having hard time..need support
My name is Ashley, and I'm 19 yrs old. I'm just starting Atkins, and I'm finding it hard to find support in my house, because everyone is at a healthy weight and doesn't care. They think I will fail at this too, but I'm ready to prove them wrong.(290/290/180) I've lived 19 years too long this way. I'm looking for any support anyone would give me.
Thank you and good luck to everyone. Ashley |

Well, isn't this funny??
Hey! Your message caught my attention-my name is Ashley too! I'm 22 years old, and I live in Wisconsin....I'm also just starting Atkins. Actually, I started a couple weeks ago, but I cheated with a slice of peanut butter cheesecake, so I've had to start over...
Your situation sounds frighteningly familiar to mine...I have an older sister and a mother who have been weight concious their whole lives, and I'm a girl who loves to eat. Nobody thinks I'll be able to stick with this, either, and they don't even know about that cheesecake incident! Please feel free to reply...I'm definitely looking for someone to give me some support and feedback too...so far I've found a bunch of little tricks to curb certain cravings...hopefully we'll chat and share what we've found out so far! I look forward to hearing from you! Ashley |

Hello Ladies,I have a daughter named Ashley... You've come to the right spot for help and support. I am also fairly new to this sight and I love it. I'm on my 9th day of induction and doing fairly well.. the cravings have stopped and my energy level is up... We all can do this .... Keep the attitude of "One day at a time"... "One pound at a time" .... and "One inch at a time" and you will succeed. Try the receipe board for some great receipes..!! ![]() |
