I'm looking for great motivated ppl to jump on the wagon w/ me and hold me accountable (and be held) for all that is going on in my life. I"m looking to make great friends and someone that understands my frustrations when I get all crazy. I would love for someone, anyone to jump on board. Motivation station!!

Hi. I just started Atkins (again) I am really having a hard time staying on the (or any diet) long enough to see any real results.

I am in Richmond, would love to get and offer support!

I used to be in the AF myself, got out about 2 years ago.

I hope to be some sort of help for u. U are more than welcome to e mail me at my aol or Msn s/name. I have been on this b 4 also and I got off. I went to visit my family in Kentucky and I had not seen them for 5 yrs. My aunt had diabets and she said it was b/c of her weight. I then knew I would be in the same boat if I did nothing about it. I also want to be in good health b/c I don't want to embarrass my kids. It sounds crazy but it's true. I had friends of mine that we so embarrassed by their parents b/c of their weight. So I am on board for life. I got my best inspiration from someone on this board they said

Once I got that mind set. I was all set. We can do it. I know it!!

Thanks! I know I do not have a large amount of weight to lose, however I am diabetic, and was told to get it under control now..or pay later. So, as you said it is now a way of life. I just really need to change a lot of old habits.

As for the embarassing your kids. I have to tell you that I come from a rather large (in size)family and although I was not embarassed, I think I missed out on being taught how to take care of myself, etc. So, I think you trying to set a good example for your kids is a great idea, and should give you a lot of motivation. Good Job!

Reguardless of how much weight u have to loose, it's hard to loose it. I am happy that u are willing to here my strugles. I am really seeing that everyone is a family here on this board. Kinda making me feel special. LOL
