Does anyone want to get together to have a "buddy" or someone just to email each other to keep on track?

I thought it might be nice to have someone close to give that ocassional kick in the @#$ when it is needed!

What do you say???

Hi, Jannis! I don't frequent this particular area of the board (kind of in an exploration mood tonight), but I'm glad I popped in!

I'm definitely the "get together" type (gotta be, since I tried to organize the gathering in March). Personally, I'm hoping to do it again, and maybe get more people (only 3 of us made it to Outback last month).

Anyway- thought I'd wave "hi!". I'm in Clifton, from which it is pretty easy to get anywhere. Of course, I have the schedule from he!!, which can make getting together tough, but I try to be flexible.

That would be terrific! Just let me know your schedule and I will try to work around it if you want to do something motivational!

I tried to get to the gathering, but got a call a few hours before and they had to take my FIL to hospice and then he died a couple days later. It was the 3rd death in 4 weeks, so it was not the best time.

I am so there next time!! We are still working on our house or I would host the next one. It could always be at a park once the weather settles! Woodland Mound park off Nor**** in Cherry Grove has an awesome frisbee golf course which can be a lot of fun and exercise at the same time (for example).

Just let me know what you are interested in and if you want to get together!

Ah...I miss Woodland Mound.

Ages past, my ex and I lived off Old St. Route 74, and Woodland Mound was a favorite place to take the kids. Little as they were back then they loved doing the parcourse! I am VERY up for the park thing, even if we just walk round and round.

I go up to Glendale Gardens and meet my sister to walk a couple of times a month - it's going to be beautiful once things start blooming!
