Need Help!!!
Hi, I am looking for an online penpal to get through this locarb plan! I started Atkins two weeks ago and I am getting really frustrated because I have not lost a pound to date. I have been eating 17-19 carbs per day, decaf coffee, and have been doing aerobics 2-3 times a week. I was very successful on this diet over the summer, but unfortunately fell off the wagon for a while. I am getting ready for a cruise in july and at least 50 pounds has to come off! Any help, pals, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Julia

Julia, post your menu of what you are eating. Do you use fitday to count your carbs?? Maybe your eating hidden carbs and don't know it. Just stay focused and the weight will drop. There are alot of people on the board that know alot more about this WOE then I do, and they should be able to give you some advice. Just hang in there. Drink half your body weight or more in water daily also. Hope this helps you.

Hi, saw your post and wanted to invite you over to PEN PALS NEEDED FOR MY 1-2-3 PLAN.
We have a bunch of ladies who are at all different phases of weight loss and everyone is so helpful. So if it is motivation/support and questions that need answers, that is where you would want to be. We always support each other and help with menu planning and party planning. I actually have used fitday and counted everything that has touched my tongue. The only thing that I can think of is that I am not supplimenting well enough or that I am not drinking enough water?!?

You need to drink half your body weight in water. So that maybe the solution. As far as supplements, I just take a vitaman to get the minerals I'm missing, and I take Biotin for my hair thinning. Try upping the water, and if that doesn't work then try upping your carbs a little. Hope this helps.
