I was on Atkins a little over a year ago. I lost 30 pounds. It was so easy I got ****y and started back doing old habbits and gained some back. Now I am on the right track again. If I had someone to compare notes with it might help me and return help you too. Let me know if your interested.
Thanks, Dan ![]() |

Hi Drahgon & Dan
Hope you have a good few days, this plan seems to really work for you both. I know this is the best diet that I have ever tried, I love not feeling hungry, and having to be reminded that I need to eat by my other half, who yells when he is hungry, the gallons of water is a bit of struggle, but i have found that a cup of hot water isnt too bad when it has cooled enough to drink - i forgot the decaf, and yes it was a black cup, so i didnt notice it straight away =( my friend calls me dizzybird because of things like this )I have had a rubbish weight loss this week, still on induction, day 14 tomorrow (Sunday) but lost nothing, and not even inches, and I have been sooooooo good, until last night that is, when my fed upidness got the better of me and consoled myself with a couple of whiskeys they did nothing for me, but made me feel worse about myself for caving in, so will try to get back on track again and start over! look forward to hearing your successes and pitfalls, maybe we can inspire each other ![]()

Hi Drahgon,
I am so sorry to hear about your job, you must feel devastated, have you been there a long time? Will they see that you all get a good redundancy package so that you are not left high and dry? i dont mean to sound nosey, but there is nothing worse than worrying about money and where the next penny is going to come from Do not apologise for your humour, laughing is good, my friend HunnyBunny and I are the only people who share ours, we seem to be on our own little planet most of the time, and laugh at the strangest things, I am thinking about writing a book about the stuff we talk about and laugh at I am so excited because she and her family are on there way to me at the moment, (she lives in Oxford around 89 miles away ) |

Hi again,
Have you guys ever used FitDay.com, its very good at recording weight, goals, food etc, but being a bit on the dense side, i find some of the reports a bit confusing Just wondered if you had any ideas? Sleepy |

Hi
Hope you have had a good weekend Glad to hear you have some options, and making an investment like that is always worth a go. I wish you every luck in you venture Did i tell you that I had not shed a lb in 7 days? well I still havent, but I have managed to get into some jeans, that I have not worn for over a year, so I must have lost inches (about 4-5) in past week Hunny and I have brought some PS1 dancemats, and have decided that is the way to go for our excersing regime at home, i would recommend them to anyone We also did a trip to Asda/Walmart today, and picked up 8lbs of packet lard for me, and 10lb for her, just to see what it weighed and looked like in mass we got some very funny looks, but even funnier when we put it back![]() |

The only Stone I know is in Buckinghamshire, near Aylesbury, where I was born. Did you like it?
I have been to Enid, Oaklahoma, stayed there with my dad in around 1978ish, he worked all over the US for about 7 years with a company called Redifon, Flight Simulations. He was an engineer with them and worked at the bases installing simulators. So, I have been lucky and had a few goes on the Tornado simulator, and a few others that I cant remember. I know that I would never have made a pilot ![]() |
