Has everyone heard the Amber Alert for the Warsaw Missouri area?

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Missouri Highway Patrol has issued an Amber Alert for a baby taken from a central Missouri home Wednesday morning.

Authorities said that two people apparently took 1-month-old Jesse Peaster from his parents' Lincoln home just after 10 a.m.

Investigators said that the baby's mother was in a downstairs room at the time of the kidnapping and the father was at work. The couple's 4-year-old son was in an upstairs room and saw a man and woman take the baby.

Muddy footprints were found in the home.

Police are looking for a white man with a white beard and white hair, and a white female with dark-brown hair and wearing some sort of name tag.

The baby was wearing a JC Penney brand light blue one-piece sleeper with prints of rocking horses, rattles, balls, crowns and bears on it.

The FBI tells KMBC-TV that it is now involved in the investigation. Roadblocks have been set up in Benton County.

they found the baby the same afternoon - a woman and man had walked into their home while they were out of the room and just taken the baby. they had planned this beforehand - picked the family out from the hospital. the woman's husband was cleared (it was a different man with her) and he was so apologetic to the baby's family. the first thing the baby's family did when the baby was taken was to pray - even before they called the police. because of the amber alert, a waitress at a restaurant (across the street from my husband's office!) reported this woman to the police. the woman had called the restaurant and said that she had the baby that morning and needed a ride - could someone pick her up and bring her to the restaurant. so, someone went to pick her up and she was sitting outside of the hospital with the baby. of course the waitress thought this was weird and having heard the amber alert called the police. what a strange story, right. well, the husband of the kidnapper ended up visiting the baby's family at their home and they hugged him and told them that they do not have any anger toward his wife. the man could not believe how forgiving they could be.

anyways, all ended well.
