Hi all.

I have been here a couple of times and got up the nerve to post.
I am 59 and married to the same man for 40 years. We both started Atkins on Jan 27th and I have lost 26 lbs so far but hubby has me beat with his 43 lb loss.It would be great to have someone else to talk to besides hubby, lol. You all seem to be such great ppl. Need a buddy sometimes. I dont have to bad a time with my eating, exept for breakfast. Water intake was a problem @ first in winter but now its hot and not so bad. I keep a pitcher of 1/2 gal water in fridge and fill glass as often as i can. Before I know it I finished it and have more.
My weighin is on Tuesdays and I stayed the same this week,(bummer). Hope to have better luck next week.

Hi pickles and welcome. I hope to have the same luck as you with my marrige. Right now we are coming up on our 1st aniversary. Any time you need to talk you can allways find someone to listen here. I myself have atleast 60lbs left to reach goal but things are going grood so far. so good luck and you can pm if ever needed someone to talk to.

Thank you Becky for the welcome. I do enjoy reading all the posts and would like to have a buddy to keep me going. We went to Vegas today to shop @ Costco. I have been buying almost all my Meat there for years. I repack it in servingsize packs and use my Foodsaver vacumsealer and then pack my freezer. Been checking if we spend more on food now then before Atkins, but is about the same amount. We just dont buy junkfood anymore, lol.
Hope to loose some lbs this week but dont know after eating at the buffet today, although i was good exept for the piece of cheesecake and it was good but to sweet, lol.
Tired now from shopping so see you all later.
