LOL!!!
I almost went back in when I realized I forgot the LOL. I know you are too nice to do that to be mean. I am so impressed you remembered all the words to both verses. Cute.
The sun keeps peeping in and out and the snow is beautiful so I am happy. Now that I am warm again. I did fall on my sidewalk after I fed the horses but it is one time I am glad I still have that excess fat. Luckily, db had gone in house so no one saw me. Ha! Now I am going to go to work. Just didn't want you to feel bad. |

((((((((((((BIGHUGS)))))))))))))) isme! hope you didn't hurt your tush (or anything else) when you fell. yes, the snow is pretty but it is so cold! miles left a little while ago. he wouldn't wear his winter coat like i said - has a two shirts two light coats, hat, two pairs of gloves. called from his cell asking me to bring his winter coat. like i would be dumb enough to go out in this!
geez - he's at my mother in laws calling me now and says when i bring his winter coat to bring a d/c adaptor - guess i have to go out b4 long. have a great day!

HE! HE!
And I meant he, he, like men! Mine found a nice big old flannel jacket thing and I saw a few minutes ago that he left it home. He is in Tennessee now but on his way to Maryland. Men! Glad it is them traveling. He does have other warm stuff in the truck. This jacket I got last Christmas and he asked me Monday why I bought one that was too big for him. I told him that I didn't know he was going to lose 35 pounds at that time (We started in July, his idea and I followed).
Lady across the road just called for me to put my Great Dane up so they could plow my drifted driveway. Luv them neighbors. I have to get out tomorrow and that will make it easier. Just fed sick older db and now getting on computer to type up next Sunday's church service. Every now and then I get to plan. Kind of fun. D/C adapter? Does he have a snow shovel and kitty litter, in case? |

lol i like that hehe meaning males! i am surrounded by "hehe's" - hubby, 3 sons, and dog! but, somehow they don't always make me hehe, if you know what i mean!
what nice neighbors you have to clear your snow! my hubby left this am and hit the snow at about jeff. city - followed it all the way to st. louis. glad he made it safely. miles is 13 so didn't need kitty litter or anything in case of getting stuck - he was walking. he wanted the d/c adaptor because the batteries on his cd player had run out. i should have made him suffer - it was so cold and i hate going out in the cold. made him shovel the snow at our house this evening - hehe! stay warm if you can and have a great night! |

HE! HE! Revisited!
I thought you meant Miles was your dh. How funny. What a good mmmommmy you are to take him d/c adaptor for a CD.
My 3 boys were spaced out, 10 years apart. I did not have to mow the yard until I got old. A few neighbors kids worked cheap, too. Then I had Asthma and couldn't push a mower because of the grass and dust so when my dh had to have riding mower I could mow, too. I made it a point though to never do anything I could get the boys to do. Dd on the other hand could work circles around her brothers. and her mother, actually. I loved it when all four kids got old enough to drive. dgs, next door is fourteen. He four-wheels between houses now and occasionally we let him drive auto in the pasture. He brought his 2 year old db up on four wheeler this afternoon to borrow some milk and db fell on snow and was he mad. He didn't like cold either. I am surprized that MO thread is hopping in this weather. Rather dull all over today. I printed worm verse off for sick old db and he laughed. Neither one of us had heard second verse. |

Isme you always make me laugh and/or smile!
By the way - the worm song does have a third verse that I was not going to share - but I guess I'll go ahead and "gross you out" now. (or can moms of 3 boys get grossed out easily?) oh I can! 3rd verse: up comes the first one, up comes the second one, guess i shouldn't eat worms. long, skinny slimy ones, short, fat, juicy ones, itty bitty fuzzy wuzzy worms! ![]() |

Oh, my Goodness!
My db and I got a kick out of the other now I had to print this off to show him tomorrow. My doctor brother prescribed him a Z pack so hopefully he will get better soon. That verse is the verse to end all verses. If you got anymore you got to share!
This brother sent me a checkbook cover one time years ago that had a picture of a cat and it said something to the effect Love them little mousies Eat them something something (I think night and day) Bite them little heads off Nibble on them tiny feet! Now both of us are animal lovers, but it still struck us both so funny. There was a mouse in my feed barrel yesterday morning and the lid was on which means the night before I had scooped with it in there. Oooo!! I had to turn barrel on the side and bang on bottom so it would run out. I let the cats take care of that kind of stuff not me. Enough grossness for tonight! |

that z pack should help your brother feel good right away. i feel ill. something made me pick up the mixed nuts tonight. i was just gonna have a couple of almonds, but took "just one cashew", then "just one more", then.......... i so do not overeat or even snack much anymore - don't know what hit me but if i knew how to make myself uh - well - "get rid of it", i think i would. gosh, i can't believe i used to eat whatever i wanted whenever i wanted and as much as i wanted. i'm going to bed - talk to you tomorrow. oooooooh yea - almost forgot - michael comes home tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!! he will be here till late in january - hope we don't drive each other nuts! |

One more!
I just got through the emails and yours popped up! What in the heck is that mousie song? Do you know? Somewhere I have that checkbook packed away but who knows where.
Speaking of getting rid of it, if you want to know how to get rid of it and have a laugh, go to Main Low carb and find "I am sooo constipated." What a riot! I like the first half of the binjing (sp) and purging. I think nuts would be a really painful purge across your throat. Ewe, Ooo, or ugh! You know I love my adult kids, most of them, and it sounds like you will too. I'm not sure how old Michael is but he must be getting there. My youngest is 29. Good night! |

Oh, Good Lord!
Home alone with three teenagers in bad weather? Fate worse than, well a lot of things. They generally find a way to get out of the house, don't they. If they stay, even if they can't stand each other they can gang up on mom!
Those rotten teenagers grow into adults and can become your best friends. I love teenagers really, and would choose them to be in my case load whenever possible at DFS. I used to tell them (foster kids) and my own bio kids that if I made them mad, then I guess I was doing my job! Gotta go to MO thread now, see ya! |

Isn't it beautiful?
It is still snowing. I am glad I got lots to do here at home. Maybe nice neighbor or nice son in law will plow me out some time tonight or tomorrow. If it ever stops.
I guess the teens didn't eat you alive last night. Ho! Ho! Ho! ![]() |

well, isme, still snowing here at 1:56 pm saturday. i have bad news - hubby called this am at 8 to tell me he had left st louis at 5:30 and was taking time. didn't hear from him for a while so called at 10 am. he had a wreck on 50 highway west of sedalia. i called AAA and they sent a tow truck - they were going to bring him home today but decided roads were too bad. they will bring him and his car home tomorrow. in the meantime, he's warming up in a motel room in sedalia.
by the way - told boys to make sandwiches for lunch today - no sandwich meat - they ate it all last night. we were going to be gone for dinner tonight - miles was supposed to skate at crown center and we were going to hang out. and miles was bringing a friend home with him from the city to spend the night - his birthday is tomorrow. well, that's all cancelled and i guess i have to go to the grocery store or i will end up cheating for the first time because i don't have any easy munchies. and am i ever hungry today - what's with that? is it because i am so cold? stay warm hon - and if you see mr. sun - send him westward! |

It has stopped in Odessa!
Tuna fish salad? I thought about that for db or in this case maybe just b, anyway, made a carbsense casserole that made a bunch. It is on Rate the Products on Main low carb lobby. It would have fed a bunch of kids. I had to make something because I was obsessing over cookies and fudge and well, you get the picture. I am sure it is the cold. You know our primitive selves think we need more fat to ward off the cold.
That is too, too bad about your dh, my gosh. Is he hurt or just shaken up? Will that be free from AAA? Have you thought of any substitutions for Miles and his birthday? It would be hard to outdo ice skating at Crown Center. My dh is on his way back from Maryland and said he has another trip. I hate him running so hard but he will probably get all of January almost to sit around. This is so good for our bank account. He wasn't pleased when I told him snow and ice on Tuesday again before he gets out of here. Where do you think our MO friends went? By the number of hits, I know they sneak in and read but then don't write. Odd......... ![]() |

hi isme - argh i hate seafood and the smell, but am glad you fixed something to keep you from eating off plan. i am so hungry today - had to go out for dinner and then to store because i went to bed shortly after dinner last night and dang teenage boys about ate me out of house and home. thought we were set with food for storm today...
my hubby is doing fine, thanks for asking. he's supposed to call the tow truck co in sedalia at 9 tomorrow morning and they will probably be able to bring him home right away then. i don't know what to do about miles' birthday - skating cancelled, simon not coming, and we have to hang around town so we can pick up pat when he gets back. maybe a matinee with a friend or something. or maybe we can just wait until after Christmas and do something. with matthew and miles' birthdays both at Christmastime, we have done them in january before and they seem to like that. or at least they did when they were younger. anyways, i'm gonna just go with the flow. i guess i better get off here - long day and i'm tired. geez - it's only 9:22 pm. before this woe i used to stay up to 2 or 3 am and then sleep late or take a nap. now i can hardly stay up past the news and up by 7 on weekends and 6 on weekdays. and no nap! great unexpected benefit! have a good day sunday - probably won't talk to you till monday afternoon or tuesday - 'cos trying to take care of car details. stay warm! |

SADDAM is CAPTURED!!!
I got up to go to bathroom and db or b who never sleeps told me so I had to turn news on, couldn't go back to sleep but b did of course.
You are right on that sleeping thing. Is it the change in coffee? I still do caffeine in whatever form I did before. I cut it for a while and it doesn't seem to matter in losing for me. My dh should be home this afternoon or a little later. He was starting to hit weather in Indianapolis yesterday. Hope yours is home soon. I got church, chores, etc. Dh will have computer most of time. Don't worry if you don't answer for a hile. I am just watching wonderful video of Saddam in dehumanizing medical examination with that tongue depresser and flashlight in his mouth. By the way, I didn't say I didn't eat anything off plan. I have had about an inch of illegal cherry no bake cheese cake pie every day this week. Mmmm. I wonder why I can't lose this five pounds of goal weight. Down 2-3 but holding. Give Miles a hug, poor kid. I forgot my youngest birthday this year but he forgave me. He likes something to hold over my head. At least you are thinking of Miles. |

I keep singing - Ding Dong the Witch is Dead. Don't know why but that just kinda stuck in my mind when I heard the news.
Isme, you know better than to eat that cheesecake, but as long as you are anyways, would you eat some for me, lol! Good for you to limit - I think if I had an inch I would take a yard! Took Miles to Sunday School and just had to pop in to see what everyone was saying about Saddam. Tow truck supposed to leave Sedalia to bring hubby home sometime soon. I ate low carb ice cream bar last night and my stomach is churning this am. I think I'll chew a tums and drink some diet ginger ale before I go to church. I have a lot of acid - used to eat some bread to soak that up - can't now. I haven't had any stomach problems since starting this WOE, used to eat about 8 tums a day at least - now need one maybe once a week. Isme, make it go away! Geez I bought a box of bars and a little carton of ice cream. Tasted way too good I shoulda known - but, it was so rich - maybe eat only 1/2 next time. Well, gotta leave in 10 so I better put my face on - don't wanna scare anyone! Have a great day! |

How funny!
You are sick! That same tune kept going through my mind and I thought, but he isn't dead. I wondered if I was wishing (and I am so passive except about our boys over there being made safer).
It isn't the rich in the ice cream as much as all the sugar alcohols. They stopped bothering me except for the gas (flatulence) so I am limiting them because I feel they may be metabolizing in me. Hope your hubby makes it. Mine decided that even though his dd and I said he shouldn't bring the trailer that he would anyway. They are both stuck down in the ditch down the road. The tow guy just called and dd is taking him to his truck in their big truck. I could have easily picked him up from the truck stop, but oh no, he would just drive the tractor part home. Did he, oh no, he thought he needed more weight. Men! He will have to pay though because he is missing Chief's game and has to go on into Independence to pick up dgs who spent the night in there. This is the first time in my life I have had any control over what I eat. What a rush. |

Oh Isme what are we going to do with these men????????
I'm glad no one was hurt and they are not too far away from home. Patrick had to drive his truck to work today - that'll teach him - it gets about 12 MPG and his Saturn gets about 35. He will go broke by the time they get the Saturn repaired, lol! (Gosh, that's mean of me )Anyways, I think I am sick - ran kids to school and went to curves, ran errands this am. It's 12:38 and I haven't eaten anything yet. I feel very tired/headachy/stomach hurts. I hope I'm not getting the flu. Surely that ice cream wouldn't be still upsetting my stomach. Miles' birthday ended up working out okay - the Dad of the boy who was gonna spend the night Saturday called and we went out to dinner with them at Ryan's in Raymore last night. They sang to Miles' and it was cool. He was pretty happy about it, since he wasn't expecting any celebration after Saturday's plans fell through. Have a good day, Isme. Hope we don't get much snow tomorrow. |

You don't have the dreaded flu do you? Don't breathe on the computer. Oh....never mind I will just wash my hands real often and I won't catch anything. I am so sorry you aren't feeling good. There are several things going around, from bad colds to upper respiratory to flu to another one the doctors here are just saying is a stomach upset and gets over much quicker. My dd took my dh to his stuck truck when wrecker was coming and my dd said my dh fell really hard on his shoulder. Dh confessed to falling three times in all. Tow guy only charged him $175.00 plus dh tipped him $25.00. I fell this AM but am fine. Still have a lot of bounce in me. Dh is now on way to Baltimore again. He will probably be off most of January so it balances. I am so glad birthday boy got a treat. That is a nice Ryans, well a few years ago it was when I took one of my foster kids in my case load. Springfield has a good one too. I'm not too crazy about the one in Indep. but lots of people must be because it is pretty full most of the time. I didn't remember that they sang for birthdays. Hope it doesn't snow because I want to go to Cargo Largo and a few places tomorrow. I don't even know what to recommend for how you feel except crawling in bed and pulling the covers over your head. On the Golden Years Forum someone who was sick was having a slumber party. No, I didn't jump in. Get Well! |
