QUEEN NEWBIES DECEMBER CHALLENGE

We keep seeing everyone on here needing a pen pal and some suppport, well we're here to help.... The worst thing is for a newbie to post and not get a response so we're beating you all to the punch. If you want someone to stay on your back and make sure you're following the program, we can help you with that. We have a group of people who keep us in line and we do the same for them.. If you need some support or someone to talk to this is the place for you. We want to make sure that anyone who really wants to lose weight gets the help they need. December Challenge

Our December challenge is to work out at least 3x's a week. I'm also going to add something to the challenge. You need to try and check in with us at least 5x's a week. Let us know how your doing. Let us know if your having some problems, just let us know your still out there.

Jaon- I just had to take a moment and tell you your doing great. Yes you strayed for a moment but girl you have more than made up for it. Everytime I read your post I just smile.

Teresa- I am so jealous and so proud at the same time. Congrats on that great number. I'm trying to get there by the beginning of Feb. It will take some time but since I'm back on track it might not be so hard. Be ready to get my exercise list, my food list, and my water list. I'm going to put you on speed email.

Vicki-love talking to you. Cant say that enough. Didnt realize all the stuff we talk about. I told you I want to grow up and be just like you, lol. 110 pounds smaller and dating a great man.

Well I will be here all day to keep the post alive, lol. I'm restarting induction so it's going to be a rough weekend. I've gotten so use to eating other foods but I've noticed I'm losing a lot slower than I was and I need to speed this train back up. Wish me luck.

Found Queen Sonnya

Just wanted to let you all know that I found Queen Sonnya and she is doing well. She's busy with the holiday having tons of parties, but she is still low carbing.

She's weighing in right now at 218 which means she's lost 38 pounds thus far. She send a yippeee skipppeee to everyone.

I hope everbody is doing well. Nothing new to report. I'm still on plan and exercising 15 min daily and also 4L water. I can't manage the 5L like I did in the summer.

Greetings to all Queens,

I am at the same weight I have been for two weeks--and haven't cheated. I drink my water, I'm getting some exercise--I test positive with keto strips, too.

I know this must just be a stage and it will PASS--but I must admit I am getting a trifle impatient.

Just wanted to say good morning andlet everyone know I am still here and determined to use this WOE.

Nona- you may need to lower you carb intake. I dont know if you have left induction, but if you have I would try doing induction for a week again. Also I would up the water. Let us know how that works out for you and thank you for dropping in to see us.

I found another person, LOL. I talked to Queen Nikki last night. I dont know if you all remember her but she was Nikki4C. I think that was her screen name if not something close to that. She is still low carbing and has a great support group from her family. She has lost 50 pounds since Sept. and is doing great. I told her to drop by and give us some support since she obviously knows what she's doing. I also told her we wish her the best and we're all very happy for her.

For me I've realized that induction was hard the first time I did it and it's hard again, LOL. The cravings you get for food are rediculous. I went from not wanting to eat at all to having rediculous cravings for everything I could get my hands on. I've been emailing my menu to Teresa and I know she must think I'm eating all the time, LOL. By the way I just want to let everyone know that I got 9 cups of water in yesterday. Only one short of what I should be drinking. I'm going to make it today.

Oh on a happy note for some Saddam has been captured. Didnt he look a mess. If you havent seen the video go check it out on msnbc. You can tell he wasnt a woman because we would have still looked sexy had we been on the run, LOL.

Thanks Machon, I really have been sticking to this woe for real this time. The sacrifice has been well worth the struggle. On the weekends it's a bit harder cause I am home and eat more than usual but I managed to stay at 20 carbs for both Saturday and today Sunday. During the week I don't eat anymore than 15g at the most.

Anyway, wanted to post on here that I'm on another thread on here that does weigh-ins every other week and as of today I'm at 209!!!! That's an 8 lb loss since I restarted on 12/8 with 217lbs. I am feeling really good!!!

Hey girlies

I'm checking in...! I am AMAZED at NIKKI-50lbs. in 3 months!! wow! please do tell her to come in and give us some tips and encouragement!

and JOAN! OMG!! GIRL!! 8 LBS. IN A WEEK!! I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE IT!! wow! i'm sooo amazed! i'm proud of you!! woohoo!!

Well, i've been doing good except for yesterday i went to chinese and ordered chicken and vegetables.. but i think the sauce had something cuz from one day to the next i gained like 5 pounds!! but i won't let that bother me so...... (omg, 5 lbs!!) well, we'll see on Wednesday weigh in what the total loss for the week will be. my loss would have been 5 lbs. but now i'm up again, back to wednesdays weight today.. :mad

and TODAY, i went to OLD COUNTRY BUFFET... it was soooooo hard! i was sooooooo tempted! I reallly really wanted to get the hot cinnamon rolls, macaroni, pasta's, cheesecakes, cookies. I realllly wanted to just say "oh, just for tonight, tomorrow i'll start over" just like i usually would have said. But then i thought 2 things:

1. I've worked so hard to get my body back into fat burning mode, it takes like 3 days right? and in 2 seconds, all that will go to waste, just for a bite! 3 days worth of work and **poof** 2 seconds... all gone.

2. I knew that afterwards, when i'd be at home, i would feel SO GUILTY! I would have regretted it! I would be like "If I would have been good, I would right now be on ketosis still! but now i have to work 3 days to get back on, and i'd have to WAIT 3 DAYS to START LOSING WEIGHT!" and i didn't want to feel guilty...

So I kept STRONG!... I KEPT MY HEAD HIGH, tried not to look at the other food and tried to FOCUS!! i got lotsa salad... really yummy! chicken, roast beef, ham! I DID GOOD!

So right now, i'd have to say, I'm feeling pretty good about myself. I don't feel GUILTY! and i'm still ON TRACK!

yay for me! ok... gotta go, laterz, girlies!

I have swayed so off track lately. But this morning when I woke up, I have set my mind to getting back on......I will eat right and I will exercise if it the last thing I do.

My problem is: I lost enough weight that my clothes started fitting.

I need some heavy duty butt kickin.......Kick the inches off of me....LOL....

Cristi you should be proud of yourself for not falling to the temptations of food. I'm really proud of you for staying strong.

Cheryl, stay strong girl. I know you can do this. If you have gotten this far, you can go farther!! I'm glad to see you are getting back on track. It's the only way to go! It's the BEST way to go. I am feeling so healthy I'm glowing. I want you to feel the same way! You can do it!!!

sorry i couldnt check in this weekend i was off from work so i had no computer

Anyways i was stuck at work on friday w/ o food. My boss told me that he would send me a plate of food (X mas party on friday) and he forgot so i hadnt eaten anything for 24 hrs....i think Vicky thinks im insane...*L* i was freaking out!!! anywyas my hubby came and got me..with some flowers and peperoni and cheese..Hes such a cutie

anyways i exercised 3 times this week

I still havent weighed in but i think i will be 194 lbs again...I honestly feel bad...I cheated yesterday *bows head*
I went to applebee's and ordered chicken wings (hot) and they had some breading on them...and i couldnt send them back...so i ate them only 4 but i felt soooo Guilty IM SORRY!!!!!!!
anyways the good news is that im still in ketosis...

Hope to hear from you all soon

PS SHARON thanks i hope i look good...but i still think you cant tell that much that I have lost almost 80 lbs

Lizett, nice to see you are back. Don't beat yourself up for the cheating thing. You are still burning, still in Ketosis so it's all good...I think anways....LOL. I did something similar this weekend. I drank two glasses of red wine and totally forgot that red wine has 2 carbs per 4 oz. I thought it didn't have any but I found out it was white wine!!! So I went over my 20g daily intake by like 22g - 24g instead so I went from large amount of keto (purple) to medium pink which on my bottle says small trace of keto But the wine was great and since I been on this woe the wine made me tipsy. LOL...that never happens on two glasses of wine but I was happy with that little bit...LOL. Glad to hear you are still in ketosis too.

I can't believe you have lost 80lbs!!!!!!! WAY TO GO GIRL!!! I can't wait til I get there...I only have 59 more lbs to lose. I know I can do it!

Well I am glad you all are back. I was missing everyone since I was posting alone all weekend, LOL. I looked kinda crazy but my friends are back.

Joan- congrats on the 8 pounds. You are a real trooper. I'm so glad you got yourself back on track and your doing great.

Lizett- dont you stress about that chicken. Believe me it wont effect you as much as you think. Dont go feeling guilty about it. All the water you drink will flush it all out and you will be ok.

Cheryl- If I had seen you on yahoo I would have hunted you down and not let you fall off the wagon. But I'm glad you picked yourself back up and your back here. Dont you go running off again. If you cheat let us know and we will help you get back on track. As for you feeling sluggish, well you know your on the right track then. Your body is going into fat burning mode and you better let it stay there or I'll have to put my boots on.

Christi- have you worked out? You were suppose to set that timer. Look we have some men to interview and we have to look our best so you better get moving.

Oh and I'm not going to mention any names about the person who didnt work out 3x's last week but she's knows who she is. You better get moving.

I just want to let you all know I've started writing stuff down again and it's really helping. If I dont want to write it I dont eat it. I think it's helping.

Oh by the way Lizett Vicki probably thinks i'm crazy too, lol. She gets me through some tough times.

Thanks everyone. Also I have a new pic on here. The one I had here before was of me in May 17, 2003 at my heaviest 225lbs Actually the picture of me in the blue dress is 3 days before I broke my ankle (refer to picture gallery for other pics)

Well, I hope everyone likes it and it's me a whopping 16lbs lighter...of course the other 5 lbs I lost them on my own before changing my wol but it took me 2 months to do...LOL. I like this wol better !!

Thanks Machon, I don't think I could of done without all of you Queens making me feel like a true queen. Also, Machon, I love the pictures...You got me wanting to post mine like that too. Now that I have a thinner pic of me I think I'll post it on our photo gallery on Yahoo.

Hi Queens: I see that evryone is doing so good that i feel good just becasue of that.
Joan: you said som,ething that brought tears to me eyes and describes exactly how i feel , you said " I AM GLOWING".
I went to but winter clothes foir my vacations and guess what/???? bought a couple of pants 2X that fit me perfeclty ( i used to be 3 X). I know that almost 20 LB it may not be too much compared to the total amount i have to weight but i loved it that i went a size down.
The unvelieble paret is this: my bra size went from 46 DD to 42 C and it is still a little bit big. Of course my hubby is not very happy about this part of my body shrinking but i wanted to know if you guys have had any decrease in size in the upper part.

I am back on track. I ate right and even did 15 min. of exercise plus, I cleaned house like a mad woman. The urge hit me. Almost like the nesting syndrom.

I have a question for everyone. This is off topic, but, Does everyone have a tree up yet?

I don't. It is sitting outside waiting on me.

Cheryl, happy to hear you are back on track. You definitely did better than me, I was going to exercise last night but I didn't...I was so tired. Since I get up earlier cause of all this energy I also tend to fall asleep sooner...LOL. Tonight it's double dose for me, maybe some treadmill AND yoga.
