WOE: Atkins
Start Date: February 10, 2003
Hi! My name is Jen D (nennygirl6)I have been trying to post a reply to this thread it seems like forever (ok, for a week.) We'll see if this works. I have been on Atkins since February and am loving it. My husband is on it too and we have both seen some pretty encouraging results.

I am a new mom, my son Nate is almost seven months old, a sixth grade teacher and am twenty something. I love to read - if I ever have time - walk those pounds away, cook and bake. I have been getting into decorating (we bought a house two novembers ago) and am considering starting a small business for artificial bridal florals.

I hope this attempt to post works - you are all so supportive and nice, it seems like this is a wonderful thread.

WOE: Atkins

Hi Mel & Jenny
DH and I started Atkins for about the 3rd time in 2 years on 1/5. We are both really motivated this time and very happy with our progress so far. When I'm eating 'clean', drinking my water (at least 80 oz per day), and exercising, I feel so much better and have so much more energy. I've never been this happy with a WOE and found it as easy as this has been. Unlike a lot of 'diets', I never go hungry on Atkins. If I'm hungry, I eat. The big thing that has worked for us is to plan our meals a week at a time, and to prep all of our food for the week on Sunday. I slice veggies, defrost meat, and make lunches as much as I can on Sunday so when we get home from work during the week we don't have to think about what to make for dinner. And with a lot of it prepped, it doesn't take that much energy either.

Best of luck..........
Cindi
