What part of Kansas? We are having a gathering in Kansas City on Friday. Hey KC folks come here!!!! If you are in the area, we would love to add more to the group.

Cool--I won't be able to make it this weekend---but thanks for the invite. I hope to hang around these boards permanently---so keep me in mind the next time everyone gets together...I'm in Wichita, KS--so it's only about 2 1/2 hours away. We go up there about every other month. Thanks!!

Clearwater is really close to where I live...I actually live in Haysville, KS. I just say Wichita, because more people know where that is.

Um, yeah, I know what you mean. I have only lived in Clearwater since October when I got married. DH grew up here and I am going crazy in this small town! I grew up in Rose Hill, but Clearwater is SO much smaller! The people in the grocery store and post office know who I am just because of DH, it's almost creepy!!

I know this is a few days late, but I just spotted this thread! It makes me homesick because I was born in Dexter, Kansas. (smaller than Rose Hill!) DH is from Burden, Kansas. I graduated from Winfield.

I've been in Texas for 17 years, now, but I'm still a Kansas farm girl on the inside!!!!!
