New Year's friends



Greetings fellow earth travellers. I would really like a pen pal. Next year I plan to travel back home for Christmas (Southern Ontario) and I would love to go back healthier. I have about 110 to loose and I have a host of health problems that I hear LC is a great way to help.

I'm on the computer a lot and just need a little encouragement (or kick in the you know what). I'm making a list and 2005 will be great.

Hi Dawn.

Well, now there's three of us. Anyone else is welcome, and lets start getting back on track for the New Year.
I started yesterday, partly cause I have the Flu, and don't feel like eating much anyhow, and partly cause I packed on way too much weight in the last two weeks!! I'm back down a coupla pounds today, and am drinking gallons of water!! Of course, I am in on a 12 hour shift, and the stupid pants I'm wearing have 4 buttons on them!!
Looking forward to hearing how you guys are managing.

Hi ladies!

May I join your support cirlce? I started induction (again) today and need LOTS of support to keep me on track! I know if we all helped each other on here daily with support, encouragement and meal ideas that WE CAN DO THIS!!!!!

I tend to get stuck in a rut with my menus So, lets exchange ideas, drink LOTS of water and exercise!!!

Today I did my exercise ball (fell off the darn thing! LOL) some pilates and I also belong to Curves ( I love it there!)

I am determined to do this for ME and ME only!!!!

You are way too motivated for me Rita!! Exercising twice in one day?!? Yikes!!
Well, I like ya anyway! Just don't expect me to exercise!!!
On a happy note I'm down most of the weight I put on over Christmas, if not all of it. Ahhhhhhhh, my pants feel much better again!!

Hi all!

Where is everyone????

So far so good...still doing pretty good. I'm finding it hard to count my carbs this time though so I am pretty much watching my calories and staying away from bread and sugar. As long as I keep exercising I should see the scale numbers go down.

Used my exercise ball today (didnt fall off this time! woohoo!) Going to Curves in an hour with my daughter!

Hello everyone!!

Hey Rita...were you lonely??
Can't have that!!
Anyhow, I am still keeping under 20 g of carbs per day, but my darn scale seems to be stuck!! I'll kick it a few times and see if that helps!!

Hope everyone is back on track, the hardest part is getting your head back into it. Funny thing is that once you are seriously back on, it is such a relief to be back in control.

Thanks Christie for joining me! It does get lonely in here when no one checks in!

Congrats at keeping your carbs at 20 grams! Hang in there..u will see the scale go down! Maybe your just losing inches right now!

As for me..Im doing pretty good. Still watching my calories and portion sizes. Its too hard for me to count carbs...but I try to keep them low. Im still doing my exercising too. So I should see some progress. Just maybe slower!

Hi Rita.

Nice to see ya postin" again!!

I'm still keepin' the carbs down and losing weight, but those gosh darn ketone strips will not turn!!

It's driving me nuts!! And exercise, does turning my head to look at the treadmill count for anything?? I get up at 6 am, at work by 8:30, and get home at 5:30. I make supper, eat, help Makayla with homework, and once I get her to bed around 8, I get in my pj's and am not too interested in getting sweaty!! We do often go for a walk after supper, about 20 minutes or so, so I am not completely pathetic!!

Glad to hear you are doin' well...keep up the good work!! And keep posting!!

Ash- way to go on your exercising! keep up the good work!

Christie- I hear ya about being busy and not wanting to exercise! But, I really try and fit something in once a day. Have u ever tried Pilates? You dont sweat and its very relaxing but great for the abs! I like it because it is low impact. Find the tape called "Pilates for Dummies" I have it and its great! I love to walk too..so YES walking counts!

Well, I was a bad girl yesterday...got into the cookies and couldnt stop!!!!! I get sooo mad at myself! That is my downfall...the evil SUGAR! I have a taste of it..and want MORE and MORE!!!! Grrrr! I need to keep telling myself that I am bigger than sugar and should be able to just say NO!!!!

Question

Has anyone used the Farenheit supplement Or know anything about it. I am looking into trying it and need some feedback. I am looking for some energy since everything on the market is full of caffine. As bad as this sounds I miss Metabolife and Xenical with the ephedra.

I was so bad this morning I could not get out of bed to work out so I will be shakin' it this evening when I get home. should have gotten up. Anyway I will weigh in on Sunday and see what Ive accomplished. I get too discouraged if I do it every day.

Good morning girls!!

Glad to hear that everyone is healthy and well.
Sounds like we all have our crosses to bear doesn't it?? Mine is exercise, others is eating... well...we'll carry the load together.

I have heard so much about pilates, but no, I have never tried them. You are right though, I hafta do something, and this does sound right up my ally. Do you need a lot of space like aerobic work outs, or is it contained to a small area??
Where are you moving to Kerry?? Be nice if you were coming closer!!
I have never heard of that supplement, Ash, lemme know more about it, OK?? And stay away from those dangerous ones...like ephedra!!!! Those things can kill you!!!
And Rita, have you tried Mini Carb's snickerdoodl
