Another new kid on the long block
Hi there, Michelle here. I am new to the site and what a site it is. It is going to take me forever to learn how to get around on here. I hope I learn quick, just reading the bulletin boards I am so excited to get going with this new change of life. I have to say that I have lost weight before over 110 pounds and gained it back, only because I lost it the wrong way, and I also didn't excercise.
So happy to be here......hope to hear from you all soon

Hi Michelle
So how was your first day? I've been on Atkins since 1/5 but am re-inducting this week. I've done pretty well - lost about 27 lbs. I'm actually only5 lbs from goal, but may go lower once I get there. We'll see. This is DH and I's third time on Atkins in the last 2 years or so, but this time we are more motivated and have stayed with it longer than we had before. We're looking at it as a WOE rather than a 'diet'. We still have tons of Easter candy around, so this morning I put it in the pantry - out of sight out of mind! Are you taking a good multivitiman? I take one, along with C, E and Calcuim. Best of luck. Cindi |

Good Luck to you on the program. I'm a Newbie too. This does seem like a great place for information and support. Just what we all need. We are all in this together. And together we will be triumphant!

HI! I am 26 years old and just started yesterday! I am going to try eating high protein/low carb and see how it works out. I'm feeling good today and am not extra hungry, but then again it's only my second day. I am getting married in October! I came across this website while searching for high protein/low carb foods and found it encouraging! I would love to be able to talk to someone about this and give encourgement too!
