterday I got all caught up on laundry, and took out the best close for the kids and got their entire bag all packed. E was surprised! It is so rediculous how many cloths my kids have, even with 2 weeks worth of cloths packed up they still have enough to last them another month. I have tried a million times to get rid of and simplify but it just seems like more and more clothes find their way into the closets and dressers, for once though, it is a good thing, one less thing to do at the last minute.

So far today I haven't got any significant exercise in but am planign on an hour of cardio tonight and abs, again. I am wishing I had a tred right now cause I could so go for a walk but the kids aren't in the mood and it is....raining, whup-ti-doo .

Bummer about having to get a new keyboard, at least the water didn't fry the computer too, that would have really sucked, lol.

My kids say hi, they are always asking how you and Jina are doing and I always tell them....so now that your names are common household lingo, sometimes they'll just say, "So how is T doing today?" So cute!

I'd like to say I'll be back tonight to check in, but the way time has been going, I'll more likely be back in the am. Peace out girl, Ash

Hey HEY HEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT'S ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gee, how are you two? It's like I was never even gone you two just kept up BAS in here. Hope you at least missed me. First of all, let me say how sorry I am for not calling you! I thought about it everyday - I was just rarely alone, and the time was never right. Once on the phone it'd be hard getting off so I just figured I'd 'do it tomorrow'. W/ my family someone is always next to ya, laying on ya, wanting to do something with ya, literally all the time.

ANYWHO- MAN, I am so beat, but the first thing I did (before checking mail/unpacking/showering/relaxing or eating dinner (NOW THAT'S MISSING YOU!) was to check in w/ ya's.
So glad to be home, miss it already, it was so awesome.
I ate like S*IT, but it's vacation, so I didn't even try to make a good choice. Sweet tea is their thing, it's definitely MY thing, so everywhere we went (if it wasn't alcohol) was SWEET SWEET tea.
We had the best food, the BEST shopping, the nicest weather, though it was chilly at night, and the ocean, well, we all know it's too cold for that. BUT- I got more cardio in than I have done in weeks and weeks....and my hips/legs/ankles and knees hurt to prove it. Even our condo was on the third floor and that was 33 steps up- believe me I counted.
The island is a must, at least once in your life. Lazy, beautiful.
We took almost 200 pictures, so I will send some your way.
I am so glad to be home, the flights were great, Stela was awesome (what else is new?) and we hardly had to wait either way, my way of traveling. BUT, the walking/lugging is very tiring. Not to mention the time change. Last night I grabbed my cell to start calling you two, who knows which I would have called first, probably Ash, since your an A, in the beginning of my phone...but I looked at the clock and it was almost 1am which is like...11 there, and I thought it wayyy too late. Every night when I did have 'free, alone' time, it was already really late. What time do you girls turn in?
OK. Well, I am glad you stayed on track, Ash, scale is moving down-that rocks. Mom gone, that sucks...but good for plan. Glad Easter was great. T, your one cheat meal w/ J sounds like the first in a very long time and the exercise minutes are awesome. You are doing so great. Tennis? You two are my heroes...I can hardly play ping-pong...
Well, I will end for now, I am so freakin tired, that, and Kate is wanting....well, you can figure it out. Yah, not even enough privacy for much of that.
I will check in early tomorrow to see the weights.
I missed you both so very much. I bought you both post cards the first day out, (sunday) at a cute coffee shop we frequented everyday...it had a bookstore, and pastry...so yummmmmy. I so over breve'd myself all week and loved it. They had internet time 20 minutes for $5, everyday I was so close to doing it...but the one computer sat in an aisle in the middle of this very tiny shop and it wasn't private or comfortable at all...so I filled out your post cards (only for you two-btw---super special!) and they are sitting here now. loser, right? They got kinda crunched in my suitcase...hey, I will take a pic and send it through here tomorrow. LOL.
Here are a few pics. Love ya's lots
SO glad to be back, hope you missed me.

the first is the view from our condo window in the early morning. It was really beautiful. Easter morning. The bunny found the kids, even far far away from home. ..The water...so awesome, you two are used to beautiful water though. Bre and Pete (cousin Joe in background) fishing. I will send the pic of all the fish they caught. We had the best meal that night. Pete beer battered a ton and w had homemade chips w/ it. M&M the first day on the beach.

Mom and Aunt Cathy, fresh fish, Kate & me w/ Josh, Bre and Joe, Me and Madi and Stela (yes, they have several matching shirts, cuz we are queer like that!) mostly the whole crue. My two younger sisters on the end, Sister Mary didn't go. We went to a cool aquarium that day and a pirate ship adventure thing, they are big on pirates there, since it's the biggest graveyard of all the old battleships. Kinda cool.

by far the best crab legs I have ever had. It was a place called, Dirty Dicks...the best ever, hands down. My sister and I being totally queer in the spa tub in my room. WOW, how big am I in that suit. This one is for your eyes only...your eyes and like, 30,000 other viewers in here. Me and Stela walking the beach, this morning. What a difference a plane ride makes...gorgeous 78degree morning- now it's like 30 here. UGH. Lastly, us. It would have been nice to look better, I could have spent some mad cash on cute clothes, and jewelry..but I did have some fun w/ shopping.
Will send more pics tomorrow.
Ash, sorry about the jaw thing. freaky. Hope it's better. T.... I just love ya.

Well I knew it was going to be bad..hardly any exercise this week and a bad Sunday start. I am up 2 lbs..depressing but it coulda been worse.

How did you do Ash..I know you've been exercising here and there so you should be down a few. You're always a trooper..I need to start working out like you do then I'd see some serious results!

I must say it was really nice to see your name when I logged on Jina Welcome home (well kinda) You know what is hysterical?..last night I was thinking about you..where you were at..what you were doing..and I looked over at the clock and it was 11:08!..different night but same time..how funny huh? Well I am glad to see you had a great time and you all got back safely. I love the pics! The one with you and Stela walking on the beach is so nice..you look great as usual.

Hiya

well it's about 2pm my time. We are all pooped. Stela woke at 6:30 for the day, she is still on Eastern time, it seems. Bummer, but we did get going early to make the most of the day. Shopping and eating, it's kinda fun being home...I don't think any of our friends realize it yet, it's been quiet so far - and that's ok...I get bugged by the phone most times anyway. Getting little weather reports from peeps on my cell tho, that's funny..kinda sneaky, us being back. Supposed to go to a candle party but I am not going. feel kinda bad since Steph left the office I don't see her much, and she just moved into a new house-but I am still jet laggin and just don't want to drive clear out to where she lives, it's an hour easy.
Living in a busy, trafficy place is NOT for me. I hate driving.
T, that's funny about the time. Glad to see you, I really missed you two! That pic on the beach is gross, the size of those damn arms? COME ON, insane.
I haven't been this uncomfortable in a very long time....I am probably over 260, I can always feel it. Sucks.
Well, good things for the shower/Fischer, Stela and Kate and ME. I love shoes...when the rest of the world fails me, I always have them...it's a comfort.
Weather is great here today....over 65 I think. Have yard work to do....unpacking to do...laundry to do...phone calls to make...mail to open...eyebrows to tweeze...I don't wanna do any of it.

T-those 2 pounds. You go back and forth w/ that damn scale. How are you feeling though? Excited to go on your trip? Things fitting more comfortably?
Ash, I bet you are so psyched. I am so over the travel part, I forgot how uncomfortable a plane is, much less when you're fat. You'll be so skinny in that seat, you could share w/ the kids.
Can't wait to hear from ya.
Talk later, nap time.

Welcome Home Girl!!!

Okay, so I love all the pics, but I absolutely adore the one of you and Bre in the tub chillin'!!! And then the beach with you, Stel, and Kate, happy fam!! So happy you had a wonderful time! The water is beautiful and I am impressed that you guys caught so many fish!!! WOWOWOWOW! OMG, and beer battered, and I am sure that included plenty of real beer on the side, YUM!!! And sweet tea, I can taste summer sun tea already! BTW, I usually don't get to bed till 11.

Yeah we were quiet in here, it just seemed time got away from us, plus I didn't want to have a ton of post for you to have to come back and read and catch up on. We both missed you tons!!!

T, 2 pounds, that bites, but next week they'll be gone, and you have been keeping up with the exercise, so no prob bob. Me, I have been really good this week and exercised a lot and guess what, I am 165 this week! How sucky is that?!?! Maybe I am working too hard, lol? So I decided to not sweat it and just keep up what I have been doing. I wanted to be into 150s by the time we went to Mex but this last 5 pounds to 160 has been a hassel!! Ugh! Anyhow, my plan is to maintain this 162-165 till I am back from Mex, then really dig in for the 150s.

So this morning, since I didn't do cardio last night, just did a long heavy walk in the sand in the afternoon, I decided to park the car at the library and walk the rest of the way to Curves. It was 27 minutes each way, then when I added my curves minutes, by the time I got back to the car, I had been exercising for an hour and a half! 715 calories! Yehaa! Then E took us to breakfast, I had a pastrami burger, no bun, yum, but too much food. So to work that off, we took the kids to the park, just our luck, there was a B-ball left there, E and I did a little one-on-one game for about 30 minutes. We were sweaty! I am feeling great today, now that I have some exercise under my belt.

So are both ya having good luck today, since it is Friday the 13th? So far so good here! Last night I watched Trust the Man, it was good and really funny in some spots, and man has David Duchovney (sp???) got hot!!!!! Lucky woman Tea Leoni!

Well, I think we have a few cans to recycle.....ok I lie, more like a mountain and a half to recycle, and the kids are willing to help pack em up, so I better take the help while it last, lol.

BBL, Ash

Hey

Ash. You are doing great. I love the plan, sounds awesome...once back you'll get to your goal. Awesome job already though. The daily's are so hard if you don't work it hard and make good choices. I for one, and I mean it, am just tired of eating. The decision, the food, the full feeling, the tiredness afterwards....just all of it.
Getting nervous about my surgery - but excited.
Well, house is in order. Stack of magazines is all that's left to go through. I LOVEEEE magazines. I got my new Paula Dean cooking mag. so excited. Out looking for a fondue pot today, no luck so far, why are they so ugly? Bre want's fondue and choco fountain for the shower. Well, I will have those things- and like 40 more. I overdue....what else? FOOD. But, I so enjoy the appetizers....much more than actual meal cooking. I love to experiment. New, new, new...that's me. Saw a damn drug rep at the grocery. UGH! SO hoping not to run into anyone I knew. I should have known that part of town I was bound to see someone..he was all..'hey, how was vacation???' SIGH...sad already! I don't wanna work. Ash, can I come to Mexico w/ you? Then T, I can meet up w/ ya's in Vegas.
My aunt was hounding us in NC about coming to Cali, so we are next spring. I asked her how far LA was from her, she said like 6 or so hrs. UGH.
She goes, 'whose in LA?' AND...before I could answer, Kate was like, 'OH, she has these online BFF and they are always talking about meeting up...etc'. LOL. She is funny. I was like, 'don't cheap'n our relationship by saying ONLINE FRIENDS'...lol.
Next time I think of calling, I will just do it. You two have to realize I really don't like the phone much...but once I am on it, I sit for days.
WELL...this quiet in here is killin me. Hope you two get to chattin' more soon.
Glad you two like the pics.
SO missed ya. Here are a few more.
