Support for Mom & Son RI area

Hello, I am a 31 year old mom of 2 me and my son who is 9 have started Pilates and losing weight.
I use the 3 day diet as it is what works best for me, and my son has a revamped plan.
We do pilates every day. In the spring and summer we ride bikes, walk, and run 1 time a week.
I am looking for others that may or may not have there children involved.
We live on the east coast, and there are not many ways to meet others like us.
Well unless you pay for a membership to lose weight, and still they would not allow my son who is 23lbs overweight, I know some may say that is not alot but it really is.

Hello AGain

I think I should maybe explain more about us. While we do the 3 day diet we continue on the Atkins diet for the remainder 4 days.

I am hoping that when my son see's other people encouraging him, he will not feel so ashamed of losing weight.

We do not call it a diet!!!
That is a nasty word, we call it a change of eating habits.

He is only 4' 5" and weight 110 Lbs as of this morning, all the weight he lost he put back on due to the pressure in school.

If any one want to IM us please do so.

Hey Barb...I sent you an email.

My son and I are doing atkins...husband as well. We are all plugging away at it. Packing school lunches is the most challenging. I have to refrig it for him in the faculty room! I happen to teach 3rd grade in the same school!
