Anyone in VT??

I'm moving to Montpelier, VT early next year and desperate to find a LC friendly MD. Anyone out there have a nice doctor in VT? I'm willing to travel as far as Burlington but anywhere further south than Randolph would be a bit too much.

I remember seeing a woman from Vermont on the Playground. I think her moniker was "stephanie_vt". She used to sign into "The Other Plan" Challenge on the Playground. I think she lives up your way. Send her a PM.

Panacea: I live in Vermont. I don't have a specific LC doctor to recommend. Depending on your medical insurance provider, they will provide you with list of all the doctors that fall under your insurance plan. You would have to sort them out with a few phone calls to see who is LC friendly. I think you will like living here. It's very beautiful.

I was beginning to think I'd be the only low-carber on these boards in VT...I know it's a small state but sheesh!

My insurance plan allows me to see any doctor, so it looks like plenty of calls to make when I get there. Coming from London, I'm not sure I'll get used to your winters straight away, Stephanie

Panacea: You shouldn't have too much trouble finding a doctor that fits your requirements especially in the Burlington area.

As for the winters, my DH is orginally from California and had never experienced winter before and he's adjusted quite well.

I think that the beautiful autumn season, the moderate summers and mild spring make up for the cold winters.
