Hey Everyone!

Back from Pensacola..hated to leave...it was so nice to get away. next time we are staying at Pensacola Beach....we stayed further in...but Pensacola beach is closer to downtown and well the beach...their downtown is gorgeous...reminded us of New Orleans...guess it's that french influence

It seemed like all I did this weekend was eat. oh well at least we did a lot of running around so maybe I was using more calories than normal.

today i had orientation for new employees and had to wait outside for like 15 minutes for the office to open up. orientation is at the HR office. I think I got overheated because i felt bad during orientation...still don't feel great but got some gatorade and that helps.

oh well back to work...hope everyone is having a good monday.

Hi,
I did ok over the weekend, did use the excuse of my birthday( which was friday) to cheat a little, broke down and had a baked potatoe with my steak, but other than that it was good.
I am so ready for my baby girl to come home, going to be hard to tough it out another two weeks especially since everytime I talk to her she wants to come home, really breaks my heart.

Lynn, glad your trip went well.

Arlene: I am going to have to get Andrew from Moms tomorrow. He only goes to school 1/2 day so she is picking him up for us & taking him to the movies (shrek2) I will have to get him after work. We can still exercise but will need to do it later - if possible. what about 815 ???? after American Idol . Is that ok with you?

Two weeks and counting until boo comes home from her daddy's, I am absoulutly going nuts . I don't know why I am having such a hard time with this , but of course her telling me she wants to come home and doesn't want to stay there doesn't help matters either, but I know in my heart that she is alright and she needs to spend time with him, doesn't make it any better ya know.

Denise: Sorry I am having to go for Diana I like Fantasia do not get me wrong she sings wonderfully but sounds too much like Macy Gray ALL the time - Diana has grown vocally since the begining ... Both of them will get recording contracts I'm sure.

Has anyone heard 8th world wonder by Kimberly Locke? I like that song. Josh Gracin's song is good also I saw the video for it this morning.

I have to agree with you, Fantasia does sound like Macy Gray to me too but I just feel like shes going to win.
I like Josh's song too, my dh just asked me the other day if I thought he was going to be a "one hit wonder", I don't think so.
As for Kimberly, I heard her song the nite she sang it on AI, but haven't heard it since.

Lyla, yeah. I think Hatti is about an hour from McComb. I haven't been down that way in YEARS. My ex-in-laws used to have a timeshare condo in Gautier.

I actually first started Atkins in June/02. I did it for 7 months & lost 40 lbs. Then I got PG (Atkins baby!) I went TOTALLY off plan. I was SO unmotivated. LOL But during my pgcy I gained it all back & then some!

So, my son was born in Sept/ 03. & I just started back on Atkins on 3/16/04. Couple months ago. I want to lose another 50 lbs or so.

Here's my stats:
Pre-preg 195
Pregnancy high 260
Started Atkins 218
Current 194
Goal... umm... 140-ish I guess. I will probably just keep on going until I feel like stopping.

Since we're discussing AI, I love both of the two in the final. I think Fantasia has so much energy...I agree with Adrienne, she sounds like Macy Gray and for a while I thought all of her songs all sounded the same, but she has shown some diversity. I agree Diana has vastly improved...her sound is just so much better.

I'm sure we'll both be seeing a lot of them like Clay and Rueben...Clay probably made out better...his album sold better didn't it? I think he may have more longevity in the business...I think Rueben has a soulful sound which has a place in music but maybe not mainstream.

I love Josh from last season...he reminded me of Garth...I hope he does well. I really liked Kimberly too.

The first time I was on atkins was back in 1999...I lost 25 lbs. and DH lost 40...we went off plan...got burned out and gained it all back and then some. I started back in October and lost about 10 or so pounds but then the holidays came and this event and that...so it's been hard to get back on and stay on. Sounds like you are doing good!

oh well back to work...only an hour and a half.

Hi Belles...sorry I've been MIA, but I began a middle ear infection Sunday which blossomed into a full infection in both ears. I get vertigo with middle ear infections and this one has been the worst. I was afraid to even drive yesterday coz every time I moved my head the world went topsy turvy. I went to the Dr today (thanks for calling me Adrienne, I've felt to crap to even get on the pc) so I hope to be on the mend asap.

I'm watching AI right now and curious to see how it turns out. Diana did much better than I thought she would with that gospel type song that Tamyra wrote, I didn't care for the song Fantasia chose, but she did well. I like both girls left, kudos to both of them, as I think both will get plenty of exposure after this is all through.

Maybe I'll finally lose some weight! I haven't had much of an appetite since being sick.

Caz....welcome to our BB....more Belles the better! I've lost 32 lbs but have been struggling for over a month now to get any further. Congrats on your new baby...what did you name him?

Sihaya...thanks for the great Belles icon...how do I add it to my avatar? You did a really fantastic job with the colors..it's really pretty and feminine...LOL...if we ever get any men on this BB we'll have to do some adjusting

I just found this board! I used to only visit the main board.

I have tried Atkins sooooo many times and I can't seem to stick with it. I am such a carb addict!!!

I did start going to the gym the first of the year but have gotten off track the past month.

I am going to try this again!! My DH and I are adopting, and are hoping to be able to travel around the holidays to meet our first child!! I want to be feeling good, looking good and fit.

I just wanted to pop in and introduce myself. I am gearing up to start on June 1, and would like to lose 50 pounds by the end of the year.

I better make the changes to my signature....I am sure I have gained since the last time I updated!!

Hey girls .... How is everyone today? This morning started off pretty crappy here at work but now it is better. I fell asleep last night right after AI that means 900 PM wow! I got plenty of sleep. Which I needed. I weighed & I am back to my sig weight after my eat fest for a few weeks. I am going to TRY & not weigh again til Thurs. when I go to the doctor. I have became a "scale queen" I have been addicted to it lately. I need to tell phillip to hide it. lol & then on my weigh in day he can get it out for me.

Caz: Breenan is such a cute name. I cant wait to see a pic of the chubster. hehehe.

congrats on the adoption!! our best friends have adopted a little girl from India...in fact she arrived in the states Monday night! We are so thrilled for them..we can't wait me to meet our newest niece

I've been trying to get back on track with Atkins...we are going to New Albany this weekend so I hate to go back on it right now because I know the weekend I'll eat more carbs. So thinking about waiting til monday..but still watching what I eat. I still need to work on exercise...will try tonight to do something..Colonial house is finished so I have my evenings free you know watching PBS you have no commercial breaks to get things done..hehehe

we didn't eat any seafood. I'm not much of a seafood eating...I prefer pond food...catfish but I'm ready to go back! wish we were going this weekend..we definitely have to do that more often.

I am at Houston Levee & Hwy 64 in the Lakeland area. Technically Memphis now since we got annexed....

It is great to see there are a few of us around. I am getting my mind frame back on track and am gearing up for my kickoff date 6/1/04!



We are adopting from Russia and hope to get a boy (0-8 months). We have one more appointment with our Social worker, then we will be close to being in the waiting period....
