Yes, Scream real loud!

Great job! Stick with it! I giggle every morning when I get up and pass the mirror! I don't run past it anymore. I stop and see a confident woman who knows, when you put your mind to something, anything can be accomplished!

Can a mirror be my friend again?

You bring up a really good subject....the mirror. For years I stood in front of a mirror only when putting on makeup or fixing my hair...being careful not to stand back and see the full picture (ugh!)
Now for the first time in so long I can stand back and see a shape forming. A shape that I have not seen in years!
I'm 5'9 and right now my goal is 170....only 37 pounds away.
Can I get to that?....Yeah.... I really think I can!!!
I'm even starting to believe that I could get below 170.....Now that's an amazing thought!

Congrats! And i know how you feel about blowing past that 170 goal.

I originally wanted to lose 50lbs. Reached that then went for 75. I've blown past 100 now and although it's slow, the pounds just keep melting off! So i just keep eating my steak, prawns in butter and veggies and laugh every time i'm down another pound.

Mirror-i still look at the reflection and wonder if that's really me. Find myself looking around for the rest of me! I think it's gonna take a while before it really sinks in!

Congrats again.....and may those other 37 pounds melt off as quick as the last 37!

Kari
