Jina, I am so sorry that you are feeling so shi*ty, pardon the pun. I hope you get better real soon. Just think of it as a fat flush, you'll be much lighter when it is all over. If we weren't doing low carb I would suggest the diarrhea diet, it starts with a BR, I forget, but it's bread, rice, banana, and other like things, of course all high carb stuff. :-( Get better!! Ash

Okay, so I just went below here and pushed post reply, then at the bottom of that I went to manage attachments, and uploaded from my computer. I had to shrink the picture down so now it looks a little funky, especially Lexi's eye, but oh well. Jina, are you trying to use the URL function or upload from your computer, maybe that is the prob? OKKK

What a spook, I was making it so much harder! I was waiting for it to show up as soon as I put it in the reply post, but once sent-it showed right up!

SO! That was me the other night, and as SCARY as that one is there is one much yuckier, complete w/ a stretch mark show-for your viewing pleasure! in my journal....beware-it's not for the weak.

ANYWAY- feeling super this morning. My 2 eggs and 2 whites scrambled were yummy and I am already sloshing around with water. I cant wait to jog today as weird as that sounds, I am loving it getting easier! I need to brave the garage and find those damn weights so I can do that arm workout. As you can tell, the arms need some SERIOUS WORK, they look worse in the other pic.
SO! Whats the weekend plan? T-how was the blood work-up? How are your exercise sessions w/ the bike? Ash-back to Yoga Booty!?

OK ladies. I am off to clean before my little sweet pea wakes, which will be as soon as I start cleaning---everytime, like clock work!
OH, Ash- those kids are said-it-out-loud (and I DID!) ADORABLE!!
PS-anyone know how to get new smiley's on here? These are getting old. Thanks again for the pic. help Ash. I will include more in my posts from now on!
Love to you girls- Jina

Sat and pics are great

Jina!....I think you are very pretty!..those jeans will close in no time Ash..ur kids are adorable..what a sweet bunch. People look at my kids all the time bcuz they are two blondes and one brunette..it's funny..its just plain genetics. The mom has brown hair and the dad is blonde Although, my sons have hispanic "features" and strongly take after my family and not my hubbys. Well girls I'm off to a good day..last night the fam went and got sundaes...it was SO hard for me..but I did it...not even a plain scoop for me! Today will be hard so I'm ready for it. Take care you two and have a great Saturday.

Good Afternoon Girls!

Well just reading the new post makes me want to close up the computer and get to work exercising, so I'll keep it breif for now.

Jina, we have the exact same body type all the same curves! Arms too , I am so self conscience about my arms and the jiggles beneath them, LOL. I hate wearing sleeveless shirts and bathing suits because of them. Although it may be scarry for you to share, I think it shows strenght and determination on your part, and brutal honesty, and your saying, "look at it while you can cause I won't be like this for long!" For this I give you a standing ovation!! I need to post some of the same ones, as an extra reminder to myself.

Jina, the picture of Stela is so cute!! You should enter it into some contest for celebrating New Year's. Parenting mags always have those types of contests, she would win for sure!!

So glad everyone's eating is going great!! T, the ice cream thing is a major thing for me too, good job!!! I too took the kids for Cold Stone 3 days ago and left with only one bite of Lexi's ice cream, mostly out of curiosity, she got cotton candy with marshmellows, strange! It was hard to watch my mom and each of the kids sit and eat huge cups of creamy ice cream, but I just let it go and reveled in the fact that it wouldn't end up on my hips this time, and actually seeing how funny the kids look while they have ice cream all over the place , was almost as good as eating it.

We went to mini Mexico here and I had a chicken taco and carne asada taco, both heaped together minus the tortillas with some cabbage and salsa on them, it was so satisfying. I had to have 1 bite of tortilla, they were fresh hand made ones, good, but 1 bite was enough.

No YBB yesterday, but I am going to do it today, but first I am on my way to the track with the kids, do a little running. I too am looking forward to testing my endurace, it is kind of like a game now. I think I will walk a lap, run a lap, walk a lap, and run a lap, and see how long it take me to do that mile.

Be back later, Ash

Ps. Mom went home today, back to regular routine, I am ready to go all out and pump it up!!!!

Back from the track! Lap 1 fast walk, 3:50, Lap 2 jog 3:00, Lap 3 fast walk 3:49, lap 4 jog 3:20, lap 5 cool down walk 4:50

Before I went to the track I went to go pick up my dad's briefcase, someone found it in some apartments, yeay! My dad called me to ask if I would pick it up and he was almost crying! He is one of those people that trusts people way too much and when that trust is violated he doesn't deal well. So I am so glad it is found, and with everything intact, even glove box contents was dumped inside. Also I stopped my the local thrift shop in hopes of finding a cheap watch with a timer, what luck, a green one to match my new coat, and only a buck fifty!

Good Morning Ladies!

Happy Sunday to ya girls! It is grey grey grey here but at least it is not raining! I told E about my trip to the track yesterday and now he really wants to go too, so we will go train as soon as he gets up. Late yesterday afternoon I did the whole Yoga Booty basic routine. I need to really do it at least every other day to build up my stamina and to start memorizing the routine. The streches feel so good and the ab work feels burns a lot. Then when E got home we did the kickbox cardio that he likes, I didn't push too hard since I had already done 2 workouts. Now that I have my timer watch I was able to take my heart rate, I was still in my target range even when I wasn't working as hard, cool!

I forgot to post yesterday that we went to walmart, big trip for us, about a 30 minute drive away , E needed new work shoes and it is the best place to get them, they are so cheap and last forever! Anyway, I just couldn't resist trying on some of their pants. Last time I bought one of their brands was more than 4 years ago, capri womans 18, and before I started to lose weight the first time I had stopped wearing them cause they were too tight, yikes! Well, yesterday I pulled 5 pairs of 14s off various racks and slid into them and was able to zip and button, no problem! OMG!! I didn't buy any, I am waiting to buy a 12, but I could have about cried. I think I was about a 14 when I got married, my wedding dress was a 14, but wedding dress sizes are so weird. I am finding it is going to take a lot of toning to get to where I want to be, because although I fit into a 14, the package underneath the cloths, is no where near what it looked like last time I was a 14, bummer !

Okay, so what are you girls up to today? Workouts? Either of you go and check out the free 8 week pass to Bally's? I have to print ours out, but they aren't valid until the 13th. When I do go, let's do precor and bike challanges! See ya girls later! Ash

Hey Girls!

Just a quick post, I am busy this weekend. Yesterday was hard hard hard and I did have a cupcake. I was feeling so unsatisfied w/ this low low carb thing-by now I should not be hungry AT ALL! No such luck. Anyway. Jogging 6 minutes again, feeling some pain in my heels, switching out running shoes (I have like-20 pair, used to manage a shoe store!) that always helps. I went to mall w/ friend yesterday to the same store as our Bmaids dresses and they were marked down again so I called Rachel, and ended up trying one on...didnt want to-but I did. It was a womens size 18.
WAY TO BIG!
They didnt have a womens 16 just a regular 16 and instead of getting discouraged when it didnt quite fit-I just left it at that. I think I will buy the ladies 14 for her wedding next february. I will hope like hell it needs taken in a lot more. SO, Ashley I feel you with the trying on things---its a wonderful thing for the self-esteem. 14's too big?? You are awesome! LUCKY!
Well, going to mom's today. Two of my sisters are leaving for job core next week so its a send off. Complete w/ their favorite meals. One meal is fried rice and egg rolls the other is chili dogs. GREAT! I will make it work.
Precor tonight and jogging.
T-great job resisting-get-togethers are the WORST, you are a freakin' rockstar. No way I am strong enough to do that well.
Talk soon girls!

1 little cupcake, no big, just a small bump in the road, proud that you just had 1, I might have dove in head first after one!

Jina a womans 18 too big, I have a huge smile on my face and clapped out loud when I read it!! Super Duper! Sounds like a good plan to hold out and buy a 14 and get it sized from there.

Well, I guess my post was a bit misleading, the 14 weren't too big, but the fact that I could zip and close with no gymnastics was so cool. Since trying those on at the store, and thinking about doing before pics in my original goal pants, I got them out to see how far I have to go, OMG, I put them on and with some sucking in, I was able to close them!! I can't freaking believe it!! It feels like I am dreaming! I have put these same pants on a couple of times a year for the last 8 years and could never even get my legs into them, let alone get em over my hips! This is so crazy! My whole dream was to get back into them, and now I am almost there, I can't wait to see what I look like at 160! Shopping will finally be fun! To be able to go in and buy a size that I hope the checker doesn't look at will be so nice. So T what is your goal size? Ash

For me they used to always be about what I was going to eat. Now that I have to make the food not a priority, I feel like I miss out and that parties aren't as fun anymore. Do you guys feel the same? I know I need to overcome this, as time goes on I think it will become easier/better. T- stay solid and resist! You can do it!

The cupcake conspiracy......

winding down the weekend. Went to Mom's...didn't do well. It was hard w/ plain hotdogs my only option. Ate WAY too much bad stuff and there were more DAMN cupcakes! I am really mad at myself tonight. Something about Mom's and eating so much....when I can conquer that-I will have made it!

T-how can we get through this gathering thing? Making sure we have guilt free things including alcohol (if we have to have something!) is a good step...better then being pissed about it-or not having as much fun as we could have cuz Ash---I feel the same way. If I aint in the mix w/ everyone else...I get BITTER! At least for right now.
I long to be in the stage where food and drink is something I dont over do at a party...honestly, why else do we have them? OH YAH---to hang w/ our loved ones....I almost forgot!
Well miss Ashley I am waiting for your very embarrassing before pic. Sounds like you are not too far from the old jeans. I know the feeling exactly cuz when I was pregnant I tried on those 18's and they never made it past the knees...........That is SOO exciting!!!!! Lets see it. T-you said you'd post more pics too, and I am now remembering you said you DONT HAVE JEANS? What do you wear?!

What a super-exciting-fabulous goal you have...a sexy pair of jeans! By spring---NO PROB!
K girls, no exercise to report and I was very off track today...still no TOM and its getting to be 3 weeks late...what is that about?!?!?!?!
Have a great night. Check in tomorrow morning!
Restarting the Kimmer experiment. Only protein (lean, + eggs!) 3 days! Still weighing in Tuesday!
Love ya guys! Jina

PS

Ashley- I just reread your post and wanted to make sure you knew how excited for you I am with the old jeans. I know the feeling, as I have come close before to a size 16 no stretch button fly really nice jeans that I still have---or maybe just gave to my mom this year. For the last 6 years I have held onto them cuz they were like $50 and so cute, and still very in style. I finally gave up but when I got down to 229 a few years ago I had them back on, buttoned...though breathing was a challenge...and I had a muffin top....otherwise, they were ON and I just remembered all the times I tried then and there was like, NO FREAKIN WAY and I would feel so sad and depressed and I probably went and ate to feel better....but I am trying to tell you......

Take pride in your accomplishments so far, we focus so much on the destination and forget the small successes along the way - just trying to get to the finish line.
The journey would be no fun w/out you and T, so
Congrats. on the progress....take the pictures cuz girl, you are SOOOO going to pass those mutha's up soon, and I want you to have a picture of you when you werent quite in them yet.
I am so lucky to have you girls.

Bawling!!!

, but in a good way! So maybe it is due in part to the fact that the kids are watching a movie with some sad type music in it right now but when I read your post Jina, I got all teary and emotional. It is so true that we get stuck with our eye on the prize and forget to take part and enjoy the little stuff. Thank you for the praise! I will always remeber this journey through one of the toughest times in a persons life, as a joyous one, cause I had you girls! Ash

Okay here goes......GULP!! Warning!!! Nasty Flab!

So here are my brutally honest pics that will have to serve as my before pics. OMG, If I had taken pics when I really started 2 years ago I don't think I would be able to look at them, these are hard enough on the eye.
