Hey Ash

Oh man..I know that kind of hard work! I hope E has been wearing a mask..very important..if he doesn't want to..make him. Sanding is always a good workout so don't worry.

I was in no mood for veggies n protein for dinner so I ate a pb n low sugar jelly sandwich and a glass of 1% milk.

Well I've been super grumpy today..the weight is just getting on my nerves.

Goodnite ladies..see u in the morning.

Morning Beauties.

Ash, those pics are priceless. I agree w/ T. Don't get that crap in your lungs! Thank God you are done over there....adding a closet sounds like askin a bit much, IMHO- but I know you two are the "help out anyone-anytime" kinda folks...so it's kinda hard saying no. At least, it is for me.

How exciting about that new place to eat. YUMM!

So my appt. yesterday....
It was good. I have more out of pocket than I thought...it is kinda expensive, but we are talking about my health and well being. Things are on the move. Next step is dietician next Wednesday. Then I have vacation, then when I get back I see the psych. and surgeon...to set a date.

Boom, boom, boom....all falling into place.
Meantime, I did eat pretty well yesterday and got some cardio in. Not enough, but some. Pilates tonight. It's been a while, I actually kinda miss it.
Muggy, humid and upper 70's here today.
I should get to jogging again....that 5K is right around the corner. Ash, you're gonna do so great!
About them deleting the post, it's just another reason we should relocate...just not enough freedom. If we are trying to improve ourselves, they should accept that, it's not like I am trying to sell something.
I attempted to print yesterday. One page of ours is 12 pages on the printer. YIKES! That is over 300 pages. Still, I want to find a way.
Think anyone would buy us as a book? LOL. Probably not.

Tuesday Morning

Hey there! How's everybody this morning? I am good, still waiting on TOM, cripes!! But the scale was all good this morning, even after a total carb binge at that party, so I am happy happy!

E wasn't wearing a mask when he did that sanding, I was so worried, that's why I came to look for a mask, couldn't find one, but it didn't matter too much since she was already 70% done. Bad for him . I am so glad we are done and last night she paid E for all the work, 400 buck and he gave it all to me, yipee, tat money, lol.

T, glad to see that the exercise is getting well under way again! Great job!!! I know all about being in a funk, it usually happens to me when I can't/haven't exercised.

Last night we were so busy doing stuff around here it was like 8:45 before I even looked at the clock and realised we hadn't dinnered yet. Too late to make dinner so we went out for a quick bite, turned out it is hard to find good food on Monday night, that is quick and kids friendly, besided fast food. My fave quick place is Hometown Buffet cause it is so cheap and they have endless proteins, but they closed at 8:30, anyway, we ended up at Shari's, yuck, I had an omelette with egg beaters, boring, lol.

Jina, too bad the expenses are going to be more that originally thought, but hey, it is an investment into your happiness and health, one that is so worth it! Glad you got pilates in, I haven't done it for a month now just cause we have so many workout DVD's now, we have been doing an ab crunch routine instead, but I should het back into pilates also. I did 20 minutes carb killer last night, and then finished watching The Wickerman, weird movie!

Printing out. OMG, I can't believe we have written 300 pages worth!!! We do have to find a way to compile though, I don't know if anyone would publish all our jabber, ya never know! That would be so cool though!

Oh T, the PB&J, I so love PB&J, yum! I was actually considering making a PB&J in a LC tortilla yesterday, but didn't have any no sugar jam, how many carbs does your stuff have in it? I need to find one, cause that could be a good quick meal for me, once I reach my goal.

Well, we are off to go buy one last gift for Mexico, I am ready to be done buying stuff, I mean, it's not like it is Xmas! LOL. Talk to you loveys this afternoon. Ash

Hi.

Just got an email from my Aunt Cathy in Ca. She just typed "I'm excited! " Only 11 days til we have our long awaited trip. Can't wait to see them. They have always been my favorite aunt/uncle. They are my god parents. Have 2 boys, did everything right. She has worked at the Social Security Admin. for 30 years and she is only 49. Uncle Al has worked for Chevron Oil for over 30 years...they have 2 boys, adorable, and have this beautiful life and family...I always admired it. Anyway- they take family vacations every year, if not two, which is why we have this time share situation...she has the kind that transfers everywhere. I always wanted to be like them. Now I am just glad I am me, with them in my life. Is that queer?
SO, just got back from tanning. It's 80 degrees and MUGGY as hell. The humidity sucks ass! Sometimes it takes your breath away, being right on the Mississippi River I guess.
PB&J, be still my heart. I love it on white bread...soft, fresh...devil white bread. O/W I don't eat white bread. Sigh. yum.
Glad you are done Ash, over at Christina's. Here I thought you two were just "helping out" , awesome on the $$. I was gonna say, damn you two take it a bit far, the helping out thing. Probably saved her A TON of $$$! What are you doing w/ your loot? Anything fun?
T- how's the tude today? Down and bummed? I feel ya, it will pass, right? Always does. You have got to be looking so damn good! We need a recent pic of your face. After 20 you can def. tell. GO ahead and SMILE in it. LOL. I will never let it go.
OK, break: 2 hb eggs, coffee Lunch: tuna/mayo no bread...out of the bowl...boring. Diet Dr. Pepper. Ash, a while back you mentioned that Jazz flavored pepsi, didn't you? I don't like any berries, or other flavors...just my cherry vanilla. Which reminds me of the vanilla liquor you had the other night T. Damn, that sounds good.
I love you guys.

Wassup guys? I know I have a tude..sorry..It will pass..I don't get like this often..I'm not the depressed type so I work at snapping out of it.

Jina you make me laugh..now that I've heard your voice (on my ans mach) I so hear you talkin! I don't know about looking damn good..20 lbs is not a big difference. All I know is it better not take me another 3 months to lose another 20..or I'll shoot myself

I'm excited for you girls and your upcoming trips..can't wait to hear all about them.

Viceroy, Santa Monica..39th bday..25 lbs lighter too!

B - 2 eggwhites 1/2 cup oatmeal 1 cup green tea

D - ahi tuna n spinach

T

When you were in w/ the Dr. several mo. back they did look into your thyroid level, yes? Not just TSH but T3, T4...other related levels?? I can't believe that w/ your menu plans you post, and exercise that even a bottle or 2 of red wine per week would in any way hinder you losing weight. Seriously. As frustrating as it makes me, for you, I can't imagine how you feel. I mean, with me, I am a total cheater, like all the time-so 3stepsforward-3stepsback is understandable...but you seem very consistantly good.

Bewildering me.
You look great in that pic, really.
You being around those skinny women is almost depressing. OR, it would be for me. They don't have the looks on ya, you are all pretty equally beautiful - but it sucks...this weight.
What is the smallest you have been in your adult life? I hope you win the battle....life is too short. Sighhh....just thinking about ya, and feelin your pain today more so than other days I guess.

I've been consistent..for weeks and weeks on end..the only time I lose significantly is if I practically starve and workout for an hour a day..otherwise it comes of so S L O W..

I appreciate your thoughts..thank you for that Jina..you are one special girl.

For my friends...Ash and Miss T. (Ha ha, that would make rick Mr. T...) LOL!

I am sad I missed the 1,000th post, because I wanted it to come from me saying some really sappy and important stuff...but that's ok...I do enough of that from day to day. I hope this really cute thingy comes through (who knows w/ this site!) it says some stuff I couldn't say better myself. Just wanted to tell ya both I could sit and chat for you thousands of times over....you both are a delight to my day, every single day. I look forward to peeking in, seeing how you both are and loving and laughing at everything that goes in your lives. I just want you both to know, I may not have conquered what I set to do, but that's okay with me...I am far more richer than when I came. Finding real friends in the both of you, thousands of miles away is the most awesome and special thing to me!
Being friends with you both has been really good for me...when I say I love you girls, I speak from my very large heart (hey, at least it matches the rest of me...lol) and I will say it as long as you have me around. You two...man, your the best.

Hi!

Morning friends.

Today is rainy and yuck.
Rounded out the day w/ 1/2 a burger from Famous Dave's (again, it's an addiction) Kate and I split it. Pilates was hard...No desire for cardio. Feeling so freakin huge lately.
The protein def. helps though! At least, I think it helps with water retension.

Well...I started printing out our pages. I highlighted just the posts, not the sigs...not the extra ones from others peeking in (what's the point?) and page 1 ended up being 11 pages. It's gonna take me a while. Kinda a pain to copy/paste especially from work.

OK, today will be a good day. hb eggs. coffee, tuna (again, boring) and salad w/ chicken for dinner.
I did get a lot of walking in yesterday, shopping. It seemed like hours, so that's gotta count for something, right?

Good morning lovely ladies

You sound great this morning Jina. I'll aggravate you and tell you what a beautiful morning it is..windy as heck and forever blue skies..never did rain yesterday. I guess it's safe to wash my car today..supposed to be another warm weekend.

I've been feeling huge lately too..like man..what am I doing this for?..is it even working? I guess it takes 3 months to see a difference. Your menu sounds like mine today.

B - hb eggwhites toast n avocado coffee w/cream
L - tuna w/out mayo..yuk n fruit
D - bigak n greens

The walking does count..every step! Where are you dear Ashley..probably busy with the kidoodles. Hope to hear from you soon...oh, and Jina..how sweet of you to take the time to print them out..good job.

T.

Hey girls!! Sorry I missed out on yesterday afternoon and night. We went to the store and when we came home it was quickly followed by Luka and Lex having explosive diahria (sp?) and making messes everywhere vomiting, oh man, it was a long day, they must have some stomach bug, ugggg!

yesterday, I did get in a short run and 30 minutes cardio though

Feeling really tired today cause I was up various times durring the night cleaning changing sheets, etc....

Ash, now I am going to read all that I missed XOXO

Wow, 1000+ posts !!! Yahoo!! Jina, copy and paste is what I started doing too..it'ss take awhile though, lol.

You menus for the day do look alike!! Too funny! Think I'll be having a scambled egg with tiny bit of cheese, lunch, pork with green sauce, minus the pork, add bigak and salad :-), dinner, turkey loaf and broc.

Jina, that poster is great, and your sentiments are so appriciated and that is so how I feel about you girls too, I am so thankful I found you both! Mwah!

Sounds like hot weather in Iowa! Is that normal for this time of the year to get so hot so fast?? And weird weather in Cali, and as always very weird weather here, sunny, rain, sunny, rain, windy, sunny.....and the list goes on,lol.

Think I'll use some of that money for Mexico, but the rest is going to the infinity tattoo, maybe I'll drive into Portland today and set up an appt with the lady....who knows.

Yesterday, when I list my exercise I was astounded that I had got that much in since it seemed like all day I was just catering to other people. We shopped too for what seemed like hours in the morning, so I hope I burned off my lousy dinner, nothing super cheaty, mostly good, but just dissappointing, one of those dinners that makes you want to push the rewind button and start all over.

Okay, out to run, got a new armband radio for running, going to go test it out. :-D

hey!

So, what are you planning for vacation, Ash? What do you guys do in Mexico. Are they more inland? Water, nearby?
T-what hotel are you staying in? I HEART Vegas...I gotta get back there. Have you two been to Chicago? You can come here, maybe for a long weekend....we can stay downtown, Michigan Ave..Kate gets great rates for hotels online...the shopping is AWESOME... I just love looking into Prada and Gucci - never could I ever afford even a scarf, but it's fun. So many things to do at Navy pier. We could eat at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. sit outside and drink, while we have great seafood....go to the Sear's Tower, eat below it at our fave, CHEESECAKE FACTORY!
Does that sound good? Keep it in mind.
Fun.

Off to finish this day. We are leaving early. Only 1 patient at 1pm. More finishing up of vacation shopping. Ash, I hear you on the what-is-this-f'in-christmas kinda shopping. New spring clothes for my girls. Nothing for me. Except shoes. I love shoes. They always fit.
I cant wait to wear bracelets again. Having a tiny wrist is something I miss.
Sigh. Someday soon.
Bye my sweets!

HOW RUDE OF ME,

Hope the kiddies are feeling better today, hope you don't get it. Don't know about your neck of the woods, but there are flu viruses all over here...lots of strep throat too.
Diarrhea is usually the first step/vomit/fever...you know, your a Mom.
Last night wasn't the best for me either. kate has bronchitis so she is hacking. Stela is back to her stuffy/full nose again, and we were out of Zyrtec..she couldn't even take her bottle last night..so plugged. Kate sat w/ her in our bed for 2 hours, just getting her unplugged enough to eat, then I took over...the dogs were acting stupid...I was so freakin tired this morning. UGHUGHGUHG!

We couldn't get enuf hours in a day to hang out and chat Hey J..wanna trade my smaller wrist for your skinny feet? I am the exact opposite..my wrist is ok..feet?..too fat..shoes never fit right..just another part of my misery..trust me..love your thick wrist and keep your slim feet!

hiya

I hear ya T. I had the fattest feet when I was pregnant, my toes looked like little vienna sausages. YUCK. They were so tight swollen. Ok, now I am totally craving vienna sausages...what a loser, right? Those damn things, no telling what's really in them..but I like em just the same. Not much I wont eat actually.

I like the MGM, we used to stay in condo's there, very near the MGM right off the strip....jeez, will you get any bathroom time? Aw, you beauties dont take much to get all glam, I am sure. Me on the other hand....when I actually DO get done up I make up for lots of lost time I guess.
I love fake eyelashes, lots of lip gloss, that type of thing.

OK - should run. Talk soon....my sweets.

Oh that sounds wonderful!!! I am game! We'll have to start a list of places we want to go and then just start ticking them off, one by one, at least once a year, maybe twice!! I have only ever been to the Chicago airport, during a long layover, but have always wanted to go for a real visit.

places on out list so far:
Chicago
Las Vegas
LA
Miami

While in Mexico, E's family lives in the heart of Mexico, in Mexico City, you ain't seen a city till you see Mexico City, whoa! But the Teotihuacan pirimides are only 45 minutes away, so I am sure we'll go do that again, especially if my mom comes down while we're there, and to check on E's property, haha, a chunk of land within viewing distance to the ruins, maybe someday we will build a house there, but I would prefer to own closer to the beach. We are also planning on taking one of the cars and touring down the pacific beach side maybe down to Huatulco, supposed to be very nice beaches there and not so over blown touristy yet. If we don't go down that way, we will drive over to Acapulco, E's grandma lives just outside in a tiny town, very quaint and cute.

Okay, gotta check out the rest of the posts Ash

Alright, now a real quick check in. Just had lunch, made it a fish salad instead of chicken salad. Took the fam to get haircuts this morning, they look spic and span now! luke and lex are better but still say their stomachs hurt, not much eats for them. We managed a quicky to the zoo, just enough to walk around in the sun. I, as always, was still freeeeeeezing!

Getting ready, takes me about 20 minutes for my daily routine, base, masacara, blush, blow dry roots. Funny, but my hair doesn't really need dried, but I just don't like the cold feeling, my hair looks best when I wash it and then sleep on it wet, lol. Bummer T that you'll have to share with a bunch of others, I feel ya, I never feel like I have the bath to myself, even if the door is closed, I swear to them that is a big sign that says "come on in, they party's in here!" LOL

I am enjoying small wrists these days, used to always hate them about as much as my fat fingers, but now I can even grab around my wrists with thumb and middle finger with room to spare. I will always suffer fat feet, got them from mama, too bad, but I suppose they will get better with even more pounds gone, haha.

Well, I think that covers it, there was something else I was going to say I but I have forgotten already, what else is new! I'll be back in awhile, Ash

Love yas!
