WOE: My own low carb plan
Women, 37, 5'4" 153 Goal is 135 Need Buddy!

Hi,
I am a past low carber who has decided to come back! I am 37 and have 2 children. I work part time and love to eat! I do work out at the gym fairly regularly so have that going for me. Would love a buddy who is similar to me or has under 30 pounds to lose. I have dieted off and on since high school and tried them all! Three years ago I lost 20 pounds with WW's but have gained them back
I really need to get motivated and stay on track. Not getting any younger and really want to lose the extra weight and then stay on track.

I would love to hear from anyone who wants to compare daily menu's, workouts or just chat!
Thanks!!
Melissa

Hi Melissa,
We are REALLY close in height, same in age ( I will be 38 this month). I am married 5 years, no kids (lifestyle choice of my husband and I). I would be happy to be a buddy if you would like.

I even became a Lifetime member on WW on June 11 of 2003, but HAD gained back 10 pounds. As you see, I am now losing the weight . I hope to talk to you again soon.

Hi there!
Thanks for replying! You say you are my height but if you weigh 126 you are already at a good weight aren't you? What is your goal? Are you doing Atkins?
I am not really doing a "strict" induction but trying to stick to mainly low carb for now. I've had luck with it in the past but always revert back to old ways. What did you think of WW's? Just curious!
Talk to you soon!

Hi Melissa,

I am one inch taller than you (see info near avatar). I reached 120 last year and looked really great. 120 is healthy for me, I feel and look my best at that weight. I liked going to the WW meetings, but I have not been able to go for the last 4 months because I have been over goal since Feb. I have been so frustrated trying to lose this weight, it seems I just kept eating more
Things are going great now now that I am doing strict Induction. I have lost 3.5 lbs in 5 days. My semi-fat clothes (size 8 pants) are beginning to get loose again for the first time since March. Best of all, I fit back into my size 6 jeans again today for the first time in 7 months.

Hi ladies!

My name is Melissa too. I'm 28, married with a 14 month old. I weigh 156 and my short term goal is 145, long term goal would be 135. I'm 5'5 but carry weight pretty well. I don't want to get too thin and then spend the rest of my life trying to remain skinny. I want a reasonable weight and 135 is pretty reasonable for me.

I try to take baby steps because just thinking about losing 22lbs makes me freak out! I set goals for 10lbs at a time. I want to try out a msn group (really easy to set up) and log my daily food intake, weekly weigh in and before and after pics.

I'm the type of person who needs to be motivated by seeing others improve and achieve their goals.

Email if any of you are interested in the msn group or email pen pals! philly_yates@hotmail.com

Hey!

Looks like I'm the short one in the group! I'm 5'3" and 139.(As of today.) I have two children and also work part time. Years ago I was 165 went down to 125 but that didn't last long. I went up to 135 and stayed that way. As the years went by I saw my weight creep back up. It was awuful when I had the kids! My fat cells went nuts! I went up to 196 then 194. (while I was carrying) I have been fighting my weight since. I did WW for a long time but felt hungry all the time. I've been on Atkins a little over and year and like it! I seem to carry my weight well because people are shocked when they hear I'm 140. I want to see that 125 again!
