TGIF again

Jina, great job at reaching 251!! Those 40s next week girl!!!

And T, down a pound, it is better than staying the same!!

Well, I weighed in and wanted to let you girls know before I am off to curves, I got no woosh this week, I am the same as last week, SIGH. I don't think I will be able to get a 6 pound loss for the next 2 weeks so I probably won't make my goal. Darn! But, last night I had a very heavy protein dinner, early, but heavy. Yesterday, I only ate lunch, and then early dinner, so much for my trying to eat lots small meals. Today!

Off to Curves girls!

I'm about to get on the bike for another 10 minutes before lunch. I only did 25 this morning to break it up. I baked some chicken and I will have it with some avocado n tomato slices..yum. I haven't had much of an appetite..a little stressed. Stomach is always growling/burning but don't eat..just not in the mood these last few days. I'm glad it's friday and it is so beautiful outside..I have no business not enjoying it. It's supposed to be 76 & 78 this weekend.

I hope you had a good lunch J...you too Ash..you've been busy lately haven't u?

hey

Just got back from an ultrasound w/ Bre, it's going well and their baby is growing and thriving. I had a coffee w/ a squirt of sf caramel/no sweet and low and a dash of cream. The hospital has a really nice Java Station..so other than that minute steak, that's my day.

I have family over for dinner, making homemade pizzas....so it's looking like the tops for me.

Hello ladies! Well another long day was had by all of us, kids were driving me up the wall!

Chicken breast and handfull of lettuce for breakfast, then I wasn't hungry for lunch so I just had dinner, Thai lettuce wrap, and some Tilapia. Tons of water, need to keep up with that, flush things through!

Jina, the 5K sounds great!! I will be doing with ya on April 1st! Can't wait!

Wow, I am so happy for both of you girls that your rings are fitting comfy now! I am so aware of my rings now cause they are so loose, I need to get them fitted, I bet I will be a 7.5 now, and I have been a 9 all my life! I can wear my wedding ring on my middle finger.

So Curves this morning was #4 time this week and we are planning on going tomarrow too. Last night E didn't want to do cardio and we had Babel to watch, so I jogged while watching for 26 minutes! Can't believe it! The movie was long, didn't sleep till 2, but it was one you just couldn't shut off, and then ends and you go, "okay?!?" :-) A lot like Amorres Perros, but the gringo version, but what to expect, same director, and Gael Garcia too.

Hope you girls had a lovely day, I am off to read the days posts. Mwah, Ash

Oh man Jina, can I come over and smell the pizza with you? LOL.

T, I have been busy this week, I hate when I can't get in here more than 2 times a day, so much to talk about. I just love you girls to pieces!!! Your mom's pic is so much like you!! Wow, and I would never guess 58, more like 48 and her being your older sis! :-)

I will have to get a good pic of my mom while she is here. But she too is cam shy!

sat morn

I am a cleanin mo-fo today. Rearranged the living room and kitchen furniture and scrubbed floors...period must be here within a day or two, I usually get an extra burst of energy to clean. SO! Rachel thinks she has found a bridesmaid dress...I will try to email it in here if I can. Very pretty and it will be flattering, so that is a relief, but it's strapless..must keep going.

Pizza top w/ extra veges was dinner, no cardio - there goes my everyday this month thing, oh well, maybe I can pick up the minutes this weekend.

Ash, you are really gettting there w/ the minutes. Did you jog a treadmill? Outside?
Sucks about J's luggage T, that is always a fear of mine. I hope she gets it soon, finding the dress...wow, what a great feeling that was. Very exciting.
SO, I am going to eat scrambled eggs, been up for like 4 hrs already and now it is hitting me, I AM STARVING!
Love ya girls a bunch!

SATurday

Ashley..boy do I know how 3 little kids can get to you. I had 2 toddlers and an infant..was SO hard! How is it over there in Oregon? My kids were asking about Oregon this morning..funny huh? cuz the weather is so beautiful today that they were talking about living in other states etc.

Jina..good job on pizza night..proud of you I can't wait to see the dress. I guess we'll find out what the color scheme is when we see it. Yeah..J's bummed but she has Margie's closet..they can pretty much share clothes. If she was visiting me she'd be sh*t outta luck with this fat girl!

Well..it's a busy day today..lots of shopping. I have to find a new table for my family room/kitchen area. It's so hard..I look and I don't find anything I like unless it's at Pottery Barn

I hope you girls have a wonderful Saturday!

Love Lots Too.......T

Sat afternoon

Hey girls!! Checking in for the day, I know I am late, as usual with mom here, but we went for Pho today, everybody has a cold, I of course had mine minus the noodles add the broc, yum. I was full half way through, so I packed it up and it will be dinner. Everyone else ordered Dim Sum to go with, but I passed, all carbs.

Jina, that dress is drop dead gorgeous!!! Sleeveless/strapless, I am so affraid of those things, but it is beautiful!! And you can have them arms all the way in shape by the time of the wedding, no sweat....or should I say lots of sweat, lol!! I love the brown color, and with your tan girl, you will rock it!

When I jogged, I was jogging up and down my upstairs hall and then in place a bit. Would have liked to get outside, but then again, it was late and I was watching a movie, haha. Sure wish they would invent some sun glasses that I could hook upto a portable DVD player/tv to watch while running/walking. Not ideal for running on the street but at the track, it wouldn't be too dangerous, lol.

Glad you got lots of cleaning done, I just did too and getting my room whipped into shape has felt like I am not so couped up anymore. Got the bamboo blinds I wanted no E just has to put it up tonight. Pictures hung, and accessories placed. Still have to find the right paint color for the baths, but I am thinking a sage green, maybe the Pottery Barn green in the catalog??

T, Oregon is great! The rain does get a bit boring in Spring, but by the time Fall is over I am always happy to see it back. Lots of outdoor stuff to do here, and even though we aren't on a warm ocean, the river runs right through Ptown, and there are lots of places to go get in the water. Summers only get really HOT for about 2 weeks of the year in August, the rest of the time we don't even turn on the air. We don't even have to turn on the heat very much from late May to Late September. All in all it is a nice green place to live. I do love the warmth of So Cal though.

Pottery Barn is one of my fave places to haunt, I go in and soak up all the good ideas!! So funny that you mentioned it earlier, cause just now did I look down and finish reading your post and see you mentioned it too!! I am on the look out for some stacked crystal/glass ball side table lamps, but the ones at PB are like 179!!! I want to pay way way less than that, I will prob just get the Target ones if they ever get them in stock again. Have fun shopping, and if you do get a table there, do tell!!!

luggage lost, man that does bite for J!! That is why I always travel with an extra pair of undies in my purse, I have had that happen one too many times!! LOL.

Have a good one girls, will try to check in later, Ashley

HIYA!

Hey. I love Pottery Barn too!! Just another reason we are all cyber sisters I guess. Have my eye on the fork and spoon art, and I am falling in love w/ the Chesapeake collection of outdoor furniture!! We have some nice pieces as gifts from our wedding, otherwise PB is a little out of my budget....Ash, you and I = Target lovers for life! I use places like that for inspiration and then do my own version. Yah, caviar taste on a peanut butter budget.
Did you find anything T? I have been shopping myself. Looking for baby shower stuff for Bre's baby shower. They have decided on Fischer Gray Opatovsky did I tell ya that? LOVE IT!
I picked the date 05.06.07 for the shower, just because I love the date...kinda queer that way.
I am making the invitations, cuz I am really into nice things for little money and my taste way exceeds my means, so I was working on some stuff today and the outside is coming together great. I took a pic to show ya, hope you can see it pretty clearly.....
Ash, how long is Mom there? Glad you ate less at Pho...we thought of eating that today, but I passed, not strong enough to turn down the noodles. I like your movie sunglasses, hey T-perhaps we can team up w/ D&G and make a fabulous looking pair featuring new releases...we'd bank roll.
Glad J is finding clothes in your sisters closet----same w/ me sister, so don't feel bad.....although they might want to borrow occasionally-they are way too big. Well, not for long.
Ash, you love the dress??? THANKS! So do I, I really do.
Ta-ta for now lovelies.
Me and Stel, invitations in progress and Myles and Bianca (my nephew).

Oh yeah, caviar on a peanut butter buget perfectly describes my style!! That is why we were able to remodel the whole downstairs/kitchen(although small) with new everything, for 10,000 bucks. And did I mention I love Target, lol! oh yeah, and that PB outdoor collection, yum!! I have drool stains on that page of my catalog!

I absolute LOVE LOVE the name Fischer Gray! So cute, and so masculine! Good choice Bre! And the invites, are beauts, I am crafty in that way too! Whenever it is wedding or Quinceanos time, I always hope I get recuerdos or the like that I can exercise my craft muscle. For Maya's 1st Bday, I made really cute cutout and ribbon invites, not too far off from the ones you are making now. It is so much fun to start with a few sheets of paper and some strands if ribbon and end up with an awesome finished project. Love's it! The date for the party, too cool! And as always, how do you look so great all the time?!?!?!! You are just awesome, and munchkin Stela is growing up so fast, she looks even bigger than the last pics you posted, they grow like weeds huh, lol.

Well, mom goes home on Tuesday, but happy to report, not a single cheat today! Wanted to, but didn't, they got Dibs at the grocery outlet, and everyone ate them in the car, well I just slogged down my water, and went on. yeah!

And yeah, I do love the dress, I looked through the entire website at all the dresses and I think out of all of them, the 550 is one of my very faves, I do also like another one that is kinda swept up in between the boobs and then hangs off to each side nicely. What a horrible description, any sentance that has "boobs" and "hangs off to the side" should be outlawed, but oh well, I am at a lose for better words, LOL!

Well, it is getting late, and I really need to pee now, so I'll see you girls tomarrow, sleep well! Ash

Morning

Hi girls. Growing like a weed is right, where does the time go? As I reach the last quarter of her scrapbook I am like, what? Almost 8 months......surreal. Anyway, I certainly don't always look good, that is the real me though, hair pulled up, no make-up...I have never been a person that has to be "ready" and "on" to go out. I have taken plenty of trips to the grocery in my pj pants...I just dont care about that kind of stuff. Sure, who doesn't like to look put together once in a while but since Stela, I just don't feel the need. None-the-less thanks for the compliment.

I wish you were near, we could make invitations to the fabulous party we'd be throwing for US, once reaching goal. I did no cardio so far these last couple days, just didn't want to and I dont want to today. Not cheating and I am smelling the most wonderful chorizo soup that is finished and simmering. THANKS again for the recipe.

I weigh tomorrow w/ Steph to see what the damage is ---- hope it's at least the same as Friday, that water weight woosh always scares me.

Still waiting on TOM, so over it, it would figure the letters for shortening a period would spell a guys name. Men. Ugh.
I was laughing about you talking about the dress...funny. Thankfully my girls stay put since the breast reduction....they used to be HUGE! I dont focus enough on my assets....time to start doing that.
Your kitchen is a dream to me. Give us a few years here and it is ON girl. This house is going to completely transform. I cant wait to get outside and landscape this spring. The yard is gross, because Yancy (friend-previous owner) had 2 big labs and never took care of it. So gross...but not for long.
It's looking nice out, but it's all a big lie. High winds and low temps.....still hard snow everywhere... puke.
Well, hope cardio was fun. I am off to taste my soup. Had some cold shrimp way earlier...otherwise, I am on a low-low carb kick today.
check ya's later.

Ps

I am thinking on our projects, and for me....the computer room....I am going to do black (matte) trim and closet doors and paint the walls a super light color...in a real light celery green or lightest shade of pink....then accent in toile ( I love toile) print. You can always add to a black/whiteish room...that way it will be more flexible. Trying to get my sewing stuff in order for "Thread." if that ever happens. Well, if I do it myself, I will make it happen!

I will take a pic or two of this nasty room before I start working on it. Hey, have you ever painted a floor? When I ripped out the carpet there was the most disgusting old school tiles and I have seen Debbie Travis paint a floor before, I guess if you just put a sealer over it....I will look into it-just thought I would ask.

SUNday

Good afternoon girls..sorry for not checking in yesterday but I peeked in and seen you both hadn't written so I thought I'd save it and come back..never did of course. Anyway, yesterday was mostly protein with some popcorn at night..but not enuf exercise..like Jina..I just didn't feel like it.

I love the chocolate brown..make up, hair..even pale skin..all the girls wil look beautiful. I do endulge in pottery barn but I am also a huge Target fan..I'm there once a week..every week!

It's so nice to see pics..love the natural at-home doing my thing pics those are fun.

I still have some more shopping to do today..no luck in finding a table yesterday..I saw a black table (pottery barnish) but I have a white kitchen and white shutters in my family room so I don't know with all that white if it'd go so I'll still keep looking and go back if I can't find anything else.

Ashley..nice to see you sorry that mom's visit is almost over..they sure do help us out don't they? I'm glad to hear you are still shying away from cheats even though you can spare a little with all that weight loss..good for u!..that is the key to maintenance.

Oh Jina...the TOM comment was funny!

Hey

Hey Peaches.
well, here to report I fell into the Pho tonight. It was on my mind since reading your post Ash, and sister brought it up too so we went. Shared our favorite #13 and spring rolls, which was way more than enough food. I kept myself fuller by drinking tea.

T, did you not read about the room remodel and the black and white? How more classic can you get, and still be able to shake it up w/ accents here and there. I love black tables. If we didnt get the espresso one we have, it would have been black. Oak makes me sick.....another reason I am not totally happy w/ the cabinets I have here...ugh, in time.

Did get more silk damask throw pillows, I admit- I am a total addict!!! I don't know what it is.
Ashley, I got a VCR. Bre had one so I took it from her today. SO, since it's still totally unrunnable (yah, I made that word up) outside I am going to pop in my new slim in 6 and do that in the morning. GRRRRRR.
Ask me tomorrow cuz I will use every excuse NOT to do it I'm sure.

Well Bianca just got a bath and Luca is next...I better go help Kate or the entire bathroom will be flooded!
L Word tonight. You know what follows the L word......

Hey J

I see you J how are you beautiful? I'm just peeking in and I see that you are roaming..or at least..your computer is left on lcf.

Yes, I know black goes..but am afraid..a little much since I have a white ceiling fan..white cabinets..white baseboards and white shutters..and restoration hardware green walls..I know it would go but am afraid to go for it since I'm used to having the boring white country table...ya know? Yes, I did read your black and white idea..maybe I just need to be bold like you J.
How funny...I hate oak too LOL...except for the hardwoods

Ashley..I must confess..I had a big dinner..why am I confessing to Ash..cuz she is so damn committed and when I grow up I want to be like her! I had a small steak with wheat pasta/w garlic n green beans..and a salad..a little too much oil and I shouldn't have had the pasta. I'm not worried..it won't affect me much..but I wanted to confess.
