Newbie from Iowa

Hi my name is Dawn. I am from Iowa. I started on the Atkins diet for my second and last time Jan 23 of this year. I am looking for a pen pal. Someone who will get on because I have a hard time sticking to things. An this time I truly want to be successful with this diet. I have 4 kids and a step-daughter all but one have moved out of the house. So I don't really get much support from them. My husband tries hard to be supportive, but that is very hard for him, because he is a man. I do have to say he has been wonderful cooking low carb recipes for me, and he even eats alot of my low carb recipes. I workout everyday for 40 minutes. I can wait for summer to get here so I can walk outside. Right now my only exercise partner is my pet bird. He reminds me every morning to get up and exercise. He is now even saying the word exercise to let me that is what he wants to do. I would really like to find someone to walk with around my home town.
I would like to say to eveyone. I can wait to get to know you, all.

Hi Dawn,
This is my second time on the Atkins diet. I was on it two years ago and I lost 30 lbs. It is hard, but I know this time I want to succeed. If you don't already have a pen pal. I would sure like to be yours. Just call me Irish.....

Dawn you seem to be on the right track. Working out everyday. You are already doing better than I am, LOL. If you want people to stay on your back everyday though you might want to drop by the thread called Queen Newbies. I know it might look crazy because we are a close group but we welcome all new comers. By the way I live in South Dakota and I'm always in Iowa because of my job. I travel from the Sioux City area all the way over to Storm Lake. If you need a pen pal I would love to help you out. I'll motivate you to eat right if you motivate me to exercise.
