Mornin darlin's!

HI! Well, TCM is a must rent. I get so worked up about those kinds of movies...my favorite scary ones are those where there are some hillbilly ass weirdo-s that are all totally inbred and psycho, that noone knows about because they probably don't even have SSN# so they can kill everyone and get away w/ it. OMG! So much anxitey! I am a fan of talking through it "GET OUT OF THERE, BEHIND YOU-OMG, GIRL RUNNNNN" so pretty annoying I guess.

Let me know what you two think! I want to buy it. Funny you mentioned Devil wears Prada T cuz I was gonna tell you both how super cute I thought that one was and I will buy that too! We rent, from the store---I know-how dinosaur-ish right? But we go in movie spurts-so it doesn't pay to do Netflix, besides we have a zillion cable channels, and lord knows cable is expensive enough.

SO! Eating last night was bad. Pizza. Hummmm....wonder where that idea came from. HAHA! It's ok, I had my fill - though did NO exercise yesterday!
I know, I know! Believe me, my abs and ass were still killing me. Ash-did you like the russian twist?
Last night was my first full period day. Snuggling and eating was a very good thing for me.
Today I am back to rockstar status. 1 HB egg for break. 2 small coffee, lunch is steak w/ onions and peppers. Dinner.......better finish the roast I didn't eat.
Jogging and arms here at work at lunch.
Good job w/ the exercise T. That helps curb my appetite too.....I am proud of you. Ash- menu sounds great. Girl how do you make it on $40 a week at the grocery? I need YOUR shopping list!
good day girlies!

ps

Ash- I thought the Omen was kinda stupid. Did you like The Exorcism of Emiley Rose? I liked that a lot. What about The Decent? I was hyperventilating through that one.

Movies

Sorry about the pizza ideas, LOL. But now it is out of our systems.

Well, I have to put TCM on my list. I like The decent a lot but it reminded me of another movie a lot too, can't remember which......maybe The Cave? Pulse was very good, kept me awake and heart pumping. Omen tonight, but we'll see how far I get if it is cheesey. I love exorsist movies, I think because it is quite a real subject, and could happen, IMHO. E said when he was a teenager his cousin was possesed. She had to be strapped to the couch for like 2 months. All of the family, and you know Mexican families, HUGE, would go pray for her at the house. He said he hated going cause she would swear, scream, and spit and do all sorts of weird things!! How I would have loved to see that!!

Groceries, my secret, we have a really good inexpensive store, Winco, T you probably have seen it. (W.ashington, I.daho, N.evada, C.ali, O.regon) I also just buy the produce I am going to use that week, and only buy what is on sale. I base what I am making for the week on what is on sale. I used always buy for 2 weeks but found myself throwing away A LOT of food. For my meat, I buy (they sell) in bigger quantities so it is much cheaper. Yesterday I bought Boneless Skinless chix breast for $1.69/lb. When I don't buy chix breast there, I buy it through E, even less, $1.20/lb. And then, last but not least, we are now eating correct portion sizes. Before I would buy big packs of meat and it would only last 2 meals, when it should have lasted 4, that type of thing. So those are all my spend less tips. Unfortunately yesterday, I went with a list of the basics that I was totally out of, and I was hungry, but the killer, E was with me. I HATE HATE when he shops with me, he let's the kids buy tons of junk we don't need or want. He is a VERY compulsive shopper, and when I say we don't need/want it, he gets bent out of shape, LOL. So I quit saying anything while he is with me, it is only once in a blue moon.

T, you did a whole hour on the bike, wow!!! Super!! I can't wait to see Devil Wears Prada, but it is a chick flick so I am sure it will be a week or two . I just got back from Curves and feel great!

Well, I am off to the post, holler at ya girls later Ash

MID day dues

Hi girls...been trying to keep myself busy today..drank 3 cups of green tea today to keep from munching. I felt really hungry about 30mins ago so I ate some sesame crackers (I never eat crackers..eek) w/ a little cream cheese.

For movies I loved some of the clothes in Devil..my gosh..I kept thinking I want to wear that white coat!! I haven't seen TCM and want to see it bad so that will be next...also I am a big SAW fan so I will see III on tuesday.

I wouldn't worry about the pizza..been there done that..just keep movin!
Ash..I don't know of winco I haven't heard of it.. I am a Trader Joes girl all the way I spend around $80 every 3-4 days..the fish gets expensive!

Well, I'm gonna go finish Oprah...talk soon!

TGIF !!

Down 3 lbs and man was that hard work! It probably would have been 5 cuz I had some cheats here and there. I have learned that it's just not worth it. I have to admit this weekend will be challenging..my best friend Jeannie and my oldest son have the same birthday 1/23 so we will be celebrating both this weekend. I will make eating super clean my mission.

How are you girls I missed you both posting yesterday evening.

T.

Good Morning Friday!!!

Hello ladies!!
Good job girls on the loss!!!
T, I think 3 pounds is great, the biggest number yet for you!!! Keep it clean this weekend and you'll be rewarded with another great number!

Jina, 4 pounds!!! That is a stellar number. Your awsome running is really kicking those calorie's butts!! Good job!!

I weighed in at 183!! -2.6 pounds, yeah!! I made my expectations for this week even with my candy cheat, and pizza binge! Okay, so now that I weighed in, I can let the cat out of the bag. After I ate that pizza, I ballooned up to 191!!!! But going back to WOE, it came off a few pounds a day, phew!! That was a good expiriment though, I saw how fast/slow I can recover.

Well, things are great here, so glad it is Friday! Fun weekend coming up. Supposed to be warming up (40s, LOL) finally. Check back later, Ashley

T your goal and menu looks great, sounds like this week you will really see those numbers go down!! Double thumbs up chicky!!

Jina, after searching around, and reading a bunch, I have determined that I do not have the privledges yet to have a pic(ticker) in my sig. I am not sure if that changes with the amount of posts accumulated or with time or what. I thought for sure I had seen people with "things" other than words or smileys in their sigs. But as you saw above, we can copy and paste our tickers into the main body of a post, so if you have a muliple clipboard you could have it on there and everytime you post, just paste it in to the body. That seems like a lot of work though, I think I will just update mine once a week and post it for you girls to see.

Alright, I have to get off this computer and move my butt a little, didn't do cardio last night, fell asleep watching Ant Bully at 8:30?!?!?! :-) Ash

SOY

Ash...I wanted to put this out there for you to research. I know you like soy and so do I but I don't eat it unless it's soy sauce on my sushi. I read it is really bad for you. If you do a search on google - dangers of soy you can read for yourself true scientific tests results that include damage to the thyroid gland (which we want working correctly to lose weight) and big time hormonal inbalances. Soy is making millions so no way are you going to hear that from the FDA..think about it.

check it out

T.

Girls! We are rockin the house w/ all these lost pounds. How cool are we? I am so happy Ash-not only did you recover but you lost over 2 more pounds after a mega loss last week? Total inspiration! I guess I will let the ticker thing go for now. See what happens. Bummer, it's so cute!

My goal for next week is 245. I want to jog 1/2 hr 5 times next week (2-15 min sessions) Arms 4 times and abs 4 times.

Just got back from ultrasound w/ my sister. They are having a boy! Very exciting! Aside from my Dad, nephew Myles and Peter (BIL) they are the only boys out of 10 girls in the immediate family!! It's so fun. The only bad thing is I hoped she'd be able to use all of Stela's clothes--and the girl has clothes OK! Oh well, shopping if we must!

Had 1 hb egg, 2 coffee and can of tuna w/ 2 tsp mayo. Dinner is steak and cottage cheese. I haven't had any type of cheese for days...oh wait, that damn pizza. Oh well, it shouldn't stall me!
Have a good day ladies!

T, thanx for the heads up, I will do a little research on that later today. If that is the fact, I am going to be so bummed, I love soy protein, and milk! I know in the past experts have been woriied about the estrogen link and some types of cancers.

Jina, a BOY!! Yeah!!! It is so fun to have a new baby in the family! Especially one that needs to represent. When I was preggers the second time I was so torn between wanting a boy or girl, the guy upstairs must have got fed up and gave me one of both, LOL!! Girl for all the cloths we had from Maya (most from uncle Fofo, a cloths diva, that only shops the stores I don't dare go in cause they are too spendy,)and boy cause we already had a girl and E really wanted a boy (of course ) Anyhow, give my congrats to your sister!

Alright, I really am going now, mopping the floor and working up a sweat, then YBB the hip hop abs one. Chat later, Ash

Evening check in

So I just finished Yoga Booty, unfortunately I wasn't able to give it my total attention. I was interupted twice at the door and once with the phone?!? LOL. All day long nobody wanted to see me or talk to me but as soon as I put in that DVD, the whole world wants a piece of me, figures.
But the 2 door interuptions were ego busters, both people were flabbergasted at how I looked. They wanted to know what I was doing since it had only been 2 months since we had seen each other last. My one neighbor that lives behind me asked if I could get her daughter off the bus and watch her until she got home, work emergency. Fine by me, Maya and her are good friends and play well together. She was so amazed about me she went and dug in her closet to give me some cloths that didn't fit her anymore but didn't have the heart to give to goodwill. She gave me 4 pairs of sweet pants, almost new and a few shirts/sweaters. My faves are these grey pinstripe pants from old navy, they are low cut and show off my newly found waist a bit and have a little swing to them. They are 14's and feel roomy. Yeah! I went on to try the rest of the pile, sizes 12, 10, and 8. I was able to fit right in the 12s, squeeze into a strechy 10 slim denim skirt, and shoe horn my way into the 8s, with muffin top. I say this often but, I can't believe it!?!?!?! So have you girls gone to try on any pants yet? I always want to post all this stuff but don't want you guys to get tired of me posting it. I really want to hear about how cloths are fitting you girls!! This is so awsome!!

Jina, your goals for this next week really rock! How do you do it?? Run for 15 minutes, I am so amazed!!!! I really want to do it but I always feel like all my jiggles really weigh my momentum down. Do you wear REALLY supportive under stuff. I am thinking maybe that will help. Tonight I am going to try to jog 10 minutes, but a jog in place, which doesn't even begin to touch your 15 of real running, but I got to get this going. You are such an inspiration!

Okay, so that leads into BRAs. All of mine are way too big now, cup wise, they bag in the front. Too bad we lose weight in the boobs, seems unfair that the fat that we want to stay goes first!! I haven't bought bras in such a long time, mostly cause it takes so long to find a good fit, so do you girls have any tips on what brand to start looking at? Wouldn't I love to go to Vicky Secrets and buy some of their stuff, but think I'll wait till I make goal, so I buy the right size for longevity.

T, those nachos sound tasty, I made a burrito tonight with my chile verde and some Jack cheese, and lettuce in a LC wrap, it was yumO!

Oh, I haven't seen Black Dahlia yet, what is it about? I don't even remember seeing the commercials.

I am off to do some running, in place , tchau for now, Ash

Ticker help
Oh, J, click on the link for your ticker. When the window opens, put your mouse on top of your ticker, right click, and select copy. Then in the body of your message, hit ctrl v, that should paste it into your message. Ash

Okay, I just ran 10 minutes in my house. I did figure 8s through my downstairs. These 10 minutes seemed much easier than my 5 minute runs at the track? Hmmm, maybe it is seeing all that ground to cover that throws me off and makes me feel tired much faster, weird. When I walk fast, I walk a 14:40 min mile, so I know I jog about the same speed as that. Is that about how fast you run jina? The way you are running you probably run way faster! I'll catch up one of these days, lol. Ash

Sat morning - LONG post

How is everyone? Yes..I was too lazy to get off the couch last night to post. I see Ash was hanging out...you know..one thing you guys have to know about me is I stay clear from shopping for myself. It's too painful for me. I figure when I get sick of not getting into the clothes I want...I'll make a change so here I am...trying to make a change. I have tried on this one oxford polo shirt that didn't button...it now closes in the front so I guess that's a start. Ash...you've lost a good hunk so you'll see a BIG difference! You've done great and it just reminds me how far ahead I'd be right now If I was as dilligent as you since Dec.

You'd be proud..I got up this morning and went to the couch (I have an awesome 50" plasma) in there to watch Three Kings (i love mark wahlberg) and there is only an LCD in the livingroom (for the kids) but that's where the bike is...so I got my FAT butt up and went to ride the bike while I watched....that is huge for me.

Here's what I plan to eat today...

B - 3 eggwhites 1/2 grapefruit
L - turkey burger w/veggies
D - salmon n spinach
