Hi I'm new to the boards and would love to have some Pen Pals. I'm Amy a 30 yr. old SAHM to Maddie 3 and Austin 1. I've been LC since the first of January with my hubby Joe. I've lost 15 pounds and he's lost 26. We live in the Triad area in North Carolina.

Hi Jenny ! I'd love for you to be my Pen Pal. I will add you to my PM list. Your 13 pound weight loss is gr8 ! I lost pretty quick but started to slow once the monthly demon came for a visit...lol. I've been having a tough time drinking all this water but I'm trying. Are you exercising any? The only form of exercise I am getting right now is chasing after my 2 kids...lol. I want to start walking after it warms up a bit and also I want to buy some exercise videos. My hubby is losing alot faster than me...grrr men I tell ya. We use to live in Whiteville and moved to Thomasville right before Thanksgiving. We went shopping at the mall in Fayetteville several times. Keep up the good work and remember we can overcome the fat monster together

Great I added you too. I am going to Curves however I have not started yet, cause the day I was suppose to start we had the ice storm then I just have not had the time to get away. But I will be going hopefully starting in about 2 weeks.

I also have two children Alexis is 5 and in the big K this year and Dj is 3 and is in preschool, I work full time at a Pharmacy and have been married for 6 years now.

Glad to have a pal on here and since we are both newbies this should be fun.

Yeah you guys had the ice and we had the snow. How much ice did you get? We got about 4 inches of snow and about 1/2 to 1 inch of ice on top, the schools were closed for a week. I would love to join a fitness center...how much does it cost to join Curves? There is one right down the street from where I live. My neighbor is on Atkins and has a membership to the YMCA and is trying to get me to join but I wanted to check out all my other options 1st. Your kids r close together like mine are. I am gonna run to Costco's and get some shrimp for dinner tonight. We are big NASCAR fans and the Bud Shoot Out comes on tonight. Talk to ya later

Well as far as the ice goes we where not able to leave the house for 2 days then it was Leave At Your Own Risk. LOL We got about 3-4 inches. The schools were closed here until Friday it was awful. This is what I looked like after 4 days with both of them at home.

Curves is a little expensive if you are comparing to the Y but I paid 75 membership fee 1 time fee.(Normally 149.00) And it is 29.00 a month. What I like like about it is ALL WOMEN and it is only 30 mins 3 days a week. I love one I go to.
