Wyoming girl on the road to happier trails
Hi...i've just completed my 1st week on Atkins..and all i can say is WOW! I'm a 38 yr. old divorced mother of 3..ages 19,16 and 12. Over the past 5 yrs. i have allowed my weight to creep up out of control. Now it's time to get the excess weight off! I weighed in at 212 lbs on the 28th of October. ( I'm 5'6 ) This morning i weighed in at 203!!! WOOHOO!! I could sure use some inspiration from another newbie or anyone who just wants to go along for the ride w/ me. I KNOW this is a new way of life for me and would love to share it w/ someone like me.

Hey, dads-shadow, I'm from Wyoming too! I live in Cheyenne. It's so good to hear that you have started off on the right foot. Keep up the good work!
My DH and I started doing this WOE back in September and we have been working out on a regular basis. I'm 31, no kids, 5'5" and started at 173...right now I'm down to 165. Sort of slow, I know, but I'm making the changes in my lifestyle I know I can stick with. That is better for me than doing something drastically different and only sticking with it for a couple of days. You'll find most people here are really sweet and more than helpful. Lots of great ideas and support. Welcome! |
