I want to lose at least 75. I'm about 235 right now, so if I lost 100 lbs I'd be sitting pretty (I'm a short 5'3" so 100 lbs is realistic) I need all the help I can get. My hotmail/msn screename is mom2ericha (msn) and detroitmama (hotmail) whichever account I happen to be on at the time! If you want to add me to your lists I'll be happy to chat! I am back on this thing for good now! I've gone off the wagon the last few months but back on and I know its a good thing. I feel so much better after I get the insulin in my body balanced out (I have insulin resistance).

Yes, I did find something new at the supermarket last time I went! I am pleased to find a big upsurge of no or low carb stuff at the market. The atkins stuff is so exensive. i went to 7-11 looking for something to help my craving for carbs last night and was apalled at the price for a tiny bag of low or no carb atkins chips. They were 2 bucks! I ended up with the pork rinds. Had to have something chewy to get me past that craving. WEll, when I went to Farmer Jack I found some new yogurt. Its flavored and still low carb. The containers are small, but I got strawberries and cream, and they have 3 g of carbs in each container. Its not cheap, but then again its not real expensive like some of it either. I think it was under $4.00 for six containers. Each container is about a half cup. Dannon makes it and its called Light n fit carb control. Its really pretty tasty. I also got some carb control italian dressing the other day, and there are 0 carbs in it. Its really good. It was more expensive than the other dressings, but then again cheaper than the atkins products are.

I am not new to Atkins. I have started the diet many times. I succeeded in losing 30# once, but stalled for months and gave it up. I have motivated many people to try the diet, but I can't seem to lose myself. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

By the way, I'm also a nurse.

Hi, I will be glad to join you. I'm 5"7" and currently weigh in at 286. Lost 4 lbs. this past week. Just started on a moderate low-carb plan. No white products or sugar. Sugar is my downfall. I can eat a whole can of Eagle Brand Condensed Milk at one sitting.

I sure am having trouble getting in all of the water that I am supposed to drink for my weight. 17 - 8 ounce glasses a day. Have not made it yet but am improving.

I haven't begun Atkins yet...unfortunately I will have to wait until next week (money issues prevent me from stocking up the kitchen with legal foods and I'm one of those people... all or nothing). I figure if I commit myself, then I will have no other choice then to begin as I planned

HI, I could really use some support. I started Atkins 1/2004 thought I was doing pretty good but that scale is just not moving. Just started induction all over again so hopefully this time it will be a better start. Keeping my fingers crossed. I would really like to talk to you all since we are pretty much in the same boat
