Would love a pen pal to share with

Need Assist...... I am now heading back down the induction road and would really love to have some support in the way of a pel pal. This is my last and final attempt to get my act together and get rid of this excess baggage...I am so sick of looking this way and feeling it too. Anyone wanna come along?

COME ALONG!

Dear Summerdaisy...would love to share the ride...I have already started this past Sunday and as of today have dropped 5 pounds! I decided that I couldn't wait until after the New Year to begin. I am sorry if I delayed getting back to you, I can't get on the computer at times as often as I would like. But, I am ready when you are. Keep me posted and have a happy new year!

I would like to join you also! I have been so lax on LC eating it's crazy! I really want to get back to eating properly and get this darn weight off! Thinking about it, summer really isn't that far off. Only about 4 months and we can think about bringing the shorts back out. I want to wear for the first time since I was 19.

I'd Love To Tag Along!!!!

Suseq, I would love to join you on your journey. I began Atkins on Aug. 8, 2003. Since then I have lost close to 20lbs. However, during the last month or so I have pretty much maintained what I have lost. Trust me the holidays haven't help much either but I didnt' do as bad as I thought I would. I plan to begin the induction phase on 1/1/04 and continue until I reach my goal. Would love to share some support. Right now I am gathering recipes suitable for induction and writing a grocery list. I found shopping with a list is a big help.

Talk to you soon! Good Luck!

We're gonna do this!!!

So glad to hear from all of you, makes me feel like I am not in this alone. Yes, the summer months are right around the corner again, but I still am striving to get back into my size 14 jeans and be comfortable once again. My regular email address is MMKobie@aol.com if you would like to respond there, would make it easier I believe. I will write more later, am off to the gym and them to have a new hair styling to begin the new year off right.
Take care everyone and let's get those slimmer bodies to emerge from all this fluffiness.

Can I join too?

Hello Everyone,
This is the first time I've ever joined anything like this before. I started Atkins 1/1/2004.... and I could really use some support on my side. I'm determined to get into smaller shorts for the summer.

Good Luck to everyone!!! Low Carbs all the way!!!

Greetings!!!!

Hi Gang! Just check in with everyone. I restarted the induction this past sunday 1/4. So far so good. The problem that I am having is getting off my butt to exercise. I really need to do some cardio. Tonight I will get on my glider for about 30 mins. Does anyone have any ideas for breakfast instead of eggs and bacon or sausage every morning? Tomorrow is my birthday and I will
not be indulging in cake and ice cream unless it is sugar free...lol

How is everyone doing this week? Good luck!

Well today is day 2 for me and so far so good. I just need to add the excerise as well then I will be better. The flax seed muffins are very good for breakfast and filling you might want to give those a try. I am not an egg person in the morning so I have those or some flax seed hot cereal (perfect for the weather we are having) Now if I could just remember to keep drinking the water I have it sitting there put havent gotten into the habit of drinking it yet. LOL

How is everyone else doing???

Oh and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!

breakfast

I like the atkins breads for breakfast. we now have them in the regular grocery store. since I am back in induction I am not rewady for the bagels yet at 8 or 9 grams each but the bread is only 3 grams per slice. I have some hot cerial that is pretty good to but takes 3 minutes to make, find me a person with 3 extra minutes in the morning. I also found a milk with 3 grams per serving, in this part of the country (south texas) that is good. We like our breads here, but all this new food is making it easier. I also do leftovers for lunch but part of that is my new budget for the year and a trip I am planning in august. How often is everyone weighing? I am getting compulsive I think, every morning before coffee (1/2 decaf - 1/2 the real thing)

Good Morning Everyone!!

I weighed this morning and have lost 5 lbs. Wish it were more but we'll see what happens next Wednesday. The breakfast ideas are fabulous but I'm afraid that if I start on bread (my greatest weakness) I'll never stop eating it.... So for now I'll stick with the sausage and yucky eggs for breakfast.

My kids are on year around school and they just started back this past monday after being off since Thanksgiving, so needless to say this week has been a big adjustment for me. My mini goal is to start exercising every morning by monday If I can just get my hind end up an hour earlier.... So wish me luck!

Have a good day everyone!

Happy Birthday Ldyluvly!!!!!!

Hello Everyone!

My weekend was really nice! We went to my daughter's basketball tournament. She lost the 1st game and won the 2nd game. Before we left we stopped at the gas station and we saw one of my DH's coffee drinking buddies and he hasn't seen me in a long time. He had to look at me a couple times to make sure it was me! He looked me up and down with a "wow and amazed" look on his face and said "have you quit eating?" that was a great feeling! Just what I needed for that extra motivation I needed to keep going.

Great job summerdaisy on your 5lbs loss! Keep up the great work!

LV2BFUNY- hey 5lbs is better than nothing at all right? great job!

Newbie in Balt- Hi! Back on track and a fresh start that's wonderful.

If anyone wants to email that would be great. Mine is christinef217@hotmail.com I am home all day (I have a home daycare) with 3 2 yr olds so I'm on off here all day.

Talk to you all later! Have a great day!
