Lower Carb bagels

For those who miss a bagel now and then, contact Western Bagel Company for their new Alternative bagel. They have 4 favors with 25 carbs and 7 grams fiber which means a net 18 carbs. Their bagels are VERY large so 1/2 for a sandwich would work. Just spoke with the manager of the company about the line and they ship out orders on Wednesdays to arrive Friday. The cost of 6 bagels is $3.50. Shipping is whatever the actual postage is and handling is $2.00.

Oh! I bought some bagels at a local healthfood store made by "Diabet" They were soooo good. Pricey. 1.29 each.........
They are 6 ecc per bagel (whole). I bought a garlic and a poppy seed. They were both delicious! No soy taste. Not even a lot of soy in them because its almost the last thing in the ingredient list. Gonna get myself some for Mother's Day

I bought o'solo bagels, only 3.3 carbs each. Lots of yummy flavors. My fave is banana walnut.

Well, I came to share abt Western bagels and you all already know!

I just returned from So Cal and stumbled upon the bagels at Ralph's. Picked up the cinnamon bagels and truly enjoyed half of one for breakfast. So so good with butter on it. WICKED!

Off to ck out the O So Lo bagels. We can't get this stuff down south, at least not the Western bagels!

Liberty'sMOM,

Thanks for the tip on the O So Lo bagels. I looked on their website and they are not shown at all. I know that I have seen their rolls at my health food store. Has anyone bought them online? If so, what website? Just curious. TIA!

I have found a local bagel store that makes FRESH Lo Carb Bagels.
They make only 2 kinds, Oat and Everything.
But they are REAL NEW YORK Bagels, hot out o fthe oven just like normal ones. I am afraid to ask what the carb counts are though.
But they are made with soy flour but i don't tastethesoy like I usually do in soy products, also they are no sugar no salt added.
Next time I will ask the counts, reluctantly. I have a half or a whole one depending, so I am hoping they are not too high.
Anyone in the Staten Island area interested let me know.
Oh and they arethe same price as the regular bagels, instead of the 7 bucks for 6 frozen blah bagels I had paid at the low carb store.

We have a new shop that opened here recently called Diet Delicious...they sell several brands of frozen bagels that are great! One that I found the label on in freezer here is called Low Carb Depot...they have a website also...just add "online.com" to the name of bagel all low caps and all together. They're really great...their prices for shipping at that site are a bit much...so if you could find them locally it'd be cheaper. We pay $5.99 for 6.
